Product provides protection, but be very careful no resistances to steam vapour.
Can only hold onto hot surface for 10 secs at a time with out burning fingers or hand.
These heat resistant gloves were delivered promptly. When removed from the packing, I noticed that one (tape) hanging loop was loose, but as I’m unlikely to hang them up anyway, it wasn’t a big deal. I have medium sized hands for a man, and the gloves were a reasonable fit for my fingers, BUT the palms are much wider than my hands. The sleeves extend well up my forearms. Overall, the gloves are quite bulky, but I was able to pick up metal kebab sticks easily.
In use they are quite comfortable, and certainly protect against short-term heat from my BBQ.
It remains to be seen how they last, and especially how they stand up to washing.
Excellent do the job…just a bit big the gloves but do the job definitely without burning your hands..
Basically don’t leave them in the sun. Cus they will get very hot.
Good size oven gloves as I’ve got big hands, but fit perfectly with room for more. 4* for heat resistance as not as good as my old standard cotton ones that these replaced. Not used for bbq yet so cannot comment.
Use these with my log burner when putting more coal or logs on – fully protect hands and lower arms – highly recommend

Couldn’t justify 30 for some well known bbq brands. These will do for the few minutes you need them on tipping your chimney starter content onto the grill.

I have used these gloves to lift up a hot cast-iron grill that had been heated above lit coals, without issue. I have also used them when turning kebab skewers over the BBQ and (although probably over-kill for this task) it kept the heat at bay making it much more comfortable. The downside to these gloves is that if they get wet, then the heat-proofing is significantly reduced, otherwise these have been ideal for my usage and I would recommend them.
Bought them for my new smoker and you truly can not feel any heat. Work perfectly! They go up your sleeve and therefore protect the forearm too!
Very impressive product, I used to get burns from moving logs or making tea on the fire with a tea pot (traditional way). But with these gloves, your hands are safe and sound.
Nice thick gloves but still easy to grab things and work around the BBQ. Nice length around the wrist as well. Have used them a couple of times and looking forward to some sunshine to put them in use further. Happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for decent pair of BBQ gloves.
Simply, these do the jobs. I was (1) getting sick of my pot holder that doubles as an oven mitt, (2) I don’t really like using mitts because the lack of finger grips, and (3) BBQ season is coming so something that can serve as both would be great. Enter these gloves. There is really not much I can say except for the fact that they do the job. You don’t get perfect insulation (you can still tell that the boiling thing you are holding is warm), but that is good enough for me. Plus, the idea of complete insulation scares me a bit as I should know if I am holding something hot.
One tiny dissatisfaction is the fact that these are free-size and I have tiny hands… But I don’t expect something like these having different sizes, and honestly they work fine being slightly big for me.
These gloves can be used with a BBq or in the oven – and really protects well .

Product arrived very quickly
Noticed that the gloves area bit on the large size however this means it is really easy to slip them on and off as you are barbecuing.
The gloves goes half way up to your elbow so when reaching over you wrists and bottom half don’t get burnt or hot
Also used them as oven gloves and are great – much better than oven mitts

hese gloves offer great value for money. they seem to be made of good quality materials and i believe will last a long time if used correctly. i wasn’t impacted by the heat on my gas nor charcoal BBQ. they were slightly bigger on my hands but were snug and comfortable on the wrist. will be using these more often.
Great BBQ and oven gloves it can resist a lot of heat and is comfortable.
Really like the black colour on these gloves and they provide high level of protection as they go up your sleeve a lot.
Don’t buy if you have really small hands it won’t fit!

After buying a set of the usual thick mitten type oven gloves for the removing baking tins from the oven, (which are useless as you can’t grip anything) i came across these oven gloves. Have used them now on multiple occassions and have to say, wow, They do exactly what they claim and removing hot tins from the oven is now no longer a problem. I actually held the chip tray (In photo) fro near a minute before the heat started to come through. Plenty of time to remove & do whatever you need.
The gloves are fairly long and go up your arm for extra protection against touching the hot side of the oven. Overall these are a great addition to our kitchen & i can highly recommend these to any budding baker out there. Can’t wait for the summer to try them on the BBQ……..
The non-slip is also very good: there is no danger of dropping things, for instance a mug of boiling water.

The gloves are really grippy so have been a very useful replacement for oven gloves in our home. Planning a barbecue at the weekend where they will get even more use.
My oven gloves arrived quickly and well packaged. The gloves fitted me well, I liked the way they also covered well past my wrist, protecting a good portion of my arm.
I tried them out first on a hot grill pan, it was much easier handling the pan than with a normal oven glove, being able to use all the fingers were beneficial to the grip. Also benefitting the grip were the silicon pattern on the glove which held the hot pan firmly and safely.
Next I tried the hot glass bowl from my halogen oven, once again I was very pleased with the protection.
I was very impressed with the barbecue glove and would be happy to recommend to others.
