First off the delivery company gave a two hour slot, then phoned 10 mins down the road. Brought it into our kitchen where we requested it to be placed.
Absolutely amazing delivery service. A*** well done lads.
Machine looks s.e.x.y.

Easy to set up and install.
Packaged well.
Very impressed with the kg load change and all the extra wash cycles on the app.
Very happy house hold. Thank you.
We tried all the other well known distributors of washing machines but, alas, as we needed a next day delivery and collection, only Amazon could offer this. Disappointed that Amazon do not offer collection and delivery only, i.e. no installation. With all 3 options the add-on price is quite expensive when the other distributors virtually give this free albeit we needed to wait. However, overall the Amazon service was excellent. The black washing machine is beautiful as it compliments the black grantie worktops in our Laundry room. The machine is very quiet and easy to use. The washing comes out virtually dry and smelling wonderful. Very happy indeed with this purchase!
I’ve been very spoilt and had a 15kg top loader for the last 18 years. It finally died so I ordered the hisense 12kg after much deliberation. It seems there’s not many that do a full wash in under an hour (my top loader was 40 minutes ) cut a long story short it didn’t have any options that suited me. Finally found that this hoover machine did a full wash in 58 minutes . It’s works from WiFi too so of you download the app there’s tons of other wash cycles. It’s got a quick was in 14 minutes if you just want to wash something very quickly, and I’ve found one in 44 minutes. It’s got a large drum so you can wash big loads
does everything and more
ideal if you are a techie as it has a WiFi function so you can programme the machine (as long as it is loaded with clothes, detergent and softener) wherever you are.
I have a very tech house and everything is connected via Alexa and this is just another gadget to add to the network.
It’s big enough to wash superking duvets and larger loads, very quiet and energy efficient. Items come out much drier than they did in my old machine.
Just love this machine
This washing machine is great for getting through the mounds of washing. Many options. I haven’t tried the wifi yet but the dials are straightforward. My only issue was delivery, I couldn’t get it delivered to my home or any neighbours so had to collect from my sisters house. It was much later than originally agreed. Howevert I’m so happy with the washing machine that I really don’t care, great value and great product.
Paid for service for Amazon to install the washing machine. When I used the washer for the first time the water wouldn’t drain away so had to call them back out (after the bank holiday weekend) . Turns out that someone didn’t install the drain pipe correctly in the first place. Anyway, all working now as it should. The washer is very quiet. I’d recommend buying this model. You can fit tons of washing in and aesthetically it looks beautiful.
Well first time I have purchased a Hotpoint product, normally go for a more expensive brand, but after a lot of research I took a chance with the machine in question, it must be the most easiest machine I have come across in plain common sense to operate, but the build quality is superb to cost, it makes me wonder if the brand which I think is now Chinese owned is the reason, I find the Chinese are now on par with top German and Korean brands and you can see why the American and Europe fear the Chinese in technology, they simply want to be market leaders.
I live with 5 gargantuan teenagers and have now nicknamed this washer, ^The Beast.^ In a tsunami of brilliance, it devoured my washing in less than half the time it took my old washer and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the 1400 spin is still effective even with a full cotton load.
The running cost is very efficient because the Beast uses exactly the water and programme time it needs by weighing the washing when it needs to. Very fancy but not just a gimmick – the Beast is saving me money. Boom!
I love the choice of programmes, and especially the, ^all in one^ option. I haven’t found a YouTube video that takes me through each exact programme, and I don’t have a degree in domestic engineering so have yet to figure every single option on my downloaded instruction manual.
But once I get to grips with the Cape Canaveral-esque control panel, I’m sure I’ll be even more impressed by my washer’s capabilities. For example – I have no clue what a steam function might even be for – but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t involve vegetables.
Similarly, I don’t know why I would need to connect it to my wi-fi, unless there is a secret ^Karaoke partner^ option that I don’t about know yet – but it’s going to be fun finding out…and I usually HATE washing!
At first blush, this washing machine seems like it’s going to be dependable, good value for money and highly useful- unlike my ex-husband!
Nice looking machine. Does great wash whatever program I have used so far. Quiet compared to others I have had. Love the automatic detergent/softner option. Relatively easy to use, needs a bit of a read to get there. So many program options once connected to the wifi app. Now that’s a bit of downside. Did take quite few attempts to actually connect but got there eventually. This does need a bit of tweaking! The other small complaint is when the door locks it really does clunk, will see how that goes, hopefully not a fault. 12 dearer on Amazon than Argos but it wasn’t in stock but free delivery with Prime so evened out really.
Bought this to replace an old 8kg machine that had seen better days. The additional 2kg (10kg) capacity is just the right balance to ensure maximum efficiency by ensuring full loads most of the time and also capable of the odd double duvet wash. The first thing I noticed though was how silent the wash is and even a 1600 spin whilst audible was not obtrusive.
Some, have found the HoN app difficult, however simply following instructions, I found it simple to get up and running (and of course you don’t have to use the app at all). So far I only have 1 issue with the app that for most probably wont be relevant. Only one account can be associated with a device (in this case w/machine) Having a couple of lodgers for them to get the benefits of the app we all ended up sharing a single login. – not a deal breaker by any means. What the app does give you is 63 programmes (each of which can be modified) There is even a setting for your wet suits, and two dedicated to face masks!
There are tons of features many I will probably never use along with several that I will simply not be particularly aware of but benefit all the same, such as it weighing the load and adjusting the water and cycle time to maximise efficiency. One of the best features I love is the notification that the cycle is done as well as the ability to check using your smart phone how much time is remaining. Perhaps on a more mundane but even more beneficial are a number of cycles that enable mixed loads with no fear of ending up with a homogenius load of grey-pink clothing because I forgot or more likely couldn’t be bothered so separate out coloureds, darks and whites etc.
With so many features (particularly when tied in with the app) washing day has become quite exciting – Ok yes I am perhaps the stereotypical male – loving the gadgets, but even my female lodger loves the new machine. Now I just need to get my self a wet suit so I can try that cycle ou
I like the very customisable wash cycles, on my previous washer I could only use the 1600 spin speed on a few cycles but with this washer I can make my own cycles. Also, the ability to save your custom cycles is great and makes sure you never forget that extra rinse when washing towels. This is all through the app, I haven’t had to use the rotary dial other than to turn it on and off. The initial app setup was a bit of a pain and didn’t work a few times, and the online “help” was pointless. It’s also fairly quiet and doesn’t jump around when spinning compared to my old Beko but that might be because the Beko was … old.
