I’ve been looking at dehumidifiers for a while and I have noticed that most have very small water tanks, this unit can take up to 6.5 liters which is perfect for me. A full tank for me is around 24hours as my house isn’t really damp and I’m only using it to just dry laundry. Laundry drying time was around 3/4 days and this dehumidifier has cut that time day to 1/2 days which makes so much difference. The unit looks smart and well made, carry handle on the water tank it very secure and doesn’t feel like it’s going to break even when your carrying it when it’s full. Noise levels are ok, yes you know it’s on but I live in a very busy house so don’t really notice it. Easy to move around on casters but if you have to carry it it is heavy. Very happy with it.

    Great uni

The machine is quiet, but the air flow through it is quite vigorous.
The water tank when full is not easy to remove and can be quite heavy. Emptying it is frustrating due to the shape of the tank itself which causes water to run out of other corners than the one from which you are trying to pour.
Overall the machine does what it is supposed to without making a song and dance about it.
I can certainly recommend both the machine and the seller.

Good size and smart looking. Control panel easy to use. Quite heavy to take up the stairs, which is where I need it, but that makes it very stable. Seems to use 10 to 12p an hour. Put it in a bedroom where I had a leak in the ceiling, collecting some water but not as much as I would have thought given the dampness.
So far pleased with it and as I am not in the room the fan doesn’t bother me, sounds like a fan heater with two speed settings.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI like that this is quiet, even on the high fan setting for laundry drying it is fairly quiet. The tank is large and easy to empty, I use the water collected to water plants. There is a viewing bar so you can see the water level. It is easy to use, lots of settings to get the use you want.
I would have liked a longer cable, it is 160cm but I have to plug it in to a socket above the work top. It just reaches.
Overall, very pleased and would recommend.

Our previous one was an Electriq and ok, it did the job, it packed up just after expiry of warranty. So decided to get a different one as the makers of Electriq were not the most helpful.
It was simply eyes closed, finger over the screen and see where it landed . Read the write ups, made a “D” and went for it. The Ometa Pure dehumidifier is brilliant, does what it says and in our house means a lot.
    Well worth the finger pick

    Better than the previous one.

Great piece of kit, only been running it for a few hours and it already has a couple of litres of water in the tank. On the lower fan speed there is hardly any noise, a little bit louder on high speed but its not really intrusive. I’ve yet to check the running costs, so cannot comment on energy efficiency. My only minor criticism is there is no operating instructions in the box. But overall I am very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this to dry out the deep void under our suspended timber floor following a water leak. It has proved very effective and has reduced the humidity level to almost normal in less than a week. I have been emptying the tank twice a day and initially it was full each time suggesting it was pulling out 13l a day. It could probably achieve the stated 20l a day in some situations. I plan to leave it in auto mode to make sure the humidity remains acceptable. Only one problem. The instructions suggest wiping the tank inside as well as outside but don’t tell you how to get the lid off. The only way to do it is to remove the handle which isn’t obvious but can be done. All in all I’m very pleased with my purchase.

It’s so quiet. It pulls a lot of water from the walls of my room. The capacity is large, so you don’t have to empty it very often. very easy to use

We bought this product to dry out a room after some building works and it performed extremely well, within no time we’ve got a dry room ready for flooring and painting. It came with comprehensive instructions and was very easy to use. It’s quiet and has a really easy to read visual display. For the money this really is value for money, I highly recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNever owned a dehumidifier before but thought it would be great to use alongside my drying clothes in the house to avoid damp. It seems to be working really well it also helps dry the clothes a lot faster too. It has quite a few settings and ive only really used the basic ones but there are many options. I like that it comes on wheels which makes it a lot more easy to maneuver, great considering the thing is really heavy. It doesn’t look too intrusive in the home setting and is fairly quiet but not on max setting. I personally would just use in the day time when noise isn’t an issue.

Great product. So happy with it already. It’s much quieter than your expect and really efficient. We noticed the difference in the dampness in our dryer the next day! Definitely worth it!
