3 Channels Available

You can also set channel 1, 2, 3 using the “Down” bottom. This means that the weather station can connect up to 3 wireless outdoor sensors (only one in our package). These three sensors can be installed in your indoor, garden, yard, etc. You must press the arrow key to toggle the LCD display of the various channels of the corresponding outdoor sensor channel. Channel 1 corresponds only to the outdoor sensor channel 1 and the same channel 2 and channel 3.

Private Practical Weather Station

Our weather station is not like the weather forecast you see on TV or online. Kalawen’s weather forecast products include sensors that collect real-time data directly outdoors. They are based on weather stations that track specific weather-related variables, including changes in temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure to produce a forecast with a personalized accuracy for your location. It can show you the weather in real time in the next 12 to 24 hours.

Perfect Shopping Experience

Moon phase and tide display: The weather station has an indicator that automatically displays the current moon phase.

Comfort display: Indoor comfort is calculated based on indoor temperature and humidity (5 levels in total). Very vivid from a smile to a sad face.

Good weather station and an upgrade on my last one, which had just black numbers on a white background.
The Kalawen gives a colour display which is an big improvement. However I haven’t covered all the features on this machine yet but very pleased with it so far.

Bought as a present for my parents. They were a little dubious at first but after a good laugh we set it up and put the sensor in the garden it quickly became a mini obsession. Definitely a winner.

Bought this to replace Lidl one. Nice and bright very easy to read and looks good .Setting up was fairly easy but annoyingly cannot change the barometer pressure which is too low. Easy to put on shelf but hanging on wall more difficult as if too high cannot read display due to shape of frame. Got round this by putting in longer screw on wall and a Command strip on base.

Good easy to view weather statio

I love the layout of this and its easy to read screen, as this is situated under our tv i thought it might be distracting but as its slightly angled backwards when you sit down the screen is not visible. A great bit of kit and accurate too.

Don’t get me wrong from the title, but this is a good bit of kit.
For the money it does what it says on the tin.
Manual very small so best to go online to help with problems, I had no problems setting this up.
Like I say it has its niggles, but for a small price it a thumbs up from me.

I’ve had three lots of two other well-known makes over the past 10 years and they each lasted about 3 years so thought I’d try this one. It was easy to set up, is large and clear so can be read from a good distance, it has more features than I need, and I’m just hoping that this time it’ll last more than 3 years.

Obviously (well, hopefully) not a top-tier weather station – the only “storage” is last 24hr barometric
pressure on the unit itself and you’re not getting any wind measurements, but was easy to set up
(the manual has very tiny writing), has a vibrant display, and although the radio-controlled time element
doesn’t work for me that’s certainly a minor issue.

Has alarms including temperature high and low. measures temperature and humidity inside and out
(via the remote sensor – mine is in a little pot with holes in to keep rainfall out but air in) and although
the manual does point out that a professional weather forecast would take priority over the displayed
prediction you can alter the picture manually if you want to.

Overall a quality “clock with weather elements” and after a couple of days in seems pretty bulletproof –
the main unit takes 2 AA batteries in case the power goes out – also shows the phase of the moon. Nice!

Once having read the instructions the station was easy to set up. One unexpected feature was the “ice alert” which showed up on the days that were really cold – cool!! The station has replaced my old digital clock but I have not set any alarms yet.
The one downside – if one could all it that – was how and where to place the sensor.

This is a very good and useful product. My one small criticism (and I accept it is personal) is that the outdoor station cannot fit snugly to the wall. Apart from that I am very pleased with the weather statio

This device is meant to be plugged in to the mains if you want a permanent info centre, the batteries allow it to keep working if you can’t plug in in to the mains for whatever reason (albeit unreadable as it’s too dark), it works like the date battery in your computer or laptop, best when plugged in.
In all fairness it’s not bad, lots of useful info and the sensors are pretty accurate, I’d buy one! oh yeah, I did 🙂
Great little weather centre for not much money.

opened the box and have chosen to use the power cord to see the display all the time. Turned the power on and placed the supplied adapter in a suitable place outside the house. After about 10 minutes the the system doing its thing the display is bright and time is accurate along with the internal and external temperatures.

This product has improved my quality of life! The ability to have the large bright display dimmed until the top of the screen is touched is very valuable. I have not been able to get value from the weather forecasting mode though – possibly more relevant for the country of origin rather than here in the UK. My first set of batteries in the remote unit lasted 15 months so that’s not a worry.

Had this just under a year when the outdoor sensor failed. Returned whole unit under warranty and will try a 2nd unit. Other than that it is a good clear display and accurate. I have it set up as plugged into power all the time which shows off the display much better 24/7.

This weather station is excellent, just power it up and it automatically sets the time and date. The information is accurate and reliable. Sadly I have deducted a star due to the packaging, or to be more accurate the lack of packaging. It was as though the box had just been taken off the shelf and a label stuck on, no sealing or protection at all on the box. Very lucky to arrive safely.

Bought this as a weather guide and for a certain novelty value. Performance is excellent as are its cosmetics. I’ve seen reviews levelling criticism for it not being accurate within decimal points. My suggestion would be to start your weather station search at the 500 mark. For me, at under 40 this is a great bit of kit and great value. Can’t really think of any negative aspects!

Needs a bit of fiddling so that you gain experience with some settings but very easily sorted out. Now just ticks away showing current info. Slight difference in barometric pressure to what the Met forecast might say but it is the trend that matters, not an exact figure.

A decent product for the price but as expected the user ‘manual’ which came with it was worse than useless and the functions are impossible to work out as a result. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI think this weather station is fantastic. It looks so attractive and useful, on a bedside table and it’s amazing to be able to track unusual phenomena like the phases of the moon (very important for a witch!). I’ve compared the temperature gauge with other thermometers/barometers both inside and outside my hovel and it does seem to be very accurate. This would make a great present for a budding meteorologist! The price seems about right for the functionality and the quality of the unit.

This is an excellent weather station, as it shows you everything you want: the weather temperature both inside & outside, the time, the type of weather, etc. It works by either battery or electricity – just plug it in and it adjusts itself to the current date and time.

The only negative about this is that you need to get up close to it to see what it says. Other than that it is perfect and worth the money paid.

Great display, which also has the moon phase (and a bunny rabbit!) Time synchs to atomic clock so very accurate, the weather readings are accurate when cross checked with other sources. Its plug in and play which is good but defaults an alarm to 06:00 which you have to disable every time you unplug it and plug it back in again. Otherwise would be a 5 star rating, but the best at this price point.

The weather station is working ok up to now. The only problem I had was in fixing the outdoor sensor. The Keyhole slot that is used to hang the sensor up on a screw, is not very good. I had to put a screw over the sensor to stop it lifting off in high wind. Other than that I am happy.

It’s a bit on the gaudy side but you certainly can’t complain of its legibility – our outgoing one is LCD and you have to squint. I don’t really see the need for the clouds to flash when predicted like the spots of rain do but I like the tracking of recent barometric pressure and the remote sensor seems very reliable

Golden Review Award: 77 From Our UsersLiving in the middle of nowhere on the top of the hill, the weather channels are always wrong, in order to keep on top of it we needed to find a solution to tell us what it was like inside and outside comparatively and see how closely this matched with predictions online.

This unit comes as a monitor screen and an external sensor, we’ve placed the sensor outside in the back garden in an area of shade (it actually displays the temperature on the sensor too so we’ve left it in place so we can see it when outside). The external sensor will need an additional 2 x AA batteries which are not included so keep that in mind.

The main screen displays a lot of information crammed into one space, this includes current weather forecast, temperature inside and out, humidity inside and out, a barometer display as well as the time and moon cycles (which is my kids favourite bit).

From the looks of this you should be able to add on an additional 2 sensors on top of the one included as it scrolls through 1 through 3 sensors automatically, you can also add on an alarm for it too (no use to me, but may be for someone). It will also darken the screen when not in use for w while, but even when dark you can still make out temperature etc easily enough.

This is a good entry level weather station which provides accurate readings and generalised forecasts. The remote sensor needs careful positioning as it loses signal if you have too many solid walls to pass through. The display on the main unit might be difficult to see if the angled position is used; fortunately the frame is chunky enough for it to stand up straight without the use of the rear supports. The forecast animation seems fairly accurate (based on the air pressure readings) and, for me, the slow ‘flashing’ of the clouds isn’t a problem (2 seconds on, 1 second off). Overall, a good purchase. If you want wind speed and rainfall readings, this is not the unit for you – but if you want a good forecaster that doesn’t cost several hundred pounds, then give it a go.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersGreat customer service when I wanted more remote sensors. My greenhouse is 30 metres away from the brick built house around and behind the corner of a brick build garage and the weather station is situated behind UPVC windows and I get a great signal from the sensor. I have three remote sensors – greenhouse, orangery and outside shade. The weather prediction Programme and graphics based on analysing humidity and barometric pressure historical trends are better than the online weather stations and are great fun to watch.
It won’t make me a meteorologist but it’s the best boy’s toy I’ve had during Covid. Keeps me amused. Sad but true. Love it.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersOn opening the box, I inserted the batteries into the external sensor, fitted it onto a screw fitting I had already had for my previous weather centre, and plugged in the mains to the main unit, left it for 30 minutes whilst I did something else, came back and everything was working. At first I was concerned with the pressure as it was out of sync with my large barometer which has been my standby for years. However, on checking my records I found it was a long time since I checked it so, on going to the weather centre web site and getting the actual figures for my area, I found it was my barometer that needed adjustment and that the weather station was accurate.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a very nice unit. Does all that most people would want it to do. Nice and clear display. Having had this for a few days now the only problem I can see is that of the Air Pressure reading. It is showing a big difference to other air pressure sensors that I have and run true to the official weather web sites. This error is annoying and lets it down as there is no way (I can find) to calibrate it for my location.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersAfter having several different weather stations. This uk station is a really nice piece of kit.
I wanted the uk version ,as the E U is stopping the Daylight saving time changes (twice yearly) which the UK aren’t.
I live on the south coast so this one is ideal as it picks up the time signal from Cumbria without fail.
That is something which the previous stations which were on the Europe wide signal from Germany often did.
I’ve even done a manual signal check without a hitch it found the signal immediately.
Again, something I couldn’t do when on the German transmitter.
I even bought an extra outdoor Censor as They are always the first to pack up.(so far not needed)
We have been having very wet & windy weather over the last month, all was forecast on this station.
The only thing I would recommend extra that you do is not just read the instruction manual.
It is very important you read the frequently asked Questions , which are printed on the reverse of the front cover.
I hadn’t even heard of this make before now.
However, I’m so impressed with it (so long as this Quality is maintained)
I can’t see me going else ware for this level of weather station.

My old unit failed and in the 6 years since I bought it, things are very different. This is a very easy system to set up. pairing automatically with the outdoor satellite and setting itself up without much effort. I like how you can alter the brightness of the panel to suit the room you are in. I use it mains powered, although it can also take batteries as well. Its been really accurate compared with a much higher cost device I also have. The only negative I would say would be that the outdoor receiver might not hold up too well if you leave it very exposed to the elements, so I would try and find a place under a bit of a roof or something so it doesnt get pounded with rain all the time. excellent – very glad I bought it.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersBought this little gadget for our bedroom as an alarm and then to be able to see what the weather is like outside. If it’s raining I need to get up an extra 5 minutes early to walk the dogs and get them dried off. If it’s very cold my husband needs to get up an extra 5 minutes early to warm up the car. If its neither we get an extra 5 minutes in bed. Well worth it and better than jumping out of bed on a cold morning to check out the window.
Stuck the sensor on the wall outside. Set everything up very easily. Instructions were easy enough to understand It all connected with little trouble. It’s great that its an alarm clock as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersTemperature wise this outfit is quite accurate; indoors and out with the pressure and humidity also seemingly accurate. The forecast is what I find iffy, so I don’t bother looking at that! The outdoor sensor I considered needed to be protected from rain and direct sunshine, hence the cover i made and fitted on the back side of my shed. The indoor sensor I have plugged into the mains. Nice and bright. You have about 4 settings of brightness in the control panel. All in all a nice little outfit.

Keep outdoor sensor dry and out of the sun. ( my point of view)

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersOriginally bought this product for forecasting the weather for hanging out the washing. Dreadful instructions but eventually got the hang of them. The product is very attractive despite being plastic and the forecast screen is easy to read but i’m not sure is any more accurate than looking out the window. Perhaps I will get it right with time.

However I was quite impressed with the remote so I bought 2 more, total 3, and used them in different rooms to check the central heating. Oh dear. That cost me lot more money. It turned out 6 of the 9 Thermostatically Controlled Valves (TCV) were stuck in the fully on position. They aren’t now. One advantage this product has over many others is that the remote sensors also display readings locally not just at the central position.

Unfortunately because it has a colour display it uses quite a bit of current. This means that if it is hung on a wall away from a mains socket you must touch the top in order to show the screen. Not too good if you want to see it from across the room. This product is not really for wall hanging. Do I like it? I suppose I do.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersQuite pleased with this so far. The colour display is clear and easy to read. Accuracy wise; it sits next to my Hive thermostat and the internal temperature is always within 0.1 degree difference. Not very scientific, they may both be miles out but seems ok. As for the external sensor: I have it in a white box( small Stevenson screen) at the bottom of my garden. It reads 1 degree lower than my boiler’s external sensor but this it attached to the house wall (north facing) so I would expect this difference. I’m not sure that the external sensor should be exposed to the elements, which is why I contain it. I may be wrong but I wouldn’t risk it.
The reason I bought this was because an old sensor finally packed in. This one has a much greater range (25m for mine) , something with which I am quite impressed.
If you choose to run the main unit with batteries the display cuts out. It is best to connect to the mains.

Seems reasonably accurate, manual is a little confusing in places due to translation into Englsh. Had different makes before, hope this one lasts longe

Very quick and easy set up. Flashing clouds a bit annoying but can live with it. Moon phase indicator useful but lacks sun rise and sunset time which I would have liked. My previous, long serving but now tired and retired, machine had this which I found useful on many occasions.
