I was not happy with this cushion but I am also a bigger person so this cushion was horrible for me. However, my friend who is also a bigger person ended up loving this cushion and was talking about how it helped to ease off his back pain. So he really likes this cushion.
Great cushion especially if your working from home and not actually sitting on a proper office chair! Good support and comfort and well made.
Nice quality memory foam and soft washable cover but i find the shape and height of this cushion a bit lumpy for me. Perhaps i am too large. I find it better than normal cushions but not enough to justify the price i think.
I’ve recently got a couple of these. I like using them to raise my hip height, when I’m practicing on a drum practice pad (which is quite often), sat on a sofa, armchair, or the edge of the bed, or wherever. They simultaneously raise one’s rump, and – allegedly – help with maintaining a decent healthy posture. They certainly do the former. Re the latter, that’s partly down to one’s own physical efforts. But, long story short, I like these things. My wife also has one for the car!
Excellent quality, I’ve been using it a few weeks now and it’s saved me buying a new office chair. I spend hours a day on my computer and it was getting uncomfortable, this seat pad to my surprise and shock is actually amazing, it does exactly what it says it does. Superb quality and so comfy! I’d def highly recommend and I’ll be getting another for my craft room stool!
Got this seat cushion to try over the thinner foam or silicone honeycomb cushions that don’t really offer much padding. This is a nice & thick form cushion. It also has 2 elastic straps you can use to secure in place.
I like the width at the front of this cushion.
Too bad the back side of this is not as wide where your bottom fits. I find the raised sides of the rear of the cushion to be a bit constraining (and I don’t have a wide backside).
Also not having much natural cushioning, I do feel pain / discomfort after a little time in my rear end bones, so maybe for my build this is a bit too firm.
I have a trapped nerve on one side, a slipped disk on the other and from time to time, certain hemor…flares up, so I have no idea what I would have done without this. I have had a few padded cushions over the years and this is a step-up from my all time favourite that I have in the office. A Step up, as it has a hole in the middle that makes it particularly comfy when you go through a certain flare… The main thing is that over time it does not flatten! I have now used it daily for over 3 months and it it still as plump and comfy as on the first day! Highly recommended!
I have lost count of the number of seat cushions I have tried. This one is better than others, however, I find it a little too firm. In defense of the cushion I am like the proverbial Princess and the Pea. One of the standout features of this one is the grippy underneath surface. You can be sure wherever you place this cushion it is not moving.
Although this cushion is better than others, I still find I have to rotate throughout the day to try to keep the pain at bay. The price seems to be in line with others. While not perfect, this seat cushion is superior to others.
I did run this past my Chiro, physio and an OT in conjunction with my chair for my specific issue. My review cannot be advice on whether this will be suitable for you.
I am very happy; it takes pressure off of my muscles that are recovering and were impacting nerves, it’s very comfortable and perfect on my main designated chair but the way that it straps on and could be used on other or in a car is very convenient. Very secure and stable.
I really appreciate that you have it in pink and it’s not the standard, more clinical looking sort of thing. It looks cheerful and it makes me much happier than some of the other things I’ve had to have that are boring and leave me feeling sad. The pinkness is actually helping me because it’s helping my positivity and that’s just as important as the physical impact. Thank you for thinking of the pink, I appreciate it.
I got this as I have a recurring pain in my lower back and when it is inflamed I cannot sit very comfortably on a chair! I am a heavy person, so I knew that I needed something to take my considerable weight.
This padded ergonomic foam seat cushion is filled with memory foam that bounces back very quickly after it being used. It is also quite firm, but with the right amount of give, which is necessary when you want it to support your back and relieve you from pain. It is quite bulky, which I like and when sat on it, I found that it raised me overall by at least 5 cm, which meant I had to re-adjust the height of my office chair!
It fits most chairs and it even has two straps to secure on an actual chair, be that office or dining. On its underside, there are a number of silicone bumps to ensure it stays in place and the overall feel you get from the cushion is that of quality.
All in all, it helped me massively and helped me with back pain relief!
