Very efficient and fills up quickly which is why it’s nice to have the hose hookup in the back! Dried our basement out while we were drylocking

This does an amazing job in my basement. My house was built in 1953 and it keeps my basement dry and smelling clean.
We have this in our basement garage. So far it has worked well keeping it dry! We can’t hear it from upstairs which is a plus. Has different color lights you can choose or a “nightlight”. Since it’s in our basement we don’t use that feature but it is cool!

As mentioned this equipment tremendously improved the air quality of my home. No more stickiness of the Texas weather within my home. Therefore, limited chances of mold thriving in my house. Second picture is the air quality monitor of my home and as you can see it works.
Clear digital display, easy to use. Extremely effective. Actually removes a notable amount of water in tank daily. Unlike others I’ve used which barely bring down the moisture % in the room after days of use. This one is strong, has less noise, and pulls more moisture in first day use. Three days with another similar size only lowered 2%. In a few hours use, this one lowered about 11% and put around two liters in the tank. Auto shut off or continuous drain hose.
I bought this for my basement it is a compact dehumidifier but does the job as well as a big expensive one. It is very efficient and very low noise level. You won’t be disappointed!
The bucket the water is collected in is small. When I first started using it I was emptying it at least once a day but now it is every 1-2 days.
I use this in my ground level living space and it helps my air feel crisp and clean. (My duplex is on a concrete slab)

The hose attachment is small and the drain would have to be on the ground or the dehumidifier would need to sit on the same level as the sink or drain it dumped into.

We are using this for a couple of rooms with that have a musty smell. Running this dehumidifier I’m finding so much water. I’m so glad we found this dehumidifier. I’m hoping it will prevent mold growth. We are finding that it works great and we are able to remove the water in the air before it caused damage.

We got this dehumidifier for our basement garage that had so much moisture on the walls and ceilings that it would occasionally drip on us and causing numerous tools and equipment to rust! Adding this dehumidifier has solved all of these issues! Easy to maneuver around the garage to avoid it from being in the way yet small enough to eventually mount on the wall and join into a drain hose to eliminate the water collected! Totally recommend for all!
When searching online for the models, you’ll only find the PD09A-16 on Amazon. The PD09A-12 is can be found on the web.

I am very thankful to have bought this humidifier for my 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment! I live on the Ohio River in the Ohio Valley part of Kentucky. I recently moved into my new home, which is ground level & was experiencing severe mold growth problems in the kitchen area. Maintenance abated the growth & was offered a dehumidifier; what they gave me was too large, too noisy & in the way of foot traffic. So I decided to purchase my own & so glad I did!! Its compact with roller wheels, easy to use, the digital numbers are large to read on the display & most of all QUIET! It barely sounds like a gentle whitenoise; which helps me sleep. I’m handicapped & its so easy to use & dump the accumulated water. I recommend for small space living.
This is the 3rd dehumidifier in our RV. Living in SC, it’s a bit humid. This one fits nicely under a counter and pulls tons of water out of the air. Makes the air feel better and the AC works better.
I’ve had this unit about 2 weeks and so far so good. I bought it to put in a damp basement It’s smaller and much quieter than the old unit it replaced. Set up was easy and it came with a drain hose which was easy to use. My old dehumidifier did not. Overall I am happy with its performance and would buy it agai

This great compact dehumidifier is relatively light, very easy to roll around, and easy to set up. I placed ours near a floor drain, and used the included hose to drain directly there. It is both quiet and effective!
I have bought two of these dehumidifiers a smaller one for upstairs and the large one for downstairs, I have a creel in my kitchen for clothes drying and it dries them a treat and also keeps the damp away, I would definitely recommend buying one of these as the cost of living increases as it’s so economical and my dryer is redundant now thankfully as it cost a bomb to use and it’s only get worse, highly recommended
I was having issues with high humidity in my basement. I purchased this dehumidifier, and the results were immediately resolved The humidity levels went from 70 to 50 overnight.
I have had this unit running non stop since Sept 2021 in 250 year old cottage. It is now May 2022, and so far, so good. It has been continuously draining into my washing machine drain, and has kept the humidity down to between 48 and 60 percent at all times. The cottage is a rental, and I monitor the R/H via my nest thermostat from across the pond
If you have a particularly humid room or space in your home or flat, especially a space that doesn’t get much fresh air flow (basement, garage, etc), then this 4.5L capacity dehumidifier with humidity level balancing, auto on/off, easy emptying, touchscreen controls and other handy features is an excellent way of riding a room of excess moisture!
The dehumidifier itself is obviously a lot larger than a lot of dehumidifiers, but that’s because of the huge water collection capability*, and because of its cuboid shape and wheels, it is still super easy to simply place in a corner, in a hallway or under your window, etc, without needing to shift everything around (a lot of older dehumidifiers are both large and awkwardly shaped).
*The 4.5 litre tank capacity and huge 22L/day dehumidifying ability is plenty to suck in and store several days-worth of moisture in an extremely humid space, or more likely weeks to months worth in most rooms.
If the dehumidifier is not having to work its mechanical butt off, then it’ll not only easily last a long time before needing to be emptied, but emptying can be done in literally a matter of seconds, so this unit really is something that can work 24/7 with potentially 30 seconds of ‘maintenence’/upkeep (emptying) every so often.
So all in all, this easy to use 4.5L dehumidifier is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a semi-permanent solution to reduce humidity/moisture in a room/space; the extra features and settings (auto on/off, etc), manoeuvrability and easy emptying make for such a hassle-free experience.
So provided you’re willing to pay for such features, it’s certainly good value for money compared to buying endless single-use dehumidifying options!
Exactly what I needed, takes all the excess moisture out of the air, has some noise but not distracting, can’t hear it above the TV. It has a drying function, clothes dry in two hours. I have it working for about hour in the morning qhen I wake up and about 30 minutes in evening and it has really made a massive difference, I had an actual smel of damp and some mould and now it has all gone. Would highly recommend this.

OMG if you are looking to dry clothes over night- get this it does a fantastic job. We put a load from the washing machine on the airer put the dehumidifier on closed the room door next day dry and smells fresh

Really pleased with this machine. Solid build, easy to use. Not too noisy. Certainly takes water out of the rooms. Very good when drying clothes indoors. Like the design. A bit heavy though.
I had a damp problem that was rapidly building up so bought the humidifier, it quickly went down to normal, now running it to draw the damp out of the walls and furniture. My doors now fit nicely and the bulge in the floor has settled down again.
I run it 24 hours a day and it is so quiet you do not know it is on.
Got this as we have a problem with damp wallshad this running since we got it about 2 weeks ago and its made a huge difference, the damp tester isn’t off the scale anymore..I’m really impressed with it..it’s small enough to be discreet and on wheels so easy to move..it isn’t noisy, but as it’s in the living room it can get annoying when you’re watching the tv, I gave it 5
A bucket of water every day it is almost impossible to believe but it is true
At first I wasn’t sure it was working as I left it running a few hours and nothing happened, but after a while the water started to trickle into the tank. Now when I turn it on it starts working right away.
The difference it made to my asthma was actually pretty amazing. From the very first night I used it, I had no trouble sleeping at all, didn’t wake up at 4am needing my inhaler as I used to. I left it running all night and although it is relatively noisy, I was able to sleep with it in the hallway. I’ve had it for about 4 weeks now and run it pretty much continually. I can immediately tell if I’ve forgotten to empty it and it’s turned itself off and let the humidity creep back up, as the tightness comes back in my chest and I start wheezing again.
The tank holds about a litre of water and I was surprised how fast it filled up. This is in the UK with very typical British indoor humidity levels of 70%-80% and outdoor humidity levels of 85% plus. The UK is one of the most humid countries in the world, so there is certainly no shortage of humidity for it to work on! If I empty it at around 6pm, set the humidity target to 45% and leave it running on “low” all night, I can expect the tank to be full by about 8am the next morning.
I live in a fairly normal-sized, 3 bedroom semi-detached 1960s house with bad ventilation, gas-fired central heating and no air conditioning, which is pretty normal for England. This single unit was all I needed to bring the average humidity down to between 45% and 55% throughout the entire house, down from the high 70s. Having it upstairs works really well. Having it downstairs does the bottom floor, but since humid air rises the top floor stays very humid.
It automatically shuts off when the tank is full, and you can take the tank out and empty it, whack it back in and it will start working again without having to press anything. Similarly, if you unplug it while running then plug it back in again, it will keep working. So that is ideal if you want to use it with a smart plug so you can turn it on and off with Alexa.
There is a drainage pipe included so you can have it drain into a sink etc, but be aware that the drainage pipe can’t be higher than the middle of the unit. I’ve not tried the drainage pipe yet but I’m planning to shove it up in the loft and have it drain into the bathroom sink at some point, when I get around to it. For now, manually emptying the tank every day or so is not too much of a bother.
The controls are simple and I appreciate the large humidity level display which is very clear and easy to read.
This dehumidifier has two options for collection of the dehumidified water, an internal collection of around 2 litres, and/or a gravity drainage system, for large amounts, to yourown collection container, the top of which must be below the dehumidifiers outlet (if not the water will automatically be diverted to the machines internal container, and will switch off, when that is filled). I experienced a problem with the gravity drainage system, and when Hogarlabs were unable to resolve this for me by e-mail, they dispatched a replacement, arriving within 48 hours, which I consider impressive. First class aftersales service!!
It collected large amounts of water over a short period of time, and dried out the room, in which we had had a faulty boiler discharging water over a onsiderable time in the kichen of our empty holiday let in just a few days

I was sceptical when ordering this dehumifer but I’m amazed how brilliant it is .I was having problems with one wall that always damp,it has almost dried out the wall in 3 days ,ive emptied it about 3 times a day,which I’m not really surprised as you could see how bad the damp was .I would highly recommend it and I would of given it 10 stars if I could ,its very powerful and certainly does what it’s supposed to .Although quite heavy it’s very easy to move around on the casters,it’s not to loud just sounds like a fan ,display is easy to use.You do need to leave it unplugged for 24 hours when you first get it to let the oil settle once its out the box .I just wish I’d taken photos before so I could of shown the difference .

Tried it to dry some laundry, set it in motion and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it worked.
Works well, it is only possible to set it to come on once. You cannot set it to turn off after x hours or to repeat daily for example. Otherwise good quality and well made produc
Astoundingly good at keeping the moisture level at minimum in our caf, no more wet windows. On busy days I’ve emptied the tank twice (we have the 16 ltr version) maybe we should have opted for the larger tank size.

This collected alot of water in the first week of using it it is a little noisy but so is a fan I do find it heavy for carrying up and down the stairs but moves freely on the floor thanks to it’s wheels
We’ve only had our dehumidifier a few days, but have run it almost continuously in our piano room, where it has been valiantly sucking moisture out of the air. The humidity there has dropped steadily during this time, with much water extracted from the catchment bucket, The digital display is nice, and give a quick readout, but beware that relative humidity is strongly temperature dependent. I don’t think one would want to operate this in small spaces – it needs to draw in air from a side panel, and then creates a strong updraft. If that works for you, then you’re OK. The machine makes a fan noise, like a fan heater but considerably less, so is not completely silent. So far – very pleased, let’s see if it lasts.

This is a wonderful product that collects a serious amount of moisture in my bedroom. It’s amazing how quickly clothes dry in the same room when this is switched on.
Definitely worth the money I paid, it’s very easy to empty and saves a lot of money on having to buy those overpriced damp pot that are rubbish in my opinion.

Used one to test it since purchased. Brilliant, easily moved about if need, easy to empty the water reservoir. Very low noise. I put it on dry clothes, noise levels did increase which would be normal as it blows more air out. Bought it for the damper winter months. I am sure this will be of great use.

This is a great dehumidifier and I’m really pleased with it after having several bad experiences with other brands. Firstly – the dehumidifier is really quiet! which is a massive bonus as you can hardly notice that is there. Furthermore, after struggling with dampness in our washroom, I can now say the room is fully damp & moisture free thanks to this amazing machine. Can’t recommend this enough.
Absolutely amazing, I must say this dehumidifier really looks cool and modern, and also it works and removes a lot of humidity too :), it is also easy to operate, you can set desired humidity level to automatically switch off and on. Have not tried yet the dry clothes mode but it seems like a very good future when leaving in a flat and all washing is dried indoors.
The dehumidifier is easy enough to setup and the main controls for it are on the top of the machine. It works really well for our use and I actually use it to dry our clothes much faster than leaving it outside. There is a large enough tank for draining the water and it will alert you once this is full. There is a timer setting built into this as well if you don’t want to be running for hours and hours all day. There are wheels built into the bottom of this so It is actually really easy to move it around too.
he dehumidifier is very good, there are 2 speeds-fast and slow, 2 modes- dry and dehumidify and u can set the level of humidity you want, it also has an on and off light switch . normally i just use it to dehumidify the room usually during the night and it came to surprise on how much water was collected after a nights sleep. its pretty quiet as well. im pretty happy with i
i needed the a dehumidifier because of the constant rain plus lack of rain and accumulation of my clothes as i don’t have a dryer. so i decide to get this because of two reason, one is for the clothes drying mode for indoor clothes drying. the second reason is because of my dusty and moisty room.
it works really well, it does help clothes dry but ofc not as effective as hanging them outside in the sun and when i use them in my room i was surprised how good i felt in the morning when my nose isnt blocked. its also very quiet and i was surprised on how much water it collected just after a night.
overall really happy with it.
So got the most powerful and the biggest one, 22l model which handles the job perfectly.
It has large display and user friendly menu, speed can be changed depending from the circumstances.
On back it has water collector which can collect upto 4.5 litres and when it’s full it stops automatically, there also constant flow option also available if there hole, can be put straight pipe so it can work without interruption.
Humidity level can be set up to right for personal needs , it can be dropped upto 35 humidity. Once it reached that target it stops automatically and kicks back again if humidity level go above that number.

The wall of my house is mouldy in winter, and some water on my window, so I bought this dehumidifier, try to improve this problem. It seems useful, no water on the window, and I will turn this dehumidifier when my clothes is putting over heating for drying. It’s very useful especially in winter. The only one problem is that the dehumidifier have some noise, this is my first time to use dehumidifier, I don’t know how about other dehumidifier.
