I have ground squirrels that filled up my sprinkler boxes with dirt and I don’t believe in killing them. So I got these. I’ve used them for a few years. They do eventually break but I just purchased a new set. They really work as long as they are in good condition.

Whatever i have in my yard, gopher, mole, vole Whatever, hasn’t left. Far from it infact. infact it’s traveling around my front yard and leaving disaster in it’s wake. I wanted to do a humane way of getting rid of it, now I’m going to have to resort to poisons. Don’t buy this. It’s not worth it.

This worked like a charm. Our moles
moved out. I’m going to keep them out all summer to make sure they don’t come back. And nobody got trapped or hurt or killed!

Moles had my front lawn looking terrible last summer. I planted one sensor in my front yard. I haven’t seen a Mole at all this summer. The grass has grown back from all the tunnels from last year. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I broke the first one I tried to insert into the ground. They’re pretty weak plastic – so be careful. I ended up using a spike to pre- make a hole and wet the ground so I good get them in. They buzz every 30 seconds just as advertised. The charge holds over night – so they never stop. I don’t know if they’re actually driving the mole away … but they are a great conversation piece.

Easy to put in and we were mole free within a few days of putting them in the ground

These do work. Each unit emits a beep every 20-30 seconds. If are wanting some quiet times in your yard, you will have to turn them off for a bit.

I highly recommend these if you have moles in your yard. I have not had one mole destroy my yard since I put them in my yard. They WORK!

We have a 72 foot green house. The Voles were destroying our tomato plants. We installed all four of these and over the course of a week the destruction slowed down, then stopped. Thank you

This product may be the solutions to gopher / mole problems in the backyard. Since placing them in Rectangle position 20 by 20 the enclosed area seems to be dominate for 4 days without any new digging.
I will come back and update this section after one week in a half .

I was not sure if they would but after 6 weeks in the ground the moles are moving on. Only thing the buzzing can get annoying from time to time I was expecting the tone to be much lower frequency

They seems to keep moles away. It’s pretty loud. They turn on every minute or so. One of it is stuck on “on” though. It runs until the battery dies and comes back when it’s charged enough.

mole problems tunneling under our lawn for years. I decided to take a chance on these and installed 4 around the property. Over time, there seems to be no more mole activity! Actually it looks like they moved to the front lawn about 100 feet away so I need to buy more.

Tried putting the worms in the ground but that didn’t work. Landscaper told us that you cannot totally get rid of them but these have made them leave the area. They probably went to a neighbor’s but at least our yard isnt dug up!

Calling this a “thumper” (which seems to be how it’s categorized) is a misnomer. It’s a beeper. And, it’s noticeably loud on a quiet evening. Our neighbors close by don’t love them. But whether it’s due to this product, a change in the weather, or other factors we clearly have fewer moles on our property now. I was afraid our dogs were going to react poorly to this sound, but they’ve really not paid any mind. I’m going to leave them in place for the season and see how well they hold up.

One stake doesn’t work and I wrote a note to Amazon asking if I had to box all up and return or if one stake could be sent to me and no one answered. I guess we just use the 3 that work. It was a good price so ok.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter traps, chemicals, and smoke bombs failed to solve our mole problem, I was ready to try sonic repellants, but with low expectations. After two months, I am pleased to say they help a lot. In areas where moles refuse to leave, treatment with castor oil and detergent in addition to the sonic repellers chases them away. The devices are simple and easy to use. When things are quiet, even with the windows closed, the noise from 8 of them around the house is faintly audible, but not annoying. My only complaint is the fragility of these devices. They look robust in the pictures, but are surprisingly light weight. I tried installing them by hand after a rainstorm, but found that they only penetrated our sandy New England soil about 3 inches. Wiggling or twisting them to get more penetration was a mistake. The solar heads are fragile and it is easy to break the seal where they join the stake. It is imperative to make a properly sized hole for these devices that they can be dropped into easily. Installed flush with the ground, they seem to be safe from lawn mowing, but I am still careful to avoid wheel contact. It is not clear whether it will be better to leave them in place this winter or remove and reinstall them in the spring. Either way, I will be using them again next year, because they work.

I put a set of 4 of these around my property and in a week or so, saw no further evidence of moles. I also put down some grub killer which is recommended to help get rid of them. The beeping is a little annoying, so try not to put them around a porch or patio. They are easy to install if your soil is not too rocky or tightly packed.

I have had trouble with ground moles for a few years now, my grandmother lives beside me and last year she bought the nikand solar mole repellent. It worked great for her yard but it pushed them into mine, I’ve had mine out for a few weeks now and all signs of the ground moles are gone!!! Great product and easy to use and set up.

I know that rabbits are not classified as rodents, but they do burrow and are very destructive. I originally bought this product because I was hoping that it would be a snake repellent as indicated on the box. If it does not work on rabbits I doubt very much if it will work on snakes. It may work on moles but I have to say I am very disappointed. I have to admit although I was not pleased with the Sonic Deterrent Mole Stopper, I was completely impressed with the customer service of this company, thus the five stars. I did try their outdoor solar lanterns and I was amazed at the reality of the “flaming light”.

It actually works! The first week we started using them we saw great results. Covered all the holes to make sure it was working and we haven’t seen new ones since then. If you are going to spend some time outside I recommend turning them off for a bit. Other than that would definitely buy again.

These worked in my yard. They keep the moles and the squirrels away. Now my neighbor has them. Only negative they are noisy and you have to create a hole for them so they are deep enough in the ground. I’ll buy more if they somehow stop working.

I’ve had these in the ground since early February for about 6 weeks now. There are no new mounds/holes. My yard is only 40 feet wide so I placed them from corner to corner along the back property line (I got a pack of 4). I hear them beep alternately. To be totally open, I live on a golf coarse and the grounds keepers trapped 2 varmints about a month ago, but I’m guessing there were a lot more.

It works! Gophers were winning and there were quite a few. Built big mounds which I flattened with tractor bucket.
I needed two orders for coverage and now one.periodically tests the edges.
    Not sure why they
market them as ultrasonic. I can hear them clearly and guess the audible about 10K.
Sounds a little annoying but they work for me.

The NIKAND Solar Mole Repellent items are solar-powered and charge up as expected. I previously reviewed this item and gave it a less than stellar review because the chipmunks continued to carry on as usual. Customer Service contacted me and offered a full refund or a free replacement. I elected the free replacement and received it immediately After installation the chipmunks have “left the building”. I suppose the original set of Mole Repellents were not working properly. I cannot say enough good about this organization, they may be small but others could copy their customer relations and service. I’d recommend them to one and all.

It only took a few days for the chipmunks to disappear. I would say this to the people who are thinking about buying this. Look at how this works in different soils. Where I am, it is clay. It is advertised most effective in clay.

The product appeared to be making a high pitched sound triggered by motion as designed. Whatever was in my yard did not respond to it. That was the only reason for the previous rating I gave the product. the company offered to send me other products for the yard to make up for my dissatisfaction, offered a refund, and even sent a gift of some nice solar lamps for the yard. This company tries very hard to assure customer satisfaction.

I bought these for a chipmunk problem and was a little skeptical. I’ve had them in one week and just ordered another set. I havent seen any chipmunks nor all the mulch that they usually scatter around. Also, these surprisingly keep my dogs out of my gardens which is a perk I wasn’t expecting!!! I wish I had a before and after from my garden in one week. You do here a slight hum (like other reviewers mention) -it is sporadic and when we had company over this weekend for a bbq I just pulled it out of the ground where we were sitting and put it back in when we were done. That’s it.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersOnce I put these in properly they worked really well to get rid of our mole problem. They emit a high-pitch sounds to drive away the moles. I did have trouble getting them into the ground and contacted the company and they gave me a work around which work perfectly. you need to first find a spike to bang into the ground pull it out and then put in the mole repellent. Turn in before you totally install. Also, voer the company, they should be out 96 feet apart.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersWe have a huge gopher and rabbit problem in our garden and front lawn. We tried the gopher bombs and it helped for a few months but the problems came back after our new neighbor started their landscape. The solar seems to be helping after a few days, the gophers haven’t dug their way into our garden anymore and the bunnies are still around but staying off our grass. One thing I wish i knew before buying was that it is audible to humans as well and it will annoy the hell out of you if you have it near the house. Our dogs seem to be okay with it though.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI have used these solar mole deterrents for a few weeks now. I have placed them in 4 areas of my front yard. They emit a low sound that is not annoying to people, but seems to be working on the mole problem I have. I used to see where moles would cause upraised trails all over my yard. I placed two on one side (spaced out) beside my driveway and two on the other side (spaced out). I know they are helping because I’ve barely seen any activity in the yard now. The only places I have seen any mole activity are a good distance away from these devices and that activity has been minimal (may need one more for front yard). I have almost an acre-sized yard so I will need to order a few more of these to protect my back yard, also. So far, I feel that they are worth the money!
