All in all extremely impressed with this Washer-Dryer. Drum Noise is almost silent until its doing a heavy spin. Most of the noise appears to be from vibration in where it’s situated, so may even be a bit quieter once I use the sticky muffling pads provided. Speaking of the drum, the size is huge compared to my old one, more than enough to accommodate the weekly wash of a small family, let alone me on my own!
Dryer also dries the capacity as it should, I half loaded the drum and it had no problems on the Smart Wash/Dry getting my bedding dried. The dryer itself isn’t too loud either, can barely hear it from the next room. The interior light for the drum is also very helpful in loading and unloading, especially in low light conditions.
The Cycles are all of variable lengths, and all settings like Temperature, Spin and Dry Time can be changed. It is also possible to completely customise a cycle to whatever you are washing so you can really get what you want out of a cycle.
My only complaint; the touch screen buttons. It can be a bit temperamental and fidgety. Might be my big sausage fingers but it always seems to lack any responsiveness without pressing hard on it. Would’ve been nice also to have had some functionality to connect it to WiFi and run cycles from an app like some other brands have, but that’s not a feature I’m overtly worried about.
All in all quite happy with buying!
Machine looks good and works well. Not noisy except when its running in SPIN-DRY mode.
I was afraid that the dryer function may not be good as in the past I have noticed that washer-dryers are not very effective and people still install a separate dryer. However, this machine does a very good job of drying clothes.
With 2 weeks of usage, as of now, I am happy with this product.
The dryer take to long and it’s not very efficient.
It has auto weight function , so depending on your load it corrects the time needed for drying. Machine itself is pretty quiet. You have quick connect hose to put straight into the drain, so no need of emptying water from dryer after every cycle. You have great shoe rack to use aswell!
* I have purchased the item in December. The delivery date was given and it did not arrive on that day. When item finally got delivered it arrived broken (it was something wrong with fan). It took some time for exhange to happen, I had to have an engineer out to take a look at the item before i could do a replacement order. Replacement order took over 2 weeks to arrrive (due to stock issues). After all item was exchanged and i am very pleased with it, but the whole process of doing it was not a great experience..

The energy efficiency of the washing machine is excellent, dryer is only an E rating. Noise levels are low, easy to use but trying to work out a more efficient program that doesn’t take 6 plus hours to wash and dry one load of laundry.
Was apprehensive on the washer drier thing. Space saved was the deciding factor plus the Black Friday price trigger.
Glad we bought the 10 kg version as it lives in a cupboard upstairs and it’s with plenty of space about it. It sits on one of those vibration mats, 6 from a diy place. Same as a normal washer no extra things to worry about. Drains washing and drying down the pipe. The lint tray seems to be around the door and this is then washed down the drain on next wash. The same little door on front for the penny trap. I’m not sure how it keeps the condenser clean as I was always cleaning out the wet lint from the condenser on my stand alone condenser tumble drier unit.
I drain the penny trap filter every couple of weeks after I’ve finished just to eliminate any smells. Never found a penny either.
Performance. The menus take some getting used to. I stick to cotton then select speed, 1400 presently, then temp 40-60 depending on clothes. That’s it, when finished I take out the stuff I don’t want tumbled then shake the other stuff about a bit, place in my woolen drying ball things and stick it on 1 hour. I also remove the powder tray when drying and have it removed when the machine is idle any how.
I notice that when I start the drying function the machine uses some water. The clothes come out dry enough it still get stuck on the airer over night. I don’t like drying things crispy. Cuts down upon moisture in the home until I can dry outside again.
I’ve used gel pods, powder, liquid all seem good. I’ve used soda crystals, white vinegar and dettol stuff, all seem good. I’ve used tumble dry sheet and those woolen ball things, all seems good.
I don’t use the fabric softer liquid stuff.
Noise. It is quiet. Washing is loudest when it’s getting up to 1400 rpm, once there it’s fairly quiet. Drying is very quiet. I keep the cupboard door shut on washing but not drying.
Finally, it does look nice but more importantly it washes well and saves space. Quieter than my old separate machines. Doesn’t seem as robust, with more to go wrong, as it does more jobs but time will tell.
If it lasts at this current performance then I’m very pleased.
If I could give it more stars I would. My one gripe is you cannot preset a favourites programme and it defaults to the manufacturers choice. Having said that is is very easy to use and so quiet I forget it is on…
This machine is ridiculously quiet. I bought it as a Which? Best Buy for efficiency etc. but I hadn’t anticipated how quiet it would be, which is my favourite feature.
It’s quite shallow, but with a larger drum to make up for it. Relatively simple to use with a combination of a dial and touch sensitive area.
It looks great too.
I can’t find any negatives so far, and I’ve been using it for a few months.
The washing has come out beautifully clean with less moisture than our previous one.
I haven’t tried the dryer as yet so can’t comment will just make sure I follow instructions, as this one offers more than my previous.
The big drum I like as it gives me the opportunity of doing a big wash instead of several which saves time and power.
Overall I am very pleased up to now only had it two weeks.
I would also like to complement on the two men who delivered and fitted. They were very friendly pleasant, respectful and did a great job, they also made sure the washer was working OK before leaving.
Great value for money. Very easy to use and it doesn’t make any noise. Clothes look amazing

So far so good. Has a quick wash for 15 minutes very handy. Easy to use once you get the hang of it. Looks very stylish.

Within the first year had to call 4 times for an engineer as the FD error kept showing, indicating a problem with the drying cycle. Sending it back and will be getting a Samsung instead. On a hood note the Haier customer service is very good, when I called they were very helpful. Also I did not have to beg or barter with Amazon for a refund and was easily helped by amazon to arrange a collection.

We have an open plan kitchen & living room, and after years of having to pause the TV and all sit unable to speak during the spin cycle we finally decided to try one of these super quiet machines. I’m not kidding, we all gathered around it in astonishment during the spin cycle the first time we used it. It was like a day out at the zoo . My daughter couldn’t believe it was even on.

It was quite noisy at the beginning, but after a few uses the noise level has gone down a lot and it is quieter now. I love it.
A big downside is the manual-it refers to lots of different models and functions and it is really poorly laid out and confusing to follow. I still haven’t figured out what all the machine does and how the steam function works but I think I will get there eventually given time.
Overall it is a great value machine.

Great machine but installers were not the best. Did not level the machine so vibrated violently when in spin mode, made some lame excuse about not wanting to fit the new water hose! Should have gone to AO.com as their installers are first class and was only 10 more…live and lea

It looks great, is so much bigger and quieter than my old machine and the 1400 spin means things come out much drier if you don’t want to tumble them. It washes brilliantly and although I’ve only used a couple of programmes so far it’s done really well. Looks very sleek in the kitchen and the light up drum is a great feature. If I had to make any suggestions it would only be that I would like the door hinges to allow for the door to go further back when opening but that’s simply because the area in front of my machine is narrow and the door sticking out is a slight pain. Highly recommend for the money

Seems quite daunting at first but once you read the instructions and get used to all the programmes it becomes easy to use and it is very quiet and stable.
I really like this machine, it’s quiet, it washes the clothes very well and has lots of settings like fast which takes about one hour and a 15 minute wash, which takes about a quarter of an hour. I find it dries a lot of clothes in quite a small amount of time which is really useful.
Make sure you level the machine before installing it, otherwise it makes a horrible noise when spinning, but once it’s levelled it’s really quiet and all round a very good washer dryer!
Controls easy to use and machine quiet during wash cycle. Can be a bit noisy during some spin cycles but remains stable and does not move. Our last machine tended to dance across the floor during spinning at regular intervals.
Machine super quiet, cleans amazing. Controls a little complex but slowly getting use to it. However the fitting service where meant to fit noise pads but chucked them down the back of machine. Did not level machine so it wobbled which can damage the drum if left like this. Had to level it myself
I would suggest to choose the installation option in the “service options”, I did not see the one fits me, so I chose standard, but it turned out the guys who delivered would not install it for me. (A total shock!) they just unpacked and removed the simple package (it did not come in the full box but plastic wrap and some pieces of protection). one of the guy was nice, he advised me to contact Amazon customer service and buy separate service, or I could order to return then re-order.
However, having contacted Amazon Customer Service, they did not have sufficient installation services. I had looked everywhere online and in the borough, not many options as Haier is not majorly within the service scope. So I decided to call Haier customer service to see if they could guide me or perhaps they have such services.
The lady at Haier customer service was very kind, who advised me that if I follow the steps on manual, I could also install it myself as she had done herself, she said “if I could do it, everyone could do it too, so not to worry, it is not hard”, I was happy, just worried if I would do something wrong. So having read manual repeatedly and went through youtube Haier videos, made it! I was quite proud of myself that it worked.
Having used it quite a few times in the first week, the washing noise level surprised me. It was quiet especially when it was spinning at the last stage. Previously living in house sharing, the washing machine shook quite bad and made noise when spinning. But this one is quiet.
Definitely recommended to purchase, however, it would be ideal to have 5 years warranty to be honest. Currently I think it is only 2 years.

I researched this item well, its a great machine washes clean, flexible programmes, not so quiet on the full speed setting but quick and bearable. Dryer works well and the time can be tailored to your needs. The one I ordered from Amazon had to be returned as the installers took out the bolts but left the iron transportation bars on the back which damages the drum when used. As a result the machine made an awful racket (there is an example video of the vibration and noise posted but the buyer thought it was the machine itself rattling) and actually turned itself off the couple times I tried it. When I realised the problem I sent it back and got one from elsewhere..those installers did take the back bars off but I had to explain to them what the noise reduction pads supplied were for! Note to Amazon and all suppliers – take time to train your installers – not every machine is the same!!!!
I researched this item well, its a great machine washes clean, flexible programmes, not so quiet on the full speed setting but quick and bearable. Dryer works well and the time can be tailored to your needs. The one I ordered from Amazon had to be returned as the installers took out the bolts but left the iron transportation bars on the back which damages the drum when used. As a result the machine made an awful racket (there is an example video of the vibration and noise posted but the buyer thought it was the machine itself rattling) and actually turned itself off the couple times I tried it. When I realised the problem I sent it back and got one from elsewhere..those installers did take the back bars off but I had to explain to them what the noise reduction pads supplied were for! Having now used this machine for a couple of months, I can say that I love it! I can’t however give it full marks as the touch screen can be difficult to use. It took ages for me to be able to switch the damned thing on when I first used it, and even now it can take a few goes. I can’t imagine any visitor will be able to use it if we’re away. But otherwise, a brilliant machine.
You have to remember that the wash weight is different to the dry weight, so yes, if you fill the drum to the brim and still expect it to dry you’re going to be waiting a very long time, as well as damaging your machine.
As I learnt from my previous washer dryer – never select “wash and dry” because things never come out dry. I always select a wash cycle and program a dry to start straight after. The cycle is considerably quicker than my previous machine despite having a larger capacity. I can do a full wash and dry in 4 hours, my last machine took 5 and a half!
I love the touch screen, makes the machine feel so high tech! And the light inside the drum; of all the unnecessary features I never knew I wanted, this is it.
Yes, this really is as quiet as it claims! My last machine was so loud and violent that I caught it trying to run a marathon in my kitchen on several occasions and there was no way I could put a last minute load in at night ready for the morning without it waking people. I barely hear this washer dryer. I don’t need to close the kitchen door anymore just to hear what I’m thinking in a different room.
The settings in my opinion are very straight forward. I double checked the instructions just to be sure but everything was self explanatory.
I’ve had this less than a week and so far it has been a god send! And it comes with a 2 year warranty so even if something does go wrong Haier will cover it.
So far, I highly recommend this.

I purchased this as it was described as ultra-quiet and as I stated at the start of my review it does not disappoint. We needed a quiet washer/dryer as our dog barked at our old machine when it changed cycle and we have an open plan house following our recent re-model – This washer/dryer is quieter than our Kettle. I have only had a just over a week so I have not really had the opportunity to use many of the cycles yet but I can confirm that the quick 15 minute wash is excellent and the dryer dried our clothes at the first attempt, something my previous washer/dryer was not able to do.
In summary, I am happy with this washer dryer. There are plenty of washing options. The timings for the options are pre-set but you can easily change them. Another important factor is that the dryer is really good with three drying options. The auto weigh function and the fact that it can automatically adjust the timing just work so well. The machine is so very quiet! It also looks great. Absolutely no negatives, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The best washer/dryer I have ever owned!
I’m loving how energy efficient this is, it makes me want to use it over and over again and it doesn’t make me feel guilty using the dryer over putting the washing out!
The large capacity of 12kg is amazing, I can fit so much in the drum it saves me having to do as many washes a week plus it’s perfect for duvets and larger items too.
There are lots of settings so it’s great for many materials and on a couple of them you can manually change the spins, rinses, temperatures etc. There are 3 different drying options which I’m still playing around with-so far i’m enjoying the options and seeing the different results.
The machine is so quiet, it’s a godsend! My washing machine was quite noisy but I often don’t even know this is really on because it is just a soft background noise.
It looks modern and the lights are actually one of my favourite features as is the steam function, I’m looking forward to testing that out on stains! The LED lights are so snazzy and the light inside the drum makes loading and unloading so much easier, especially when I have to find something to take it out etc.
I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, not just large households. Just remember to take the transportations bolts out of the back before using it like I didn’t!!!!
You won’t be disappointed-i’m showing my age here but it’s my best purchase so far this year!!!
