I love this product and have used it to do chicken shawarma & lamb&pork gyros it is fantastic. Assembly was very easy but one thing I didn’t like was that the skewer was touching the metal of the hole when turning. It didn’t matter which holes I used to fit the motor bracket to the ring I couldn’t get what I wanted. So I slid the motor down part way and crimped the bracket below it so it will not go all the way down. This now allows the skewer to rotate without touching. Hope video shows this. All that said it was a 5 min fix and I am very happy with the item. Happy cooking.

I saw someone using this on You Tube and it looked very good but was about half the price of the Weber rotisserie. I found one on Amazon and bought it hoping it would perform as well as Weber. It arrived very promptly and was easy to assemble. I have used it on numerous occasions and have been very impressed with the performance and the results. I ‘ring’ fit my Weber 57cm kettle perfectly and the two, four pronged keep the meat in place while it cooks. The motor is so quiet I would almost call it silent. The rods holding the meat obviously get encrusted with meat juices during cooking bur are easy to clean even after several uses look like new. I have no hesitation of recommending this great bit of kit.

I’ve cooked shawarma, a whole chicken and a piece of topside beef on here so far! Absolutely brilliant addition. It’s easy to use, set it up, set it going and leave it alone! Works well with the lid on or off. Get a digital quick read thermometer to check internal temperatures to be absolutely sure everything’s cooked properly

Well packaged, adequate instructions and considerably lower cost than the Weber version. Positives are Weber rotisserie accessories (skewer kit, basket) fit the supplied rod, the build quality is as good as the weber rotisserie on my gas bbq. The stainless steel version contrasts well, and should last longer.
The only issue I have is the 57 mastertouch has rollers for the lid, and these foul the extension ring…. Will need to take a dremel to the ring.

    Fits 'some' Weber 57 grills

Once it was properly assembled and lit , it worked well and I have not complaints about its operation. My one slight nag is the poor assembly instructions. The small illustrations showing how to assemble it show the cable coming out of the top of the motor (WRONG). After I assembled it in this way, it didn’t look right and I spotted in the photo on the back of the multifold leaflet that the cable should come out of the bottom of the motor – i.e. I had been trying to assemble it with the motor upside down – doh! The other tip I would give is to make sure that the prongs holding the meat in place are REALLY secure – i.e. little wing nuts done up tight against a flat part of the spit rid. Mine came loose and moved – so for a while, the rotisserie was turning but the meat wasn’t!
