I read some poor reviews of similar mat but this seems good so far . Came folded in two. Wider than a previous mat that I bought which is what I required .
This is a fantastic well made item and looks very smart.
I just wish I had bought the bigger one now, I threw the box away so can not return to swap it. Advise to others get the bigger one, mine is on carpet and you will want to put it under the desk a little.
Our office chair was damaging the carpet. Wanted a really tough protective surface. This mat is great, really tough and quite thick and the chair just glides around. Really attractive pattern too. Only downside is it is very expensive.
I went for this premium one as it looked good and durable, so used it for a month and noticed it’s getting a crack (or odd appearance) in the bend as per the photo. Did message the seller and got advise to straighten the mat as its overlapped.
As when going over it with my chair it was making a snapping/clicking noise so given that a go (i.e straightening the mat) and hoping this has fixed the issue.

This arrived quickly but was much heavier than I thought it would be so beware of the box. It looks and feels lovely to the touch. I think it’ll last well – as it should for the price which I think is excessive. However I was looking for something that would be warm and less ‘plastic-y’. Fits the bill.
Bought this to replace a clear plastic chair mat. Folds in half for moving but seems heavy duty in design and materials. Limited design pattern choices but looks good when in position. Easily able to slide about on it on a standard wheeled office chair.
Was looking for something to protect carpet from my office chair. I had a plastic mat (that I hated) and a spare bit of carpet over it. It was forever moving around and irritated me how naff it looked.
When I saw this I thought it was a bit expensive, so pondered it for a while. I’m glad I purchased it now.
It arrived today. It’s heavier than it looks. It’s really robust – I can’t see this moving.
My chair rolls over it 100 times better than the carpet and it looks nice and smart! Going to suggest my husband gets one too.
I have a thick pile carpet with alot of insulation underneath in an office at home – so very spongy. Initially I bought one of those plastic mat thingys with spikes that claimed they were good for thick pile carpets (and were also expensive). The plastic mats were absolutely terrible so if you have a medium to thick pile carpet dont bother with them. One month in and cracks began to appear. Two months in, massive cracks. Three months in and the bloody chair broke through with a loud crack like a ship on ice.
Was nervous this product might be the same but its absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I only have it 2 weeks so cannot speak on durability, but its just as if my chair is sitting on a floor – a floor with a beautiful moroccan, mosaic design. It comes folded in half but you dont see the join when you fold it out and the fact you can fold it in half makes it easy to move somewhere else, if so desired. Wish I had not wasted my money on other items. I was just about to rip the carpet off the floor and am now so glad that I didn’t as it is a new carpet (just bought a house). I ended up buying 2 of them. The purple one is a slightly different shade to the other one, as if it might have been exposed to sunlight. But from experience, this slight color difference will likely even itself out over time in the same environment. And I am so happy with this product that even if it doesnt even out, I really don’t care!! If you have medium to thick pile carpet, please dont waste your time on other products.

Bought this to protect my carpet from my office chair rubbing it away. Really like the modern looking design and fits my room great. It feels quite sturdy to stand on and its easy to move the chair on, along with being a good size to allow movement. Unfortunately in less than a month it’s already starting to degrade, with the stitching and overall top layer of the mat wearing away with the chair wheels. For the price I was hoping for something that would last a lot longer 🙁
With working from home much more since lockdown the spare bedroom and lounge have doubled as a home office and we needed something for the chair to sit on. To start with I used a sheet of MDF but then I found these. Okay, so they’re quite a lot of money for what they are (they do the same job as the MDF at 5 times the price) but they look great. I bought one last year, and having just repainted the bedroom and put new carpet down decided to get another. They work really well, can be folded out the way if needed. They happily take the weight of a chair and person allowing you to move the chair without effort or wrecking the carpet. My only very slight complaint is the weave on the fabric looks uneven in places but it’s a minor gripe and is barely noticeable in use.
Just changed the carpet in our study after years of rolling the office chair backwards and forwards. The old carpet was kaput! To prevent this happening again quickly I bought this mat, deciding it was better than an ordinary rug. I also changed the wheels on the chair to roller blade type as they seemed softer.
The first time I ‘flopped’ onto the chair I shot across to the other side of the room, so care is needed if your chair wheels are very free.
I gave 5 stars for durability, but as I have not had this for long I have just given my observations so far. It certainly seems very sturdy with no sense the wheels are digging in. Unlike an ordinary rug which I tried before it does not buckle or move when you move.
It does exactly what I had hoped for from a product of this type.
It does appear to be one of the more expensive products on the market.

We ordered two of these. In both case the items have cosmetic defects. One of them had a huge long scratch and another have three glue blots. No quality control ? I have to return both. Otherwise they look like very sturdy mats.
just recently carpeted the house and wanted to protect the new carpet. Moving my computer chair was very difficult. This mat is not cheap but it does what it say. it’ll not curl, bend etc.. and will protect the carpet beautifully and let the PC chair move freely. 100% reccommend!!

The chair mat is a really good buy. It has a nice weight and very well made. I have had visitors think it was a rug – it has a lovely design. I use one for my craft chair which was directly on vinyl and the other for my office which is carpeted. It comes with 2 connected halves which did concern me – but it really does not hinder the working of the mat. If I needed another carpet Mt- this is what I would buy.
The mat is very strong and well made, and being able to fold it in two is a nice touch. It does provide a significant level of protection to the carpet which is the main thing. One minor downside from my point of view is that despite its weight it does still move a bit meaning it has to be adjusted to stop it looking a bit squiff, but to be fair that might simply be down to the type of carpet I have. Over all the positives outweigh the negatives.

It is much better than my poly chair matts on carpet and it is well made but the two sections slightly dont line up as they did when I bought it and you can feel the join of the board, but so far so good, I will come back and update again in the future either way as I have only been using this just over a week.
A high quality, highly durable, item, that completely lives up to its billing. The daily chore of moving the chair mat back to where it should be is gone, as this mat, placed over a carpet, simply does not move out of place, ever.
Needed something to protect the carpet and allow my home office chair to move easier. This looks good and works a treat. Very pleased I paid a bit more and went for this over the rolled up solutions which I’m not sure would have worked as well.

I was looking for a carpet mat and I came across this one and it was a bit expensive but it turned out to be a great investment. Very thick and strong and you are comfortable having the office chair on it.
I am very happy with this purchase and glad I made the right choice instead of going to cheap plastic ones!

I can move my chair to reach for drawers/files without difficulty. I can sit down at and get up from my desk with ease. And it looks very nice too.

Quite simply this is the best office chair mat I have ever seen. I have tried those so-called transparent rolled up plastic imitation polycarbonate mats and returned them all because they are not what they are claimed. But this is EXACTLY as advertised. Substantial polycarbonate centre with rubber studded underside and extremely attractive designed fabric surface. Delivered flat, no smell, no movement, no ridges, chair glides over it but the mat remains static on the floor. It looks good, works well and the customer service is nothing short of brilliant. I had a small problem at first but the company immediately took ownership when I contacted them and quickly resolved the problem completely within a couple of days, keeping me informed all the way through. Highly recommended. Don’t waste money on those cheap plasticky gimmicks. This is the office chair mat of the future.

Ordered this product to protect my tiled floor against the office chair wheels. It’s a bit heavy but I guess that’s why it’s sturdy and robust, and it’s well constructed. There was a specific issue relating to my particular flooring, but the manufacturer resolved the issue to my satisfaction within 24 hours of me getting in touch, which I have to say is great customer service.

Really pleased with this floor mat. I’ve had mine about six months and it is still like new. It is solid enough to support an office chair without spoiling the carpet underneath.
I had bought this mat half a year ago, have my chair on it ever since then (laid on carpet), busy home-officing. It still looks about as good as new! It may be more expensive than a lot of other options, but given that it lasts (and also looks pleasant), it does well worth its price in the long run!

Bought after laying brand new carpets to protect from daily abuse by an office chair in my husband’s home office. It’s very sturdy, the chair rolls over it perfectly and the carpet is very well protected. You can’t tell it’s two boards folded in the middle (there is no palpable or visible ridge to impede movement). I wish it was square though to give a bit ,ore freedom when wheeling from side to side. It was extremely expensive to use but a necessary evil when you have to have carpeted floors in a home office.
There are no dislikes about this product ,Had it five months now and it has had plenty of use rolling a pretty hefty office chair on it ,Still looks good .
It does not slide on a lino floor actually it does not move at all ,not double sided tape no grips just how the mat comes.

Attractive, solid & smooth, makes a good base for an office chair. Much better looking than most of the thinner plastic mats (just looks like a nice patterned rug) and it doesn’t get damaged like ordinary rugs or carpet. Not the cheapest, but worth it.
Needed something to give a more comfortable experience in my home office. I already use rubber wheels on the office chair and it sits on wooden floorboards.
The mat comes in quite a sturdy cardboard box and simply hinges in the middle. It has its own rigidity so can be moved and adjusted from one edge or corner. It has some sort of rubber on the bottom so it doesn’t move around on my wooden floor unless you lift it enough to do so.
It is big enough for the five wheeled chair and covers a normal movement range for me. I guess if you go side to side allot you could turn it long ways. I have it pulled out about 20cm from the wall so when I push the chair back a bit it doesn’t come off the mat. If the wheels do come off the mat the edge is nicely rounded and has rigidity so it doesn’t catch or interfere with rolling back on. Please note I have the rubber wheels on the chair not the standard plastic ones, so I can’t be sure of any difference here.
So far I don’t see any wear on the surface or edges and its used everyday all day. I guess could be a bit longer for me (20cm), but for someone else maybe that would be too much, better slightly small as you couldn’t cut this down at all without it falling apart I think.
I had a plastic chair mat prior to purchasing this item. It curled up at the edge and becamew a trip hazard. I no longer hav this problem.
An excellent product. It is substantial so it lies flat, doesn’t move on my carpet, doesn’t dent, looks good, what more can I say? Pity they don’t do them with a choice of more colours and patterns.

Absolutely the best answer to the problem of wheeled office chair on carpet I have ever come across. Looks good. is sturdy, just the right size. I only got it yesterday but it’s construction leads me to believe it will be durable.
A chair on castors and a carpet do not go well together. A cheap plastic mat does not solve the problem as it sinks into the carpet under pressure from the castors. This mat is solid and fabric covered, providing a good rolling surface. It is stable and does not slide around the carpet. The 120 x 90 size works well, allowing a good range of movement for the chair. It is not cheap, but it works so well that I bought another for the other computer user in the house. It is too early to comment on longevity, but it is well made and should last.
After moving my office upstairs I knew I needed something as my office chair was digging into the carpet and leaving marks. This fits the bill perfectly and is so much better to look at than the cheap plastic looking ones.
I have a laminate floor in my upstairs office and when I move the chair it is quite noisy below. I had purchased a cheaper mat on here and it didn’t stop the noise and moved about too much and I ended up throwing it away and buying this instead. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, this is solid, it is comfortable underfoot, it has stopped any noise being heard below and it looks very smart in the office. I am really pleased I was able to find this on Amazon.
his is a v good mat. it seems to protect the carpet well. it is heavy and the joint sticks up a little on one side. expensive but its the only one I’ve found the actually works and not be al slippy
OK it’s quite expensive which was putting me off. I was using a rug that kept moving so thought I’ll the the plunge now im working from home for the long term. It seems well built and seems to be doing fi e on the short fibre carpet in the spare room I’m heavy and it’s fine. So far it’s not move from where I put it, wish I had got one ages ago. It feels on the heavy side so you can tell its not just cheap rubbish in it. Can’t comment on how long the surface will last as I’ve only had a few weeks

Wanted to protect a new LVT floor as the laminate which was down previously had worn marks from my office chair moving about. I was glad I read the reviews for this which swayed me away from a cheaper roll up plastic mat. Pricier than I had wanted to spend but really pleased with it and it looks great and I think it will last for a long time. All 5 stars except value for money and that’s only because it was intended to be functional and a little expensive but I have no regrets 🙂
Wow this thing is pretty cool. Not sure why no one thought of it before. My torn up floor boards are save and not splintering any more, and I plan to get carpets up stairs and this will SAVE them!
This is a good piece of kit, the fabric is not moving when I roll on it. Good job. I think I am roughly a year into using it? Who knows. It still works fine.
Pricey, but excellent! Used on a floor that is part carpet, part laminate, where my home office chair has to be sited due to space limitations. The wheels troll well on the woven surface but not so much that you whizz off every time you move.

Previous PVC based products broke within a month or two. This seems more able to withstand daily pressure from a wheeled chair. I will revisit the review if this changes in coming months.
I was a bit concerned about spending this much on a mat for my office chair but I am so glad that I did. It is solid and seems very durable, and the chair moves easily across its surface. My only wish is that there were a greater variety of colours to match my decor.

This is just what I needed. I bought one of the clear plastic ones, but although it was very stiff, I found that moving the chair back and forward made it move and bunch up against the wall. Also if I sat still for any time the wheels of the chair would sink in and it would become difficult to move the chair.
This mat is much better. it stays in place and tolerates the wheels of the chair, so movement is easy and natural. Far superior and well worth the money. Found no flaws ye

It is of a heavy material which wasn’t easy for me to strategically place it without some assistance ( maybe I am just weak!) but it is attractive and fit for purpose.
On the expensive side but I am glad I splashed out because it certainly makes moving my chair around easy without damage to my carpet underneath. I am impressed with the quality and I am sure it will be extremely durable for the foreseeable future .

I never write reviews…but serious if you want a carpet protector that actually works then tis one is superb…its the only floor chair matt that actually protects your carpet…its firm, well made and a great purchase…note to company…the only thing i would offer are some plan colours as i nearly didnt buy because of the patterns I would have preferred a plan grey one for example, im sure that you would sell even more with plan colours as the designs you have might not go with the dcor of people homes, that said…great produc
I have an home office and work from home regularly – I have noticed that my carpet is getting damaged from my office chair so was keen to try this luxury chair mat.
Upon arrival, I under estimated how heavy this thing was going to be – it’s made from a thick wooden inner material covered in fabric material. This prevents the carpet from getting damaged. When my chair is on the chair mat, it glides over the surface easily.
The chair mat holds in place well, on the back of the mat there are rubber dots which prevent the mat from slipping – non-skid safety also adds to the products safety.
Looks great in my office, love the quirky design – a little different but brightens up my office.

I ordered the pink version of this mat to help brighten up the room it was going into. However, when it arrived, unfortunately it wasn’t the mat that I ordered. Which was a little disappointing. Although, the mat that arrived was not the colour I wanted, it’s more of a pale blue/grey colour and different design, I still feel like this is a really good mat. It’s supposed to be used as a chair mat, however, I have used it in our main lounge area because it is a really heavy mat (in weight) it perfect for stopping the dog or kids from sliding over on it. It has a hard, grippy underside to prevent the mat from moving on our tiles, then has a material design on top. Overall, although it wasn’t the colour and design I originally wanted, it is a really good mat and is good value for money. I am happy with the product I received.
This mat sits on top of the carpet and gives excellent protection, with the added advantage of being very eye-catching.
The mat comes folded in two and is very rigid. The top material is very tightly woven, giving a smooth surface on which the chair wheels can run. The reverse side is covered with small rubber buttons that keep it perfectly in place.
With a rigid centre, the whole mat is 10mm thick, and I was surprised how heavy it was.
I’m immensely impressed with this mat, it’s worth every penny of the cost.
The mat is hard and it can be folded in half but it cannot be rolled up.
This mat provides great protection to my carpet. I have been using plastic sheet before and it kept curling up and sliding around on my carpet, but this is way way better and well worth the money.
