There’s mosquitoes in many different types of form that attacks 24/7. These are Godsend. I have it practically in every corner of my house and outside. These pests are relentless! It’s great but hard to clean. The grid is only on one side and that’s the side they are stuck on. I took a little brush from the other zapper but it was too tedious to go in between to brush off the bugs. Works well, this is the second one I have bought, have one in the lounge and one in the kitchen, every time a fly appears its not long before we hear the classic crack of the machine working
In order for this bug zapper to work at its best potential you would need to place it in a dark room. The bugs like flies, are attracted to the light so they will essentially go directly into the zapper. It sounds a bit jarring when you first hear the flies being “electrocuted”. But it’s worth it to be free of the pesk.

I was going to send it back as it looked as if one bulb was a bit dimmed. However, I switched it off and back on again and it was fine. I wasn’t convinced it would work but that loud crack sound it makes as a fly is zapped lets us know it is doing its job. I do try to catch moths though and let them out. It was worth the money. It’s a keeper for sure.

I use it for killing house flies and fruit flies. And it’s brilliant at it. A little noisy when they get executed, but that’s ok. At least you know the machine is doing it’s job. Just hope they supply spare bulbs when needed.

Been using it for 2 weeks now and am so glad i’ve bought one. As a lot of other reviewers have said it makes a loud zapping noise when it gets one. Caught one within 3 seconds of turning it on for the first time i actually thought it had blown up.
Insects drop into a tray below which you can empty. Although it does seems to blow off limbs so you may end up with a little debris area around it to wipe up. Also some can get caught between the bulb and the bars (think that one scene in the green mile where they don’t wet the sponge) so best to have some tooth picks or something non-conductive to push them down into the tray.
I bought this thinking it might be a bit OTT for my domestic setting. But it isn’t, I love it. Best way to get rid of flies in a kitchen or living room.
Very effective Machine…keeps my Kitchen/Diner free of Flies. Catches Moths too in the evening. The only thing against it in my opinion is the loud snapping noise when it Zaps a fly. Really makes you jump at times.

This works very well, kills lots of flying insects. Although there is a tray to collect the bodies lots of insects just stay stuck on the grating cover so it’s a bit of a nuisance getting them off. That minor gripe aside, this item is well worth the money and I would recommend it.

This fly zapper was worth it ten fold, just plug in and let it do it’s job. One small problem is the plug lead is short, if it was 2 meter’s long i would say perfect.
