It didn’t take me long to put them on the max strength. The “grip weight” doesn’t reflect the weight on but they are good for home use. Just do loads of reps.
There will be more accurate grip strength trainers, but if you’re just getting into it then they do the job perfectly. Decent value for money.
It should be noted that these are 99p on Aliexpress but you’ll be waiting a long time for delivery so it’s probably best to buy through Amazon and make use of Prime.
They are ok, only been using them for one day and already regret buying the version with a click counter.
The clicking noise is annoying and it only goes to 99, I think it’s a little pointless.
I wish I’d paid less for a pair without clicker, but you can very easily remove it, see my video.
It’s alright for the price, the clickers (counters) are a little loud, but isn’t too bad, definitely too loud for an office though.

I use this for arthritis stretching exercises. It is excellent for that purpose. My only complaint is that the counter reset button doesn’t do anything, but since I don’t mind doing 100 repetitions with each session, resetting the counter to zero is not a problem…
Gutes Produkt um ein bisschen die Unterarm und die Grief- Muskulatur zu trainieren. Einziges Problem ist das die Spannung mit der Benutzung nachlsst. Es werden zwei stck geliefert, da ich aber meistens nur eins davon benutze habe ich bemerkte, das die Spannung von den oft benutzen Stck langsam nachlsst im Gegensatz zum anderen den ich nicht so oft benutze.
Aber an sich ein Gutes Produkt.

These are great! Very durable and you definitely feel it after doing 100 on each hand. Convenient counter and weight adjustment on the side. Definitely worth the money.
These work as advertised. They count, if you’re into that. I usually squeeze away until muscle fatigue, so the novelty of the counter wore off quickly for me. Fear not, the counter assembly pops out! I put a small square of felt on the handle where the two squeezed parts meet and VOILA – silence!
I bought these for my son. He is enjoying using them. There is a neat counter that is helpful.
I actually really like the product but; the rep count is inaccurate and trying to reset it to 00 is a pain in the but. The difference in adjustment on the grips is laughable. If you set the 2 grips up indicating the same amount of resistance on the built in scale they are wildly different. To set up them both to the same resistance the scale shows they are about 25% different. So some serious quality control issues there.
All that being said they are comfortable to use and work for their intended purpose.
Use this all the time and I can definitely see a difference between before and after I started using it.
There is not enough range of motion to make it as effective as it should be. In addition, the pinky and the 4th finger have the largest range of motion while the stronger to fingers have very little. This device should be reversed with the spring on the bottom. The counter is very cheaply done, but it works.

Used one at a time while on the gazelle. The first one’s spring broke after approximately 2200 squeezes. I’m on the second one at about half that. Durability at this price is acceptable.
Bought this at the end of august 2022. Metal just broke on one today (only one I use, on max weight), mid December 2022.
It works as expected. You can adjust the strength. It also has an automatic counter to track your exercise. Good product.

I’ll be honest, after a year of regular use mine broke a bit past the middle setting. That’s fine though because they’re super cheap and will last long enough for you to figure out if you wanna invest in better ones or not.
I was recommended for hand therapy to use a hand grip trainer to regain my strength. I like the audible and tactile feedback with the counter as well as the adjustable weight. However the product did not come in best condition, as indicated by the attached photo. The handles are scuffed and look damaged by something. Cosmetics aside, they get the job done and are pretty useful.

The one hand trainer snapped where the spring connects to the tension control. I still have the other one, and that seems fine for now.
Fit for purpose IF you do not need the Rep Counter feature, as this is weak and mine broke upon first use.
I know you can use any one for both left or right hands, but what i noticed is that they are specifically made for the right hand because when used with the left hand the couter is not visible but instead on the other side which the user cannot see. You have to stop, then turn it around to view the counter. Not a big deal but a little annoying.
So far it’s getting the job done and functioning as expected. Good buy!
Mine makes noise when squeezed but still good enough for the price
I not only use it as a hand grip but also put it on maximum setting and hold it between my two hands with my arms at shoulder high’t and depress it at different settings of my arms. I do about a hundred depresses and let me tell you it will strengthen your shoulders and chest muscle’s.

You can increase the the grip up to 60kg. The grip handle is comfortable and it also has a digit counter which is very handy for keeping track of your progress, especially if it’s for physio strengthening after surgery on hand and wrist. This is the best one I have ever bought!!!
Got these at a bargain price and very pleased with them. They have a little click counter on them which is really useful for setting targets and keeping track of what you’ve done. Sturdy grip and seem well made so very happy. You do get two for the price whereas a lot of others on Amazon only provide one for your money.
Adjustability is good. One of the clicker counters stopped working though.

These things really work well. They are easy to adjust and the tension feels constant throughout the compression of the device. The only improvements I would hope for would be in the functionality that enables you to set the tens and ones counters to zero. Currently you have to press and button and turn a knob. During this procedure the ten’s and one’s parts of the dial spin allowing you to get to zero/zero. However, the ten’s dial seems to spin in half increments. So it looks like you’re at position “9.5” or “0.5” while you’re attempting to reset the dials to zero/zero. Thus I have to go-through spinning the dials a couple times before the tens place appears to be close to zero; it never gets exactly on zero until you start using it. I find that frustrating.

Feels well made apart from the counter. It can be annoying trying to reset the counter as the controls feel very flimsy and the numbers tend to misalign.
My only complaint is that if you are using your left hand the counter only benefits the right hand. I was hoping the clicker would be reversed on one of them but it isn’t they both benefit the right hand. Other than that they are great.

I simply love them! You can fine-tune the resistance level, the grip is fantastic, they are super light, and you even have the counter and the click sound that does not let you cheat … I could not think of anything better to be honest.

I just received these. I like how easy it is to adjust the grip strength needed (grey knob clockwise to increase) but it would be nice if you had a better idea where on the 10-130 lb scale you are. You just have to eyeball it & estimate. There’s about 13 full rotations of the grey knob from one end to the other but I don’t think the first 3-4 change anything, so 4 rotations to get to about 10 lbs and then each after that adds about 13 lbs. I just set them at what I can squeeze. I’m sure I’ll never get to the 130lbs! They look and feel like they will be quite durable. I don’t like the counter. To be more precise, it counts ok (goes to 99 & resets to 0) but the reset button is awful. Quite tricky to wind it back to 00 without one or the other going over. I found if I wound it to 97 or 98 and then click it a couple of times I can get it to 00 that way. Still I don’t really need that accurate of a count anyway but it might be important to some people.
I’ve been using these whenever possible in order to improve my grip strength as I want to take up callisthenics. The grips are reliable and never slip and it’s easy to adjust the tension. Overall good product.
Does what it says on the tin, comfortable to hold, easily adjustable. The only negative was the counter doesn’t work properly but doesn’t impact on the ability to use them
Great value for money at the price I paid. Grips and good and easy on the hands. Doesn’t creak or judder under tension like my last one did (which eventually snapped). Its 60kg rating seems ambitious (its about the same as my old 40kg one at max extension). As some other reviewers have said you do get incentivised for leaving a positive review. I did think about laying out 40 for a super fancy one but the reality is that if I get a years use out of each one then its all good/a genuine 5*.

Love these little Grip Strength Trainers, my hands, arms and wrists were weakened by a stroke and I am using them to get my strength back. They are brilliant because it allows you to gauge your resistance so I’ve started on the lowest resistance and I will increase as I getstronger. I also read that these Strength Trainers can aid in lowering blood pressure, I’ve had these a day and already my blood pressure is coming down!! Best buy this year!

Bought one for home and one for work (where I spend a lot of time on the phone so I always look for something to play with in my hands during calls) and I am pretty much addicted, I can feel the difference in my fingers and forearms already.
Could be made better by extending each grip a little and adding more padding to the palm grip but overall they are great value for money and I am happy to recommend.

These grip strengtheners are a great asset to anyone training in climbing, tennis, or recovering from a hand or wrist injury. The adjustable settings allow this to be beneficial for the weakest and the strongest of people. It is also great as it allows you to track your progress. The equipment is durable and the counter is also a great addition. One negative of the product is that for me, a male with larger hands, the grip is slightly too short which can lead to some discomfort when using for extended periods. Also, it would be great if the weight adjustment was more accurate so you could better see what weight you are working at. Overall I would fexcoment purchasing
For 2 days I researched hand str grip devices because I started playing tennis & oftentimes, the handle turns in my hand thus need to str my grip.
Looked at pic & descriptions and about 4 or so looked alike..all had the 5-60 kg adjustment and some reviews said the 60kg is really 50kg as compared to Gold gym’s hand grip so I knew the force may not be what is advertised…accepted that should that be the case.
Then settled down on one which costs $4.00 more than this pair ( for 2 grips)…so clicked on it but scrolled down & there were other options….one was this set which I purchased.
Looked at it but it had only a couple reviews but pic looked alike and stats were the same as the others so I figured, for 4.00 less give it a try & ordered it thinking at worse would be out of $4.00 less but in ad was mentioned a $$ back guarantee…ok, why not.
They arrived & looked like the pic but with it was that $5.00 pamplete as mentioned above.
Well, tried them out …they came at a setting of 5Kg…was easy to squeeze. so moved it up: half-way up…the one I could tell was changing cause slight resistance was felt from turning the the tension wheel.
Then I tried the other & it offed no resistance…I thought…must be broken…but looked at it & sure enough it did move 1/2 way to the 60kg ( each may now be at 35 kg…adjust by eye sight looking at where marker on which the spring is attached to the numbers on the plastic handle markers 5-60kg).
Squeezed them at this higher setting & did 25 with each hand…could tell it took much more effort to do this & that was all I could do….concluded one tension wheel was slightly more easy to turn than the other….both worked. And the grip handle felt good. was easy to hold onto while squeezing.
Ok so if I am to do a review..really need to test more so moved each tension bar to max =60Kg…could not do either with 1 hand but using 2 hands did each a couple times. Thus tension does incr. everything held up..plastic grip handles were solid.
Now I do not know if it actually was 60 kg ( keeping in mind what was said with reviews of other grips that looked like this one & had same stats ( 5-60kg)
But to be honest…I am not a body builder & this set suits my purposes…maybe some day I can get closer to the 60kg. Also had the grips for 24 hrs and thus do not know how they will perform in 6 mos, a year from now but they do have a money back guarantee…so, what have I to loose.
These grips work & suit my purposes…they are very reasonably priced so my thought…give them a try: I am satisfied with them, they work. Now, after using them for a few weeks will learn if I can hold that tennis racquet in my hand and it not turn at times when I hit the ball….once that is achieved, my ultimate goal will have been reached
