Brought this to chop through some awful rambling roses and a buddleia. comes complete with spare chains, 2 batteries and a good little case to keep it all in. Really surprised at how easy it is to use. Cut through the branches with ease. the chain stays nice and taught and just added some oil to keep it well lubricated. Having 2 batteries means i could cut branches for longer and they charge nice and quick. Really pleased with this and would recommend it if you have stuff to cut through and secateurs don’t do the trick. 10 out of 10
When I first got this i thought what have I done because it looks like a toy. BUT was I wrong what a GREAT BIT OF KIT! I use it to cut down small unwanted adolescent trees. I scythes through branches and this is the big one. If you want to heat your house on pallets scrap it chops them up so quickly and surgically it’s fun.
what they don’t tell you is to lubricate the chain. Do that! and make sure the chain does not go slack. While you test chain tension take the battery out it would be easy to rip yourself up.

This is a brilliant piece of kit. Don’t know why I never got 1 before. The company that supply the Chainsaw are also fantastic. The support was there when I needed it, even from Amazon, also. Well done, 5 stars from me.
Light and easy to use, good power.
Only draw back is it has a brush motor, brushless would have made it better.
THIS IS A REALLY GOOD PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY.
USED IT TO CUT A LOAD OF BRANCHES WHICH WERE TO THICK TO CUT WITH MY HEDGE TRIMMER.
WHAT SUPRISED ME MOST WAS THE BATEERY LIFE WHICH AFTER 2 HOURS OF CONTINUOUS STILL HAD PLENTY OF LIFE IN IT AND DIDNT NEED TO USE THE SECOND ONE.
HAD A ISSUE WITH THE CHARGER BUT WAS SENT A REPLACEMENT IMMEDIATELY BY THE SELLER, WHICH IS GREAT SERVICE.
OVERALL i WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS CHAIN SAW
Very light weight with a surprisingly long battery life, and with the 2 battery packs a lot gets done.
ALERT I would just like to add an amendment to my review of this item. Although my 5 star rating of the product stands, I do not rate the company who sold it. Inside the box was an amazon voucher. In order to redeem this I had to email the given address on the voucher. After a good deal of communication between us, in which they asked for my pay pal account details ( I told them that not everyone has a pay pal account) and I expected the voucher to be redeemed through my amazon account they have now stopped answering my emails altogether, and obviously have not honoured the voucher.

This cordless mini chainsaw is a very handy addition to my garden shed.
I cannot say we look forward to pollarding our cherry tree every October once the leaves have dropped. Using bypass loppers it is a sometimes difficult and time-consuming job. I am happy to report that this mini chainsaw, once charged, was a joy to use and made light work of even the thicker branches. It made light work of what used to be a tiresome annual chore. The chainsaw is comfortable in use and the battery length is very good. There are two batteries supplied in the case, so you can have a back-up ready when the juice is up.

I purchased this saw a couple of months ago. It was easy to assemble and I particularly like that it came with two batteries. It is more power than I expected for being so small. I am pleased with my purchase and it came in a strong hard plastic case which is great for storage.
The only niggle I had was that the supplied screwdriver was too big for the tensioning screw, but I had a long, thin screwdriver so no problem. The only real niggle (other than the screwdriver!) is that it is clearly designed for a right-hander so keeping the safety button depressed becomes tiring since the button, instead of being beneath the right thumb, presses instead against joint of the left forefinger and becomes uncomfortable after a while. I have used the mini chainsaw to cut through branches on a few hazel trees and have encountered no problems and the battery life seems to be superb; I’ve cut through a large number of branches and not had to change the battery. I really like this bit of kit and constantly looking for another opportunity to use it!
Very convenient, very easy to use and safe due to the extra safety lock which has to be pressed continuously for the chainsaw to function.
With the extra battery pack, the chainsaw can be used for much longer and with two extra chains, one does not have to worry about a blunt instrument. However, I don’t like having to put such things together myself and was very tentative about it, which was only made worse when I realised the pack came with the wrong screwdriver. Fortunately, I had the right one available.
I find this mini chainsaw particularly convenient as I refuse to use a full-sized chainsaw at any time for safety reasons (even if they came with double, triple or quadruple safety measures). With this small one, I can take on the majority of jobs in the garden that I would normally have to employ of professional to do and feel quite safe doing so.
Large chain saws too heavy and dangerous for me but this is perfect. Small, light, easy to use – only downside is I wish the chain was just a little bit longer I could cut even bigger wood for the fire then.
After studding the mini battery chain saws advertised on Amazon, I purchased this one because it came with better safely features, extra battery and extra blades. It does exactly what the suppliers have stated and comes in its own box.
Found it easy to set up with instruction leaflet. Tools for this supplied along with two batteries (partly charged) and three chains. Tried it briefly on some branches that needed cutting and it worked very well. For price it seems an excellent purchase and would recommend it.
We used the chain saw to cut the branches of a tree which had got out of hand. It is easy to handle and not to heavy to use with 1 hand. Worked well. We have more bushes to do when the leaves come off. Good buy..
This is a great tool my Husband did not let me use the big chainsaw as he thought I would cut off an arm so bought this for myself and it’s great, easy to use, cut’s everything easily, I also like the fact it came with 2 chargers and spare chains.
Some Assembly needed . This comes in a case to keep all the bits together 2 spare chains,1 screwdriver,1 spanner.2 batteries and a charger. Just follow the instructions to put it together. The plastic guard is good to keep bits from bouncing off my glasses and if you just take your time it will cut through most things that you come across in most gardens I even cut a good chunky bit by cutting from either side then finishing off with a saw. This should last for a long time especially with two spare chains.
I was plant hire fitter for 22 years repairing Sthil chain saws as well as other small pieces of plant with engines and electric motors.
I found the power in this small piece of equipment surprising. It chewed away at any branch I tried it on with no complaints. The guard being plastic I think will not stop the chain if it breaks but if you do not abuse the machine the you should not have a problem. If you ease the chain in steadily and not put too much weight on it then it goes through quite easily. You can feel when the motor is getting warm so give it a rest as abusing it will burn it out. Nothing wrong with a cup of tea then back to cutting. I advise a small amount of chain oil to be used as it helps the wear and tear on the chain and chain guide and also stops rust forming on chain when stored. In winter I would remove chain and store in a small jar covered with oil. If motor struggles then change chain for a sharp one or damage may occur . As you may gather I am very impressed with this little piece of equipment so plan on looking after it correctly which will extend it’s life.
It arrived promptly. Had a bit of difficulty putting chain on bar but got the hang of it eventually. I am very pleased with the machine. It has instruction manual, screwdriver, socket key,charger,2 lithium batteries which take only 2 hours to charge and 2 spare chains (3 in all). Very easy machine will save a lot of sawing branches off shrubs.
Its very handy for outdoor garden fencing projects and other small DIY types. Happy to have bought this at a reasonable price.

This min chainsaw came at the right time as now I do not need to ask dad to borrow his electric cutter because I wouldn’t go near his big chainsaw.
I have this one pieace of Privett that judt does not want to go away.
We took away the whole length of my back garden, yet this one pieace comes back and there is no getting rid of it. Jay’s fluid, copper nails, copper tubing, Bleach, salt, diesel, weed killer the lot. Even 2ft of concrete on top of it as we built a walland filled it in and still it’s found its way through. So a few times a year we chop it off.
Within a year it grows 6ft, It’s mad…
The first thing that caught my eye was that there is a safety cover, but also there is a double safety button that both need to be pressed in for it to work.so no worrying about maybe dropping it and chopping off ya leg or arm like a horror movie…
My other half had the job of putting it together, because obviously its boys and there toys. Don’t kniw if it’s a help that he’s a mechanic, but he said it was pretty straight forward to put it together and you do get everything you need in the case provided. Win win.
I’m and pleased to say it got rid of my ever growing Bush that judt won’t go away.
Also I planted 6 mini conifers about 15 years ago. Yes Mini they told me…. Except 2 have sprouded legs and think they are on steroids because 2 out of 6 are now move than 6ft wall. But they are planted in a wall that is 4ft high.. Which means the minin trees look even bigger lol.
We took it low and slow but this did the job.
The stump was about 4″ diameter but this little chain saw basicallyade light work of the job I was quite surprised.
So far so good.

It can be a bit fiddly to put together but once you get it together it’s really helpful in the garden. Recently cut down 7 trees in my garden so this is great to break it down into smaller pieces to get into the car. I have got it without the guard as I find it gets jammed in there.
Bought this for my husband’s birthday. We have an allotment and wanted something light easy to use and safe. This handsaw is just what he needed. Used the other day and he loves it. Great saw, easy to assemble and does a great job. Brilliant price and you get 3 chains and two batteries. Excellent value.
I bought this for trimming down a few branches of an overbearing tree that was behind my garden wall. The setup was really simple, instructions were easy to understand (not badly translated Chinese) and the saw worked very well. At first I had to get used to the safety button which had to be pressed at the same time as the trigger but after a few practices you learn to automatically do this instinctively.
The best thing about this particular model from MHDYT, aside from the 2 batteries which permit near non-stop use is that you get a carry case to store the chainsaw away when not in use. This is so much more handy than having a cardboard box where things never seem to go back in properly. All in all a great mini chainsaw that continues to impress me each time I use it!
This is a really handy bit of kit, it seems fairly robust, well made and is just the job for pruning smallish lower branches. I’ve used it on branches approximately 2 to 3 inches and the quite powerful motor had no problem cutting through them. The fact that you get three chains and two batteries should give it a fairly long working life and is a real plus point.
This little tool comes in a neat hard plastic tool case which can be used to store it safely away. This keeps it out of harm’s way of children as well as keeping the tool safe and clean.
This took my husband about twenty minutes to build from all the bits in the case.
He tells me it is excellent at cutting through small branches – a bit scary at first but very effective.
This is a very handy little tool for pruning trees and bushes with branches that are not too thick. It won’t cut a tree down but it will cut through a decent-sized branch.
It is not too heavy, although if you held it up for a long time your arms might begin to feel it.
The fact that it has a rechargeable battery makes it very safe as there is no danger of cutting through a cord which has happened in the past!!
Excellent quality bit of kit, easy to assemble with spanner. Works brilliantly at cutting small branches off at the bottom of our garden. Chain guard is a good feature some don’t have one. 2 batteries 2 chains included all in a nice case. It’s a little overpriced though I’ve seen some exactly the same with gloves also for 59 hence the 4 stars.
Ignoring the poor user manual which seems so prevalent with tools supplied from the Far East this mini chainsaw is well worth the money. It is only a few pounds more in cost than an identical one but this set not only includes two batteries but also 3 chains in total (two spare) and a case! The slightly cheaper one has one battery, one spare blade, no case.
So, very little vibration or noise from this unit. Ergonomic. Very efffective in use. If you are looking to buy a mini chainsaw I doubt that you would be in any way disappointed if you bought this one instead of the identical slightly cheaper one which comes without the aforementioned extras.
