Assembly required viewing a fast moving video of someone assembling. No instructions included with the product but it was simple enough really. A note arrives with the bench saying that instructions are sent by email and also in the message centre in Amazon (They’re not, so don’t waste time trying to find them). But as mentioned it’s just a video which is in the photos area on the main product page. You have to watch it a few times, and on a smart phone screen it’s a bit small to see the detail. I would recommend a power tool as winding the securing screws in by hand is hard work. They’re great benches, really good quality pressure treated wood with 15 year lifespan. We ordered Rustic Brown, but have received more of a pale pine effect for some reason, but we’re not bothered as they can have wood treatment applied if you want to change the colour. I give top marks to the person who packed them, they’re quite heavy and an easy target to become damaged by a time strapped courier. They were cocooned in loads of bubble wrap and fragile tape which ensured they arrived perfectly.
Arrived yesterday. Looks ok, but there aren’t enough pre drilled holes so have to wait for someone to help. As we are in lockdown that’s a problem.
Love the wood and the natural colour first in well in the garden looks great – some benches look too standard, all the same but this is ageless, fits in well
Good sturdy bench took a while to arrive but worth the wait.
I bought this for my Mum’s 60th birthday. She’s been wanting a bench like this for ages. It came really quick (considering COVID) and she loved it. The cats have even adopted it as a perch.
Really well made, great quality and great finish.
Came in 5 pieces with bolts and covers for the bolt heads. Robust looking piece of outdoor furniture, appropriately finished, no splinters. Easier to assemble with 2 people, although my wife managed it by herself. Very pleased with the product. Delivery was later than initially indicated, (c-19 time) but we were kept informed and it arrived on the amended date.
The product was delivered within the given timescales. The instructions for construction were easy and straightforward. My husband is really pleased with this bench.
I have recently bought a Hollies Garden Table and was very pleased with it, so decided to buy a matching bench. As before, I was impressed with the quality and look of this garden furniture.
