Watering the garden have noticed it’s starting to fray, not good not been used much because of hose pipe band. Just wait to see how long it will last, not hopeful though.
This expandable hose is do much more substantial than the previous two expandable hoses we have owned, which is my number one consideration. I also like the brass fittings, one of which is a lever at the gun end to stop water.

I’ve had multiple cheaper versions from amazon and ebay, all of which had their inner tubes burst at some stage whether it was during the first week or the 8th month. But it gets tedious to go back and forth asking for replacements and returns. I got fed up.
Bought this one for more than the rest, but so far everything has seemed much better. The fittings are all brass rather than plastic and the hose itself coils/expands very quickly. It feels a lot sturdier and its still really light. Even the spray gun is better!
Great hose, quality fittings, works great in expanding. some cheap versions out there but this hose is good quality.
I did not cover my hose to protect it from sunlight and it still lasted over 2 years. The hose is very convenient, easy to store and resists kinks. It is great for seniors who prefer not to wrestle a heavy standard garden hose. The shut-off valve is great when washing and rinsing your car to save water.
Not so lightweight as my previous one, however that burst so hopefully this will be stronger.

I ended up buying two, one for the front and one for the rear garden. It doesn’t leak like other expendable hoses due to the strong brass fitting for the tap and the spray head. It reaches a long eay so no need for extention like my old hose. Good buy all round and well worth the money.

The hose pipe its self is just what I wanted , But the sprayhead supplyed the range of diffrent sprays is not as good as my old hosepipe but I’m pleased to record that that it was easy to use my old spray head .

Absolutely love how light and durable this hose is. I am over the heavy bulky and cumbersome the “regular” hoses are. I am able to get into my garden easier and just overall use!

I was very hesitant about purchasing this item as had problems with hose pipes before. Having resolved the problem of tap connection, I find this was the best decision I made. The hose pipe is easy to unravel and to store away. Makes gardening quick, easy and less time consuming. Very highly recommended.

Brass fitting a plus hose seems sturdy spray nozzle on the flimsy side but fitting better as spray mixer screws on .
Very nice product however when it arrived it did seem a bit frayed in places but not enough to send it back.
A great value product. I love the options on the hose trigger, and that it shrinks so that it can be stored over the tap. The brass connections seem to be good quality.

Cost a fair bit more than the similar hose it has replaced but what a difference in the quality of the hose and attachments. You get what you pay for as the saying goes!

I bought this hose back I 2018 and it’s been the best hose ever. It’s clever the way it recoils when not in use and takes up little room in my small garden. Recently, the hose sprang a leak and it was replaced by the seller immediately and with very good grace. A great product and great after sales service. Highly recommended
Arrived in excellent time. Unfortunately, I was out for a few mins but it was left with my next-door neighbour. Arrived today and used today excellent. It is a massive difference from my old long hose it was good to use this hose. Thank you to the driver and the seller and Amazon.

I bought this in April 2020 and have been highly delighted with it….but after 2 years and 2 months disaster…the hose sprung a leak!
I contacted the company and explained the situation and claimed on the lifetime warranty. A new hose arrived the next day! Fantastic service and I would recommend them to anyone based on this! Thank you!
Had this for about 12 months and really like it, however it has punctured and will need replacing so it’s not leak proof as the maker claims
For this not inexpensive hose I expected a longer life.
I am now adding text to the above because the seller responded to my message to them very promptly and promised to send a replacement which should arrive this Saturday. The thing is, anything can go wrong but is is how that is dealt with which is important. My compliments to this supplier.
Update – When the new order arrived, I found the supplier contact, and their email response was immediate, So was the foc replacement they sent. I was very impressed with their customer service.
What a shame. This was a great product, lightweight, easy to use, plenty of length. But suddenly the inner hose split so can no longer be used. Amazon is not interested, and I don’t know which company is the supplier. Contrary to government intentions, this is not a product than can be fixed, so it has to go to landfill. 15 month lifespan is too short. What a shame.
Great addition to my garden tools. It’s easy to install and use. I have issues with joints in my hand and I found the hose pistol very comfortable and my hands don’t hurt me when I use it. It’s better than watering can because I don’t have to carry anything heavy.
Excellent garden hose and packs up back into the plastic bag it came in with no problem when finished using ensure all water is out of the hose by just keeping hold of the spray nozzle until no more water comes out as it makes the hose easier to remove from the tap and pack away.
It really does not kink . I have recently had a new hip then a new knee , i can take it around the garden to where ever I need it is so light weight and easy to use. Maybe a tad more expensive than some but well worth the money . For not having to stop every few minutes to untangle it . It is top quality ,Have had it over a year now and I felt it worth the time to write a review.
Having purchased a flexible hose from another well known brand a few months ago I recently found myself having to purchase another hose to replace it as it burst. Having researched lots of different flexible hose options I decided to pay a bit more and get the flexi hose I am so glad that I did. It feels quite robust with the brass fittings so no leaks and the sprayer has 8 different spray options just perfect. If you are undecided please go ahead and buy this one I can highly recommend it.
One of the best products I’ve bought from Amazon. Its sturdy, well made and perfect for pots on a patio or beds within reach, so get the right size. It expands and contracts easily and there is a wide selection of spray patterns. I’ve had it over a year and not experienced any of the negative issues on other reports.
I’ve only used this 3 times so far but it looks a lot sturdier than the 2 previous flexible hoses I’ve bought which have sprung leaks after a few weeks. I need a lightweight hose as traditional ones are too heavy for me so I have persevered to find one that works. I’m going to handle this one with kid gloves. I won’t be dragging it round the side of the house or pulling it out to it’s max length. Very happy so far.
Very good hose. 50ft in length Expands to 3 times the length. What it doesn’t say is that it’s 50ft after expansion and not long enough. Now have to buy extension or another hose!
This hose is really good and space saving- we store it in a bucket outside when not in use. It’s a shame that it won’t connect to my Karcher machine as we have had to keep the old hose as well just for that purpose
We have a relatively small garden and the hoses we’ve previously had always looked messy however much we tried to tidy them. This hose is perfect. When it’s not being used it loops only a couple of times and just sits over the tap and the black colour means it’s not noticeable. When being used, it expands and does a great job of getting to all the corners. Highly recommend!

My only gripe is that the “mist” setting is not as fine as I would have hoped.
Very happy with the quality I think it will last longer than previous ones that I have brought if you look after it.Only downside is that both ends are fixed so you cannot change fittings or just disconnect from the tap but having said that I just brought a second one for round the back.

I can’t believe how small it is, and how much it expands!! You just need to make sure to keep the hose on to drain after the water is turned off. Maybe is obvious – but wish someone had told me!!
It came boxed within an amazon box, and packaged super well. There were no faults at all and actually looks super high quality!!
Have struggled to get the fittings to fit from the hose brass fittings to fit my pressure washer is the only negative I have found, the hose is excellent value for money
Very maneuverable but I had to buy an additional adapter to fit it to our outside tap. I should have checked the spec more carefully. It gives more pressure than other hoses so yih have to be careful not to damage plants.
I have used it once and it does what is supposed to do. It had to come through the house from the back where the tap was across the carpet in the sitting room so that it was very important that it did not leak.
i was a little disappointed that the advertising did not tell me the actual length of the hose, just 23 metres. was that extended or not?
It was not so it would help if the makers put both the normal length and the extended length on their advert.
I now need to get another as it is not long enough to cover my garden.
I ordered this hose after getting sick of wrestling with a traditional hose reel for many years. I chose this one over other designs or off brand versions because of the overwhelming number of good reviews – and I was not disappointed!
Exactly as described, this hose is feels fairly robust and reaches the bottom of my garden. I ordered the 100ft hose for my ~100ft garden (wow!). The metal fixings look great and luckily fit my tap without any need for an adaptor. It expands as expected and so far has been excellent for watering my plants without all the hose reel drama!
My only criticism is that the supplied gun does feel very very cheap, but since this is “free” I’m not too worried about getting a replacement if it does give up.
I only hope that this hose lasts for a year or more, as some of the other reviews show burst fixings that worry me! Only time will tell, and I’ll try to update my review if anything happens.
This is the third expandable hose i have owned and i can say this is the best one i have owned. The attachments are made from metal and are less complicated than previous versions. Just screws straight into two. The material of the hose feels alot more robust and solid than earlier models. Hopefully this will mean it lasts longer than earlier models which tended to burst. The spray gun has array of options. Only negative is the spray options seems too powerful so can no longer use to water pots with seeds. But otherwise very happy so fa
This hose is great as it is small when not in use but can get long when used and pulled out.
Problem is it’s quite difficult to move the hose when in use as you pull a section and it just pulls out a bit at a time instead of moving the whole section – thus it takes ages to move about.
Think a shorter version would have been better so think in advance what length you need and just don’t go for the longest version . It also takes ages for the hose to drain the water out prior to disconnecting.
I probably need a hanger to store the hose and unravel a section at a time?
Over all though seems a good solid hose and see how long it lasts.
Happy with the hose. Time will tell how well it lasts but it seems good quality. The spray head isn’t the best quality however in my opinion. The spray options are good but the pin to hold the head in the on position is flimsy and keeps becoming pushed out of place meaning the handle releases.
in order to ensure longevity you must make sure you empty the Hose every time you use it. Do not leave it where it will be subjected to below zero temperatures….ignore this advice and it simply wont last the distance, I have problems in the past so the Jury is out right now…so far so good!
This is my second of these within 3 years, due to the inner lining parting & leaking. To be fair it might be partly my fault as I leave it out in all weathers & it was subjected to a lot of sun in the afternoon. The fittings it comes with on the discharging end are limited to a male stew connection for the gun – it would be helpful if a adaptors to allow the hoselock type of quick coupling could be used. Overall this hose has a nice flexible feel & is easy to use store & manoeuvre
Very compact product when empty which is good for storage. The sprayer is a bit cheap feeling but it works without fault. The isolator has a screw to fix it to the hose. That regularly comes undone and the isolator falls off. I then have to screw it back in place. Not a major drama just annoying.
Hoses has a quality feel as do the brass coupling. I would have expected push fit connectors both ends, the old screw fit type. Just fitted an adapter and all is well. On the box and on a leaflet inside, it states lifetime replacement, without any details on how to make a claim. I don’t take the replacement offer seriously.

It’s exactly like in the description and you get what you pay for.
It is dripping a tiny bit at the tap but I don’t mind.
Lightweight, expands to its final length in no time amd plenty of spray patterns. I use shower mode for the plants and vertical or horizontal for cleaning purposes, works.
The only downside is that the outer liner won’t stay as smooth when you have to drag the hose over a gravel path or stone tiles. Also it holds a massive amount of water after closing the tap. I fill my watering can with it to shrink the hose so I can roll it up and store in the shed.
This is a great hose once you’ve mastered how to use it as it is a little different to the normal type. It’s very compact when collapsed and quite light. The only downside we have experienced is that the outside casing tends to ‘snag’ on less than smooth surfaces. Absolutey fine across a lawn for example but if a patio surface is not smooth it snags really easily. If you don’t cut the snags when you see them it snags even more easily the next time you use it. The photos show a few of these snags though maybe not too clearly, sorry.
We recommend the hose but advise people to fully consider the surfaces they might experience in their own usage situation.
It feels like a heavy duty hose to touch with a thicker outer surface and stated to be a double layer of silicone pipe.
I’d read many questions and answers so realised it screwed directly onto the outside tap BUT it did leak so I bought the brass M & F fittings and that fixed the leak. The spray gun wasn’t as good as some I had from other hoses so I changed them over and all is good.
I first bought a Supalong hose in 2018 which was brilliant but due to my own stupidity, I pulled too hard round the corner and didn’t realise I was pulling on the part attached to the tap and it came away. I’d used that for 2years and it was great. I tried to replace it with a new one in 2020 but lockdown was in place and they were out of stock.
I bought others but they didn’t last 2 minutes.
Then Supalong were back in stock but they are not the same as the initial one I bought 2018
I have had to send one of them back but I hope this one will last as long as my first extendable hose.
This is my third one of these and the first two each lasted about one year before they burst. Brass fittings are pointless if the hose is going to burst. This one feels like much better quality and a lot stronger hose. The spray gun has gone in the bucket as it sprayed water from the sides of the head. I could have fixed the leak with a silicon seal but the head would then have been in a fixed position and would not have swivelled, so this is a dreadful design and an embarrassment to the rest of the product. The screw fittings are a bit fiddly and you will need a screw/push fit adapter to use a different spray gun or a sprinkler etc and I was fortunate to have the adapter. The stop cock on the end of the hose is great for changing tools from the sprinkler to spray gun, or spray gun to spray gun that works. Fortunately I also had spare spray guns available. Overall, a good product and I would have given it five stars had it come with an adapter and a spray gun that works.
Arrived yesterday and used it for the first time. Its light, durable and water pressure is good, though the nosel is cheap made but do its job. Overall satisfied with the purchase.
Storage is an issue, need a hook or something to try and tidy away.
Seems to give less pressure at the spray end compared to a more rigid hose. Takes a while to empty the hose once the tap is turned off as it is under pressure from the hose extending.
Overall quite like it and will use regularly.
It leaked below the shutoff valve, but the leak stopped when I added a second washer in the spray nozzle (washers are included in the package). I’ve used it for a week now and the hose works as advertised.
I note that you have to keep it out of the sun to avoid degradation which is a bit of a pain but I can accommodate that by disconnecting from the outdoor tap after use and letting it drop into the bucket. The whole hose sinks below the surface and this should provide enough protection from the sun through absorption and shadow.
The fixings on this product are made of brass and everything fits and works well.
My review will be updated if my opinion changes after using it some more, but for now this hose is highly recommended.
