I take this with me when I’m camping and want firewood. It works really well. My first impressions where that it felt a bit flimsy and it’s bigger than I expected. But it’s light and has held up really well. So perfect addition to my kit.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGot this for pruning shrubs where branches are too big for secateurs. Used it a number of times – its robust and doesnt get gunked with sap. Folds and locks open/closed. Good saw and not bendy like my last one – will buy it again should it ever stop working! Well pleased!

I was struggling with a few jobs in the garden, didn’t want to spend a fortune on power tools, so I figured I would try this and it’s fantastic. Feels comfortable in the hand and the safety feature certainly helps accident prone people like me. It cut through various sized branches with relatively little effort, very handy to keep in the tool kit.

I bought this as a replacement for a folding I saw I’ve had for 15+yrs that broke. I wanted something small enough that would fit into my waist pack for carrying when biking and this is ideal. It’s light weight, super sharp and cuts like a dream and has already paid for it self. Easily cuts through both soft and hard woods including gorse etc..
an great saw and ideal for any mountain biker that wants to carry a folding saw for cutting back protruding branches etc.. when out riding

The hand saw is very useful for cutting back branches as it doesn’t get snagged on stuff like a bow saw might. So I am quite pleased with it…my only words of caution would be to watch your fingers when you are closing the blade into the handle…you can’t do it with one hand if up a ladder..and even with two hands you have to watch that your fingers are out of the way. That apart, I’m glad to have it to aid me in the constant battle with my shrubs.

A good helper in the garden. Slightly bigger than I thought it was going to be. Comfortable grip and does the job. Slight wobble where the blade meets the handle which may or may not affect lifespan, but otherwise ideal.

Don’t be fooled by the price! It may not have a fancy belt clip or gimmick blade lock but it’s a great little saw.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI had previously give this saw a bad review before I realised, after bemoaning the fact that it wouldn’t cut
properly, that it cut on the backstroke, not the forward stroke!!! No wonder I thought it wasn’t man enough
for the job. So I felt it was my duty to put matters right and give the review that the product deserved in the
first place. It is in fact an extremely good little saw, and certainly IS man enough for the job. I don’t know
whether the packet mentioned that the saw cut on the backstroke or not, but I just assumed that it cut like
any other saw. So, apologies for giving an initial bad review. I am now very glad I purchased it and would
    certainly recommend it.

Was slightly worried by a few of the reviews but no need. This is a perfect handy cutter that will cut easily through branches, have only used briefly but initial thoughts are this is a great choice.

Excellent cutting properties. Ideal for overgrown banksides when fishing or for removal of small to medium branches making a shooting hide. I particularly like the fact you can’t close it on unsuspecting or cold hands as the safety lock is very good. Far lighter than an axe and almost as versatile. Updated: After using regularly for around 3 months about 2 or 3 times a week its retained its sharp edge, not fallen apart and is now part of my every day carry when outdoors. My arthritic hands have little problems with it and I’m really glad it doesn’t snap all the way closed or I’d be minus fingers. There are much more expensive items out there but at this price if you loose or break it its not tge end of the world. My only criticism is they didn’t do green when I bought mine

Best for smaller branches. Also, it cut more efficiently when sawing slower. Too fast clogs the teeth. Easy to open and close. For bigger branches though get a bowsaw.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have just spent three days trying to remove a stump of a tree. I have tried digging around the roots and cutting the smaller ones with secateurs and the medium ones with my loppers.
It still would not give in. I thought about buying a sabre saw or a small chainsaw but while I was browsing the Amazon store I came across this saw
It arrived today and I tried it out on the biggest root it went through it like a hot knife through butter. What a fantastic piece of kit!!!!!
Well worth the money. Good build quality and very efficient cutting action.

I ordered this a while ago and forgot about it in my garden tool cupboard. Reached for it yesterday to saw through some solid wood bamboo roots, a nightmare. Really amazed that it cut through it, with effort, but anyone who has done the same should know that that is a miracle! (15 foot high and stems like scaffolding poles!) Thought that is was an old one but seeing it today in my orders realized that it was new and worth every penny!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI got this to cut thicker branches in my garden. It cuts through 1″ or 2″ branches really well, larger ones require more effort, but does the job. It has a safety button on top that stops the blade opening when not in use, and folds away into the handle. The button also keeps the blade open when using it. The plastic handle is sturdy, and its fair quality. I have used on quite a few smaller tree branches and its still very sharp. I’m very happy and think its good value.

    Cuts well

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a must have item! This is by far my best buy. I can saw branches and anything too big for the shears to cut with little effort.
I just wipe the blade down with oil / WD-40 after each use to keep it at it’s best for as long as possible. Very much worth the money.
The only reason I gave this a 4 start was because of how you have to open and close the blade. There is a button to press in at each side on the handle to release and pull the blade out with the other hand being careful not to get your hand/fingers caught on the blade.

This little hand held knife works well. The saw teeth are extremely sharp, and it made short work of my apple tree branches. I just hope my decisions about where to prune were as sharp! Because the blade opens out to nearly 180 degrees, I have also been able to use it on the thick old ivy branches clinging to the wall. This is hard work, and I hope the saw is robust enough.
But for pruning young growth it is excellent.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI got this for an ill conceived winter camping trip. All of us have cheap pocket knives that have saw blades but they always seemed pathetic at the best of times. During a late December trip I didn’t want to take chances and got the cheapest folding saw on Amazon. My expectation wasn’t much but I was very surprised how well this cut. It made quick work of wrist thick branches and helped us gather a ton of fire wood. All of us were impressed with it’s quality and capability. I have no doubt this could handle larger pieces and now it’s an essential part of future trips.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBrought this (solid and well built) saw to compliment a secateurs set for cutting back/pruning some troublesome bushes. My son (who used the saw) was very pleased with the safety feature of the blade opening/closing and also the Fact that, for a very reasonable price, the saw dealt with some pretty tough “limbs” up to 8-10 cm thick. Would not hesitate to recommend this for similar garden jobs.

Great little product, my only “issue” is more of an annoyance and its the h&s gone mad fact that you have to unlock the blade twice to fold it into the handle. I understand it locks the second time to stop fingers getting caught between the blade and handle or something but if someone needs the product to have so many safety features to stop them hurting themselves, should they really be using it in the first place? Other than that its great and does exactly what i wanted
