I think the other reviews are a bit harsh, is it the best quality coop I’ve ever seen, no but for the price it never was going to be. For what you pay the quality matches up, the fact the mesh is small enough to prevent wild birds getting in and it is fully covered is great with avian flu being rife currently. If it is going to be exposed to the elements like mine is painting it like you would any outside furniture with some outside would paint or treatment is a good idea to preserve the wood.
Saying all that however the instructions are comically awful! We built ours through just common sense, it’s not a difficult shape and the panels all kind of make sense in where they go.
So my advice is its good value for money if you ignore the instructions and have some confidence in building things, and are happy to invest in some wood paint.
