Works well and gives very satisfying noise when you zap a fly.

Well it kills flies spiders wasps almost kills me every time I use it too because it makes me jump so much (it makes a huge popping noise). Doesn’t necessarily kill things first try, so be prepared to feel bad before delivering a second mercy jolt!
I purchased this item over TWO years ago! We recharge the batteries but it is still just as powerful as the day we got it. Living on a farm, it is an absolute necessity, and I wouldn’t be without it. The whole family find it oddly satisfying
Excellent product. Had a recent issue with flies in kitchen. Bought this when they refused to fly out of the window. Easy to use. Just hold down for a while though, as one zap will just knock them out for a bit.
I’m astounded with how easy this is and how I don’t need to recreate my Nan’s 1980s living room with swirls of noxious, but nostalgic, fly spray smells. I read other reviews, so touched the fly with the bat rather than swishing the bat around and I got it on the second go – dead as a door nail.
Bought for my sons room which is south facing and seems to attract wee beasties which annoy him no end.
It does the job as described and said sone is somewhat more relaxed now a solution to the beastie visits is in place.

Advertised for mosquitos but I bought this to combat the invasion of fruit flies in our house. Works well against them and we no longer have them in our house which is a relief. It’s a little scary the almighty crack and spark this gives when it finds its target! Also works on larger flies but it doesn’t kill them right away.
No sooner had this arrived I put it to the test on an annoying blue bottle zap it was dead very happy

Sometime it takes a couple of zaps to kill a fly, but it does work.
Try not to use it as a tennis racket as you’ll get better results cornering and then pressing the electric wiring part onto the beast you’re trying to kill. But that’s just me. Just don’t smash any ornaments if you use it like a racket.
Just watching husband using it has made this a worthwhile purchase! It works well, although I find it a little macabre.
Should be and probably a good product. However untested as haven’t seen a fly since I received it. So therefore I can recommend it as a great deterrent!
Did what it says out of the box. Do like the blue arc and crack sound when it takes a fly out!
An amazing product for a summers day when you have unwanted visitors. Can easily deal with small flies and will stun larger blue bottles unless you hold it down for a few seconds. Unlike using items such as a rolled up newspaper, the flies seem to not see this coming. Recommend!
I’ve had one or two zappers in the past which have generally been a little flimsy and lightly fry the flys/wasps I catch. Whereas this product absolutely does what it says on the tin, loud crack and they are sorted! One thing I do have to add is that the batteries supplied weren’t working very well, but after replacing them the product has been absolutely fine. Have recommended to my colleagues at work!!
Bought this product as I’ve had an increasing number of flys in my apartment and I’ve found this product is super effective with dealing with them. Would highly recommend anyone in a similar position to buy the product and try it out!
This item is brilliant really effective at killing flies and wasps. I have been taking it with me when visiting my daughters as the horrible insects wouldn’t let us sit in peace in the garden. Would certainly recommend it.
The spark off it gave me a fright the first time I used it. Very effective. Works as described. Not for the faint of heart.
Initially, we weren’t sure what to expect because of our previous experiences but it’s been really easy to use and it’s been working wonders within my home. It works quickly and is very low effort.

unlike my previous zapper this product is so much more robust. It feels really well made and can handle any fly both big or small.
This will kill flies in most circumstances but occasionally only stuns them and you have to finish them off by hand, or foot. It is the same with wasps. But having stunned them you can kill them easily. The head could do with being a little bigger.
Great zapper, those pesky flies irritate me no end and with this around they either buzz off away and never to be seen again, or dry and also never seen again ;-). Good purchase, quick delivery. Great comms with seller, highly recommend
Really good, only had to replace batteries once in the time we’ve had it. Convenient and better for the environment than bug spray. Really easy to use, just press a button and zap. Occasionally struggles with tiny flies but three tries and you’ll get it. Really good for price.
Great little bat, thickness of handle etc is good, actual metal circle section could be a little bigger but makes it more of a challenge!
It is not so effective against midges and very small insects but flies are the perfect size to get trapped between the metal wires and create the electrical circuit that instantly kills them. I was quite impressed with how efficient it is and I would recommend it.
A good item for the price, although the racket head could be a little larger to make it easier and for better accuracy!

Bought this for my girlfriend as a joke present for her birthday since she hates flies, and she loves it! You need to use it a few times as the first time only stuns them.
This tennis racket of doom is by far the most effective way to get rid of flying demons. Mosquitos, flies, gnats have not a single prayer in my house when this zapper is in my hand. Some bigger flies need a couple of zaps, as do wasps, but this piece of kit is very effective nonetheless. Would buy again.
This is an excellent product – well made, robust and very effective at zapping the pesky fruit flies. Not sure how we’ve coped without this for so long. I have no hesitation in recommend this to other prospective buyers.

This bug zapper does exactly what it promises! The product arrived quickly, in really good packaging and with clear instructions. Batteries are included. We were plagued with flies during the hot weather and with the zapper, we are fly-free! I did find putting the battery casing back slightly tricky, but this is minor. Goid value for money.

I bought this to replace a 1 shop version, thinking it might not be much better,I was wrong! This is so effective and the noise of a fly exploding is oddly satisfying. Whole family fight over it!

It is easy to use; no chemicals and most importantly it works.
Smaller than my last one but easier to wield. Very satisfying explosions when in contact with bugs etc. Kills first time. Good value for money. The battery compartment cover is a bit flimsy though and does fall off.
Great fun if you hate flies, this thing really does zap them, i mean if one gets stuck it gets cooked in seconds and it stinks, but it is good.
A tip to get the little buggers….dont bat at them like you are playing tennis…

This product gives a very satisfying CRACK when you get a fly. We recently had a ST Marks fly swarm so walking for our daily exercise wasn’t pleasant. We took this item with us and it made it slightly more bearable.
You need to remove the bodies or it won’t work as they complete the circuit rendering it unusable. But that’s easily done.
I would recommend this for insect control in the home.
Uodate: still going strong, I wasn’t sure how quickly it’d drain the batteries but we’re still on the first set. Will update after the summer to see how long they’ve lasted!
This is fantastic! It does exactly what it says on the packet, kills bugs. It’s really light weight so your not waving around a heavy item. The only sound that happens is when it comes into contact with a bug. Definitely recommend this product.
I normally have a bad reaction to mosquito bites therefore this racket is a great addition to get them away from me. Great activity and good exercise chasing flys away though.
No hesitation recommending the Bug Zapper. Easy to use and effective without having to clean surfaces of dead flies, wasps etc. Great value.
Perfect if you want to get rid of those annoying flies. You may need to get the bigger ones twice but it stuns most first time
It does the job. You just keep the button pushed while catching the fly to get through the head of the Zapper. Simple as that. Woks for well.
I’ve been chasing flies all around the house zapping them, just love the sound it makes when you get one. If you’re really good you can get the little critters to smoke too!

First of all, it’s really very practical. You can take it out to BBQ and travel. It’s not particularly heavy, so don’t worry about your hands will be very tired. Mosquitoes and flies will die as soon as they are touched, and don’t worry about these annoying guys any more.
I was a little concerned that I bought a novelty swatter but I was wrong! This works really well and it effectively gets rid of any flies in the house – it has been really handy especially with the warm weather that we have been having recently. I’m very glad I bought this purchase.
Does exactly what is says it will do! Not gonna sugar coat it… It kills, but at least I can rest knowing that horrible buzzing noise won’t be in my face all the time. Great product.
This product does as it says. It is very good and the noise level is ok. My only criticism is on the second day the cover for the battery compartment becomes loose. I have to place a tape around it to keep it in place. Otherwise , it is an excellent product.
Added later: The battery has become loose. Had to tape it up but still working.
This bug zapper is excellent. It’s light weight and easy to use and it’s not too noisy when zapping bugs. As I have been spending more time in my garden, this bug zapper has become very useful. I am so happy with my purchase. I am giving this 5 stars, I would definitely recommend this.
It’s worth spending the extra buck to buy this. It’s so much better quality than the cheaper one’s that you might find in local pound stores; and boy does it do the trick!
Bought this as a back up to our other zapper! Live in North Bristol where we got a bad flu problem. The zapper is brilliant! Loud but brilliant! One swipe big crackle and they have had it! Brilliant!!!!
When you can hit them it’s great. Be handy if the bat was slightly bigger.
Excellent value, easy to use although catching flies can be frustrating, not due to the catcher just the difficulty in guessing where they’re going to fly. Lethal when you do catch them though.

Everyone loves this, a bit freaky the first few times you use it because it’s like Thors hammer with lightening coming out of it. Only downside is I’ve lost the battery lid, not very well secured.
Now summer has arrived and the windows are constantly open, it’s no surprise that flies and mosquitos are coming in constantly and being a pain in the backside.
This pest zapper is brilliant, powerful and evaporated all annoying, flying insects upon impact! Brilliant, although it was on the more expensive side (than its poundland alternative) – it’s much better built and will hopefully last longer too.
It was delivered via prime so I received it the say after I ordered . It came inside a large box and was inside a plastic bag .
There is a battery cover which you remove . I am right handed , so on the right side of the Bat there is a small button to press which electrifies the metal struts inside the head of the bat when you press the button a red led light shows you that the electric field is live , this works much the same as a traditional bug zapper , other than it doesn’t use an electricity supply as it is powered by batteries . It’s very lightweight but really does work . Hubby is using it to swat flies as I type this . I have seen the same type of fly swat cheaper but this one is better quality and I would totally recommend i
I found this to be a good item which certainly whacks a punch, with the added protection screens which help prevent the user accidently touching the wires. The only downside for which I deducted 1 star is the battery cover which doesn’t like to stay in place.
Great for some flies but too big and it doesn’t work first time you have to whack them and sometimes crush the larger flies in between the metal and racket. Too small and they can fly through. Could be a great product but needs some tweaking
