Hard floor mode: Move the bumper as illustrated with the soft roller head installed. This mode has a large opening in the front, which sucks up large debris and fine dust from hard floors.

Overall good, the suction is good and it’s easy to move around especially on the stairs. The battery life is disappointing as it only last 20 minutes on high suction power.
Very good for the car, stairs etc and quite impressed with the suction when in full mode.
It is a good vacuum cleaner only spoilt by its weight distribution. It is too difficult too handle for my wife who has back problems so we swapped it, with our son, for a lighter model.
Excellent hoover ,my second one, the other one still works but battery died & it was very expensive(60) to get a replacement battery
I have been using this product for two month now and I have to say, I am so happy. It cleans like a dream. super light and easy to assemble. I highly recommend i
It is nice hoover…I have 2 German Sheperd and is do good job with long hair…easy to clean brushes….just batery is not the best but still I can hoover twice my living and kitchen so is ok
Had for a few months, still working well, seems quite sturdy, easy to clean, would recommend.
I can use to clean my house once then the battery is out, that is roughly 20 mins hoovering. Not as it is advertised of how long the battery would last! Other than that it works well!
Apart from the battery life being pretty short, my partner and I are very satisfied with the product and has definitely changed our way to clean our home! Cordless, powerful and different tools for any necessities to swap around. The battery isn’t really an issue as anyway you can easily recharge it and then put it back whenever required. Overall I recommend the product.
This is probably the best battery vacuum cleaner on the market for this price and probably is not even far from Shark or Dyson. I thought to spare more money for Dyson but somehow I saved over 150 and nevertheless I am amazed how good this product is.
It has all gadgets that can be applied for home use, furniture and vehicle cleaning.
The inly thing that I wish, is if I can buy a soft tube to be more flexible when cleaning the car otherwise is top quality!
It is very light compared to many.
There is a lever to keep it turned on to save continual pressing the trigger.
The light is great and shows up the dirt!
Suction seems fine.
It easily cuts down to a hand held one. Overall i really fall in love with Jashen products!
Firstly I have to say I really like the vacuum. We have hard flooring throughout our house but have carpet on the staircase only. The small motorised head attachment is wonderful at getting the stairs clean and fluffy again it’s so much better than using a non-motorised head even on a much more powerful plug-in vacuum cleaner. It’s also a great tool for cleaning car mats. The only negative is that the battery life isn’t great. It’s not just this vacuum I’ve used Dyson’s too and they’re all similar especially if you want to use max suction power. Overall, I think it’s a good addition to the cleaning tools cupboard but I wouldn’t recommend this as your primary or only vacuum as the battery wouldn’t give you more than 30 mins on medium power.
Liked that it wasnt as heavy as the Shark. So easier on the hands and wrists for those of us with issues. Very easy to use and manoeuvre with it lighting up when it detects a dark area. Also much cheaper than a shark. Suction is good for a cordless. Obviously the stronger the suction you use the shorter the battery lasts. I live in a 3 bed terrace and can get the whole house done on one charge on high suction power. Easy to empty, which needs to be done after each use due to small compartment. I guess the only thing I dont like is the relatively expensive cost of a second battery, should you wish to buy one if your house is bigger or dont have time to recharge the one battery.
Great suction power! Good advantage to have different speeds. Quiet too. Easy to empty. I do find it heavy to use but I have carpal tunnel so I do struggle with hoovering. Battery life is great if you use on the lowest power, I do my 2 bedroom home in one go. However if i use it on high power I only get to do a few rooms .
All in all a good buy though.
Great lightweight product but have early doubts about the battery life.
A bit daunted when I opened the box as so many different parts but needn’t have worried as it was easy to assemble. I’ve only used the vacuum a couple of times so far but I’m liking it very much – easy to manoeuvre and seems to be doing the job. The only glitch for me – the balance of the main dirt cup/ battery seems to be slightly off as I feel that it falls to one side but that may just be me.
This is a great product, light and easy to move around. Plus 40 minutes battery time is plenty to hoover my 3 bed house. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because battery operated units will never be as powerful suction as 230v plug in hoovers. But this beats having a lead and a lumpy object attached to it.
I brought it for my elderly mother who still loves to clean and tidy up to get her moving during lockdown.
I will say it is very lightweight and thus allows her to zoom along quite easily, the suction is quite good however even when fully charged, the highest setting can run out of charge quite quickly. But for most households the medium seting should suffice.
After using for over year must say it’s good vacuum cleaner when it works …. ufortunatelly mine after year and few months stopped working.not happy as too much money spent for only year of doing the job!!!!! Very disappointed!!!!!!
Appears to be OK time will tell. Had a quick demo and was impressed with the performance. One problem, I am left handed and the air vents for the hoover, unfortunately is on the right side. Full force gale very annoying. Don’t think I am going to enjoy vacuuming. Yes I can use my right hand but that vent is a major inconvenience.
I needed a new Hoover after my Dyson died after only 3years and didn’t want to spend too much so after a lot of research I opted for this one. My first impression on opening was, it looks very well made and considering it’s a German product (well it sounds German) I thought it’s got to be pretty good. I was impressed by the suction considering it’s battery power, I can reach under furniture that I couldn’t get to with my upright Dyson. The tools are very usefully especially the brush head for pet hair. I also like the way it lights up automatically when you push it into a dark area enabling you to see what your picking up. The only draw back is the fact that the charge doesn’t last that long when it’s on full power but hopefully I shall be getting another battery to solve that issue.
A very reliable vacuum cleaner with very good suction power
on the the higher setting. And for it’s price I would recommend
this as decent purchase for a cordless vacuum cleaner. Battery
power also impressive. Very happy overall with my item.
The Jashen V16 feels and performs like a premium cordless vacuum for nowhere the price of the premium brands e.g. Dyson or Miele.
It was very easy to assemble straight out of the box and after having charged it for the recommended 4 hours it has worked like a dream. All the attachments fit very well and the wall mount is very ergonomically designed so that it fits snug against the wall whilst being able to hold all the attachments that come with it.
Would highly recommend and have nothing negative to say about it all.
Really happy with our purchase. We were replacing our Dyson which was expensive and not great. (Parts wearing out, roller getting stuck with hair etc). So was reluctant to buy another. This was much cheaper and reviews seemed good so decided to buy. Seemed much more solid than Dyson. Suction great.
After a few weeks we did have an issue. I contacted Jashen’s customer service. They got back to me within 12 hours and sent a replacement part for free. Brilliant customer service! Well done.
This is the best stick vacuum we have ever bought, the features it has leaves our old dyson in the dark ages.
A switch that can be turned on and it stays on, not having to hold it in all the time. (dyson)
A indicator to let you know how much battery is left, (not just dying without warning dyson) I could go on but I feel the need to get on the cleaning bug. (Jashen)
Would bue again in a heart beat, so should you.
First impressions are great. Battery gives enough time to do all the hoovering I want to do. Max. power does drain the battery more quickly but mid power gives adequate suction anyway. I would recommend having a spare battery charged up in case. The bin is small but is very easily emptied. Excellent attachments and very manoeuvrable – I can slide it under a king size bed to vacuum the whole under bed area which is a real bonus as the bed is difficult to move on my own – the reactive LED lights are very useful here too. Also find it handy on the stairs without the wand. The screen display is good to see how much battery you have left and when the filter needs cleaned. Excellent after sales service from Jashen too. Really glad I choose this product.
Purchased November 2020
Does the job without the loud noise that our old one made (Dyson v6) Has a light on the front which shows up the dog hairs more while hovering. Not had it long so may edit this review if it throws problems. But as it stands a good buy.
Update – 19/01/22
Had it for 14 months and it’s done its job with no problems. We have a German Shepard that it has to deal with. But now the tube has cracked on the roller head. I have tried to get into the roller part to replace it but had no luck. Just warning people it has a shelve life. Our Dyson lasted a lot longer than this hover.
Feels well made, it is not heavy to use at all for what it is, I actually enjoy cleaning/using it much more so than lugging a corded vacuum around, particularly on stairs. It has pretty good suction but I tend to leave it at medium setting which is a good compromise between suction power and battery life.
I was considering purchasing a Dyson but comparing the prices, this is a great alternative. The vacuum looks good too and has a very helpful screen at the top of the battery; happy with my purchase.
This is a very lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner which is so important to me. The auction.ppwer is good and I keep it upstairs so that I don’t have to lug my corded Dyson up the stairs as it is so heavy. I bought it at a great price and am really pleased with my Jashen V16.
The vacuum head travels easily around, turning quickly and with almost no effort to get into tight corners.
The operation is very simple, with just an easily-located small on/off switch on the main body.
Recharge time for the battery is prety standard and I find I can do the whole house on a single charge with no problem. The battery comes out of its slot easily, which is good if you have reduced strength in your hands.
Emptying the dust compartment is a breeze too; again with a quick flick of a catch to open the lid and gravity does the best. As other reviewers have said, it does fill up quite rapidly, but as it’s a cinch to empty, that’s hardly an issue and I find I can do the whole house before needing to empty the unit.
It comes with a bracket to mount it on a wall, but I find it’s fine just leaning it in a corner of the hall where it occupies very little space, and I have the charger on the floor.
I have to say, I love the colour too.
The only (slight) downside for me is the suction power, which although pretty good on standard carpets and hard floors, leaves a little to be desired on anything with a deeper texture, like my doormats. For that reason I use the Jashen as my daily cleaner and use my Henry for the deep cleans, but working in tandem, these two appliances are great and I’m very happy with the Jashen.
Great little cordless hoover that’s light in weight and doesn’t lack in power nor performance.
Didn’t know much about this brand prior to buying the cordless hoover, went by the previous reviews. I must say I am really impressed with it, i have a Dyson DC34 as a cordless which I don’t use anymore, not only has the Jashen V16 out preformed the Dyson but the battery life is perfect for what I need it for.
Cost me a 3rd of the price i would have paid for the v8 Animal.
Been 3 weeks so far and still going strong.
Love the little light feature, as well as how easy it is to use around corners.
The vacuum arrived very well packaged in a sturdy box, and the instructions were clear and simple, making assembly a breeze.
The finish and materials used in its construction gave the vacuum and its components a surprising feel of quality and durability you would only expect from much more expensive brands. All the parts snapped together with a positive reassuring click, which gave the vacuum an overall feel of sturdiness and precision. The weight was well balanced with the battery mounted on top of the handle acting as a counter balance to the motor.
The suction of the vacuum was more than adequate for everyday dust and dirt. Operational noise was also relatively low, even on the highest suction setting.
Emptying the vucuum after use was very simple and convenient, with a press of a button, all the dirt was realeased from the fair sized dust compartment into the bin.
Overall, the vacuum is well built, easy to use, convenient and above all, exceptional value for the price.
Wanted something similar to the big name brands but lower in price. This hoover is fantastic for me and my two messy daughters. Great suction power on carpet and hard flooring. I’ve got mine on the wall so it’s easy to take off and put back on charge for my busy lifestyle. Love how the adapters click onto the bracket. Empties easy. The screen shows you your battery life, suction power and when to clean the filter. Very happy!
Brilliant product! When looking for a cordless vacuum, I compared this against the Dyson equivalent – the Jashen is lighter, has better capacity, has a charge point for an additional battery, has a pet brush accessory ( which I have ordered), the suction is great at picking up dog fur….and it is a third of the price of the Dyson. Additionally Jashen claim queries will be responded to within 24 hours – I tested this, and they came back within 12! All in all, a great product with great support.
I’ve used it only a couple of times still but I’m quite impressed. Suction power is fine for us. We managed to vaccume our semi detached house without having to recharge. However I used moderate power mostly. Didnt need to use the high power much.
Giving only 4 stars as it’s a bit heavy and the long hair gets tangled in the brush head and have to cut it off and clean it now and then while vacuuming.
Otherwise it’s perfect.
#nt much better than expected I found my Henry was getting difficult to use as i am 81 and n0t as strong as I used to be and was always tripping over the tube of the power cable. This glides over the carpets with little effort.
I had hoovered the carpets the day before the Jashen arrived. As soon as it arrived I charged the battery. I used it on the lounge carpet and was amazed at the amount of dust it picked up which was left behind by the Henry from the previous day. It arrived on time and was extremely well packaged. and easily assembled. There is video on You tube that shows how to assemble should anybody finding difficult to assemble although it is very easy The build is very good and better than most that I have considered. Well pleased with it.
The vacuum is good . Definitely better than a cheaper Hoover model I had previously. Also good accessories. However , battery is not great and I expected it lasted a bit longer , but it sadly does not .
I am extremely pleased with this vacuum cleaner as I wasn’t sure about whether or not to get another Vax, I am glad I didn’t. The product is very well made and putting it together and even taking it apart seems to be effortless, my partner used to struggle with our previous vacuum.
Battery life is good and the suction is very powerful, I have to turn it down on the carpet as it is too powerful. Lots of attachments also come with it so cleaning the stairs is easy. Overall we are very pleased with it and can recommend it to anyone looking for a new vacuum.
I previously had an 100w Beldray which was getting a little sad and useless. The Jashen cordless has been a HUGE improvement with 350w and some great accessories. I have found the charging mount for the wall really simple to put up and extremely useful and am very impressed that there are different roller options for different floor types. In addition it comes with a small roller that is great for pet hair as well as a brush tool and a crevice tool. It was like… a quarter of the price of a Dyson and really good value for money, not to mention it is very good looking with a lovely digital display.
The only surprise was that I haven’t found a way to make this stand up on it’s own yet, but that is probably me being thick!
The soft roller for hard floors is very efficient, and if it gets hair or threads round it, they are easy to snip off. In fact, I rarely use the carpet head, although that does do a better job on the stairs. I’m not just lazy, I find wrestling with removing the long tube a bit of a challenge. I have to tuck the motor under my right armpit, press the red release button, and yank with my left hand – a two-handed-sitting-down-job for me. Not having a lot of strength in fingers does make it challenging to remove both the head, and tube, as the release buttons are a bit hard to press down. The on/off button is fine to use, but I’m glad I’m not partially-sighted because it is hard to locate without vision – It’s not raised much..
Now we come to the emptying…. A small chamber, which is fine, takes all the dust from a 3 bed house in one go. To empty I lean the tube against the bin, tilt the canister over it and release the latch. With luck the dust all falls into the bin and not onto the floor, but if some dust and fluff has stuck up the sides, which it does on a big clean, then you have to remove the whole dust canister And the filter. I get my husband to do that bit as there are 2 red buttons to press simultaneously as you tilt the canister out from the bottom end. That is one step too far for me.
The final problem is if the doorbell or phone rings, you can’t just put the cleaner down and scamper to see the fleeing postie, The machine either needs careful propping up, or taking to the door. (Remember to turn it off if you do that because etiquette demands that thou shalt not hoover in the face of strangers). However, if you have lever-type door handles I found out only today, it will hook over them very easily, (see photo) and that way if you’re lucky, you might catch sight of the Amazon van driving away.
Do I like this vacuum? I seem to be finding a lot of niggles, but I’ve given it 4 stars because it sucks so well. I do prefer an upright-stander, but couldn’t find a good enough battery-powered one of those on the market. My old upright battery-powered VAX lasted 8 years, but TBH didn’t really suck for the last four. I find having no flex is the difference between vacuuming more than once a week, and doing less than that because all my sockets are at floor level. Hence the Jashen. It does the job, it hooks onto its charger, the battery lasts for cleaning the whole house, and although not the lightest of vacuums, it is not too heavy for me. However, I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with arthritic hands, as the buttons are quite stubborn. Is it noisy? No more than any other vacuum. You cant have a good sucker without a bit of wellie, and it manoeuvres round furniture pretty well. Would I buy again? Not if there was a free-standing excellent battery-powered cleaner. I do like to be able to leave the cleaner without having to park it safely first. But otherwise, yes, I like the performance – and I’m not fond of the other alternative well–known powerful sucker-upper – so am happy with this brand. It’s a lot cheaper too!
Our top of the range Dyson cordless stick vacuum died and had to be replaced. We were shocked to see the price of a new dyson was double what we paid last time, so decided to look for an alternative and after a lot of searching and checking reviews chose the Jashen V16. We were not disappointed; if anything it is more powerful than the dyson and has a better range of tools as standard. Battery life is good and the battery life display let’s you see clearly how long before it stops running. The floor light is a bonus. You can get an additional battery which charges in a port which is part of the wall dock. The on board battery is charged whenever the cleaner is attached to the dock (both charge concurrently). The only criticisms are that it is slightly heavier than the dyson and the dust holder capacity is not great though it is easily emptied after each use which is probably better anyway. In conclusion, buy this rather than a dyson unless you are determined to pay a lot more to buy British. For me dyson need to drop their prices a lot if they want to stay in the game.
Could not bring myself to pay the extortionate price to replace my dying Dyson cordless (a gift) so decided to try Jashen after doing some research on Amazon. My Dyson was convenient but useless in short battery life and long charging time. If like me you like to do all your hoovering in one go’ Dyson is not the tool. The cordless are expensive and I dont understand the reason why but I suppose convenience comes at a cost.
Jashen works just as good and even better as you have 3 power settings so you can manage yourself the battery useage which is 40mins on low which gives a good enough suction. Also the battery can be removed for charging instead of putting the whole unit on charge. You can buy a second battery but I didnt. I need to get use to not pressing the lever to work the hoover/saving power but the extended battery life of 40mins makes it not an issue. Just what you are used to I suppose. Save your money and get this’ so far’ so good.
So far I have no complaints with this Hoover. It is lightweight, easy to use and charge. I have used it also to clean the car. The hoovering now doesn’t seem such a chore.
Battery life-
It does last 40 minutes if used on minium and medium suction, we have wood flooring and only use it on minium suction for the floor and maxium for the rug as you can see it is a deep rug but the battery life will easily last to hoover a 2 bedroom house top to bottom.
Suction- as i said wood flooring all thats needed is the minium setting and we have a GERMAN SHEPHERD so you can imagine the amount of dog hair and this manages to keep up with it without blocking or struggling.
Features- led display which makes it look really smart and a warning light wich lets you know once the dust filter needs washing, we have not had a warning light since we have used it all we have done is empty it regularly.
The light comes on when it sences that its under a table, chairs or cabinets due to the sensor on the end.
Overall well worth the money no need to buy a shark or dyson this competes and holds it own.
Honest genuine review i am not an amzon reviewer or on behalf of jashen! Hope this helps
I’m glad I bought this vacuum cleaner. I spent months reading reviews for various vacuum cleaners online but didn’t want to spend the amount necessary for a Dyson. I then decided to go for this one because of all the good reviews here.
The Jashen V16 is assembled very easily and fast.
It has 3 different suction power settings and since I almost only have hard floor the medium setting is more than enough for me. I also tried it on my carpet and it worked perfectly fine as well.
I love my jashem V16, it’s light, easy to use, good battery life and suction good. I use it on timber floors and rugs and it’s excellent for animal fur also. Delivery was fast.
The Jashen arrived on time and well packaged with each piece in a bag then contained within cardboard for added protection. Instructions are clear and so easy to follow to put it together, all clips in nicely with little fuss. The separate rollers, carpet and hard floor, are incredibly easy to change with minimal fuss.
Suction is awesome! Sucks in stuff that’s gets a little too close, but the on/off switch is so easy to get to, shutting if off to pull out the foreign body is easy peasy. Battery power on max, on carpets was about 10 mins, plenty enough time to Hoover status and 3 bedrooms. On hard floors med power is enough so the batter lasts much longer, to allow for lift away to Hoover the cobwebs! It also goes almost flat to get underneath units.
Carrying as handheld is incredibly light and taking it apart/putting it together is so easy, just the push of a button!!
The very handy storage/holder is perfect to keep the vacuum contained all in one place, while it charges, meaning it’s there ready whenever it’s needed.
Best vacuum!!! So easy to use. So easy to change head/accessories. So light weight and manoeuvres with ease. Without a doubt, I recommend this Jashen.
Never had a cordless before as relied on the power of a Henry but I must say t a great vacuum. Lightweight and easy to stow away and a good charging point. The battery sometimes runs out too fast without much notice but the LED screen does make it easier. Perfect for whizzing around on hard floors and not too shabby with the carpet attachment. A good cheaper option to a Shark or Dyson.
The instructions are very good and the machine is very easily put together. An intelligent, quiet, stylish, smooth operator. It has 3 different speeds: min, med and maximum. The maximum not only picks up every piece of dust but would take it to the moon if you asked it too. In other words its very powerful.
Feels good in the hand and for the first time ever I actually enjoyed doing some housework. In fact, afterwards I felt really happy and felt I had just made a good friend. I kid you not.
The vacuum generates running time from 15 minutes to 40 minutes which compares well with others in the marketplace BUT the two batteries together is a masterpiece or even three, who cares! What it means to you is you don’t have to rush and can take all the time in the world because you always have a replacement battery.
Emptying the filter cleaning alert, battery level and suction power displayed on top of the battery is also a masterpiece and keeps you on top of everything while you clean. Which brings me to my favourite bit. The emptying of the dust cup and routine cleaning of the filters are the easiest I’ve ever known.
The accessories that come with the vacuum cleaner are second to none. Good quality like the hoover and they cover every eventuality. Read Jashen’s technology page carefully, it really tells you what this machine is about.
Thank you Jashen for making my life easier and allowing me more time to spend with my intellect.
You need to drill some screws to mount the vacuum for effective storage and charging. It can charge without but just plugging it in, but after you use it and you see what a great job it does then you will want to give it, its own space.
To empty and clean is so easy, and the battery has never died on us mid vacuum. We use it and then put it on charge if we need to do some other cleaning tasks before vacuuming the next area. No need to buy another battery like I thought I would need to.
Really lightweight, so easy on the wrists, but very powerful. Very manoeuvrable, almost lies flat to get under low furniture.
It comes well packaged and feels very sturdy once put together, which is very easy as well.
There was a little charge in the battery already but I charged it up fully to see how it coped with longer use.
I was very pleasantly surprised. My carpets had already been vacuumed with my Dyson but the Jashen picked up a lot of dirt and grit that had obviously been left behind.
The attachments are easy to click on and off and the small, motorised head is brilliant on the stairs and in the car.
I bought this vacuum to use in my static caravan, as I really didn’t want to manage a corded vacuum in such a small space, but I’m very tempted to get another for at home.
Delighted with this purchase!
Early days but I’ve used my jashen hoover a few times and really impressed with it so far. It has good suction and is very light and compact. Storage has also been great as we live in a small flat where space is a premium. The battery runs down quite quickly on full power but the settings are perfectly adequate and you can always get a spare battery if you have a big place. All in all, a decent hoover at a fraction of the cost of some of the rivals.
Fantastic product. After doing a lot of research into cordless vacuums I came across Jashen. This by far offers more suction than the dyson available for this price point. Lots of accessories come as standard, they have a button to release which all work very well. The charging dock is great and even stores an extra battery (sold separately). The battery lasts very well I am able to do all three of our floors and still over half power left. If you’re unsure I recommend to give this a go I don’t think you will be disappointed. Thanks
Told the wife I got her a little something and to put it on before when I got home…. well, she and I are delighted. Great suction handy to keep near by and whip it out to have a little clean up. Accessories are perfect for the car stairs and little crevasses. We still have a main Vac. but this was an additional purchase so we don’t have to go to the trouble of getting the wired Vac and end up doing the whole house. With the additional battery you can have one on charge and ready to go as and when you need it.
Very efficient vacuum cleaner for the price, probably as good as the leading makes but much cheaper.
I can do the whole house (3 bedroom flat so no stairs) with one charge and for much of it I can use the medium power.
The wall bracket is great once fitted and the unit just hangs on there and charges the battery for when you next need it, I have fitted the bracket in a ‘broom’ cupboard at a height that allows me to place the vacuum on there complete with the long extension tube and the floor / carpet brush unit.
The small brush unit is great for doing the car (I have an estate and the back gets pretty grubby) and I take the crevis attachment outside with me which is great for getting down the sides of the car seats. All in all I am very pleased with the unit as a whole.
If I were to find fault it would be that the dirt container is fairly small but is sufficient for doing the house and the car in one go, I just empty it when I have finished so not a big deal and to be honest I used to hate emptying a large dirt bag / container with my old mains operated vacuum cleaner.
Both the large and the small brush units are motorised so work very well.
It wasn’t difficult to set up. and it wasn’t hard to use at all. it is slightly on teh heavier side but my daughter who is 11 was able to use it deftly without issues to vacuum teh floor and teh height was good for both herslef and myself.
I think I felt it being heavy when I was doing cobwebs as my hands had to be raised. However using it on the floow as a regular vacuum cleaner was really good.
I haven’t tested the battery life but I’ll like to get a spare battery anyways for those days when you are doing a full house clean and need at least an hour of use.
Also the charger has a separate spot to charge a spare battery without having to tswap around batteries for charging which is a plus.
Over all really very good purchase
This is a really good hoover for a small flat with lots of hard wood floors. The carpet attachment is good but not to be compared with a full sized corded hoover. That said, at the price point I think this is a solid buy!
I have uneven slate floors and some wood floors, and a dark cottage which is home to three hairy animals and a son who traipses in clumps of mud. I use the soft roller on the floors and this has no problem with dust, hair, mud, general spillages, and it even sucks up dirt from between the floorboards that Henry missed. The light on the front is a godsend for dark corners.
One of the reasons I bought it was for the small head attachment with the motorized roller, which I hoped would be suitable for cleaning mud and hair off the bed, but with the suction and the motor it just eats the sheets. Fortunately the dusting brush is ideal for this, and also good for cleaning keyboards.
There is a turbo setting but I’ve never needed it, although when I tried it out I did notice that the battery life diminished significantly.
Emptying it is really easy: I detach the waste bin and then pull open the filter end as it is easier to empty out clumps of hair that way.
Now, it is heavy. If all you are doing is sweeping the floor, or stairs, or bed or sofa then it’s not an issue, but if you’re swinging it around above your head trying to get cobwebs off a 9 foot high ceiling, then it’s going to be tiring, and you’re going to wish the battery life wasn’t quite so good so you can justify taking a break…..
Battery life: I always leave it charging so the battery is always full when I come to use it, and it has never run out on me before I’ve finished – well – not finished, but had enough of that chore, thank you very much! If you have a nice tidy house I guess you could do 6-8 rooms easily. One nice thing is that the charging cable fits directly into the vacuum cleaner, so you don’t have to use the charging stand.
The attachments are great and easy to swap, the whole thing feels sturdy, it’s a lovely colour, and most importantly, it does the job it’s meant to do. So glad I bought this particular machine.
I got this new vacuum when moving into my flat. I wanted something which was good on both hard floors and rugs. This hoover does not disappoint, its suction settings allow you to adjust easily to best suit your needs. The battery life is great and its kept my flat clean throughout. I also love the screen on the top to let you know what charge you have. I also have very high ceilings and this hoover is great top use and has good nozzles to get into hard to reach places. Great Hoover.
Well, what can I say – I am actually blown away with this product. I suffer from rheumatoid & psoriatic arthritis so was over the moon when the weight was not a problem (or lack of weight should I say) The suction was unbelievable. I have a cat who sheds a lot of fur & it just sucks it up no problem, I also have very long hair & am so impressed with the way it does not tangle up in the head. It was extremely easy to put together & I love the way it has 2 ways to charge, so you don’t have to charge it on the included wall mounted dock – the digital display is brilliant so you know where you are with the battery while using it & also while it is charging. I live in a duplex so have 2 stories, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining, kitchen & lounge & am impressed that the battery lasts for all of that. You can also purchase a second battery which can be stored neatly in the dock. It is a super space saver. The packaging was outstanding & the instructions are brilliant. So far I’m very impressed & highly recommend it.
Excellent cordless vacuum cleaner. I bought it to replace a corded vacuum cleaner, I have used it on hard floor and on carpets.
Pros
Excellent suction power, it has 3 speeds.
Excellent cleaning on carpets and hard floors.
It is very well built and feels very sturdy. Ithas all the attachments which you could need. It has 2 motorized brushes which is so helpful.
Not very heavy, I have tried other vacuum cleaners which felt really heavy and bulky( they were some of the very expensive brands) .
Cons
Battery life on middle speed around 25 minutes which some times feels a bit shorter than what you want to do especially that once you get it in your hand you just want to clean the whole house. But you can buy a spare battery.
The bin is a bit small 0.5 L and emptying it requires to take all the filters out which is a bit annoying and time consuming.
It doesn’t come with spare filter.
Overall I am happy with my new cordless vacuum cleaner and I recommend it.
It’s quieter than previous vacuums that I’ve used even at the maximum power which I use for heavy duty jobs like vacuuming my shag pile rug. I have closely inspected my rug after using the Jashen and couldn’t see any remaining dust or dirt on it so I’m very impressed. I particularly like the upholstery plus the crevice tools for vacuuming the inside of my car. It does a great job. Emptying the dust cup is a doddle. I just hold it over my bin and empty the contents by pressing a button which releases a flap and out comes all the dust. Just close and it’s ready to use again.
This is clearly a quality vacuum with powerful suction. Every part feels as if it’s made with premium materials. It is built to be user friendly, and it needs to be where I’m concerned. It looks majestic and now has pride of place hanging on our kitchen wall. Extremely happy I chose this stick vacuum.
Highly recommended.
Very pleased with it for the price, if you use the long attachment with the motorised head you really need it on max power to fetch everything up. I live in a medium sized house and max power a charge does the whole bottom or top floor. Looks and feels a premium product and I’m happy.
But this isn’t all smoke and mirrors, the vaccum packs a punch too, it’s a well made unit, weighty but not heavy, constructed of good quality plastics and metal for the shaft, even the main roller has an LED and automatically rotates during use, it’s also a weighty brush so it sits firm to the floor and boy does this unit suck up every bit of dust, hair and come to that anything else that gets in its way. Press the suction control button (one of only two buttons on the main body, the other being the power button) and you can choose between mid, mid and high power (be aware that high power drains the battery quite quickly but would also suck the skin of a rice pudding)
Even more clever is the digital display to the top, clear and easy to read it shows you the current power level (the battery charge left based on the power level in use) and a filter clean warning if it needs cleaning.
You get a good selection of tools, the large headed carpet and hard floor brush (a furry time roller and a changeable brush type), a smaller version of the same with flexible head, a crevice tool and a dual use curtain and upholstery tool. Plus a very useful wall unit that can charge the vacuum and a spare battery (not supplied but I’m going to buy one as very useful) , you can even plug the supplied charger directly into the vacuum if you don’t want to put back into the holder which is a nice feature.
You also receive a glossy well written manual to explain the very obvious functionality just in case you need it, overall this is an absolute winner and they do a clever little pet brush which I also purchased but will review there.
So overall a superb unit in my eyes better than many of the big brand vacuums that we have gone through many of in the past.

This is very good vacuum cleaner the plastic is good ( not all plastics are born equal) very stoutly made clicks together well . good battery life three power settings lots of suction on off on top good location for it plenty of tools with nicely designed charging rack and tool holder (unfortunately I don’t have some where to mount it). doesn’t block easily easy to empty with easy to take out filter for washing. Good price for what you get I am sure it is as good as certain other brand that can cost a lot more.
Pros:
– The suction power is strong so no issues vacuuming thick carpets
– Eco,mid or boost modes available depending on suction power needed, personally i find the mid mode has more than enough suction power for my carper
– Its light and easy to clean the filter, handle is also pretty comfortable
– The batter lasts appro 40 minutes on mid power which is pretty long compared to other cordless vacuums and is sufficient to vacuum my mid sized apartment
– There is a alert via the digital screen when the filter needs to be cleaned which is really efficient and ensures no suction is lost
– Comes with multiple nozzles to vacuum hard surfaces and smaller areas
– Apperance is attractive with its digital screen
Cons:
– Personally it would be a bonus if there were further colour options to select
– Tube could be expanded alittle more for the taller person
Overall, in terms of functionality, ease of use, batter power and its unique digital screen; it more than delivers compared to other cordless vacuums and would therefore recommend.
The vacuum runs like a dream. We get easily half hour from the battery, which is more than enough to give our extension a good once over. Suction power for this vacuum, given that it is cordless is still very good. The handy stand can be wall mounted so that the vacuum can stay flat against the wall.
No complaints at all. Great for the price.
