LED Decking Light RGB Waterproof IP67 Timing Music Sync
LED Decking Light RGB Waterproof IP67 Timing Music Sync Ø45MM DC12V Recessed Deck Light with Dynamic Color Changing Lighting for Terrace/Patio/Path/Wall/Garde
Really great lights. Look fantastic in the decking. We had an issue with some of the lights in the 20 pack not working, however the company replaced the non working lights and were very communicative and courteous. Would highly recommend them.
Light source brightness: streamer, color light, two modes
Style: a variety of colors, brightness, speed can be changed simultaneouslyAPP has 100 built-in lighting modes and DIY lighting modes
Product material: high-quality stainless steel and PC materials, dustproof and waterproof
Light source color: change at will, depending on your own interest
Easy to Install: lights are detachable and in parallel connection, drill some 45MM mounting hole and just plug in
It is very convenient to use comparative control or can use Alexa (Echo) to achieve voice control
These are exactly what we needed to finish our big garden decking step project, the last thing we needed were some more lights as were a few short for some additional steps we had built and as these were the same style they came to the rescue!
My Partner had his friend install these as long as the others as he’d done it before and my Partner was scared to drill into our new steps but these work perfectly and look fantastic, they’re bright and really illuminate the steps and make them look fantastic at night.
These pair up with Alexa and you can use your phone to adjust colour and settings and there’s some really pretty, stunning effects, they’re really easy to use. Recommended, great set of lights and good value too.
In the box you get 6 x RGB Desking Lights, Controller, Remote Control inc. Battery, Screw a& Spare Washers and Instructions. Now, I will say that the instructions are fine for installing the lights and you do get a button layout of the remote control. With the App, you just must find you way around. They are powered from a standard UK plug socket. Each light has a male and female connector, so you can join these together in series.,
Setting the lights up is relatively easy but you do really need the App to access the full functionality of them. As with many Apps, you must sign up and give an email address, password and link it to your Wi-Fi. It does frustrate me personally, that I need to disclose my email address juts to use the App. Once you have gone through all of that you just add the set to the App, and you are away.
I would not say the lights are overly bright but it depends on what you are after but there are plenty of modes to play around with including Static, Flow, Loop, Fading, Run, Overlay, etc. There are also buttons for brightness, on/off, speed, etc. The timer function allows you to set them to turn off. You also have the option of setting 4 x DIY modes and there is music sync.
I must confess to struggling a bit with the music sync functionality, as it seemed like I needed to use the remote and App together to get this aspect to work. Also, on the App, you can use the App Mic or Device Mic, but I could not get the lights to sync with external around. Only music being played on my tablet. I did play around with my settings but to no avail. In fact, when using the App, you can access over 100 different modes. Which should keep most people busy.
Another thing I like about these lights is that they can be controlled via your Smart Homes set-up, in my case amazon Alexa.
One of the big plusses with this set, is that is uses the newer Dreamcolor technology, which enables you to have greater control over what the lights are doing. They are not individually addressable but close to. You do need to spend some time with both the remote and App to fully understand the capability of each.
I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.
Huge array of functionality but issue with external Mic within the app.] & msuci syncing
We’re updating our garden and have purchased a lot of decking lights, but this is the first time I’ve had chasing effect ones, which are rather novel to me, and although not a ‘must’ but are a ‘nice to have’ as an option.
The first things to say is that these are pricey for six lamps, even though they are whizzy in functionality. At 54.99 (at the point of review), these equate to 9.16 per light, going down to 4 per light if you buy a pack of 100, and a sliding scale for other sized packs.
These smart decking lights come with lots of options for operating them, including Alexa or Google Home, by the Magic Home app, all using Wi-Fi, or through Bluetooth using the supplied controller (which can also use Wi-Fi). So you have low tech and high tech solutions, depending on your needs, with lots of customisable functions available.
This small starter kit provides six lights, a controller, a power supply, with a built-in high-sensitivity microphone, manual and one T connector (if you’re just installing up to twenty lights this won’t be needed). The lights are very robustly made, so can be installed in high footfall areas where they are walked over, and have IP67 certification for waterproofing across all items that could be exposed to the elements. This set can be expanded with other sets of lights using the same controller and plug, so that’s always useful if you’re starting small but are thinking of adding over time.
Overall these are quality lights, but you do pay for that quality and the functionality this set brings. If you spend a great deal of your time in the garden and will use the functionality provided with these lights then they would likely be worth the investment, but generally for me I think these are a ,title highly priced and they lose a star for that reason only.
This is a quality set of deck lights, well made and thought out.
The set comes with the lights, a power supply and WiFi receiver, remote control and a ‘T’ connector. Essentially you can connect the power supply to an outdoor socket (or indoor one and run the cable through a hole) then connect the in-line WiFi controller (optional). From here you daisy-chain the deck lights at 50cm intervals.
The ‘T’ connector allows you to spur off another set from the main controller or from between lights.
You can connect the lights to Bluetooth or Smart Home app (if Wifi is available near the controller) and have the option to then have Alexa control over them. Options include lighting effects, changing colour and brightness, etc. Personally these are a bit “flashy” if you forgive the pun. Much better used to give mood lighting (such as blood red during Hallowe’en for example).
These aren’t cheap and although you can use them with white lights as well (which are much cheaper) the effect is spoilt a bit. I’ll need to save up and get a bigger set to give an overall effect for my whole decking.
I am amazed by these lights, I can see where the money has been spent on them. First off all of the bezels on the lights are made of metal, as opposed to plastic, this adds a certain premium look to them.
So, to first use, connect up the DC adapter to the main, the WiFi adapter to that, and then daisy link the lights in using the connectors. The connectors slot together securely with a rubber o-ring and a screw seal to finish it off creating a water tight seal. I have no doubt that these will keep water out.
The app is easy to download, simply scan the QR code on the WiFi adapter and it takes you there. Setting up the lights to the all is quick and painless and there are so many features on there.
First up, you have timers – set when you want the lights to come on automatically and in whatever colour you want.
You can play music through the app and the lights will change in time with the music. But what if you don’t have music on your phone and want to use a music streaming service? Well there’s an option for that! Turn on mic mode and out your phone near the speaker, the lights change with the music!
You can also link this to an Alexa and control it that way (I haven’t tested it as I don’t have Alexa).
These are a premium set of soffit lights with a software package to match. And they are versatile, they can be used in soffits, kick boards, decks or stairs and all on a 13 amp plug.
The lights look very smart and I am extremely happy with them and they will create a nice decorative ambience to the garden.
These are so small and neat and are totally IP67 waterproof.
The fact they link up with Alexa is a bonus for me.
I love the ability to change colour to suit the mood.
They have excellent wiring that links them up to as many as you want to use out of the set.
Stainless steel finish will stand up to the outside elements for some time to come.
Has a mains adapter, additional Wi-fi controller box and a remote control that I won’t need to use.
I wasn’t planning on using these on a deck, more inclined to use them under soffits?
Priced about right I think?
This set of deck lights is amazing. Each light has a hole size diameter of 30mm, and the top ring size is the 45mm diameter you see a lot in the description. They have 25cm section of cable from each side of the light so maximum you can put them apart is about 45cm really without using an extension cable.
Most important as its not mentioned in the description anywhere is what app they use, it’s the magic home pro app, which is actually pretty good, lots of feature and easy to add the lights too, then you connect it to your Alexa app for voice integration and it works very well for on/off and changing the colours.
In the kit you also get a termination cover for the last light in the row and screws to attach the power block and Wi-Fi block to a wall etc. You also get a remote control which has loads of modes you can select as well as colours but i find the app and Alexa much easier.
Overall, A great set of 6 deck lights but at 56.99 they are very expensive and need some sort of deal on them, this is the only real downside to them.

Nice patio lights which I put along the side of the steps.
Easy to connect as I wired and plugged it outside my external electrics.
Gives a nice warm white light and looks beautiful at night.
I got the set of 6 and its a good number and plenty to give your garden a nice feature.
