Q1: How to connect to the computer?

- Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn on the portable printer
- Choose Paperang F1S as the printer to start inkless A4 printing on your PC/Mac

– When printing several pages continuously, there will be a 5-sec gap between each printed page for you to tear off the print.

I was really excited to receive this printer as I was sick of paying for ink all the time and thought this will save some money. However, the printer only comes with a roll of A4 paper that is the equivalent of 30 pages. Now, the app is mostly chinese and difficult to navigate if you don’t speak the language. Furthermore, after you print the paper doesn’t rip of smoothly which doesn’t work for me as a teacher I need straight cut worksheets for my student. If you compare the price of 20 something for a roll of termal paper to the ink that will give twice as much printed pages, there are really no savings
This is a compact printer which is easy to set up and use. The difference from other small thermal printer is the size. This one can print A4 size which means you can print most of works rather than just labels. As you don’t need ink for this printer it is good value for saving money. The print quality is good and it can print fast.
The idea itself about a small and portable printer, full size A4 is just amazing and just had to be done.
Now, the way it was designed and done – a bit tricky.
The printer comes packed very well. Likes everything about the package and stuff.
It’s not very big, not very heavy as well, just a Type C cable in the set and a roll of paper.
The device feels very well made, good plastic, sturdy and buttons and moving parts are working well.
Connecting to the phone was not very easy.
It has to be created an account and after that, to fill in some more details and information, then sometimes the app just says it has to be logged out and logged in. Like – the login expired – happened to me.
Then it’s not very easy to add documents into the app. More precisely the documents has to be opened with the printer app, otherwise it’s not working.
Then with a bit of luck, printing goes easily.
The biggest issue with this printer – if using a roll of paper, how am I supposed to cut it from there? There’s no special knife or part which will allow me to cut the paper, just a long blade which I’m not even sure if it’s sharp – it’s next to the output area of the paper and nothing more to operate in order to get a nicer cut paper. That annoys me a lot.

It’s really portable and can print long lists,

The price – I don’t really know if it’s fair or not. For me it’s a bit expensive for a printer.

The printer includes one roll of paper, but refills and 4 inch ordinary / sticky rolls are also available on Amazon. Overall, a versatile printer with good black and white print quality that is ideal for home and travel.
Had an issue with printing, contacted the seller and they were quick to resolve the issue by sending me a new unit.
Using the new unit, it’s a great machine, I took this on my latest cruise and was able to print my work whilst traveling, super convenient.

I have had a play about with this printer it was easy to setup and quick at printing however I can only print in a4 there are no settings in the app to resize so I think you need the thermal paper in different size rolls to do this so would end up costing abit in the end after looking online you get an a4 thermal paper roll for 20 pound and that prints around 30 a4 pages again not much really for the price.
The print quality is good and it’s quick I personally would of probably returned this if i had purchased it I’m quite happy using my Epson printer and would cost less to use even after buying ink

We already own a 6 x 4 thermal printer in the house however it is not portable although it works over usb to pc or bluetooth (to tablets or phones)
This however is an A4 thermal printer (it can do smaller sizes too) which is totally portable due to the fitted battery which does give a good deal of running time (approx 150 prints), a roll of thermal paper is included with the printer.
Great print quality and does a grand job if all your needs are basic mono printing, can imagine this be a useful addition to the home and a great addition to any mobile business being able to issue invoices, receipts etc as well as thermal shipping labels for postage.

Easy set up, almost silent, smooth and fast printing. Prints A4 size and paper can be cut to measure. Light and portable. Thermal paper is thin and curved after printing so not for serious professional looking docs. Great for travel as it runs off battery so prints anywhere.
This Paperang printer is a useful portable printer. It is perfect for taking on work related trips away. Most hotels do have printing facilities but some don’t and it is a hassle having to find a shop that offers printing service if you need it at short notice.
This printer is small and lightweight. It is easy to transport and fully portable. It is straightforward to install though you do need to follow the instruction manual. You need download a specialist app to print. It uses the more expensive thermal paper but as a result it saves on printing ink and all the risk of messy leakages that that may cause. We use Zebra printers at the office anyway so we are used to thermal paper printing.
This is a good portable work printer and ideal for traveling.
In the pack there is the printer, charging cable(usb-c), use manual and that is all because there is no need for more.
To set it up took me around 20 min, unfortunately I wish the company would add a qr code to be able to install the app easier but the user manual was pretty helpful.
The app is called paperand(same as the brand) and I because I use IOS it was easy to install(not sure about the android version). Obviously, I had to create an account and even though the printer was on I had to press the power button twice to get an activation qr code which I had to scan with the app the after the whole process everything was ready.
Now, to print something is not as easy as I thought because I had to get the files in the app using other….app, but finally I made that work.
The connectivity is through bluetooth and everytime it disconnects I have to press twice on the power button to get the action code, scan that one and then it wil reconnect which sometimes takes a bit of time but considering what this printer has to offer, I dont consider that a problem at all.
To print the documents I have to press a button and done!! For a full A4 paper it takes around 30 sec which for a portable printer that doesnt require ink is TOP!!
The battery lasts for around 30 prints which h is more that I expected! There is something very important to mention, this printer is not using A4 regular paper but instead is it using thermal paper roll which I have to buy separately and based on my research it costs around 14.
The quality of the print at 300dpi is very good and even when I take the freshly printed paper there is not ink that might leak!!! Also, it is easy to sign with a pen on the paper.
Overall experience: I cannot be more grateful that this printer came on the market! It is very helpful for my work!
This printer is so easy to set up and the app is excellent.
It’s a nice compact printer that you can take anywhere because of the built in battery and it connects to your phone via Bluetooth.
It has a paper roll inside which can be changed very easily and can be purchased from Amazon too.
The print quality is excellent and is very quick too. It’s absolutely perfect for shipping labels and word documents.

With this printer I can pull up any orders that I have on my mobile phone and print straight to the printer without having to have a huge laptop or any other device with me, it also means that I don’t have to bring all of those packages back to my Home Office in order to work on them I can just get them ready for dispatch there and then saving me one extra step which saves me a lot of time and effort.
It has a massive battery which means that it just carries on printing and I never have to actually worry about charging it whilst I’m out I just have to charge it before leaving every time I want to go over to the storage.
It works on A4 size and below, I have mine set up to be able to print straight onto labels that are already sticky to save myself another extra step.
