In terms of portable/camping chairs, this is brilliant in my opinion! It folds and opens with ease – No weird contortion required. It’s super comfortable, has a cup holder on one side and a “magazine” holder on the other side that you can chuck your tablet in. It also has a nice easy to use and transport carry bag.
You do sink into the chair a fair bit, but it’s really comfortable as far as these chairs go!
Overall, I think this is a great premium camping chair and would recommend it!
The chair comes in a carry bag which makes it easier to cart around. The design is compact for what it is. Once I had unfolded it and sat it in for awhile I found it quite comfortable as it had some padding to it as well. There are two pockets that hang over the sides which are perfect for putting bits and pieces in for easy access. A cup holder would have been nice but apart from that it was good. I’m quite heavy and it stood up to the weight test too.
Easy to fold – little bit of a struggle getting back into bag – hopefully will get easier with use
Would definitely recommend

Unlike the links above this product is much more dense, heavier (albeit light enough) and all round larger in its folded position. For long walking excursions I know which I would pick to take with me though it must be said this product is stronger and comfier. Thrown in the boot of the car it can be enjoyed anywhere.
This get fit moon camping chair is very well built. It’s easy to fold / unfold and great for using when going camping, picnics, trips to the beach, fishing and more. The chair even when folded is bulky and weighty and takes a lot of space in my car boot. On the plus side, the chair is padded and provides comfortable seating for wherever I go. The quality of the chair is good and it is very robust. I like that it has a cup holder and a side storage pocket for books, magazines, or other small items for added convenience.
Crikey, this is the Chippendale of camping chairs. Very well built, nice and roomy and very stable on all but the lumpiest ground with the lumpiest sitter thanks to the steel construction and big feet. Even has pockets for your beer oops I mean vegan smoothies and books. It is a bit black but comfortable enough for a little doze or fireside chat and folds up easily into it’s less robust bag. Great for your outdoorsy adventures though.
This is nearer to the higher price bracket for a camping chair but it is of much higher build quality than the cheaper ones. It’s a little heavier if you’ll be carrying it far but if not then it’s good as a solid, sturdy companion. Should last many years if looked after. It’s also nice and comfortable with plenty of room.
I love these ‘moon’ camping chairs. The extra space makes them far more comfortable than ‘normal’ camping chairs and the extra weight and size is offset by the better support and sturdiness.
This chair is pretty good, but a little smaller than other chairs I’ve tried around the same price. It’s just as sturdy but I struggled to fold my legs under me which is one of the main reasons for me liking this type of chair. The metal frame feels like its in slightly the wrong place and pushes against your legs as you sit in it.
It’s perfectly comfortable and a really nice chair. It all folds out and away easily and, while big, it’s not as huge in its bag as some others. The trade-off is that it’s a tiny bit less comfortable and a bit smaller. In any event, it’s leaps and bounds better than the cheap ones you’ll find in service stations and lovely to use.
It’s well padded and well-made and should easily last years.
Amazing and very comfortable camping chair. I’ve used his for a few festivals and it’s so nice to sit in and even to sleep in. The only down side is its very heavy. So you don’t want to be dragging this far.
It’s super quick and easy to set up and the drink holder is the best and most secure I have seen on a foldable chair.
This is a great camping chair. Easy to assemble and the quality is great. Really comfortable to sit on. Feels really sturdy not at all flimsy. It’s easy to fold up again to. Pretty lightweight so easy for carrying around. Great value for money.
This is a robust and comfortable outdoor chair which will take those of us who are perhaps more chunky.
It’s easy to unfold, and once you’ve done it a couple of times, easy to fold. There is a carry case for it, but it’s not the lightest or smallest of chairs – though still lighter and smaller than our current ones (Vango Titan 2).
It is comfortable, but like many chairs, the metal rim will make its presence felt after a while.
At 65, it’s reasonably priced for the quality.
My pa is a keen fisherman. We often go off piers or the occasional boat. This chair is perfect for fishing the piers in the North East. It is expensive for a camping chair. I am aware of the price 65. But it is definitely a lot better quality than a chair you would pay 15 for. It opens well. A nice smooth action. Everything clicks into place and there you have it. A wonderfully comfortable chair appears and its really delightful to sit on. there is a good feeling about it. It doesn’t feel like you are going to fall through it at any moment. It is comfy, sturdy and it feels quite like you’re floating. A wonderful chair that made an excellent gift. It will be used a lot. Covered in rag worm and fish guts within a year. But it will be a great chair for all those times on the pier trying to catch a kipper or two.
This is by far the best camping chair I’ve seen. It’s not one of them ones that you see people fishing use its like an actual garden chair. It’s padded, it’s round and it’s so comfy you wouldn’t think it’s just a portable chair when unfolded. Unfolding this chair is so easy there’s just two handles that you pull and to put it away you just have to close them up. The legs of it are really sturdy and strong and feel durable, it will definitely hold a lot of weight. The material feels quite tough, its waterproof and comes with a decent bag that you can use to carry it with. Overall a fantastic chair, well worth the money.
Really impressed by the super comfortable fordable chair. It comes in a storage bag which is handy to carry around. The chair folds and unfolds easily and is one of the most sturdy foldable chairs I have used. Its form into a proper chair which can almost manage any adult’s weight.
The quality is good and the side pockets are quite handy to keep stuff especially if you want to use it for long. Like if I go to the local cricket ground to watch a match.
The material is very easy to wipe and clean and is waterproof as well.
All in all, a contemporary designed chair which is very comfortable, and easy to unfold and move around.
This is a very comfortable and spacious chair that offers a lot more room and comfort than your usual camping chair, great for relaxing in on an evening camping or in the garden.
The frame of the chair is very strong and sturdy , the chair is quite heavy and not as light and portable as your usual smaller camping chair but its still easy to pack down in the boot for family camping trips.
The material is padded and comfortable, it’s tough and well made and durable for the outdoors.
We have a lot of camping chairs , this is definitely one of our more luxurious chairs designed for sitting back and relaxing, it slouches back so back support isn’t the best unless you are sitting right back, it would make a good chair for sunbathing, chilling and relaxing on a nice day.
The extra width is great for taller and larger people for more hip room and you can move about much better in this chair , soke camping chairs are really narrow , this is very spacious.
Overall a really good camping chair for relaxing in , it’s not the lightest or most portable, but it gives you a lot more space, a good chair for relaxing and unwinding in.
Get Fit Moon Portable Camping Chair.
This is definitely well made, probably the most heavy duty folding chair I’ve ever sat in. The padding is nice and thick, the two side pockets are very useful. One pocket is suitable for drinks, the other is larger perfect for papers or a magazines. Regarding comfort, it isn’t as comfortable as it looks. Like all folding chairs of this design, the metal frame tends to dig into the backs of your legs. The benefit is of course the portability. The price at time of writing is 64.99, which is a considered purchased. However don’t confuse this chair with those you see at the petrol station or motorway services. It’s so much better than those!.
This chair is great value and I am really pleased with it.
The chair feels incredibly sturdy and well-built. It is comfortable to sit on and I like that it is padded. It does not recline and it is not so low that it becomes a struggle to get out of. Wide enough for your arms to be inside the chair sides, this is a chair you can relax in comfortably.
The pockets on the side are a handy feature, especially if you leave this chair out whilst camping. Wipe clean material, the seat feels durable for the outdoors. It doesn’t make you too hot, although it does depend on the weather!
Easy to fold and unfold, this is another appealing feature of this chair. Simply lift up the central bar and it collapses in on itself. The carry loop at the top of the chair is helpful to achieve this.
Putting in the travel bag is a bit cumbersome because the bag is so tight. The material of the bag doesn’t feel very thick and I would not be surprised if this frayed or ripped over time. Put the chair in legs first is essential because you then have the chair handle to use when removing from the bag — which is a case of peeling it down the chair and thereby turning the bag inside out. Shaking, jiggling and manipulating the material gets the chair back in the back but it isn’t a quick job. The carry handles on the bag are useful and it is not too big and cumbersome overall once it is folded down.
As a camping chair that feels durable, it is not too heavy but I wouldn’t carry this myself if I was loaded with other paraphernalia and the journey was lengthy. On the other hand, I think this would be a good candidate for the beach, especially as the feet have square pads at the bottom.
This is a chair that folds up well and it looks easy to store when not in use. Although the storage bag is on the tight side, I am really impressed with this high quality chair and think it will last a while.
We have two ALPHA CAMP camping chairs that we use in the garden during summer and I have to admit, they’re ever so slightly more comfortable than the Get Fit chair, but it’s close.
This one is still sturdy (it can hold up to 130kg while the ALPHA CAMP can hold up to 160kg) but it sits a little lower and the padding may be a little excessive, if anything. I assumed the padding would be like a hug for my bum but it didn’t cushion me in quite the right places, somehow.
It’s still great, and if we had nothing to compare it to I’d probably think the world of it but we already had an alternative that’s just slightly better.
It’s fold-awayable, though, and at 64.99 for a single chair, it’s a fair price, I think. It’s really very comfortable – you can happily spend hours in it so if you’re on the fence, it’s definitely worth a go.
Sturdy camping chair and oh so comfortable!
I would say this chair is a cut above – its very sturdy and substantial. Yet folds up compact.
The material is a good quality and feels much more luxurious than some of the thinner camping chair materials. Cup holder included!
All in all this is a 10/10 from me. Ticks all the boxes to make an excellent portable outside chair, perfect for beaches, camping even the garden!
We have struggled to get the kids out if it!!
I like to video products as I find them so I haven’t practiced this. This arrives in its own carry case but as you can see by the end of my video although it looks like that is never going back into its case it actually does. You have to stuff it in a bit but I’ve taken a photo of the after. I was actually impressed with how easy it was to open with no assembly to do at all. There is a cup holder on one side and a flatter pocket on the other side for your phone etc. Getting it back down was a little harder and some strength needed. All looked well stitched and very good quality. Light enough for easy movement but sturdy enough to be durable. There is a weight constriction of 120kgs/18 1/2 stones. Not suitable to stand on. I’m 5’7 so you can see where my head comes to so this is a chair to sit in and not to lay your head back onto. It was very comfortable so ideal for garden use too. I’m also a size 12 so you can get an idea of the size. Made in China. So I’m very happy to recommend and I hope my video helped
Is an incredibly easy to use foldout chairs and even has a little side pocket that you can use the cans or bottles into whilst you are drinking. It is really easy to fold in and out and comes in its own carry bag so we can be stored neatly away. It isn’t particularly lightweight but for me I would much rather the way it is as due to the solid structure it makes the seat incredibly comfy and supportive I have previously had very lightweight camping chairs and although functional Dave off and not being particularly pleasant to sit on for prolonged periods. Allows you to find a comfortable position around the fire and lounge out.
Super comfortable compared to some other folding chairs, this is well made and as a bigger person, this feels reliably able to take my weight. However this comfortable does come at the expense of the chairs footprint when folded down. However this is a small price to pay for a comfortable occasional chai
We just got this chair and is already being used. We don’t have a sofa yet, it’s on the way. So we have been sitting on camping and garden chairs. Recently the kids jumped in my while I was sat on my garden lounger and the chair legs bent so I haven’t had anything to sit on until this. It is extremely comfortable. It is very well made, excellent quality. I like the black colour. It has a cup holder which I really like. It’s very well padded and deep. When my 4 year old sits in it you can’t see her. If you’re looking at the chair from the back. She’s given it her seal of approval. A brilliant chair, excellent value for money. 100% recommend.
As I sit here in the garden on my new comfy chair I can’t help but think how much chairs have improved over the years. This one is pure bliss.
Comes in a bag for easy storage and carrying. Unfolds easily.
Then I sit in it and I don’t want to move. It’s so comfortable that I have moved my usual garden chair aside to sit in this. My bottom and back is padded nicely on this chair.
On one side there’s a pouch to hold a cup or a can. I drink out of an insulated cup in the garden and it fits nicely in. On the other side we have a larger pouch where we can put a book, phone etc.
Looks and feels well made. I can see me sitting in this quite a bit this summer.. love it:)
This is easy to fold/unfold, comfortable to sit in and robust.
It folds down into its own carry bag to make it easier to take with you, though it is still quite big when packed away and did take up a lot of space in my small cars boot, but it is pretty much an essential bit of camping kit so is worth the room it takes up.
It is good quality, comfortable and easy to work- everything you need in a camping chair.
