The first bike I got broke after a week belt came off after sending some pictures they sent me a replacement, Happy with it easy to open and fold and to move about with having the wheels on i
So easy to assemble. All nuts and bolts were pre-fixed where they needed to be. My wife uses this, and it is so very quiet when in use, she loves it.
So easy to essemble/good value for money/looks great. Easy to manoeuvre and fold. Very pleased with the bike. Love the colour ‘yellow’.
Shame that when trying to put your phone on the handle bar area the green button is constantly depressing and altering stats readou
Looked around for a while as I’ve had a knee replacement and want to get more mobile. This bike hasn’t disappointed.
Easy ish to assemble, and seat moves up and down. Took a while to find the right position for me but there’s no stopping me now!!
Defo worth the money for what it does, recommend.
Bike arrived before time, easy to assemble, the seat is lovely and comfy. It folds up with ease. Been on it everyday since got it.
Wish I’d bought this months ago. Easy to put together and fold away. Sturdy and robust. Absolutely love it. Don’t have to go to gym. Just exercise watching my favourite shows. Great value for money.
Easy to assemble, very comfortable, best seat ever, more resistance would be better. Perfect gift.
Brought this bike as I’ve got arthritis in both knees an found keeping fit harder, this bikes strong, sterdy, easy to put together, the extra big seat is cost to sit on an the whole thing folds away to a corner when I’m not using. Very good value for money. Will say I’m only 5f3 an in recumbent its a tiny stretch to reach peddles. Not a big issue though.
The bike was easy to assemble using the guide. Most small parts are preassembled so matching screws and nuts to their allocated parts is minimal. The bike can get a bit unstable when used by someone with weight around 90 kgs. The seat is comfortable and doesn’t hurt between the thighs for someone with plump thighs. The screen gives an approximation of distance/calories/time etc which is handy. Overall a good purchase for the price. Could have done with a sturdier built and durability of the body parts.
This exercise bike is brilliant for the price, a lot cheaper than what you can spend. I use it just at home in the evening for a bit of exercise, I’m sure if you were more professional you would find it not suitable. But for my needs and what I want it for I am really impressed. Assembled by myself, took about an hour, instructions easy to follow.
Sturdy & very comfortable, I have it in my lounge so I can use it & watch the TV.
It is very easy to fold & put away when not in use.
Got this bike because it helps my arthritis. Love it. Comfier seat, backrest and you can have a choice of two ways to sit and pedal away. It’s a bigger monitor so you can keep track of your speed, distance pedalled, calories and your pulse. Folds up nicely to sit in the corner when not in use so doesn’t take up much space. Maybe just because of my arthritis I do find it a little hard to pull the stopper to unfold the bike but apart from that it’s really good. Also nice and quiet so your not listening to a loud bike as you workout and doesn’t annoy your neighbours. Worth the money.
Easy to assemble
Clear and easy to read screen
Data stays on screen until cleared, by keeping button pressed for a little longer
Wheels on the base makes moving the bike pretty easy
A good way of keeping fit
Saddle can be hard on the bottom after 15/20 minutes
I’m happy with the bike and would recommend it.
I’ve had this exercise bike for about 10 days now. My husband put it together which was straightforward to do. I am 76 and needed to increase my fitness levels. I am very satisfied with it and can recommend it. My height is 5 feet and it’s fine for me.
Really good strong bike, very very quiet. Lots of options. Good value for money
Great bike for the price . Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Can be easily moved by lifting the back and wheeling it. The seat is comfortable and the padded backrest and seat handles makes this bike good to use. An extra benefit is that cycling is silent !!
However – My husband is 6’2″ and it isn’t comfortable for him.
The spanner provided did not fit some nuts securely so we used an adjustable wrench spanner to complete the job. We have only had it a couple of days so can’t give a thorough review.
My wife put it together in under 30 minutes.
It’s fairly quiet in operation and comfortable.
I have been doing 30 minute sessions with no discomfort.
The LCD display although nothing fancy, it is clear in giving out your progress.
Highly recommended.
Very surprised at the quality of this bike. Very easy to assemble. Very comfortable and also very sturdy. I’ll never be an athlete but this bike will help me incorporate some exercise into my daily routine.
i had the instructions out to see how to put together did better without the instructions but i really like i
Delivered very quickly
Virtually silent
Saddle quite comfy
Does everything I want it to do. I’m recovering from a mild stroke and this has been perfect to get exercise and strengthen my leg. It’s not a professional gym type exercise bike but for home use it’s great.
Can’t believe how sturdy this bike is.
So many features too. I particularly like the back rest and because it folds away I can do my exercises in front of the TV then fold it up and wheel it out of the way.
Instructions could be clearer but figured it out.
Great price too.
What’s not to love?
Easy to assemble very good quality nice and sturdy seat comfortable get a good workout. Arrived very quickly ideal it folds away. Would highly recommend.
I was a little unsure about purchasing this bike, as it was such a good price I worried about the quality. Well I need not have worried at all, it was easy to assemble, it is sturdy and gives me “Gym bike quality” workout . Absolute bargain !!
This was easy to assemble, and I completed within an hour. What I really liked was that all the nuts were attached to the bolts, saved a lot of time.
Sturdy and easy to use. This is a heavier bike then my previous exercise bike and not as easy to fold or hold whilst carrying between rooms. That said I soon got used to it. It does have a comfortable padded seat which is quite wide. It has a range of settings that should satisfy most people. I only use in the upright position, but it does have a more reclined position for those that prefer it. I am pleased with this purchase.
More comfortable than my previous Ultrasport bike and better calibration for the resistance settings, but the rear floor support is smaller and less secure feeling
I had intended to leave it longer before reviewing but there’s a few things that need to be highlighted.
I bought this to help my recovery from long Covid. I needed something that would move my legs without straining my lungs. For that purpose alone, it’s good… however:
1) This is not built for long legs. I’m 6ft but have fairly long legs, and can only use this in with the seat at its highest and in 1 position or I smash my knees into the handle bar.
2) Reclining equipment is normally used to be more supportive, less strain on the body. Do not use this in the full recline if you have any issues with your neck, back or core. The back rest is not tall enough to support your spine safely.
3) Ignore the speed. Despite the manual, the speed is NOT miles per hour, it’s kilometres per hour. In flip flops, it thinks I’m going 30mph? I used to do a lot of road cycling and could barely hold 30mph on a flat road with a back wind! That said, I’m recovering from 14 MONTHS of inactivity, I don’t believe for a second I’m currently pedalling at 18mph. I could average that at good fitness. This then leads into…
4) Ignore the distance. If the speed is wrong, then so is the distance.
5) Most the resistance settings feel the same between 4 and 8. Below 4 is uncomfortable as there’s so little resistance it causes your body to rock. Probably fine for older users but…
5) Be ready to be quite agile getting on and off, especially if you have issues with balance, knees or hips – my 74 year old Mum was too nervous to try and get on it after seeing how high I had to lift my leg to step across. I also tripped off it by getting my foot caught in the side handles (but that could be a long leg/high seat combo)
It works for me with my current health but I feel like it have a very limited window of value. If those points don’t matter, then it’s a neat bit of kit that’s easy to put together & burn some calories while watching tv.
Brill product, very easy to assemble and folds away into small spaces
After evaluating several options I went for the BTM,more expensive but you get so much more.
It took under an hour to assemble because all the nuts, bolts and screws were already in place that made it that much easier.
Good solid materials make the bike very sturdy.
Apart from the adjustable saddle height I chose this bike because it had a very good additional feature that other bikes didn’t have.
You can adjust the frame to be closer or further away from the the front.
I could go on, 10 fitness levels, digital display and arm exercises.
Finally I would highly recommend the BTM exercise bike, my wife and I use it every day, excellent product.
All of us use this daily, including children and grandma. It has been a boon in this recent bad weather.
I received this bike a few weeks ago as an early birthday present. I’m getting married in a couple of months and wanted to shift some of my ‘lockdown weight gain’. I have various chronic pain and fatigue illnesses, so exercise is very difficult for me. We hoped that a bike might be some nice gentle exercise that my body could actually handle.
The bike arrived extremely quickly, a day earlier than advised in fact. My fianc put it together on his own and didn’t have too much trouble at all. It doesn’t have as big a ‘footprint’ as some bikes, and being able to fold up smaller is a bonus. We have the black/turquoise option and it’s a really nice colour.
The bike is simple enough to use. Pop the batteries in and the screen lights up, adjust the seat height and recline as much as you need to, and then hop on. The more reclined the bike is, the easier it is to climb on and off. I’m only 5′ 1″ and prefer to sit more upright, so it’s a little tricky getting on and off (due to my pain and stiffness) but it’s more than manageable. An elderly person may struggle, but would possibly prefer a more reclined seat position anyway, which would make it easier.
I usually leave the screen on ‘scan’ mode.m, but it doesn’t really matter as all the functions are on the screen at all times anyway. I usually use the bike for a set amount of time, but you could easily use the distance or calorie options. I can’t comment on high reliable the speed/distance/calorie counters are, but even if they’re not 100% accurate, at least you get a rough idea.
The seat is definitely more comfortable in a more reclined position. However, in a more upright position it’s pretty uncomfortable. Having said that, I haven’t been on a bike in years though so it may just be that I need to get used to it again!
I like that there’s a little shelf for your phone or a tablet, as listening to music or watching something helps me to exercise. I usually use the bike in front of the TV though. The only thing I would say, is be careful where you position things on the shelf – I put my phone down right in the middle and unfortunately it pressed and held the reset button and I lost my progress. There’s enough room either side to put your phone, but I don’t know why they put the rest button right where it can accidentally be pressed!
I’m on about number 5 on the resistance currently, as I am very de-conditioned from chronic illness. I sometimes move it a little higher for part of my workout and then move it back down for a ‘cool down’. It’s great to have that option.
Similarly, the elasticated arm exercisers provide enough tension to be a struggle for me. I expect my fianc could use them pretty easily as he’s very strong, but I’m not! I haven’t really used them much yet though due to an arm injury. Again, it’s nice to have the option.
I definitely recommend the bike. It’s at a good price point for a decent home workout and has good features. It was difficult to find a bike that was suitable for both myself and my fianc – I’m 5′ 1″ and he’s just shy of 6′. But after reviewing a lot of options, we settled on this one, and I’m glad we did.
A little while ago, my road bike tried to kill me by throwing me off as I was pootling through my local town centre. Whilst I recover from my smashed-up shoulder, I thought I would buy myself an exercise bike to stop my leg muscles turning to porridge as I await the day I can return to cycling my local lanes.
This bike came very quickly after I ordered it and was easy to assemble, even with only one arm working properly. I could have done it with the tools that came with it but the task will be easier and more enjoyable if you have ‘proper’ spanners and screwdriver of your own.
Before purchase, I worried whether the pedalling resistance would be enough to give a proper work out. I’m 59 and would class myself as an intermediate level cyclist — when I bike down to the local shops I overtake more than I am overtaken, but when I am among the Sunday morning enthusiasts on my local hill-climbs its very much the other way round. For me, the first 1-6 of the 10 resistance grades on this bike are for warm up, it is the last 3 or 4 that give enough resistance for a workout. Levels 8+ are about equivalent to what I would use on a gym bike. There would not be enough resistance to stand up in the pedals but they are set up too far forward for that to be comfortable anyway. This bike obviously won’t build as much leg muscle as a road bike would, but it will do something, and will help maintain cv fitness.
The saddle is too wide and lacks padding so is not particularly comfortable. There is no free-wheel. The LCD display has a pulse meter but compared with other bikes it seems inaccurate. The pedal clips are very narrow so its hard to get the feet in them properly. The bike is quiet in normal use but:
After I’d had the bike for about 4 weeks there developed a clicking as the left pedal passed the top of its travel, and after a while this developed into a solid ‘clunk’ which could be felt through the pedal on that side. Having checked the tightness of pedal and crank, investigation showed that this was due to a screw fixing that had worked loose in the mechanism inside the casing of the machine. In case anyone else gets this problem, I attach a photo showing the three offending silver-coloured cross-head screws, taken with the bikes plastic casing removed (with pedal temporarily re-attached). To get to these three screws you would need to first remove the pedal crank using a 14mm socket to remove the nut that holds the crank in place, then a crank extractor to force off the crank. Then the plastic casing can be dismantled and removed, revealing the screws. Having tightened one of these three screws that had become loose the bike is now no longer clunking or clicking but running smoothly, but my guess is that the problem will probably re-occur.
Overall, despite this minor problem, this is a basic but reasonable quality machine. Taking into account the low price, I would rate it as a good buy.
Exercise bike it’s good value for money very sturdy and easy to use very pleased with i
Pretty simple to assemble, has a good range of resistance to pedalling and the resistance bands for arm exercises are an added bonus. Well padded seat and the seat height adjusts fine for our family which ranges from 5’3” to 6’2” tall. Folds up nicely and once you get the knack (i.e. pull it together slightly first) the unlocking mechanism for moving from recumbent to upright to folded is easy to do.
Bolts, washers and nuts already in position. The diagrams are clear and the text is easily understood. I am an elderly lady and managed this without assistance. Fear not.
Wanted an exercise bike post pregnancy – it’s fairly easy to put together.
Resistance bands are a bit useless and wouldn’t think they’d contribute to any strength toning or fitness.
Resistance levels on the bike itself are fairly good – enough to work up a sweat.
Folds away enough that it’s not constantly a trip hazard.
Only issue would be a slight squeak has developed with the pedals (only occasionally) but easily fixed by whacking it with the slipper.
All in all a good product for home use while the gyms are shut.
What a great exercise bike for the money, the seat is really comfy got no complaints
I’m 6’3″ and I’m able to use this without my knees hitting the handle bars (bug only just), the digital read out is basic to look at but does the job, resistant bands a added bonus I enjoy, and it’s just what I wanted.
An excellent product for the price paid. All the features are great. Looked at other machines but this one was by far the best value for money. Would recommend.
This is perfect for what I want. It’s sturdy, comfortable and was way to put together. I was dreading all the screws, nuts and washer sorting there usually is but no there already in place ready for tightening etc. Easy instructions easy to follow. I managed to put it together within an hour. I’m not an handy person but found it straightforward.
Been on it a few times now and I love it. Best thing I could have bought. Delivered in a day so prompt. Highly recommend.
This exercise bike is more sturdy than I thought it would be easily adjustable very comfortable seat and back rest and I didn’t even need instructions to asemble good piece of kit save money as well… good buy
Good value, folds away nicely as well! I use it every day.
Excellent bike! I used the exercise bikes in the gym before lockdown, but this bike is really my favourite now. It’s comfy to sit on, the resistance settings are great, you feel stable. The 2 seating positions to choose from are a great feature, I call them “laid back” and “upright”, upright is if you’re cycling a bike, and laid back is a more seated position. It’s quiet too so you can easily watch tv while cycling. The resistance bands are great too! Work out the arms while cycling. And it’s easy to fold up and wheel away.
Very sturdy built bike. Seat very uncomfortable, excellent real time display. Shame about the peddle mechanism problem.
Great addition to the home gym , only gripes is the hardest setting isn’t that hard & the trip resets to 0 doesn’t store previous totals.
Very comfortable , little fiddly to set up . All n all a good piece of equipme
I love this bike, it’s really easy to use, folded away nicely in the corner of the room well. The seat is comfortable, and back support great when sat up, but still a little seat discomfort on longer cycles. Love the additional tension bands for an arm workout at the same time. And it was very easy to put together, HOWEVER, during assembly off of one of the fixings I got a huge metal splinter in my finger, which I almost had to go to the hospital to have removed. My warning to others to just be careful when assembling the product, maybe wear some gloves?
This exercise bike arrived just three days after placing the order and my husband assembled it without difficulty. I use it just about every day especially when the weather outside is not great. It’s easy to move around as it’s not too heavy and doesn’t take up a great deal of space. I find I can get a really good cardio workout whilst listening to music and it has transformed my exercise routine. It is excellent value for money and I’m delighted with my purchase.
Sturdy and stable, which gives the recipient confidence so they can get on and off the bike without feeling nervous. Has a useful rack to put a Kindle or tablet to read whilst exercising. We aren’t using it for Olympian fitness, just for a gentle workout to get the heart rate up a little and joints exercised, and it’s perfect for that. I can’t speak for its abilities under a lot more pressure but there’s no reason to think it can’t.
Arrived early went together ver easily. Bought for my wife as she wanted to lose weight. Can’t get her off it. She lives it. Good and sturdy works well. Recommend it.
Have noe been using this for over 1 week and i must give it full marks.
When I was looking for an excersise bike there was so much choice, came across this bike that had only 2 reviews but both were good,so i took a chance and ordered it.
It was a bit more than i had planed to spend but i am so glad i did. When you first open the box and read the instructions on building it yoy think it is going to be dfficult, but it is actually very simple and should take no more than 1 hour i manage this on my own.
Very good overall product,i did have a problem with one part of the bike and contacted the seller who sorted it out quickly and without question so 5 Stars for them also.
This bike is AMAZING, firstly it arrived a week earlier than expected which was greatly appeciated! Although there were many parts to put together the diagrams were clear enough to follow. It took about 30 mins to assemble. Using the bike is simple and the 10 resistance settings are perfect, it is very comfortable to sit on and the stats are very clear. Overall it was one of the best buys this year!
The best form of exercise for me due to lockdown, the bike is so simple to use, I’ve been using it for about ten days now legs feeling much stronger already. Time will tell if it lasts longer than me, I’m 70 had two heart attacks in the past.
Had been waiting for months to find a good foldable stationary bike but most were sold out or unavailable due to the coronavirus and how everyone must have had the same idea to get one. Since the gym closed, I really needed this. I kept checking and finally found this bike and took a chance on the two excellent reviews. It arrived in no time, was so happy! I highly recommend this seller. I was skeptical about the assembly as never done this before but my 16 year old girl helped and the instructions were so easy to understand and we had the bike assembled in less then an hour as we took a break and took our time. Very happy with the sturdiness and my girl uses it as well and is really pleased and does not take up too much space and easy to move with the wheels. It is also very quiet and the seat is wide and comfortable.
Bike arrived a week before it was due to – yay! It was simple to assemble and I enjoyed my first cardio intensive workout since lockdown. I didn’t realise this isn’t a spinning bike (so just worth noting you cannot stand up out of the saddle) but it’s still a great stationary bike!
Good bike, only design flaw is you can place your tablet using the lip on the screen, but it rests on the on/off button causing your session to constantly reset which is annoying.
Arrived a week earlier than expected. Easy and quick to assemble. Folds away to stand in a corner of a room and not be too intrusive. It’s not the most sophisticated exercise bike but it’s great for the price and is useful for the whole family as an easy way to get some exercise.
Was unsure whether to buy as there were no reviews but so glad I did. Exactly what I needed for cardio whilst gym is closed. Comfortable and screen is clear. Would have liked a little higher resistance but otherwise brillia
I was a bit sceptical when I ordered this because there were no reviews to go by. However, I wasn’t disappointed. It’s everything I wanted. I am 73 and in lockdown so needed to exercise. It came really quickly. My husband assembled it straightaway (which took a little while) but Hey, I was then ready to go. I have placed it in front of an open window to let air in, I can read a book if I should so wish, or watch TV.
I’m sorted! Thank you.
