I love it so much. I love the design, I’m not sure how long the fabric will last, it does feel cheap. I’d love a more premium version of this product.

I really liked this tent. It might be a bit like a tarp, it would take a bit of configuration to achieve a bungalow tent though.
It is easy to put up and easy to break down. I used four wood poles, found on the ground and, it was up in no time. I am usually a hammock or tarp wild camper but this now my preferred set up. Plenty of room for one person plus kit. Hooks inside for your lantern, headtorch, glasses etc. And a easy to use bug net. The vestibule is a great addition, put a small ground sheet under it and you have a lot of space.

I ordered this tent for when I go to music festivals.

Love the packaging, supplied inside carry bag. No waste or any poles required.

Easy set up just use attached guylines and stakes to secure to trees or use standard trekking poles. It is as easy to take down as it is to set up, this is perfect as I actually bring this tent home and not leave as a disposable.

Very light weight and easy to carry. Although design for 1 it is big enough to fit two large sleeping bags.

Great ventilations, has mesh door and bag window to keep tent cool even on hottest nights.

Great quality and easy wipe down clean.

Overall, this tent is more expensive than what I used to take to festivals but I took this tent home and will use at multiple events so works out great value for money in the long run with far less waste.

    I would recommend this product.

he weight was the first thing that attracted me to this tent 1.5kg is pretty good, and im always looking for something lighter for my bike. the tent is light, but the great weight saving is no poles, and adding a pair would put on around another Kg, which is a less attractive proposition.

The idea is that the tent is slung between two trees or improvised poles made with trekking poles or the like. Thats fine so long as calm weather is reasonably predictable.

The tent itself is reasonably well made of proofed nylon with mostly (but not entirely) taped seams. unusually the whole of one side lifts up to provide and awning (maybe) and a meshed tent side. on the otherside is a long mesh section the length of the tent and about a foot high, but only 2 inches off the ground. So ventilation looks great, the snag is if it rains, the mesh low on the sides is very vulnerable to water intrusion. the groundsheet is a slightly thicker version of the tent fabric so care should be taken to avoid punctures.

So this tent would be good for a night or two in a place without much likelihood of wind or rain, and where there is a good surface.to pitch, and where there are trees at convenient intervals around. if the weather is hot and dry, all that ventilation is a real positive benefit. another minor plus are that it comes with 6 beautifully made triangular section adonised aluminium pegs, and lots of sturdy guy lines

I think therefore this is for kids camping in the garden or a couple of nights somewhere undemanding this would be fine. At nearly 80 this is expensive say compared to well designed tents by the likes of decathlon whose well designed tents start at almost 1/3 of the price. Other major manufacturers (vango coleman etc) often offer well designed tents at considerably discounted prices.

This is a very lightweight tent, ideal for wild camping, when weight in your backpack is a key consideration. It does the job of a tent well, but also works well as a bivvi on a rainy day, with the front lifted up providing a waterproof day shelter.

As this tent doesn’t have poles, which makes it lighter to carry, you can’t erect it on an open site, unless you have walking poles with you to act as an anchor, which is what I’ve done in the attached photos. You an also anchor the tent on other objects, such as trees. So if you’re not using walking poles for the walking element of your wild camping, you will need ideally to camp under trees to set the tent up, so that could be limiting.

Overall this tent does the job well and I’m pleased with it. I’d also say that size wise it’s larger than some 2 person tents I’ve used, which again saves weight if you’re camping as a duo. 4 overall from me.

Lightweight and ideal for wild camping, though needs walking pole sor trees to erec

his is remarkably quick and simple to use and just the ticket for an inexpensive pop up for a festival-my kids used it as a storage tent last week along side their big tent so all great!

This is a good budget lightweight tent for woodland camping, Bushcraft camping , wild camping.

It’s quite a spacious shelter for one Man, I like that the door can be used as extra shade and shelter too if you hold it up with branches, poles or ridgeline.

This shelter needs poles or a ridgeline between trees or branches to set up , but it doesn’t take long to set up , it’s 3000hh Waterproof so should keep you nice and dry even in rainy weather.

If set up taut and correctly the shelter feels really sturdy even in windy conditions.

The colour means it blends in really well in pine forests with the brown bark of the trees and fallen brown pine needles, it’s a good option as a Bushcraft shelter when camping in woodland.

The pack size of the tent is small, the tent is also lightweight and easy to carry in your rucksack or bergen.

There is a mesh to keep the mosquitos out and with the door being so big you get se nice ventilation and breeze in the shelter too.

There’s plenty of room inside for one person and equipment.

It’s a budget tent at 80 only 72 with the voucher at time of writing, I think that’s OK for a 3000hh Waterproof shelter that is lightweight and easy to set up.

You will need poles or paracord to set this shelter up though

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI think this Geertop pyramid tent is really well designed. It’s a cross between a tent and a tarp, a hybrid if you like. Now it comes with no poles, just the tent, guy lines which you have to fit and decent ish quality pegs. For poles, you either use your walking poles, branches/sticks or trees, so if you like wild camping in forests this could be for you. If you like tarp camping but want a bit of a break from the bugs or more weather protection this could also be for you, or if your looking for a decent quality light weight single skin tent and use trekking poles this could also be for you. They’re trying to tick a lot of boxes with this tent, it’s well made, quality materials and well designed. You’ll find loads of video reviews online for this tent and it seems to be a very well liked product overall and I can see why. The front door which also doubles as a canopy is a great design thought, should the rain be coming down your not restricted to sitting in your tent, as long as you have extra poles or can locate some branches/sticks or are near trees you can guy out the front door and still admire the outdoors whilst others are tent bound. It’s also gives you somewhere to cook. But you will need a means of propping up the front canopy as your trekking poles will be needed for supporting the main body of the tent, unless you do that with a ridge line, for which you’ll need something to tie it to. You’ll also need some extra pegs as they don’t supply enough to utilise all the peg and guy points as well as the canopy which is a shame, all the video reviewers mention this as well. It has a large mesh vent running along the bottom of the back wall which is protected from the elements and a full mesh front door as well as the canopy, which is the outer front door. You can also have the front door zipped part way and then guyed out for more ventilation . Great design, that gives you lots of options for different types of wild camping trips.

Is it a tent or is it a trap, that is the question!

    GEERTOP 1 Person Backpacking Tent.
So what do i really feel about this particular tent?
Well i like it but at the end of the day its just a bit of a gimmick.
The tent can be quick and easy to put up its also one of the few tents sold for one person but with plenty of room which it has.
The problem is its just a glorified tarp with a bug net.
Not that thats a bad thing it works well enough and you do get a sense of multi use but not as much as you would get from using a tarp and bug net (see the problem ) and im one of thoes people who uses a tarp with my tent any way so i dont really gain anything.
In order to get the best from this tent you need to use 4 tie outs which mainly mens 4 poles (not included), you can use trees or ridge lines but that limits where you can camp so having 4 poles with at least 2 being hiking poles is for me the most sensible option but this adds to the overall weight and there is also a ground sheet to consider (as i never camp without one) when you factor in all of this it doesn’t seem all that special and becomes a bit of a novelty.
It does however look really cool and if this is your 1st tent im sure you will find it most suitable for all your camping needs but for thoes of use more experienced its nothing more than a bit of fun or change of scenery.
