These lights are well-made, and feel sturdy. They can be mounted on a vertical surface like a fence, or a wall, or the stakes can be used to put them in the ground. The stakes come in three pieces that can be used to achieve different heights. The lights can also be used on their own on stairways, shelves, or tables, indoors or out, to provide light wherever it’s needed, and they make great flashlights. At 50% power these lights are bright. At 100% power they’re blinding. The sensor is super sensitive, and picks up my movement before I get to the light. The lights stay on for only 25 seconds. I wish that was a little longer.

I tested the lights to see how long they would stay on with a full charge at continuous 50% power.

    Light #1: 13 hours; #2: 14 1/2 hours; #3: 15 1/2 hours; #4: 18 1/2 hours.

These lights are bright, stay on for a long time, and can be used in different ways. I like them a lot, and have found them to be very useful.

FYI: Solar lights can be charged by any light source, incandescent, halogen, CFL, or LED.

Installed Linkind Solar Pathway Lights on the wall along a dark pathway yesterday. Now at night, we are pleased to see the softly lite pathway. As we walk along the pathway, the motion detectors switch the lights to bright as we approach, perfectly lighting our way.

Pros: Solar Charging, Motion detection work as claimed.

Cons: For wall mounting, the slot for the screw head is a little too narrow, I had to ream the slot out a bit before it would slide on the screw head.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCome ho titolato, ho fatto un ottimo acquisto, leggendo le vostre recensioni.

    OTTIMO ACQUISTO! 👍

A set of four solar powered downlighters. The height is adjustable between six and 12 inches, and they are turned on via a simple switch on the top. Each downlighter comes with a removable ‘snowflake’ projection cel, but you will only get this effect on a very smooth surface, and as these are designed for putting into grass or soil with a spike, it seems a bit redundant.

They are made completely of plastic, though as they won’t suffer any wear and tear in situ this hardly matters, but i think it does make them expensive at nearly 8 quid each. The major cavil, as always in the UK, is that they need 6-8 hours of sunshine a day to work effectively in the evening, and how often do we get that here?

This is a pack of four solar lights, it comes in a colourful retail package and would make a good gift item.
The four lights simply push together and when done have a ground spike like many / most other similar solar lights.
These can be set to cycle through a set pattern of different colours and I have admit I have set them so they are all out of sync because I know it will drive my youngest daughter nuts!
They make quite a nice display and throw out more light than a coloured set of lights should!
They come on a dusk and stay on all night, well in high Summer at least!
    Happy to help.

This set of 4 Linkind solar outdoor garden lights arrived boxed and required simple and quick assembly.
Stakes were easy to insert in to the ground.

The measurements are exactly as per listing description, height is adjustable.

Lamps look and feel well made from a good quality plastic, strong and durable.

Shades are seethrough with some frosted parts, so light is nice and bright.

These lamps charge well during sunny days, little bit worse during bright but not sunny days.
When charged well they stay ON until the early morning.

I like that they project nice pattern on the ground. The shape/projection is well visible on my tiled patio, but a bit worse on the grass.
These lamps have 3 lighting modes to choose from.

Well made, bright, but a bit pricey with a regular price of 29.99, currently on offer with 20% off voucher taking the price down to about 24.

Pack of four solar led garden lights that come in two types multicoloured or warm white . These are just adjustable in height by adding or removing the stems, they are nothing to look at being black plastic but at night you get a lovely display of eight colours with a lovely pattern on the ground. They are really nice in a pot to give extra height and show off the pattern even more. They have a button on the outside to search through the colours which for me is a first with these types of lights.

I wanted garden lights that actually light up the immediate area & finally found these which really are bright & week built. They are also physically bigger than your typical garden lights & have a larger solar panel & battery. As it’s only been a couple of months since I installed them I can’t comment on longevity or if that will survive winter. Overall very happy.

Simple spike in to the ground with desired length, ensure enough sunlight during the day, and you will have a few path lights dotted around @ dusk.
The patterns looking good, shinning nice and bright on the ground.
The battery life seems pretty good, still running at midnight – at beginning of July.
No wiring and electric bills to worry about.
Good price for under 30 with voucher.

You get a pack of 4, and get the choice between warm white colour with a or the RGB lights that I chose. They can be set to a series of different colours, high, or low light, or on a cycle setting where it gradually shifts between all of them. Battery life is between 6 and 12 hours depending on whether you select the high light setting (6 hours), or the low light/colour change mode (12 hours).
The manufacturers state that 4-6 hours of sunlight is enough to power these for up to 12 hours, but mine stood in the garden, in the sunlight all day, and only stayed on in low light mode for about 7 hours. I think this may be down to the batteries being totally flat when they arrived, and I am hopeful that as they recharge steadily over a period of a few days, that figure of 12 hours might be achieved. They differ from standard lights in that they cast a snowflake effect over the surrounding area, which is actually quite effective, and pretty.
The lights are really well made, waterproof, and come with sections that enable you to fix these at 4 different heights in your garden.
The current 20% discount voucher brings the price down to 28, or 7 a light, and that is pretty good value. I think they are a good buy, and I don’t think customers will be disappointed, so I am happy to give them my recommendation.

  42. Ian Aikman says:

General quality is pretty good, and they’re easy to set up.
Assemble the ground spike how you want it, switch on the unit (three modes; bright, dim and breathing that means it slowly goes dim & bright)… leave them in daylight to charge up.
The light output is quite bright too, and they spread the light downward and outward to cover the ground nearby with a lovely pattern.
Ideal for lighting up pathways for example, or put among flowerbeds to add some light which looks awesome when the sun goes down.
Are they worth the 34.99 for four at the time of this review? Well I have to say it seems a little expensive for what they are, but the quality is good and the light output is bright and looks good. I guess you pays your money you takes your choice!
You’d not be disappointed with these though, they do look good.

There are 4 half-sphere RGB color-changing lights in this set. The assembly is very easy and basically you do not need an instruction to make it work although it does comes with the package. The make is of high quality and the semi-transparent sphere helps to soften the LED colours when it’s on. It’s RGB LED so you can actually control the colour you like to have or even tune it to colour changing mode. They are waterproof so it’s ideal to setup in the garden. The battery life is very good. It actually managed to turn on from sunset till around 4 to 5am in the morning if the day is sunny. I would highly recommend this.

This set of solar-powered LED garden lights were extremely easy to put together and set up. Just connect the support pillars together for your desired height and push into the ground. After just a day, that evening the lights came on and stayed on all night. I am partial to the colour blue, so I have them set to the static blue, but there is a range of colours including modes where the colours change automatically. Not only are they pleasant to look at, but they provide some added security for our back garden as any potential intruders are less likely to try and come in if the garden is lit up, yet the light is not strong enough to annoy the neighbours.

Really nice lights and very pleasant to sit out and enjoy once it gets dark.

These are bright, vibrant and bold solar lights that are beautiful as the sun sets. We have LOADS of solar lights in all manner of varieties and I have to admit, I am surprised by just how bright these are even with only a few hours of spring sunshine – they are going to be amazing over the summer! So easy and simple to use. They arrive in parts, simply slot the spikes together to desired height – two to choose from – and slot into the light then place in ground. There is a button that allows you to choose the colour or mode you want – whether one colour or cycling through them and voil, you have yourself some bright coloured solar light! These may be slightly [pricier than others I’ve tried but I have to admit, these are well made, decent quality and will hopefully last a long time so I think this justifies the difference in price!

These aren’t cheap lights, but they are well made and really quite bright.

Each light has a small solar panel on the top where the power switch resides. You get a two-section stake to allow it to be placed in earth at various heights.

The lights come on at night and will stay on until dawn. There are various modes of single colours or different changing patterns. They are really effective and quite bright, throwing light all around. Good enough to follow a path or light plants, they look particularly effective around the edge of a pond.

The sit on spikes, you attach lengths to them, I’ve not used all the parts as I didn’t want them lovely high.

You can change the colour on each of the lights, press the button once for each colour, I choose the blue.

During the day they don’t look anything special but at night they are amazing, love the pattens the lights give, love them.

Easy to assemble: just slot the spike parts together, slot on the light and they’re ready. Once in place the top button easily lets you select which lighting colour or effect you want. We like the mode that cycles and changes the colours slowly. They are bright and colourful and last into the night well. They have also survived a few small children kicking balls into them and kept working so far. The mushroom shape and angle of light makes quite a large spread or pretty light. I picked these up as my current garden lights have all stopped working. This kit is slightly more expensive than I would usually use, however they have a much higher build quality and so far the light has been pretty bright with a solid few hours of use each day in the spring.
It comes with a spike and two poles which fit together easily and there is a power button on top to cycle between high, low and pulsing. I chose the warm white option as it looks great in the evening with a nice warm glow around the garden.
Considering how low to the ground they are they have a pretty good coverage and it helps to keep track of the dog when it’s dark.

Overall the high build quality makes these a good value for money and they seem to be losing really well in the garden.

These are the brightest solar lights in our garden by a long way and I haven’t even had them on the brightest setting yet, or needed it. They are lasting well into the early hours even on dull days and I have kept them so just the light is showing above the grass so literally just attached to their ground spokes – great for when the dogs go out for their late night toilet. Like the fact they can be used at three different heights and the button to switch on/off and choose brightness is bright red and on top of the unit with easy accessibility. All plastic but well constructed and feel sturdy.

These lights far surpassed my expectations. They arrive boxed with 3 lengths of ground spike, I put all 3 lengths together so that these sit about a foot and a half off the ground. They have a solar panel on top of the light along with a push button, this button when repeatedly pressed takes you through the array of colours until you stop at your choice, this will then illuminate your chosen colour once it gets dark, giving a colourful sunburst effect around the light. Each light in the pack of four are separate and not attached to each other by a wire, so they can be placed individually and set with different colours. In daylight these lights are discrete and unobtrusive but at night, they bring a wonderful display of light and give the garden an attractive glow. I love them!

These solar lights by Linkind are lovely when lit up. They’re available in a box of 4 and you can get cone or dome shaped with multi colour or warm white. I received the cone shaped multi colour to review, these are currently priced at 36.99

The lights need a small bit of assembly, but that’s easy enough to do, you have 3 stakes for each light and you can vary the size by using 1, 2 or 3. I used all 3 for my lights. You then need to press the red button on top of the light to turn it on. Each press changes the mode

I have attached photos showing the different light modes, and have set mine to multi colour and have attached a video of showing it changing colour at night. Really pretty, especially as the light reflects on the ground

The lights are made of ABS material and have a IP54 waterproof design. They need around 5 hours of sunlight during the day and will light up for around 12 hours at night

I think these lights look really pretty and I love the way it changes colour. Happy to recommend

I’m really happy with these solar powered lights. They are well made, out of strong plastic, nicely put together. The solar panel is good size so it can easily support the energy for the lights.
Lights came well packed in box along with instruction and ground spikes which can be adjusted by connecting more pole parts together (from minimum length of 21.7cm total with head up to 43.7cm at max from “head to toe”).
Lights are bright and vivid, beautiful. Near solar panel is red switch button which also works as mode setting and Off button too.
We can set only one colour for all lights, every light different colour or choose auto colour change. All of the lights are amazing, especially the bluish ones and auto changing ones.
Assembly is very easy, but instruction is also provided to make sure we do it correctly.
I think these lights are worth the price. We get 4 in the box and they are fantastic!.

I’ve installed two of them indoors next to the window and I was very pleased to see that they get enough light through the window and manage to stay on all night making it a gorgeous decoration while illuminating in nice and sharp colours creating a beautiful ambient light.
The light is projected towards the ground so they are more suitable as decorative / ambient lights as they will not light up a big area around them.
They are perfect for their purpose, very happy with them.

I have been using these garden lights outdoors for the past couple of nights and even in heavy downpours they are still working well. There are many different options of colour choices to choose from so you can adapt the lighting to your taste. I personally liked each light to be a different colour and thought it added a fun element but that’s just a personal preference.

These solar powered lights will light up a pathway well and can be used for illuminating plants in borders or for highlighting a particular favourite plant. The lights have 4 varying height levels and this is a great option as you may want the light to be taller or shorter in certain areas depending on where you are going to be placing them.

As long as the lights receive adequate sunlight during the day for around 5 hours they will automatically switch themselves on at night-time for approx 12 hrs, they are easy to push into the ground via the spike. I did have a screw that had come loose inside one of the lights that rattled around but it still worked fine. The lights are priced at 36.99 at time of writing and as you receive 4 that makes each light 9.25 per light (minus a penny) which i feel is a little on the expensive side hence the 4* stars.

Just the job for illuminating plants and pathways.

These lights worked the first day and night I fixed in my garden

Redoing my garden presently because of the past high winds, coming on and taking shape now

These stake solar lights are amazing, lots of different colours to choose, and the colours are bright and deep colours, not wishy washy.

The price pretty decent, I have loads of lights and all lit up whether summer or winter, however more livght and sun they receive, will last longer through the night.

As these are solar, saves on the electric.

Lovely to sit out in the evening and see it all lit up.

I have had these kinds for many years, and always bright, but these have a deepness about them, stunning

If you are undecided, don’t just take my word for it, buy them.

    Very highly recommended

    Thank you to the seller

I hope my review helps you

    These are a lovely surprise

These Linkind solar-powered post lights have a clever design that allows for a nice sizeable solar panel in the optimal location (on top1) while having a nice wide throw of illumination. Of course the range will differ if you opt not to install them at their maximum height – the lower to the ground the less area will be illuminated, but the light – and pattern – will be stronger. I found the radial striped pattern to be very distinct and effective.

The blurb says that you can opt for four different heights depending on how they are assembled, and they state heights of 44cm, 34cm, 32cm and 22cm – but this is disingenuous at best, as 17cm of these measurements constitute the actual spike, which will be mostly or entirely below ground! Great if you’re looking for something low-lying and close to the ground, but not the best choice if you want some height. The fact is that these are not particularly tall even at their maximum height (see accompanying images)

They are simple enough to set, with just one button – and that’s on top, no fiddling around underneath – just press to cycle through all of the colour options, static colour or cycling through them. It has a good range of vibrant colours and everyone should be able to find something they like.

I charged mine up with five hours of sunshine (it was a sunny April day with the temperature maxing at 20c) and they duly came on when darkness fell, displaying an impressive degree of colour, brightness and luminance. I also like the radial pattern displayed. They went on until daybreak, most impressive – but I shall have to see how long they can maintain that kind of performance over time.

I don’t think I’ve had any solar lights (other than floods) that could compare to the brightness of the Lnkind post lamps. The solar technology has improved notably over recent years, and these are some of the best.
For solar lights they are not exactly cheap, but – assuming they endure – I have to say this is a quality product that merits that price.

I really like these lights I would definitely recommend him I thought they were great I use them for my back garden. They worked out great there! The shades were made out of glass which helped the light shine through.

Great value colour change solar lights. So easy to install no wiring or drilling required, just push them into the ground, let them charge during the day and watch them automatically burst into colour at night fall. I love them!!!

Rather than go through and list all the product details that are already found in the product description – I will provide a practical review about this product.

The product arrived nicely packed and packaged. The instructions were included and were clear for setting up the lights. I like that there are several heights than you can choose from with the attachments provided. I put them in the garden near our drive so it is nice seeing the lights in the evening. They are low maintenance as once I put them down they just run on those own. The only downside is that it came missing know stake so I can only use 3 of the 4. I can of course put the 4th one in the ground however, the height won’t be the same as the other 3.

Whilst these are good and the effect at night really nice I don’t think that they are worth anything like the cost of nearly ten pounds each. Really think they have a lovely effect at night giving a glow that seems to filter outwards and downwards on the floor. We’ve got ours in our duck run and problem is ducks like them so much as give off a lot of light even in this grim glum weather they aren’t in a rush to go to bed.
Easy to fix into ground or a pot to make a feature. They look good don’t get me wrong stylish, modern but no if seeing them in a shop or garden wouldn’t put that kind of price tag on them at all.

At 43.99 (when ordered) what you receive is a pack of four overpriced solar powered lights, each light unit has the option of selecting seven different colours with three different shadow effects, and extension ‘poles’ are included for height adjustment. Depending on selection, each unit can produce a nice lighting effect, and each has a reasonably good battery discharge rate, especially during the winter months, when there’s very little sunshine to fully charge the battery during the day.

However, the product description states that these “solar garden lights are made of high strength ABS material” and “features a rechargeable 18650 lithium batteries and is solar powered”, which is all well and good, but what is the actual solar panel made of?

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is basically hard plastic that is derived from petroleum, so whilst ABS might not deteriorate and pollute the environment any day soon, its production is certainly not environmentally friendly.

The extraction of Lithium for rechargeable batteries is another thing entirely, it is extremely hazardous to the environment, and the carbon footprint is extensive. Even though we all play our part and recycle old batteries (Lithium-ion included), Lithium is very rarely actually recycled, because of the ‘costs’ involved in the process, it is considered ‘cheaper’ to continue mining for new material, at the expense of the environment, obviously.

There are two types of solar panels commonly available; one type is made of Polycrystalline Silicon, and the other is made of Amorphous Silicon, neither is environmentally friendly during manufacture, although Amorphous Silicon has marginally less impact.

Overall, as solar powered lights, these are pretty good, but you would probably be better off waiting to see if they are on offer in the near future, before hastily (and unnecessarily) parting with your money.

    4 quality solar lights.
Multi colour light functions can be solid colours or can put onto colour changing mode buy use of the power button on top of the solar light.
The lights are easily assembled they have poles that slot together that can determine how tall you want the lights to stand the bottom spike should be the steak to allow you to steak it into the ground easily.

If you twist the top panel of the light off you can attach a lense (plastic domes) there are 2 to choose from this will let the light reflect on surrounding surfaces in a pattern either waves or straight pattern. The doms are not essential if you leave them off the light will just reflect as a solid colour.
The solar panel is situated at the top of the light so make sure this is not blocked/obstructed by anything when you have it outside.
The lights will automatically switch on as it gets dark on a night then the following morning turn back off to start charging again during the day.

This time of year tho the charge doesn’t last aslong due to the short days and early nights. In the summer they Will stay on so much longer as they get alot more sun during the day.

This is a nice set of lights for lighting a path or driveway or in a garden bed. They can be set at a high light level or at a low level enabling the rechargeable batteries to last a lot longer. The light cast is good and the lights have a sturdy construction, better than ones I have had in the past. Their height can also be raised and lowered and there are two screens included which can be used to change the lighting effect from a plain glow, to that of a star-sunburst pattern on the ground, or a swirl effect sunburst pattern. The light is a soft, warm light which is nice. I have now added some nightime photos and the lights are set at the lower setting which has a maximum of 12 hours output. Even at this lower setting you can see that they are suprisingly bright. The higher and brighter setting can last up to 6 hours.
Given the quality and sturdy construction I think this helps justify the price which is probably a little higher than most sets. I think they are worth it. I am very pleased and very happy to recommend them.

WORTH THE PRICE. INTENSITY, HEIGHT AND LIGHT PATTERN ALL ADJUSTABLE. GOOD QUALITY SET.

I thought these were overpriced, before of course they arrived. You can see straight away the from the build quality that these are premium lights.

Instructions are clear and comes with all the necessary accessories you could imagine – including the variable hight bits and bobs. Very easy to fit the different light patterns (just a little plastic cap) and easy to toggle between the colours.

Once in the ground they obviously need to be getting sunlight, I though one of mine wasn’t working right before being at home in the day and seeing that i had placed it in a permanent shadow. Needless to say once I moved it it was working fine, unlike my brain at the time.

Love these, still feel it’s a bit costly but would 100% grab some in a sale.

Autumn is probably not the best time of year for solar colour changing lights and these were ordered for use over next summer. They have been “test run” and assemble easily and work well. Limited sunlight means they do not have much power but I would not expect anything else in November. They operate as well as some existing solar lights so I have no fear that they will work as required once we get into summer weather.

These garden lights are excellent. The solar panels are large, allowing for plenty of light to be stored and making the lights quite bright. They last all night and actually turn on and off automatically.

These have different colours and different colour combinations, easily set using one button on each (so you could do different styles on each one or all the same – up to you!).

They are well made and look great on a pathway. We love these and definitely recommend them.

Impressive looking and quite sturdy garden lights…Ive put a few of these through their paces over the last few months….but the sun is well an truly on the wane…and even these lights are struggling to get enough juice during the day. Out of the box…they burned brightly for several nights before packing up …I;m sure only due to lack of rays…I imagine they will make a recovery when the brighter sunlight returns next year.

The price of these Linkind Solar Path Lights are somewhat eyebrow-raising, but it is apparent upon unpacking and inspecting them that the price is not the only thing about these lights that is considerably above par; the build quality is immediately evident, and it’s not hard to see why they are priced so much higher than other solar path lights.

The ABS materials is extremely robust and has a nice finish, and at 110mm (4.33″) in diameter the solar panel and battery housing provides a generously sized solar panel and a hefty rechargeable 18650 lithium battery. This battery can be seen through the underside of the housing, it’s an impressive size.

Talking of size, they are in three sections, the middle one of which is optional, so they can be utilised at a range of different heights. And with a rating of IP67 you can be assured they will withstand the most inclement of weather conditions (just make sure you keep the solar panel clean for optimal efficiency).

Thus it provides plenty of energy at full capacity to power an impressive RGB+W LED light which can be set to fixed colours, or to cycle through them. The colours are particularly deep and vivid.
A novel accessory is the pack of inserts that create different light/shadow effects, and while ultimately I think I prefer the lights without these effects, they are nonetheless very intriguing and offer nice variation.

Ultimately, these Linkind Solar Lights represent the highest quality solar lights I’ve yet encountered and offer superior quality in every respect. In this case you certainly get what you pay for, and that is quality. For that reason I would suggest that as hefty as the price for these is, it are ultimately worth the cost.

These lights looks lovely. The skewers feel good and sturdy which is a nice bonus, many feel very week but these I like. There are three different patterns you can pick for the led by adding one of the two different lens covers or by removing them for just a plain pattern. I love the spiral effect patterns. There are different colour options available to by selecting the power switch to rotate through the colours. Red green blue or white. The lights come on automatically as it gets dark.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese are low level solar powered lights to highlight the edge of a driveway or a garden feature. The light is directed downwards, so the area illuminated in relatively small and is dependent upon the brightness of the LED and the height of the light above the ground.

The lights are relatively simple. A solar panel in the cap hides the battery and inner workings. There is a single switch on the top of the light. The LED can be left unadorned or covered with a ‘shadow lens’ that casts a shaped shadow on the ground. In the photos one of these is attached, but you cannot tell because the ground is rough. On anything except closely mowed grass or a solid flat surface all these shadow lenses are likely to do is reduce the intensity of the light. I will be removing them.

The lights come with a three-section ‘leg’, the bottom section being a ground spike. All are made of some sort of ABS plastic. They appear strong enough but would not withstand being reversed into by a car, or a badly aimed football. I chose to use just the ground spike and the thicker of the two sections, leaving the top of the light was about 15 inches above the ground. The thinner of the three sections looks rather flimsy. Take care if you use it.

I installed them mid-morning and left them set on ‘high’. The first night they lasted at least five hours though it’s not clear how well charged they were to start with. I will update this review after a month or so over the shortest days of the year. If they charge sufficiently well here – the north of Scotland – they will work anywhere.

For my needs they are ideal – to illuminate the rocky edge of a track. Don’t be misled thinking they are going to illuminate large areas and leave swathes of your garden bathed in bright light … they are a max of 150 lumens. You would struggle to read a book by them unless you held it very close to the light. Photographing them was tricky as the camera phone tries to overexpose the image. If you want illuminated marker posts to define features in the garden these would be idea. Finally, remember that the solar panel is quite small … they need unobstructed ‘view’ of the sky and so won’t work for long if heavily shaded.

    Low level solar lighting

These are more expensive than many spike lights and there is a good reason why — they have a much higher spec than most.
As soon as you unpack them you notice differences. They are made of more substantial plastic and the pieces fit together beautifully. The plastic is said to be ABS which is stronger than polystyrene.

    Closer examination shows more.
The “business” bit is fully sealed to make it waterproof.
The LED is part of a circuit board, rather than just a tiny LED.
The battery is not a standard AA NiMH, it is bigger and almost certainly Lithium.
There is an on/off button on the top with two brightness levels. At the lower level they are brighter than my existing lights.
The PV panel is more powerful that on cheaper lights.

    A couple of extra features.
The stands can be assembled to full height or shorter combinations.
You get two diffusers for each light to give a pattern, although I will use them without for maximum brightness.

    They fully deserve 5 stars

These solar lights are more expensive than others I’ve bought but you can immediately see the quality is better than average and look like they’ll be more durable. Very solid and stable in the ground, with a good sized solar panel. Can be set to red, blue, green, yellow or white.

The build quality of these solar-pathway lights are the best I have seen. These are much more solid and robust than others that we have used in the past. This may explain the hefty price tag of 43.99.

Instructions are included. The user is given a choice of heights by way of plastic rods. Unfortunately I was unable to unscrew one of the lamps to try out the lenses. It was just too firmly wedged – the other three twisted apart with relative ease. Colours can be selected by a press touch action at the top of the cover.

I did find when inserting into the soil that the rods and spikes still fall apart when lifting back up to reposition. However, at no time did I feel that the plastic would break, unlike previous cheaper models.

Sunlight intensity at this time of the year is clearly an issue but these lights performed very well at dusk on a typically cloudy and showery autumnal day. They shed a super amount of coloured light to highlight and illuminate vegetation.

Hefty price tag to reflect good build quality
