The instructions were a bit unclear. Look very carefully at the tiny arrows and count the screws. I managed to mostly put this together myself, I needed help when putting the second large panel on and the door, just to steady the rest of the shed. It took ages to paint, but that is because I decided to do the inside for additional protection and then blue and white stripes! Why? I wanted a beach hut effect. Seems a sturdy shed, I fixed hooks on the inside to hang small things. Storage is decent enough and it looks cool in the garden even on a drab day!
A lovely little shed. Easy to assemble and exactly what I need for the side of my greenhouse. Simple and effective storage and has characte
The finished product is exactly as described and illustrated in the online advert. It is sturdy enough and weatherproof. Good. But do not buy this unless you are sure of your ability to use hand tools. In particular, assembling and hanging the door so it swings freely in its frame is quite an exacting task. So, good product, good value for money, but not a beginner’s assembly procedure.
We needed somewhere to store brooms and things and didn’t want a big shed so ordered this. Delivered on time in good condition and no damage. Took about 2 hours to assemble but I did glue all the panels together with waterproof wood glue. Overall very impressed and in away cute, is it value for money ? Yes as it fits my purpose with style and has added some charm to the garden. Yes it’s lightweight but for its size and purpose I’m very pleased with it. As for waterproof it should be but if your worried repaint with 3 good coats of wood waterproof paint colour of you choice. It is easier to assemble with two but can be done at a push on your own.
Cute little shed. Using to store bbq stuff(cages and utensils) at the moment. Not particularly sturdy and would need securing if in an exposed area but fulfills our needs.
Cute little shed. I felt for my usage it needed a shelf but it was easy enough to add a shelf with a random piece of wood I had. It is definitely not the sturdiest but for the price it is great & 100% waterproof. Very happy with it.
I am very happy to report that the product arrived in good time. It took no time for my friend to put it together, no missing bits either. I am really please with it. I was a bit worried after reading the reviews from other buyers. The box outside arrived with holes and I emailed supplier and they told me that when I opened it and there are damage items they will sort it out. Customer service is good. I have given 4 stars for weatherproof because I have just got it up and standing. I think it should be fine for my use.
Our main garden shed is pretty small and always jam packed – with the lawnmower, strimmer, loads of kids stuff, garden furniture – I always end up struggling to get into, let alone get access to my gardening tools, bits and pieces. I bought this little tool shed to ‘rescue’ my stuff and free up space.
When it was delivered, I was disappointed to find that there was no sign of an instruction sheet in the box, but the company were great, and sent me a PDF of the assembly sheet when I contacted them.
The shed was very easy to assemble, in the end. The pieces are very light, and although I did have some doubt as to their strength and stability whilst assembling them, everything ended up square and level, and the fixings were tight. I fixed two stainless steel screw eyes to the back of the shed attached to two small lengths of chain, and in turn, attached these to the fence behind it with small hooks for extra stability.
The quality of the fittings was decent, and the mineral felt roof was very sturdy and of good quality. Although it has a weather resistant finish I intend to give it a couple of coats of exterior wood paint to extend its life. We’ve not had any rain since the shed has been assembled, so the weatherproofing has yet to be tested.
The little ‘loft’ area is a bit of a ‘Mary Poppins’ carpet bag’ affair – being surprisingly spacious; I’ve managed to fit lots in there with room to spare. I fitted some tool hooks to the interior of the shed with no more nails adhesive (as I didn’t want to risk putting screws in and piercing the exterior) – and to the reverse of the door (screwed into the cross-batten) – for all the spades, forks etc and hand tools. The shelves are pretty decent, too – if a little small.
Overall, I’m impressed with the quality of this little shed, given the price range, as well as the excellent customer service of the seller. I would definitely consider an ‘Outsunny’ garden item in the future.
Bought this item to free up some space in the garage and provide area where my wife and daughter could easily access the gardening tools.
It’s a nice little shed, reasonable sturdy once put together and fits in well with our garden (the bees love it – flocked to it during construction, must be the wood type). The shelves don’t look like they’ll take a great deal of weight but I suppose they are designed for a few plastic pots, gloves, small tools, etc.
Was a little tricky putting together as the instructions are not always clear (i.e. they note the placement of dowels on the pictures for “what’s included”, not the pictures used for assembly, so I had to take it apart and re-do it after I realised I had loads of dowels left over.
Some of the wood/holes don’t align very well and took a couple of attempts to get some of them in straight, though luckily didn’t have to re-drill any. The door was hardest bit as kept slipping while attaching hinges – ideally need an another body to hold it in place, but the rest was easy enough solo.
Overall not too bad, maybe a tad over priced and instructions could be better. Also lots of polystyrene in packaging – great for protecting the wood, nightmare for disposing of.
In short: Brought it to store tools and overall I’m very happy. I just ordered a second to store logs.
Longer review:
– Put it together myself in the rain in 30mins. Would be easier with two people.
– Instructions don’t show where to put the dowels but that’s obvious.
– When putting the hinges on I missed the back of the door beam on one hinge but it’s still fine.
– Size is good, as described.
– Shelves inside are a bit small, but solid enough.
– Some if the wood was split, but it’s a cheapish garden shed, so to be expected for the price I’m confident it’s still weatherproof.
– Overall really happy with it, ordered a second.
Well expensive for what it is and the size . However looks cute fits what we needed it for and funny thing is everyone seems to comment on it .. so I’m happy as it’s sturdy good looking and small enough not to be in the way
The shed is made from pretty thin sheets of wood. It’s therefore very light and easy to assemble for one person. Putting it together was fine – until I got to the door, which was a pain to align properly so it wouldn’t catch at either top or bottom. You absolutely must weatherproof this shed or else it will not last long. Firstly I brushed decking oil over it. Once that had dried, I painted it with weatherproof sealant. I did all of this on the outside and inside. The wood is VERY orange straight out of the box – nothing like the online pictures. I love it, but it might not be to everyone’s taste/fit everyone’s colour scheme. For what it is, I find it too expensive. I paid 150, but a price around the 100 mark would be far more appropriate, considering the quality of the materials.
Easy instructions. All parts labelled. Pre drilled holes. Easiest flat pack ever! If your tools have long handles you might have to forego the little loft area. I love it!
pertect for small garden stuff bits and bobs ..not to heavy 🙂
Do not expect high end carpentry but as a storage cupboard for the garden it is perfectly adequate. Wood is lightweight, joints are adequate. Certainly not totally waterproof but will protect tools etc. We use it to store barbecue equipment and coals and does a fine job. Will need painting wit a good outdoor paint to protect the wood. Also no foot protection either raise off the ground or fine some rubber boots to stop rotting.
The shed was easy to put together , even for a complete numpty like myself, other than the door . I found it difficult and am still not sure it’s on as well it should be . However , it opens and closes so that will do . I painted it with Cuprinol before I assembled it , just to give it extra protection. It seems strong enough for my tools which is what it was supposed to do , so all in all , am happy with i
Very nice and useful really brightens up my small garde
Instruction could have been clearer so only 4 stars. But overall very happy and did not take long to put together. Happy with the quality especially for the price
Joking aside, it looks the part & is a relatively easily built little tool shed, which I am using as a log store instead, just left out the shelves.
Just got to wait for the blue tits to stop nesting so I can put it in final position.
Very happy so far.
Quite easily assembled but it does need 2 people, I added some extra hooks inside to put garden tools on to give more floor space. Love the little top storage, ideal to store my trowel etc.
I needed a small shed for a small tight space. With careful loading you can store quite a lot in this shed and even the widget area at the top stores several paint tins, etc.
I stained the outside twice to give it more protection from the elements. Assembing was OK .. I took my time .. 2 to 3 hours to make sure everything was accurate and screwed in tightly.
Very pleased. Decent quality at a super price. May buy a second one.
I love my new shed! My husband built it for me which took about an hour purely because it was a bit of a nightmare finally getting slightly off bits to line up and he’s pretty good at all things diy – we nailed it against the fence for added security just Incase coz it’s not the strongest of woods and I was worried it might blow down in a strong wind. It’s bug enough for my garden stuff and I absolutely live it! I think it’s great for a budget shed and would definitely recommend, I will paint it with Cupranol for sure as the coat that’s on it is definately not enough to weatherproof it or hide some imperfections where some little bits have been missed.
Happy Customer!
Arrived very quickly. Packaged well instructions easy to follow as every piece is labelled. I’m disabled and put this up by myself with just a screw driver. Plenty space for what we needed and measured as expected. Recommend this product. High quality 🙂
Considering the size it holds all I need for my gardening
This arrived in good time and was surprisingly easy to assemble, even did it on my own. Good value for money, would recommend.
Easy to build and completely done in two hours. Just what was needed by the back door. Broom/ mops and other useful items , all tidied away.
easy to assemble all screws and other fittings packed separately and clearly labelled
I love this little shed , perfect on my terrace . Looks great and made well,
but the holes for the screws in some places didn’t match up ? Also we added a for screws to make it more sturdy. Overall happy
Too expensive for what it is but the size was perfect for me, a few chipped areas, nothing serious, instructions could be Improved by having an extra square with a diagram but all in all I’m happy with i
Little flimsy pleasing to look at. Nice space inside for the little space it takes up. Ideal
This was pretty easy to build . I originally bought the unpainted version and painted it to my own taste using weatherproof paint .
I would recommend sitting it upon weatherboards or something similar to avoid any chance of damp.
Very sturdy. Nice unusual shape. Had it to store lawn mower and strimmer . Lovely grey colou
Eccentric, sentry style, attractive shed. Ideal for forks, trowels, small gardening equipment. Shelves keep bulbs and bottles well organised.
Storage in a small garden, i did repaint it, but it’s fine for my needs
Very pleased the way it was easy to assemble looks grea
Needed a small shed to go on my patio and this was just the job. It was easy to assemble and seems quite sturdy with enough room for most of my gardening tools So far very pleased with my purchase.
This is a perfect size for any garden. I wanted it for our longer garden tools. Perfect. Shelves are adjustable. I keep the bird food in it to.
Nice item. Not hard to put together.
Paint isn’t 100% perfect so touched up so it lasts longe
Aftersales is brilliant
Couldnt fault this seller
Shed looks lovely
The assembly instructions were easy to follow. I’m really pleased with the finished result. A very useful vertical storage shed.
Easy to assemble. Small, but big enough to store sweeping brush, shovel, spade, hoe, bird seed etc. Not waterproof, rains in a little if the rain is heavy.
It’s great for what we wanted. Fits karcher and spades etc. The little attic is great for gloves and hand tools
It’s out of the way so we painted it with a rubberised paint so it shouldn’t need maintenance
Love the item but base unit had to be cut to fit and slight damage to roof which I have fixed
I use this as a chicken coop. When assembling please note that the picture shows everything being put together at once. It needs to be assembled a) each side remembering upright dowels, b) connect with horizontal dowels, putting in floor. Put roof on, door on and then shelves. I didn’t fasten the shelves and floor with screws as I need to remove and clean.
Sturdy shed. Lovely colour. Well made.
Just the size I wanted to fit my garden tools and pots in. Also my water hose
Definitely need two people to assemble. Although it was stated it had a good coat of paint I couldn’t agree especially with winter approaching. I have given the shed a further two coats of outside protective paint. Other than that very pleased with the little shed.
I use the product as intended as a small garden shed
The shed was easy to put up good parts All fitted together well and pretty solid once finished
When this arrived I thought it was quite small and strange looking. Almost like a centries box. But after it was stained and put in place I really like it. Nice wood and well made but check out the measurements before you buy
First the good stuff. Quality of the wood machining generally was good and accurate..apart from one door panel a couple mm shorter than adjoining panels, far better than I expected and have seen on similar products. The wood might feel a little flimsy but I wouldn’t expect anything heavier for a shed this size. If put together properly it is sturdy enough.
It was delivered early. Two persons are realistically required to both manage handling the package and construct the shed or you will definitely risk damage to self and/or shed.
The instructions were straight forward and accurate provided you take a little time to read them properly first.
There a couple of anomalies; The hinges are not as shown in the ad. Black painted Tee hinges came with mine. The upper door (curiously described as a window) did not have the metal bolt shown, only a simple wooden latch.
The above were not really an issue for me and a simple latch is sometimes preferable.
One customer noted that there was no upper floor. This was not the case with mine so the second floor provided additional useful storage in what would usually be a wasted void.
It was difficult to tell that the wood had been treated with water resistant but I treated mine anyway.
All in all it was pretty good value for money (It wouldn’t have been if not for the quality of the machining), easy on the eye and easy to construct with well fitting joints.
I noticed that a potential customer wanted to store treadmill in it. Although it all fits together well, the door will permit a little water in if door is facing a gale but does ensure some essential ventilation.
Good quality assembly required as it is in lots of prices but fairly easy to follow instructions looks grea
Good value for money, the assembly is relatively straightforward and can been done by one person in an hour. The shed holds more than you would think for the size.
Make sure to set it on a flat surface. Extend the shelves to make it more useful. Give it an extra coat of paint inside and out and it should last a bit longer. I like it.
Pretty easy to assemble – took about 1/1.5 hours. Pretty little shed – just whats needs for rakes, brushes, shovels etc
Instructions w r re
Instructions we a bit vague as t o how the back had to be fitted but on whole pleased with i
It is what I wanted but there is no shelf in the roof bit. I have put bigger door hinges on to improve the strength. It’s not the strongest but it’s a nice looking easy bit of storage.
Some of The panels were poorly painted , the instructions need you to use a bit of common sense eg the O batten on the instructions shows it fits flush with the facial but it is not as wide ………answer , a gap is needed to allow the door to recess , but it doesn’t tell you this
I needed a shed with specific dimensions that has enough space for a ladder and golf clubs, so this was perfect for the job. Very good quality for the price I feel.
Relatively easy to assemble (it took 1 – 1.5 hours to assemble). I painted/stained mine before assembly and put a final coat after assembly. It looks very well and will hopefully last a good few years.
There is one small straight piece that, as far as I recall (could be wrong), isn’t referenced in the instructions. I only noticed it after finishing the assembly. My guess is that its purpose is to fix the door in place while you attach the hinges (the trickiest part of the assembly, but would have been easy with the additional fixing). I did put the hinges in slightly the wrong position (cf pics); I left them alone as I didn’t want to risk rounding the screw heads
