My monitor was not working properly, it would stop intermittently. I figured that it might be the hmdi cable not being of high enough specification. So, I found what seemed to be the highest spec hmdi cable for affordable price. I bought it and it works perfectly. My monitor is working perfectly now.

Only 4 weeks in, but so far so good. No real difference to my much more expensive cables

I was getting input lag from a gaming laptop to a 50inch LG TV, and also dropping of frames. All I can say is this cable has cured the issue for me. GREAT CABLE

I have a couple of HDMI cables lying around the house and nearly all of them have gone through testing the connection between the TV and my console. Most of them have given a proper signal, but one time I got an issue with one of the games, on starting the game the TV loses connection to the console. Just “Puf!” and nothing.
After changing the cable with one from these, the TV has managed to detect that it receives HDR signal and properly identify the console. And the game that was making troubles, no more makes issues. I might imagine stuff, but I think that even the picture quality has improved a little bit.

Works great with my RTX 3080 Ti and LG CX 4K TV. Got the 7m length and no issues, 120 FPS works great and no problem with this cable.
Wanted my ps5 to use it’s full potential on tv.
My new tv kept on telling me to use a high quality HDMI cable. I bought one from amazon that said it was 8k HDMI 2.1 but my TV was still showing the same message, I can confirm I am no longer getting that message when I connect my pc to my tv. Also verified using the QR code in the app. I feel this is a genuine product and would recommend.

Needed to move both PS5 and Xbox Series X from underneath TV shelves to side cabinet of the wall unit and factory cables were too short, I needed 2.5 meters at least.
I have read positive reviews, the certified logo, the reasonable price and I thought to give it a try.
I was surprised of the quality of these cables, they look very sturdy, the short connectors then let me push the consoles a bit more back to the wall, resulting in a couple of centimeters gained.
Most important thing though is that all 2.1 HDMI features work great! 4K@120hz, ALLM AND VRR work no issues.
I can’t recommend this cable more.

I connected an HDMI cable to a new router but the TV picture kept blanking, so I figured the cable was the fault. I ordered this ultra high speed cable which arrived next day and the problem was resolved.
JUst bought my first 4K OLED tv and needed a cable … works as it should between my Nvidia Shield and my LG C1, never a problem. Cable feels solid, connectors have a premium feel with metal in the construction. They feel like they would last years.
The 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable 3m(10Ft), Maxonar (Certified) Ultra HD 48Gbps High Speed 8K60 4K is really good displaying a lot of 8k content and it is the best HDMI that u can buy on AMAZON.
If you have a PS5, Xbox Series X and/or a newer RTX graphics card in your PC and you have something like an LGCX or C1, this is the cable you want.
I use this with my PC which has an nVidia RTX card and it outputs perfect HDR at 120Hz in 4K resolution.
The packaging and product have a premium feel to them, they are also properly certified, would buy again.
For anyone getting very confused and flustered about finding a product that performs where it counts in relation to HDMI 2.1 spec, i can wholly confirm after testing that not only will this product deliver the advertised resolutions and frames per second, but it is able to support 120 frames at 4k with HDR. This is from running off a 1080 TI graphics card and using the following products in tandem (as seen in the images: 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable 3m(10Ft) & 5M(16Ft) (total cable length of 8 metres from source to display), Maxonar (Certified) /and/ Cable Matters 8K DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI Adapter with 4K 120Hz or 8K.
If you are looking to run a cable set from a PC to a display or TV and want to ensure you get HDR, 4k, 120 frames then this is exactly what you are looking for.

With a new TV I was seeing too much noise in the picture when watching terrestrial shows like ITV and BBC news etc.
Also having a lot of sync issues with previous 4k certified / slower/ cables.
Definitely worth switching to these cables as no longer having issues.
I bought this cable back (3 metre) in May 2021 – I developed issues with the picture cutting out while playing games at 4k120 on my TV. I contacted the Maxonar support team and after some basic troubleshooting offered to send out a replacement cable. The new cable has been flawless ever since.
The cable is good, but that level of service made the value aspect even better!
item was actually HDMI 2.1 standard which was great to see given many cables on amazon claim to be but are actually no
No problem with this cable providing Dolby atmos from my Sonos arc
Picture quality is also fantastic
5*
The cable is very sturdy and seems to be well made. I’m using it to connect an Yamaha AV Receiver 5 meters away from a BenQ projector. The picture quality I tested is 4k 60hz, I’ve seen no loss or lag so far. Great value for money.
I had an issue with my Lenovo Legion 7 connection with LG CX oled via HDMI. Both devices had hdmi 2.1 port but couldn’t establish 4k at 10bit/12bit. I done a bit of research and found that a high bandwidth HDMI cable might sort out the issue. I gave it a try and it worked. The cable quality is great and you can feel it when holding the cable in your hand. Truly amazing for the price, Belkin charges nearly 50 quids for the same cable.
Perfect picture and sound quality so far on both tv and Xbox . More flexible than some other cables I’ve got which is an added bonus.
It does what it says. Very happy with the lead.
I had my ps5 connected through a soundbar which didn’t allow hdr at 2160 resolution, this cable was ordered to bypass the sound bar and connect straight to the tv, problem solved now can game at 2160 with hdr. Many thanks
Checked certification, all good. Feel like a solid build, and providing a great picture/sound
After fitting this cable between my old Plasma Tv and Virgin TiVo box I could see immediate improvement to the picture and also the cable appears good quality.
I think there’s a certain amount of caution due when it comes to buying HDMI cords, they’ve always been subject to a good degree of controversy.
I’ve always subscribed to the philosophy of buying something a bit better than your billy basic.
However there came a point where I had to get a 4K, 120fps HDR signal over HDMI and not a single cable in my collection managed it, except for this one.
Nicely and responsibly packaged, does what it says it will do, no reason to spend any more.
Initial research seemed to favour optical (expensive) hdmi cables for HDMI 2.1 support longer than 3m – this must have been based on earlier data as this 5m Maxonar works fine for 4K 120hz. Verified by the HDMI Certification app using the QR code on the box.
Connecting an RTX3080 PC to an 65″ LG CX OLED. Only cable I’ve used (and I’m running the 7m version) that works flawlessly. Full 4K 10bit at 120FPS-couldn’t be happier.
picture and sound quality really improved since using this cable
So got this as my old hdmi cable 2.0 was starting to fade (was 5m) so decided to update it and get a cable the correct size I needed (3m) this cable being 2.1 is 2-3x a thick as my last cable but still is a flexible cable.
Work well with the ps5 and lg oled tv and I have noticed the sufferance in Picture and sound.
I bought this for my ps5 to enable 4K HDR. And it worked.
Previous cable did not work with Atmos – this one does and all is working as it should be
got this longer cable for my xbox series x. Does the job perfectly.
Used to fit an AV receiver to Samsung 4K TV. Excellent quality and thick.
Excellent cables. Build and picture quality is excellent. Well worth the money. The certification checks out with the HDMI.Org app as well.
Works perfectly on my XBOX series X running 4K @120hz. Great quality and value.
Sadly I’m a Virgin media customer.
When watching Virgin media on my T.V. the video/sound would regularly blank out for a few seconds.. usually at a crucial piece of dialogue.
This cable solved the problem
I am using this 5m version HDMI with the Xbox series X and an LG CX oled and it works perfectly. Full 120hz at 4k. Also tested it with my friends PS5 and same result. Thoroughly recommend it for next gen consoles and I imagine any RTX 30 series graphics cards. I searched for ages to get one that was 5 metres and would work and this is perfect.
I needed a longer hdmi cable for my ps5 to plug into my Sony 120hz TV as the one that comes with the playstation 5 isn’t big enough I heard great things about this cable and they weren’t wrong it’s perfect the picture the sound the refresh rate is all top notch I highly recommend this
I bought a 5 m and a 3 m lead together as I wasn’t sure which I would need. Turns out it was the five meter one so I have only used that one at the moment. Firstly the quality of both Leads is nothing short of excellent and it’s worth noting that the 5 m lead is considerably thicker than the 3 m lead which I’m sure is to cope with the extra bandwidth.
I am using the five meter lead with my Xbox series X with a 4K 120 Hz TV and it works perfectly so far.
Highly recommended.
Purchased for hdmi connection between 4K blu ray player and 4K tv.Cable is good quality. Sound and picture both perfect.
Genuine 48Gbps cable, as confirmed by scanning the QR code on the packaging. Good for enabling all HDMI 2.1 features (4K@120hz, Dolby Atmos, eARC etc) on supported devices.
Cable seems like a quality item, does what it’s supposed to and feels robustly made. I have it connecting a UHD Blu-ray player to my TV and the picture/sound quality has been faultless, with no handshaking issues etc.
For less than 20 for 3m length, I’m very happy with my purchase.
Good value, works fine, tested with PC 4k@120 FPS with gsync
The product is everything I need and meets my expectations
I’ve been having issues trying to get my TV to play nice with an RGB 4:4:4 12bit 4K 60Hz signal from my PC over a 5m cable. All 2.0 cables I have tried gave me a “no signal” message, but this one, being so overspecced I guess, finally worked. Still a more economical solution than getting a fibre optic cable. My TV doesn’t support 120Hz so can’t comment on that, but I suspect it could also handle that no problem.
I use this HDMI on the Xbox Series X and there are no issues with Running 4k 120hz, Excellent quality cable even down to the packaging Don’t waste you time on a non certified cable get this one. Would Highly Recommend this HDMI excellent value for money.
Only using it for 4K, but does the job really nicely.
Brilliant does what I need with my Xbox series X and LG TV! 120hz for the win. Oh yeah!!!!
Now the title my not reflect how good this cable is for some .
Was a bit skeptical about some of the HDMI 2.1 cables on here but opted for “Amazon’s choice” HDMI cable and it didn’t disappoint.
Used it for my 3080 and yep it does what it says on the tin 120hz at 4k resolution.
Verified it with the HDMI certification app and the info came up as correct.
Nice price for the 3m cable too.
It’s a good cable. I got this too future proof myself for when I eventually upgrade my A/V receiver. I do have a 4K HDR TV at the moment and the cable does deliver a crisp 4K picture and sound. It is a legitimate 2.1 hdmi cable. Very happy with my purchase
Before I got this cable I have bought an Audioquest HDMI 2.1 PEARL cable which I was planing to use with my 8k TV from samsung, which offers 120hz in 4k gaming. The audioquest cost me nearly 60! yes I spent that much on a cable. That cable was causing disconnections, flickering – just was not good. I thought it was maybe my rtx 3090 or the tv itself.
Maxonar has arrived and I thought I will give this a try. When I unpacked the cable – it already felt like a much much better cable – the build quality is superb. I connected it to my TV and my computer and voila – everything works perfectly, no flickering and 4k, hdr and 120hz – PERFECT!!! Incredible cable for a very good price.
Thank you Maxonar!!! Highly recomended.
I’ve only had this cable a few days, so yet to determine whether it’ll hold out but if anything negative occurs, I’ll be sure to update/amend my review to reflect such.
The build quality is good, as you’d expect with a cable like this and at the asking price. It is a thick cable at just shy of 8.7mm, but any good quality 2.0 HDMI cables and up usually have been due to extra shielding and requiring extra copper to transmit that extra data. So be sure that your trunking can accommodate it if you’re upgrading or investing in all new equipment.
I am able to achieve 10-bit, YCbCr444 at 4K 120 Hz with HDR on my RX 6900 XT. I’ve played back 8k60 videos on YouTube over this cable whereas before it would be a stuttering mess on devices that only used HDMI 2.0/a/b and Displayport 1.2.
This cable won’t improve picture quality or audio over a good quality HDMI 2.0/a/b cable that is going between 2 devices that are HDMI 2.0/a/b or even if one of them is 2.0/a/b and the other is HDMI 2.1. Because you’re limited by the the weakest link and will only transmit the data at the maximum bandwidth of the lowest HDMI variant between the devices. I make mention of this, as a reviewer said their picture quality was better but this would be untrue, unless they had only used poor quality cables previously. If both devices don’t have HDMI 2.1, don’t get this cable. There’s cheaper alternatives that will work just as well for the devices you plan to use it for, just get the HDMI cable they’re rated at. However if you do have 2 devices with HDMI 2.1 or at least one and plan on getting another, then I’d also recommend this cable.

Because kids and teens keep unplugging and moving stuff unnecessarily, then complaining about “lag” you won’t get any from this, so suggest it’s time to switch off game in peak time.
Thank yourself late
I recently purchased an HDMI eARC Dolby Atmos-enabled sound bar, and needed the right cable to connect it to my TV. It works a treat, delivering full eARC support, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X without issue.
Caveats (though I’m sure these would be covered in other reviews): I haven’t tested this cable with the full fat HDMI 2.1 spec (i.e., 4K120/8K60/Dolby Vision), so cannot attest to picture quality in that regard. I also haven’t tried passthrough (since my sound bar supports one HDMI input that would pass through to the TV), so also cannot attest to how well it would handle that.
Overall, for my use case as an eARC/audio cable, it delivers everything I’ve asked of it.
great… cable picture and sound are spot on what more can you ask for in a hdmi cable and very well made and Certified best of the bes
This cable comes as HDMI 2.1 certified (checked with the app from Google store) which means, per hdmi.org, that it “supports all HDMI 2.1 features including uncompressed 8k@60 and 4K@120. The cable’s increased bandwidth capability supports up to 48Gbps.”
For current and potential future needs I wanted a new 5m Ultra HDMI (2.1) cable and there are very few manufacturers who provide these cables with a length of 5m. At the current price this cable looks to be great value.
There is always an underlying question as to whether one can discern differences in sound and picture quality between cables in different price ranges. I have always taken a view that if the cable meets the defined specifications then the only difference between pricing levels should only be product manufacturing/build quality…will it fail early on or last many years.
So far this cable looks to be very robust and I can not see any issues with sound or picture quality so initial results are encouraging and I’m happy so I can recommend this.
Well, what can I say?
After several attempts to ‘cure’, sound drop-outs, on our home theater set-up, including several HDMI cables. I returned to the ‘net’, in search of possible help.
The ‘help’ found, was these leads. (Not specifically for these ones but, the importance of being ‘Certified’.
I’m happy to say, this cable cured our problem and have no hesitation in recommending them.
Real 8K compatible and 4K 120hz, tried with both PC , PS5 and Xbox Series X
I know this is an 8K capable cable, but I replaced my 8K Q900R Samsung with a 4K LG OLED, I shall never go back to LED unless something drastically changes with the technology, the difference in picture quality is HUGE in favour of the OLED (Had them side by side for a few days)
So this cable arrived after this change of TVs thus not tested with 8K, but its been tested well. I have bought 2 of these now as the first performed so well.
Can confirm the QR code passed the HDMI Premium test.
I have them plugged into a PS5 and a PC with an RTX 3080, I have zero issues with 4K HDR 120hz content.
Regards audio, I have a full Dolby Atmos setup, and these cables have handled audio without issue.
I know I stated I havent been able to test at 8K, but im certain these cables would handle it with no problems such is there performance at 4K120hz & certificate. That said, I honestly believe 8K TVs are a fad, unless playing native 4K or 8K, you are downgrading the rest of your media as the upscaling just isnt that great. Furthermore, media is a LONG way behind in pushing out 8K content.
But if your a gamer, these cables have your sorted for the next few years in terms of PS5, Xbox, PC with 30 series GPU (They are real I promise)
I know HDMI cable hunting can be a bit of a minefield, but your search is now over.
These cables are spot on.
Worth a buy
I have bought a certified advertised HDMI cable before, but when it arrived it did not have a security code on the box so I could not scan it using the HDMI certification app to see if it was a genuine 2.1 certified cable. This cable however did have the code and I was able to scan to confirm that is is genuine. There is a notable improvement in picture quality on my TV, so it is well worth the price and will defiantly purchase again.
Bought for my new LG GX TV, works just as described and I believe is one of the only HDMI 2.1 certified cables on Amazon (you can check using tbe official HDMI scanning app).
Worked great for my PS5. I would only caution that it’s rather thiccc and therefore quite inflexible.
Need a 5m cable so bought this to connect my new LG G1 with my PS5 so I could get 120hz gaming going. It works perfectly. No issues with sound as well.
For the money this is perfect.
Product as described, flexible . Which fitted well in behind the wall tubing.
This is a certified 8K Hdmi 2.1 cable and it is very good quality definetly recommended
I’ve tried so many cables, but this is the first 5m HDMI 2.1 cable that is truly 4K@120Hz, VRR, HDR, 12bit. I’ve confirmed this works on PC and Xbox Series X to an LG OLED C9.
Every other cable I’ve tried is fake and gives a black screen, this one doesn’t. Get this one.
I was a little sceptical what with the amount of cheap cables claiming to be certified but this is NOT one of them. Picture and sound quality with this cable is excellent and registers as being 4k/120fps capable on the PS5. I dont have an 8k screen to verify this but if youre looking for a cable that supports the xbox series x and/or PS5 for VRR/4k120hz, this is the one.
Good to know that I can trust a company to actually make a certified 2.1 cable.
I don’t normally leave reviews but I think this manufacturer needs to be commended for making some of the highest quality cabling I have seen in a while and at an affordable price… unlike some manufacturers **cough Belkin cough** I have purchased Thunderbolt 3, HDMI and DisplayPort cables and all do exactly what they are meant to. The added certification is also great for giving buyers peace of mind that they’re getting a quality product.
Resolved my “No signal” display issues using Xbox series s to LG Nano86 2.1 120hz
Having researched for a quality certified HDMI cable I came across this and have to say it’s very good. Quality of the cable is top notch and noticed a vast improvement in terms of picture and sound quality. Highly recommend.
Can confirm Nvidia 30 series to LG oled all features and modes supported at least on 3090 and C9.
I bought some 8K rated cables which did improve the link from the PC to the HDMI 2.1 TV but at 120hz while doing anything but gaming I would get random artefacts at random times flashing on the screen. I bought this cable as was stated certified 8K60 4K120 and all the other goodness to hopefully produce the perfect marriage between a HDMI 2.1 GPU and TV. The difference in picture quality was seen immediately and the full bandwidth for 4K120 HDR with 192hz Dolby Atmos is working as intended. I am so happy that with this cable the investment in the new tech is working properly. In a way the cable being the most important part of the setup.
Passed certified test with HDMI labs. Full HDMI support when connecting a PSt and LG Nano 86
Great improvement on picture quality ,well made well impressed would definitely buy again fantastic quality hdmi cable live em 10/10
I bought these to go with my new front room set up (XBox series X, 65″ LG CX, SKY Q UHD and Samsung Q950T Soundbar) and I must admit they are working a treat. They are able to handle 4k 120hz from the XBox including the ALL and VRR modes, Dolby Atmos from the CX to the Soundbar and UHD picture and sound from the SKYQ box to the TV
Excellent, lowest price certified 8k cable. Braided finish helps keep it protected when running through the wall
Quick one for you guys suffering with no signal etc. I recently bought a hdmi 2.1 cable (3meter) off eBay for 7.99, so fairly cheap but was told there capable of producing what more expensive cables can. I couldn’t use origin hdmi that came with it as it was too short. I was suffering with no signal when starting up a hdr game or when in 10bit or 120hz with vrr and low latency etc, all of what are been reported on internet. However I went ahead and bought this cable off Amazon for 25 and my sieries x is set up now at 120hz, vrr, low latency at 10bit with hdr and Dolby vision enabled. Everything that the sx can produce basically and Iv had no problems what so ever and seems so much more responsive. Fully recommend this product if you have been suffering with any of the same problems. Hopefully someone reading this will benefit from this Review
Just precisely what I was looking for. The perfect length, the durability of the cable and from the feel of it, you certainly won’t need to worry about wear and tear. It comes with lifetime product warranty and it’s certified for ease of mind.
works perfect not interference and dolby atmos at its best. also certified
So far I am pleased with the cable. The cable is very long but to have it arrive neatly packaged is a nice touch. On the box there is a HDMI sticker which can verify the cable for you. The MAXONAR cable has been working perfectly with my LG CX and RTX 3090 gaming PC, providing stunning visuals with no visual glitches or hiccups.
Got one 2 weeks ago, works, as expected, feels solid. Happy to an extend I just bought another one.
Great build quality not too chunky cabling so easy to manipulate around features works amazingly with PS5, Xbox Series X, LGOLED …
Great cable amazing build quality perfect length for my Ps5 great picture quality no dropouts.
Definitely recommend
Good cable. Works on my new 8k screen at 8k res
Works perfectly with PS4 and PS5 in HD, 4K and 8K.
bought 3 of these as putting cables in wall and wanted to make sure I was future proofed. Cables look and feel premium and being certified I trust they are the real deal. Just want a 2m and 1m version to be released.
Confirmed certified Ultra high speed HDMI cable by scanning the barcode on the box. Tested 120hz working with a PS5. Cable feels well made.
Bought these cables last week as I recently bought an LG CX and wanted some certified ultra high speed HDMI cables that would fully support PS5 and other media devices. I was a little dubious as there were no reviews but was comforted by the fact that these were the only ones I could see that were actually certified by the HDMI committee – you can use the HDMI certification app to scan the QR codes on the cable box. They work great and have no issues outputting 4k@120Hz with the PS5. They also support VRR, HDR etc and have a good length of 3m
