This is a great shed. Much more solid than I expected when it arrived in the component parts.
I took me 3 days to assemble in total – the instructions are ok but I think they assume that you are in a completely open space with a team of people and all the washers and screws ready to go.
Having said that, I really like the way it goes together and will be so much easier in the long run than a wooden shed as it doesn’t need to be treated.
The delivery on this product was faster than expected which was brilliant. We had read the reviews and knew it would be a days build which it was! Definitely need at least 2 people, the instructions were poor but found a YouTube of a man building it which helped.
Overall yes a very frustrating build but the end product looks great and for the price it was well worth the effort.
When mine was unboxed it was mis-shapen in places due to poor handling at some point. Easy enough to fix with pliers. I hired two guys to put it up and it took them 7plus hours to construct it.
All that aside I am very pleased with the shed, but it is a task to erect hence only 4 stars.
Great shed easy to assemble need 2 to 3 people for best results but can be Done with 2 Great colour looks amazing in garde
It took me over two days to complete the assembly with some help from my wife. This was mainly due to the ambiguity of the assembly instructions, it is easy to fit parts the wrong way round. What few written instructions there are included ‘ Pay attention to dumping ‘ What does that mean ?
However, once assembled the shed looks good and is good value for money. Just be prepared for many frustrating hours putting it together.
Instructions are a bit hit and miss, some experience would be an advantage to assembly. One man with ladders two days or two men in one day.
Good quality design and materials, although this is not airtight in design. For what it offers it’s a good product for a good price.
Really pleased with the end result.
Negatives
1) The ‘picture’ instructions were not all that clear.
2) Holding and screwing the pieces together was very difficult, so of you have third person, it could make life easier.
3) Whilst putting it together, particularly the back, was a bit wobbly (hence the chair in one of my pics to give some support).
4) Took us (me and the wife) around 16 hours to complete!! Yes, I’m not all that great at DIY (LOL!)
5) The shrink wrap is VERY tricky to peal off! This took half of the time!!
6) We ran out of washers, they really could have done with providing double the amount.
7) WARNING! The large flat box is VERY HEAVY! Get someone to help you. The metal is quite thin, so if you knock it, it will buckle. Having said that, it is thin enough to bend SOME buckles out.
Positives
I know I have put a few issues on here, but it is a nice looking shed, and fit for what I need for. I really do like that for a metal shed, it has the wood look finish. The size is plenty big enough for what I need to put my garden stuff in. It’s not too bad a value for money, I’m happy what I spent on it.
Quite fiddly to assemble, but instructions are very clear. It took 1and a 1/2 days to complete. 2 people ( my husband is 80 and I am 70 ) thought the metal would be a bit thicker but a good shed never less.
It looks nice when it is assembled, but it was really hard to put details together (one week job for two of us). Instructions are often not clear.
