The driver was very friendly and helpful the items were very good value for money and the birds will love them
Packaging in a number of smaller bags suits me.
The seed seems to have the bird’s approval.
Popular feed with all garden birds and neat idea coming in 4x3kg bags
It is a heavy parcel with four bags of bird feeds inside. So it is a good value as the food can last quite long time. The food looks good and neat. The birds in my garden like the food as same as the food before. The food is for all year round so it should help the birds which visit in winter.
A good quantity of feed at a fair price in manageable sized bags.
Order came as described, wild birds seem to be enjoying the seed
This pack of mixed seed for birds are good , like the mixture they have picked and is safe to eat from different species .
There are 4 pack x 3.2kg each one that is a big pack and will last me a long time.
I have uesd it for the birds that come to my garden and they seem happy with it always looking for more.
Price was a bit pri at 19 but would buy again maybe
Buying in bulk allows you to save due to the economies of scale. Having four 3.2 KG bags of bird seed may be a little too much for some households so make sure you have a secure location for it all away from any prying rodents. The four bags come in a box, and you could buy the set between four friends or neighbours. Each bag is your typical bird seed, and it went down well, especially with the smaller common garden birds.
The price is decent, but you can get this amount a little cheaper. The benefit may be the fact that it is not one cumbersome single bag, but several that you can store the unopen ones for a while. If you do buy this feed, you and the birds are unlikely to be disappointed.
This feed is excellent for birds like swans and ducks, but also seems to appeal to smaller garden birds, including tits and starlings. Hens seem to like it too. The grains are fairly fine, and will flow out of some bird feeders with larger apertures, but, in general, there seems to be a good mix of seed types. Parrots didn’t like it much, but it is aimed at domestic wild species.
The price is a little steep, but it does seem to be a good product.
These come as four bags and are pretty heavy as the Amazon box they were delivered in was completely split apart by the time it arrived at my house. I think this is a really good way of getting bird seed delivered and it’s a most cost effective way of buying it. We have had nuts in our feeder but it was causing chaos in the garden with the squirrels fighting off the magpies and the pigeons let alone the smaller birds! So we have changed to seeds with the smaller birds on the Deere itself and the pigeons wait underneath to pick up all the spills! They seem to love the seed considering the amount of times we are having to refill our feeders at the moment. Really pleased with this bulk buy.
Wow i didnt realise how much there was x4 3.2kg bags – Great if you have the space to store them= Heavy package.
100% natural mixed seed.
I have emptied a pack into a food container to make it easier to get out with out mess.
Its going down very well with the larger birds so far – pigeons and magpies, also the squirrels are loving the sunflower seeds, i think i have put it too close to the house for the smaller birds so may need to find somewhere further down garden.
When this arrived I discovered that there was 4 bags of seed. There is several types of seed included that is ideal for all the birds in the garden. The bags are pretty heavy to carry but if stored somewhere dry in the garage they would be fine. I have to say though we must have fussy birds where I live because since filling the seed feeder up they’ve not really eaten it. Perhaps they just don’t feel like seed at the minute.
Due to the amount you get I think value is reasonable but I’m just hoping the birds are less fussy and do start eating it.
Really good value box of bird seed. The box comes with 4 individually wrapped bags of bird seed which makes it easy to keep fresh when storing. The bags are a good size. Most importantly the birds love it and the bird seeder is empty within hours.
We seem to go through a lot of bird seed and its quite hard to buy enough to keep them all happy. I thought I would try this pack of bird seed which includes 4 3.2kg bags and they all come in one large box.
The seed itself is a mix for a wide range of wild birds in the UK and i often see Blue tits, Great tits, house sparrows, gold finches and if i’m lucky the greater spotted woodpecker comes for a look. I can often tell the quality of seed from the amount the drop on the floor as they often drop lower quality seeds.
At just under 19 it’s not cheap but when I factor in the cost of travelling to a store and this is much better quality so overall it’s pretty good value for money.
This seed mix has been very popular with the birds in my garden!
They have eaten loads of it already so this big bag is very handy!
It is easy to pour into my feeders.
The size of it means it is good value for money.
The fact that the birds didn’t like what looked like wheat!
I am lucky enough to live in a rural area and have a large garden (larger than I would like really!). I love watching birds and am always happy to keep the feeders filled up. I have around half a dozen dotted around the garden so keeping them filled is a big job. This bumper pack of four 3.2 kg bags (so 12.8kg in all) is clearly good quality seed. It looks clean and fresh and there is no “musty” smell which some feeds can have if they have been stored too long. Four individual bags is great as it makes them much easier to handle than a single 12.8kg bag/sack. And also reduces the chances of rodents trying to get into the bags as they can be easily stored in plastic tubs (which is what I do).
The birds love the seed. I filled the feeders three days ago and some of them will need refilling shortly. It is a busy time for birds so not surprising that they are gorging themselves.
Realtively expensive at 18.99 at the time of this review but a good product in a convenient format.
Got tits…in yer garden? Need to feed them?
This is the Harvest Wild Wild Bird Seed Mix 3.2kg x 4 Bags.
This bird seed is decent, and is cheaper than my usual brand. It’s contents are wheat, kibbles maize, black sunflower seeds, red dari and millet.
The mix has something for just about every bird, the bigger ones will love the wheat and the sunflower seeds, the smaller ones millet and maize.
I mixed this with usual brand and you can’t tell any difference. Winner.
Overall I’d recommend this wild bird seed, as its cheaper than most and much the same seed mix.
I have a number of bird tables and feeders in my garden, when this arrived I was amazed with how much bird seed you actually get, 3.2kgx4.
I filled a number of my feeders up and placed a good amount on the ground, soon after there was flocks of all different birds pecking away enjoying there lunch.
Overall the quality seems great and if the birds are happy so am I.
I didn’t quite clock that this was four bags of seed when ordering so I was amazed to get almost 13kg of seed for this price (although I think the price has been raised since ordering – although it’s still great value). Bird feeders are now full to the brim and I shall look forward to working my way though it over the coming decades.
Over 12kg of birdseed for a really good price. It doesn’t look like a lot in the pictures but there are 4 heavy bags delivered and it’ll last the birds ages.
Lots of people think you don’t need to feed them through the warmer months but with bugs etc on the decline, every bit of food can help them out.
Reasonably priced for how much you get, just make sure you have somewhere to store them!
The following is a review of the Harvest Wild Bird Seed Mix. It comes as described in four handy size bags – 4 x 3.2kg so quite easy to store as opposed to the usual large bag we buy. We usually store it a plastic ‘flip top’ kitchen rubbish bin we bought for the job, so we find that three bags of this mixture fit in quite nicely and handy to scoop out from. It’s quoted as being no mess, high energy seed for all seasons bird feed for song birds: Finches, Robins and Blue Tits etc – plus the occasional doves seem to be partial to it as well – as so far our featured friends seem to be devouring it very nicely, so I speak on their behalf to say ‘it’s bit of alright’. So far we have not had any banging of beaks on the kitchen windows to say ‘what going on ‘ere then?!’ so all is well!
It’s very good to put feed out for birds, great for nature, the environment, and there’s nothing nicer than seeing and hearing plenty of wildlife in the garden.
This is a really good quality bird seed, perfect for all wild birds. It’s very handy being in smaller bags, as opposed to how some similar products are in one large bag, which makes it more difficult to store and manage. The bags are quite thick, which is good, so won’t split. It’s easy to cut at the top to open. I then poured into a plastic tup with a lid (which is a perfect size for one bag), ready to fill feeders!
All in all, a good product, good strong packaging, easy to handle / manage, and good all-round value. Recommended.
I hope that you have found this helpful.
This went down really well with the robins and finches living in my garden.. and I even have two wood pigeons hunting around the ground under the feeders most of the day hoping for some dropped morsels.
Comes is small easy to manage bags, makes storage easier then it coming in one large bag.
I must confess that I usually feed the birds one thing from the local pet shop. Thus, I’m not sure if this mix is amazing value or not. What I do know is that the I love feeding and watching do seem to like this and that’s what matters.
As much as I would have preferred packaging that’s clearly marked as recyclable, this being in 4 smaller bags is helpful in terms of storage.
I didn’t realise how much would these 4 bags look like. I was pleasantly surprised today when they were delivered in a torn Amazon box, understandably box couldn’t bear the weight of 12 kilo of weight that too of loose grains/seeds.
The content of the bags is made of various types of seeds and grains, as you can make out from the pics. I have filled two bird feeds with them and already I have seen few doves snacking on them .. :). As it says on Amazon, whatever I accidently scattered on the garden floor while filling the feeders, were picked up by the birds. I think these 4 bags would go on for 3-4 months and price too is pretty good at 16.99 for 4 bags.
I’m not sure what I was expecting when I ordered this but it’s a LOT of bird seed.
The individual bags are very big (3.2kg) and there are 4 of them. There were so many, the box it was delivered in had burst open!!!
It’s good value at that quantity and seems like good quality seed as well.
It’s a good idea that it’s split into packs because it will ensure that it lasts and doesn’t spoil too quickly,.
This is a versatile mix that can be fed from hanging or ground feeders, but I personally would not spread this directly on the ground as seeds are likely to germinate and grow into the things they would normally grow into – you don’t want wheat growing in your garden! There are few sunflower seeds in the mix, however they are not the hearts, but the whole seed and you are likely to find the birds will remove the husk and leave that behind for you to clear up.
I put some out in a hanging feeder which is above an area that can easily be swept if needed. It is directly opposite a nest of sparrows and has already attracted the parents as they frantically try to find enough food for the chicks. It seems to be going down well as the feeder had gone down considerably in a short time. Limited mess underneath at the moment, but perhaps the Blackbirds are helping out.
