Everything is great, for price it does its job well. I love that there is spring in the middle so the speed is much faster than traditional ones with springs at the bottom. You will need more weight to hold the base down though
I’ve owned the first MaxxMMA Reflex and the new Cobra Reflex and I love them both. After using the Cobra Reflex for about 2 months, I discovered a leak where you put the inflation needle. I contacted Eemore/MaxxMMA through their website in order to buy a new bag. They were prompt in responding and replaced my bag free of charge as they stated it was still under warranty. Awesome! My grandson LOVE LOVE LOVES IT!!! He uses it while on breaks from his online classes which keeps him from getting bored. Stimulation, stimulation, stimulation to the brain while exercising the physical body. Thanks
Durability. I would like to mention the large bag had a small hole in it and would not stay inflated. Great customer service. I contacted them and they contacted me immediately with replacement. We love the small bag and can’t wait to receive the large one. Thank you

High quality and super easy setup The top pole was a little loose and clanked against the other metal pole so I put a piece of tape below the button and it works perfectly now
I’m not a heavy user, only one or two workouts per week, but it’s been perfect for me. It’s another bag that I can’t walk past without stopping to hit it a few time.
Set up was easy. What took longest was filling the base with sand. The opening is very small and the sand backs up in the funnel constantly. Lots of tapping, poking, and shaking involved in the process. I read that sand is heavier so I went with that and got almost 50 lbs in the base. Then I filled large plastic bottles from the dollar store with sand and put them in the weight bag on top of the base. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t move.
I saw people complain about hitting the edge of the plastic cup at the base of the bag. I wrapped mine with a foam weatherstripping from Lowe’s or Home Depot, then wrapped that with electrical tape. Easy to do and easy to replace when it wears out. It hasn’t come loose or worn out yet for me.
So far, it’s been excellent for me and I feel like I’ve already gotten my money’s worth. Great fun. Great workout.
Great reflex bag for the price. I’ve had it for two months now and have been putting in work 6 days a week. I like the fact that you have 4 settings of rebound that you can choose from. I’d recommend a few things to you should do to get it to work properly.
1- Put blue removable lock tight on the base bolt so it eliminates problem of getting loose and causing unwanted vibration.
2- I filled the base with 50lbs of sand and water and filled the sand bag base with around 50lbs of sand and it still tends to lift off the ground when punching with power. I ended up buying a second sand bag base from the same company and filled it with another 50lbs of sand and now it does not move. 150lbs total. You can also use Olympic weight plates.
3- Before each use make sure to tighten screw that sets the height of the bag as it will also tend to get loose.
All in all it’s a great bag for the price compared to all the other reflex bags on the market.
It’s a great tool to stay in shape, practice punch timing, slip and counter moves and precision.
I think the reflex bag plus the stand is perfect with added weight attached to the base. I’ve hit the bag like crazy with hooks, over hands etc. Only thing that bums me out is the set came with a extra “bag ” which is smaller for jabs and I would’ve loved to use this but it came broken. The air “blow into ” piece was none existence . So now I have a reflex bag that can’t be inflated because it has a 3/8 in hole on the top that can’t close.

Love this product. You definitely have to weight it down with extra weighted bag but it’s great for at home practice. Very easy to store away and keep out of the way.

I was hesitant to buy this because of some reviews but it was SO easy to put together and it works great! I put sand in the stand and inside the extra bag it gives it to weigh it down. The only confusing part was how to switch the spring settings. I figured out that the hard tube goes into the pole which changes the spring.
It’s good so far but got this cuz they didn’t have ever last or title brands
As advertised! No complaints! I filled to the maximum with sand. Made my height adjustments. Selected the ball of choice. And it has become an everyday item of use. Extremely satisfied with this product. I can land my punches, uppercuts, hooks, knees, elbows, and kicks!!! It is amazing for accuracy, hand eye coordination, dodge reflexes and more. As you work out with it, you’ll personally add and create new workouts to fit you personally.
The product is durable and made of good quality material.
After a couple uses, I noticed that there was water on the floor underneath the base. The carpet I set it on overnight was soaked in the morning. I figured there was a tiny leak, but I didn’t want to pack it all up and send it back, so I used a little dab of sealant and by morning it was fixed. It was disappointing and if the leak were any bigger, I would have sent it back right away. But I was having fun and didn’t want to stop.
The next thing that I found out after a couple more uses was how it cuts my knuckle open every session. The plastic that secures the bag to the pole, It’s not sharp, but if you hit it hard enough it will gouge a chunk out of your knuckles. And just about every time I use it I get cut open in the same spot, so the wound never fully heals. It becomes painful after a while. Blood gets all over my clothing, gym, and bag. It’s very annoying. The gloves they provide are comfortable and fit well, but they are cut offs and don’t protect your knuckles. I don’t have a set of full gloves and I prefer using the MMA ones, but it’s not worth getting cut open so often. I’ll have to pony up for a set i guess.
I kept using it a couple times a week and regardless of the negatives, I have a lot of fun on it. It’s only limited by your imagination really. I put it on the fastest setting and it really challenges your speed and timing. If you put it on the slow setting, it will swing back far enough to work on slips. It’s a great tool to have in your repertoire, and it’s fun, which is why I was so disappointed about what happened next….
After 8 months of regular use the little screw that secures the pole to the base snapped! And then it was all over….
The little screw broke off into the pole and it won’t come out. The screw and the bottom pole has to be replaced. IF the screw was larger in diameter, I believe it wouldn’t have broke, at least not til much later. It’s a major design flaw that maxxmma should and can easily fix.
I tried emailing MAXMMA three or four times with no response. So I looked through the reviews and found some other people have had these same problems, and in the comments there was a response from the distributor asking to send a pic of the broken piece and they will replace it. SO I just called the number that was listed, and what do you know, they said they would send out the replacement parts right away. I SHOULD get it in a few days since the shop is a couple hours from my apartment. I will update this when I get it.
In conclusion, It’s a very fun piece of equipment, worth every penny. The time I enjoyed on it largely outweighs the negative things I’ve listed. There are a few things they need to fix in the design, but if they do the right thing, after that it should be just as good as some of the higher priced cobra bags out there.
Love how it reacts and the consistency of the bag
It is working great for me. With the speed technology that comes with the bag, it is very helpful for my training.
My boxer son has advanced and the mid range spring makes the response time faster. Has 2 bags, one smaller. Note that large bag split near plastic base and company replaced for us immediately. Plastic base bothers my boxer sometimes. Pleasure to work with this company.
Well, I bought two 50 lb bags of sand for about $3 each and a funnel, filled up the base and filled up the weight bag that comes with it and stacked it on top of the base. I’ve been wailing on this bag and it hasn’t moved an inch. Good stuff. We’ll have to see how long it holds up but first impressions are really solid.
ot a boxer but i think i’ll learn the basics with this bag for self defense. loaded the weight bag with water bottles, 2 5lb dumbell weights, and some smooth rocks. gloves are sweet but they don’t have padding on the outside of the thumb. this is one of the best purchases iv’e made on amazon.
