I bought this to see if it would reduce the tension of my new Hotus Warthog and, it does. I was a bit apprehensive with the price after spending so much on the Hotas Warthog, but this extender works. The Joystick is much more manageable. I am a pilot in training for PPL and this and the Warthog go very well together. It is also well made, machined metal, just unscrew Joystick from base, connect the base socket with the supplied cable and screw the extender into place, then plug joystick to other cable end and attach the joystick, 5 mins and ready to go. Note: take care aligning the Plug Pins, ensure the pins align and carefully plug together, also ensure the Warthog Yellow Arrows on Base and Joystick are aligned.
