Everything works apart from the pump which will not shut off after 12 hours

I am in love with my new hydroponic growing system. I was using grow lights earlier for my big plants which are still flourishing. But this system allows me to forget about watering water based plants and also forget about switching on/off the lights. The installation is a bit to understand which the manual explains carefully provided you don’t skip it. Once that’s done then it’s an easy ball game of just waiting and watching. I have used the 8 pods to plant coriander and basil and I’m excited to share that little seedlings have come up on their own. The grow lights work automatically and there is little noise of the system and water but I keep it in the kitchen and it doesn’t bother me at all. Happy and waiting to consume the harvest when it’s ready.

I’ve never used anything like this before. It’s really easy to set up. I think it is good value for money.

    Easy to use.

This is great specially for seeding, but any plant will grow a lot faster here than in soil, is really easy to use and looks nice on my desk, the light is too powerful. The bad bit of this item is that you can’t set an specific time to turn on or off the light. You have to switch it on once at the desired time and then it will turn on and off at the same time every day

Looks nice and easy to set up, hopeful for some tomatoes soon.

Very easy to assemble. I bought 3 systems and started growing basil and letuce. Amazing growing speed. It feels like you have a living pet at home. Reccommend this device – very good quality/ price ratio and I am happy to look at it each time. The additional light is kind of design touch in the kitchen. Thank you!

I love this little unit! small and compact. It’s best for my kitchen. I have grown lettuces and some herbs in this pot. It all works as described, I turned on the LED growth lights and it is beautiful with the turning themselves on and off. Now I just sit and wait for my fresh vegetables! I’ve planted to buy one unit more to grow for cherry tomatoes and more lettuce.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWhether environmental and/or ethical concerns of what it ACTUALLY takes to get food on your table has finally struck you, or simply being cooped up for such a long time has made you appreciate nature a lot more than before, then a hydroponics growing system is a great way of growing certain plants and herbs right at home!

Other than seeds and water (obviously), everything you need to get started is included in the package: growing pods (‘artificial soil’); pod cages and clear lids/covers; plant feed; power cables, and instructions, and assembly and setting up the system is piece of cake. Overall this kit is beginner friendly and good value for money compared to a lot of alternatives.

Once set up and powered, the entire system is controlled via the 4 buttons on the top of unit; ‘Power’ (self explanatory); ‘Veg’ mode (lighting setting best suited for vegetables); ‘Flower’ mode (best suited for growing flowers), and ‘Pump’ (water pump control).

The height of lighting section can be adjusted to allow space for plants to grow and to adapt the system for different needs/plants. Water can be easily poured into the system, and if installed, the water level is easily measured and can be tracked by the water level indicator.

The 24 Watt energy draw means that it is relatively inexpensive to run, and so depending on what you’re growing, can be both signifcantly more economical to grow plants at home and potentially cheaper, which is always a nice bonus! And, even if you plan to be using this grower 24/7 until it packs in, it should last for years!

A good value, beginner-friendly hydroponics system

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe unit is small enough to sit on any window seal .it is easy to assemble and operate and the pump
Is ver quite, in fact I had to lift the holders up to check if pump is working as it was too quiet to hear. It took less than a week for the seeds to sprouts . I like the hydroponic principle as it has no bad smell and does not attract any insects. The unit looks nice so even in a lounge or dining room is not out if place and so far after two weeks it has been working efficiently and has not needed any intervention. Particularly useful for novice gardeners or if you want to encourage kids to start growing plant. On the picture you can see peppers and chilli peppers after one week . I would recommend to soak the seeds first in a piece of kitchen towel for 24 hours as this helps to speed up sprouting.

I really love this hydroponics indoor growing unit and after a week of use I have already started to see results. Very easy to set up, you need to fill the unit up with water and add some of the included water soluble plant food to the water. To start off the seeds you need to place the foam plugs in the white baskets and place them in the holes.
After the foam has soaked up water you add your seeds to the centre of the foam plug, cover them with the included little lids. I planted tomatoes, rocket, Swiss chard, radish, mixed salad and spinach. The lights are on a timer, and the little water pump also goes on and off. After a week of use I have all my seeds starting to grow, I still can’t believe how quickly it has taken.
I look forward to having fresh salad to eat all year round, and I highly recommend this product.

    Great indoor hydroponics uni

I’m over the moon with this! I’ve had a problem with the building behind my house It is a building yard They have dumped lots of paint et cetera into the Earth Which means I cannot this year plant my tomatoes which I am really upset about! But this means I can now easy to use easy to set up and I cannot wait to see those tomatoes as you can use it all the way round

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOver had this two weeks now and add you can see in the photo lettuce and tomatoes are growing well. Basil seems to hate it but then I think it prefers dryer soil.
It arrived with the UV head broken, snapped where the box had been crushed before being sent out but some glue fixed that as it all in screws.
It started in the kitchen but the light is too bright and the UV damages eyes so it now sits in the study and runs during the night.
Easy to put together and clean as it connects together with magnets.

Works but as bright as the su

Purchased for my husband’s birthday. Easy to assemble, excellent dispatch-ness, see photos for results so far. After only three weeks the lettuce is ready, tomatoes are progressing and the chillies began growing two weeks ago so should not be too much longer. Purchased coco branded solution as couldn’t find Zhmoo information online. Would def recommend and encourage anyone to purchase one of these kits.

Grow your own, so much fun!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFor the price of a nice plan pot you get a full hydroponics set which is very good value for money. It was a bit daunting getting into soilless planting but the kit is really simple to set up and the instruction is really clear.

The pump and light doesn’t use a lot of power as the adapter is only 24W, water indicator on the side is a great idea as hydroponics = no need to keep watering and hope for the best. It comes with 2 bottle of plant food granules for starting out, just mix with water and add to the tank and off to choose your seeds.

I will update this review with my produces in the coming months, looking forwards to some strawberries and chilies all year around.

UPDATE 1. Chillies and strawberry from seed is a success, 2 weeks and it started to spout pic#5

Easy to set up even for a first time kitchen hydroponics
