This is very effective indeed and solved my cat poo problem overnight. If you set it up correctly it will work well!!

Great for scaring cats, for the kids to play in and to prank the mother in law. What more do you want for the money.

Brilliant piece of kit, I’ve only to turn the water on by 1/4 turn to get the distance i needed, five minuets to fine tune everything

Unlike the ultrasonic speaker variety, this gadget has actually stopped all the cats pooing in my garden. So long as you can connect up a hose, this is a pretty great solution.

Added instructions in case yours do not have them.
Brilliant idea and highly effective. The attached video shows this. I had the distance setting on low but still worked. Cat hasn’t returned so far.
Also was getting foxes in at night digging up plants. Not anymore..

    Best pest deterant by far..

This jet spray does work, we had fun setting it up got a bit wet with the process. Can’t say it’s got rid of the fox because it’s to smart and enters the garden in a different direction.

Good product. It’s not only stopping the foxes but it’s also deterring my dogs from going on my newly laid lawn. Has a good sensor and water reach.

After about 3 weeks I forgot to turn the water on to it. It’s been another 3 weeks and the cats are still avoiding the area. Can take a bit of setting up to get it exactly how you want even just the noise can scare them off. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Works really well and has stopped most of the cats from visiting our garden. Could do with a slightly wider field of view from the PIR detector.
An added bonus is that my 4 year old granddaughter loves running through the beam to set the water off in this hot weathe

We have used ultra-sonic devices before to deter cats from getting near our bird feeders with varying success. This really does the job without hurting the cats. They don’t like getting wet!
The spray pattern and distance is adjustable.
    Definitely recommend this product.

We had wood pigions rooking in the garden and making a mess. Nothing else worked. This worked straight away and they haven’t come back now in a month. Not sure how long the unit will last but for the purchase cost it was an excellent solution for us. I can recommend it.

So after many different routes to try and stop many cats digging up my garden, grass and bedding areas, this beauty popped in my suggestion (you know cause they don’t listen in) so I thought why not. As soon as it arrived it went up and its worked so far, even got the postie to use the path now rather than walking over the grass. Batteries lasted 4 days so not very impressive unless it really has just gone off that many time but I’d keep 4 I back up just incase. I’ve not noticed any new deposits in my garden after 5 days now so hoping its done and they’ve found somewhere else.

Rigged this up this afternoon and was waiting patiently for Mr Fox to arrive. It got the shock of its life and even banged it’s head on the garden furniture as it sprinted off at the speed of light whilst I was sniggering from the window like a 5yr child so far so good. For the comedy value this is definitely worth the money!!

My neighbours have two young cars. I like cats but don’t like them using an area of my garden as a toilet. I spent hours researching how to discourage them, without hurting them. I thought that this would be the best bet and I was right. The device was set up without trouble. The fouling has stopped and the cats are very wary of my garden. They have clearly had a good hosing down at some point and won’t be forgetting it.

I have a bird feeder above our kitchen window which attracts lots of small birds. The problem was that pigeons would land on the patio to eat food dropped by the birds. One morning there was 10 piles of pigeon poo on the patio, so something had to be done!
I installed this jet sprayer by the kitchen door, hid the hosepipe under some white gravel and used my DYMO to print on/off labels as both me and my wife more than once have forgotten to turn it off when we go outside and have been soaked.
After a week the pigeons were fed up of getting sprayed and our patio remains clean…job done!

Just bought this and so far has been very effective at keeping next doors six cats out, I also bought the more expensive ones that give out a high pitched sound that is supposed to frighten them away, the cats were sitting in front of them, so if you want my advice try this cheaper one first.

It’s too early to say for sure, but easy-enough to set up and the ‘trigger’ is very sudden – shocking in itself! As per the headline, it reminds me of a Sentry Gun from the film Aliens (Special Edition – cut from the original movie). Will report back when I’ve seen it work ‘in anger’. The cats that poop in our garden are in for a wet surprise… hopefully!

To start the set up instructions are totally naff. Check out a couple of videos on YouTube and the older chap explains everything and is very funny to watch.
Yet to see how it works with cats but managed to soak myself and my wife in the process.
The noise it makes should be enough to scare the crap out of that pesky cat if it works on the patio I’ll buy 3 more and protect the whole garden. Fed up with cats using our garden as their toilet. Fingers crossed this will do it.
Small criticism it’s very leaky at the joints so will be using PTFE tape to cure i

This Scarer works well, As long a you set it up correctly, make sure the You read the Instructions that are with this Item and familiar yourself with the setup instructions, You can adjust not only the height but also the length of the Spray on this, It may look like the sensor is pointing to low but when it activates you will be surprised at the action of this Scarer and the power it has to scare the animail off

Bought this to deter herons from our pond. Relatively easy to set up but be prepared to get a bit soggy whilst you’re doing it!! All in, it took about 15 mins but we’ve adjusted here and there since the initial set up.

No problems with pests of any type since installation, but our cat is annoyed that his favourite toilet underneath the privets at the back of the pond is now strictly off limits unless he slinks along the grass like a furry sausage.

I would suggest buying or using a hozelock connector with a built in valve as the unit itself does not have an on/off switch as far as I can tell. Other than that, 5 stars.

Seems impossible to lower height of spray as much as I’d like. Initially was in danger of going over the top of my fence & into neighbors garden but after much trial & error I found an acceptable, though not ideal, setting. When triggered the combination of sudden noise + spray is alarming. I left this in the problem area for several night & there was no evidence of nocturnal cat toileting. Due to frost I then disconnected the device & 2-3 weeks later the cat(s?) have not returned. I assume they learned a lesson. If they do return so will Pestbye! It’s not perfect but results so far are very encouraging.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI have been having fox issues and this seemed a good alternative as a remedy. I got an adapter from a supplier of pool/pond equipment so I could attach it to a pump sprayer (never contained anything but fresh water, I promise) to make it more portable. Last night it proved its worth. I think I’ll move it around to keep the fox on its toes.

The battle is real, the lines are drawn! They started to take my land and leave their minds all over the place. I was out of equipment id tried everything. Even chemical warfare when I was seen throwing chilli flakes and lemon Juice everywhere!

It arrived and does feel like a kids toy but dont let that put you off, the fire power in this thing is a thing of beauty. Easy to put together, You just need 4 AA batteries.

Connect hose and set sensitivity 0-9. Plug the hose with it on 0, that tips for free, no one likes friendly fire as you shoot yourself in the face with the water spray, cats laughign from a far.

I’ve had no issues with it but if its playing up a little dont have your tap fully open if you have high water pressure or you may be shooting your neighbours too.

It has kept the cats away from pooing where they are and they are losing ground as i fight them back, first thing thats worked!

    ** update **

Stopped using it during a ceasefire, two weeks till I found another poo…set it back up, the battle continues

Since installing this in the garden the cats have decided to find another Waste Convenience to use.
The motion detection range is very good.
Other reviews have mentioned that the noise is enough to deter cats.
This has been my experience too as it seems to keep much more garden free from presents than the range of the water spray.

As also mentioned, some Ptfe tape is recommended for making the joints leak free.
This is a minor modification for something so cheap but effective.

Bought this to stop cats crapping in our garden. I was sceptical but it really does work.
As others have said, wrap some PTFE tape around the joints and this will stop those annoying leaks. Every four or five days I move it to a new location in the garden to keep those pesky felines on their toes.

Easy to install and motion detection is pretty sensitive. Main issue we have is that the water spray width is not too wide and MUCH less than the angle that motion is detected, even with the little clip for the spray width set to the maximum apart.

So far seems a reasonable product, just wish we could spray the complete area that motion is detected.

The main body of the unit is a little top-heavy causing the unit to lean forward a little and the spike in the ground could do to be stronger but overall it does the job.

Bought 2 as my garden is long. My neighbour’s cat uses our garden as his own personal defecating hole. Now, we have seen him run like crazy every time the sprinkler goes off. You must test the sensitivity to every stage as well as the wide the sprinklers can cover. I have set the sensitivity near one to my house to 7 and 6 the other. Do not turn your tap to full, I have set mine halfway. I have only found 1 poop since I installed these and it was located in between the sprinklers, I might buy another and install it at the middle of the 2 to cover the middle. Battery wise, I have not replaced the batteries of both since I installed them, 1 April. All-in-all, it was a good buy and hoping it will last.

    Works!

Nextdoors ginger cat loves to deposit unwanted gifts on my front lawn. Its a small secluded spot which may be why it likes it there. Every morning there was a new one for me to have to clear up and sometimes they were revolting pools of foul smelling evilness that made me gag when I had to scoop it up.
Anyhow first of all I sealed the gap under the fence with wire mesh which was how it used to enter the garden. That stopped it for about a week but then it started again.
Next I purchased some metal cat silhouettes that look like cats from a distance. They had no effect. So I then bought one of the sonic deterrents that emit a loud noise that cats are supposed to hate and bingo! It stopped…for about a year and I thought I had cracked it. However, you guessed it….
It started again. The cat had learned that the sonic noise was not actually a threat.
So I had no choice, I had to try the water jet spray cat scarer. I was not especially hopeful because I thought it may be set off by branches swaying in the breeze but this actually rarely happens. I took a bit of time making sure all the hose connectors didnt leak and set it up to hit the area the cat used.
Hey presto… Immediate success. Its been on for 10 days now and not a single turd on my lawn. The cat usually visits at night and for the first 3 nights there was evidence the jet sprayer had been set off during the night but nothing since. I cant comment on battery life yet and the whole thing looks like it wont last forever due to some flimsy looking components , but so far brilliant. My only regret is that I couldnt film the cat getting soaked

Easy to install and really quite effective!!! We moved it round the garden during the first few weeks as the cats became familiar with it and managed to creep round it without setting it off. Remember to turn the hose off when pegging out washing as it could become a you’ve been framed moment 🙂

The leaflet info in the box doesn’t cover the pressure from the tap, I installed it all correctly and turned it on left it over night but because I turned the tap on fully the fox must have set the spray off but also with the pressure forced the hozelock connector too blow the pipe off (too much pressure) and flooded my garden so lesson learnt less pressure is needed. This should be on the box or info in it. I can’t see any info about this (tap pressure). But I love the idea, also the red clips don’t seem to work to make the spread of the spray wider ? Maybe I’m doing it wrong

We haven’t seen a cat in the garden since we installed this six months ago so would fully recommend. However, we accidentally left it running when there was a frost and frozen water in the system caused it to snap and break. We’ll be ordering another though.

We have up to 8 cats and 4 foxes use our drive as a short cut to the estate we live on. They also roam around the garden defecating in places. The animals get used to electronic scarers so after a while they stop being a deterrent. This jet spray is just the job, the sound of water leaving the jet initially scares them and the jet of water makes them leave the garden very quickly. I’ve had to take it down for the cold months as the water in the jet can freeze and damage it. Apart from that it’s a perfect scarer.

I did have problems fitting tiny screws into battery cover but supplier was most helpful. The most important thing is that since installing deterrent neighbour’s cat has not made an appearance. Just in case it was coming in during night I put out a dish of cat food and in the morning it was still there untouched so cat had definitely not been in in garden. Hopefully the deterrent will continue working and the birds will be safe, though I still mourn the Robin that the cat caught before I got deterrent.

Have been trying for a long time to stop the pigeons, rooks and magpies ( sometimes 20 or more at a time) filling my garden and lawn around my bird feeder, needed something that would scare the big birds and leave the small birds to feed, in the past I tried all sorts from ultrasound, preditor kites and seed catchers all with no success, this unit worked a treat and after a week the big birds gave up and didn’t come back.

Well done, didn’t have to sit and monitor unit, motion detector took care of that, standard batteries are still working, a snip to install, once again thanks and WELL DONE!!

The product is clearly made of cheap materials hence does not feel like it will last very long, however having read the other users’ reviews and applied their suggestions (I.e., don’t use the long attachment, use plumbers tape on threads to avoid leaks and make sure to have the right amount of water pressure to avoid constant sprinkling) I was actually very surprised to see that it has been very effective with foxes in particular. We’ve got new lawn that foxes would come and dig up at night and since using the sprinklers we have not had the problem at all. For that alone that has been 100% worth the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst things first I have had this for about a year and it does work to keep foxes and cats out of my garden. If for whatever reason it is off for a few days, the evidence of animals is quickly apparent. I tried other things like deterrent granules/spray and the ultrasonic ones, but this is the only thing that actually works consistently.

However this is my second one of these having bought the first one 10 months ago. The first problem I had was the plastic spike. It cracked a few months ago along one of the mould lines. I tried to repair, but it is under constant pressure from the water so I was wasting my time. I replaced it with a metal spike and have had no more issues.

It eventually stopped working a few days ago, only going off if pointed directly at the sun. I tried taking it apart and cleaning the PIR and the screen that covers it, but it made no difference. I noticed some moisture inside, although there was no evidence of corrosion.

With this replacement I am going to do two things. 1. Use silicone to seal around the pipe hole at the top where the sprinkler attaches as well as the seals around the sides. 2. Place it out of the sunlight.

I am hoping that will mean it lasts longer.

The batteries seem to last a very long time (months). I haven’t tried it with rechargeable.

If the average lifespan of these is 12 months, I will still buy them again because nothing else works as well. 4 stars because they should put a metal spike as standard and really it should have lasted me more than 10 months.

Motion detection is good, in fact I’ve had more dousing’s than the cats. The wind would set it off but I’ve turned the sensitivity dial down & it seems ok now. It certainly works & so far appears to be good value at the price. I used to have two cats stalking my bird table, laying in wait but I haven’t seen either since I installed it, so I guess it must be working. Can’t comment on battery life, not had it long enough & didn’t know it even had one.

Easy set up, big bursts of water when set off, sensor reasonably wide ranged and worked the first night. It actually scared me when I first set it up and it went off for the first time!!! Due to no fault of the machine the cheeky neighbourhood cats went BEHIND the sensor so I woke up to poop this morning – it would be good if the sensor was 360. All in all I’d recommend for the price. Cannot comment on battery life yet but it’s AAs so not too concerned.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWas a little worried due to some negative comments about build quality. Not an issue, all components fitted together well and no leakage when water turned on (although a diagram for assembly on the instructions would have been helpful). Spike is a bit wobbly with extender rod but again, a bit of care in placement meant it was well secured. As for the operation of the unit? A complete success. After watching for hours I was treated to the sight of the first ‘hit’. The fox using out raised bed as a toilet/sandpit almost took off vertically when the sprinkler blasted it. I truly haven’t laughed so much in years…revenge apparently isn’t served ice cold, it is served through a garden hose and PIR activated sprinkler.

It sort of works. It is a bit leaky and it swivels when it sprays which makes it difficult to aim. It was also too enticing for the children to play with so didn’t leave it our long enough to get the cat as the lawn was sodden from kids setting it off.

Great product and certainly works well, but after a month, the sensor seems to just spray as and when it feels like. Its a shame really as it has done the job of keeping cats out and there have been no more unwanted deposits since I used it. Worth if for the money I guess.

Having tried various cat repellent ideas over a time of 15 years including sound repellent, none worked, the neighbours with the 5 cats moved and we finally had a clear garden..until 5 months ago and a new cat appeared it decided to deposit in our garden. I am delighted to have come across a new product thats brilliant, it actually works! Our garden is clean again finally, things really have moved on..I read the previous reviews online and I agree that the quality could be better, the spike could easily break so make a hole first. The other thing is that when attached to the hose pipe there were leaks which obviously on a water meter would be a headache, my husband put an additional tap washer on top of the washer already provided , the Problem was solved immediately, its a pity that the company that make them couldn,t do such a simple thing, so if you get problems with leaks ,add an additional washer,no tape required ! I love cats infact I have an indoor cat myself ,but I can,t stand other peoples cat mess,so good riddance to them ! Btw, our kids love running past to get wet especially in lockdown ,so it could be used multi purpose, lol.

For years we had problems with visiting cats leaving unwanted “presents” on the lawn on a daily basis. I don’t dislike cats but was getting pretty fed up with having to clean up the foul mess they were leaving, and occasionally someone would accidentally step in it. Not nice. Why they found the garden a better toilet than a great big field the other side of the fence I have no idea. In an attempt to encourage them to take their daily constitutional elsewhere I first tried various PIR detectors which emit sounds cats are supposed to dislike. They either ignored these entirely or just went a few yards further away instead. I was sceptical this sprayer would fare any better, but after nearly 4 months I have to say it’s worked an absolute treat from day one. No more presents. Yes, it has some negative points: the plastic is quite flimsy. It gets confused by direct sunlight which can make it go off constantly and drain the batteries. It makes a rattly “ack ack” noise when spraying which could be irritating when it’s being triggered frequently by sunlight. But weighing those things up against not having to make regular cautious garden inspections with shovel in hand – great. I try to disconnect it from the hose during the daytime if sunshine is forecast to avoid unnecessary water sprays. So far the cats haven’t worked that out.

This item is great. With 6 cats in our cul-de-sac we have a constant problem with cats using our garden as a toilet. We had built up the ends of the decking with sleepers to create flower beds, filled them with soil and the first night a cat did it’s business twice in the new soil ! Following night, exactly the same happened again – a cat went to the toilet in the same flower bed ! Decided to give this device a go before we took the step to plant up all the flowerbeds. Worked the first night we used it ! Was easy to set up, good spray range, sensitivity can be adjusted (we found 5 the best otherwise it was going off quite a bit for nothing). The only thing is it’s quite noisy when it goes off. Not a problem now the temperature is dropping and peoples windows and doors are shut of a night but could be a problem with waking neighbours/yourself in the summer when you sleep with windows open. It also goes off every time WE go out in the garden so will have to put a flower pot over it while we’re in the garden to stop us getting soaked . Think we will only need to use this for a week or so to determine this same cat coming back every night, then we’ll store away until we have a problem again.

We had an issue with the neighbourhood cat’s using our garden as both a toilet and also as a bird hunting ground. NOT happy with this, so the installation of this unit has tended to resolve these issues. On the first day, at least 4 cats paid the price with a good soaking. They still come into the garden but unlike before they merely use it as a passageway, not stopping and certainly not venturing anywhere near the sprayer. Some things to bear in mind, cats learn where it’s safe to pass so a change of site is a good idea, keeps them guessing. Also, watch it yourself, it registers movement and if you happen to trigger it absentmindedly, you WILL get soaked, I speak from experience, so be aware. Finally, if you have an unsheltered garden with plenty of loose foliage this can also trigger the unit so where you can, try to aim it away from this movement as it can drain the batteries. All things taken into account though, very pleased with the unit especially with the lack of cleaning up chores, ’nuff said

Currently around 27. This product feels cheap, mostly plastic but to be fair its not that expensive. It leaks a little but so does my hozelock which is a premium garden brand.

I find the spray is a little to high and if you point the device down to lower then the sensor doesnt detect much.

However most importantly. It works great at scaring foxes away, skip everything else and get one of these.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWe had really bad Urban Fox problem, an entire pack living a couple of gardens away. They were fearless with one even managing to get into a neighbours house. We were all getting really fed up with the constant noise/digging/defecating in our gardens and loosing a great deal of sleep – safe to say we have tried everything (scent, prickle-strips, sonic repellers, wooden fencing, etc) but nothing seemed to deter them. We were told about motion detecting sprinklers and looked around but reading some of the comments on this product I was a bit sceptical. First thoughts are it was better quality than expected (not like a toy as others had suggested). As for the leaking, I put some PTFE tape on the joints (super cheap stuff) and haven’t had a drop – I don’t think this is even necessary I just did it because of the other reviews. The motion detection sensitivity can be set via a dial from 1-9 we set it to 4 (about 4 meters from the fence) and half a turn on the garden hose faucet (depending on pressure of your pipes you don’t need it on full whack as pressure builds up for the initial burst/scare) I think this may be the reason some are having issues with leaks/false alarms. I can confirm it only goes off when it detects a Fox (or a Cat which wasn’t the intention but ho-hey). Anyway, super happy so far as it scares the s**t out of the foxes and a week in looks like it’s keeping them away! Thanks have recommended to all the neighbours!

    HAD a fox problem...

I was tired of foxes tearing up my lawn and leaving their deposits everywhere (which was killing the grass). I looked through the various chemical scents and spray-on deterrents and came to the conclusion that they don’t work.

But this thing does! I’ve had it on for two nights now and both nights it has activated for a fox and scared it off. It’s very satisfying to hear the scrape of claws on the fence as the fox jumps into the garden, followed immediately by the click-click-click of the spray as it does its job! (note that, it’s not overly noisy, but my room is right over the lawn and I have the windows open at the moment, so it is audible, but it lasts a few seconds and is less noisy than having foxes screaming in your garden! Once they’ve been startled by it, they don’t return on the same night, so far, but they do tend to come back next night I’ve found).

As some reviewers have noted, it does leak, but I was ready for that. Just unscrew everything that can be unscrewed and wind some plumber’s tape around all the threaded plastic parts. Screw it all back together and plug in the hose, check for leaks and repeat until there are no leaks. Easy! Takes ten minutes and plumber’s tape costs very little.

generally works well but sometimes seems to go off when nothing is about (nearby tree branches moving or even slight breezes seem to set it off). You need to get the balance right when setting water pressure – set the tap too high and the spray works unnecessarily, too low and the spray is too weak.

Would like a stronger version as the unit is quite flimsy (plastic) and it is difficult to prevent some slight leakage of water when it is turned on.

    I also think there should be two red clips to set the spray width but mine only came with a single red clip (so I either have a very wide arc or a very narrow one fortunately the wider arc suits me);

Overall I think this is the best option for deterring unwelcome cats but time will tell.

Easy to set up. Instructions barely needed as intuitive. Works when I walk past it. It covers our lawn. We are replacing the lawn as our own cat has decided to use it regularly. Now we will see whose lawn it is!
I have yet to see how our cat reacts. A very short burst of water shoots out and spreads across the lawn. There is a clacking noise, which is not too loud. You would need to turn off the tap if you are pottering in the garden. I will watch closely when my husband puts out the bins on Monday. He has been warned but… (Tee Hee!…). Actually since I wrote this our cat was very shocked when approaching the lawn. He now scuttles along the path and over the fence. I now have no idea where he has gone, but my lawn looks much better without him scratching away. A new lawn arrives next week and I now feel confident that I can defend it from the cat. For the price, no complaints about the product. It worked perfectly straight away and I did use a bit of plumbers tape on the joints as recommended by another reviewer.

The spike is fine assuming you’re setup for it, the batteries again are easy to install and seem to last as they should, I have used rechargeable ones however they drained completely when it was first fitted, but it’s been working perfectly after they got recharged., that being said it would be nice if there was a mains and/or transformer option available to permanently connect to.

The range of the unit is perfect and the detection range works exactly as you’d expect for a PIR. Even in the zero position though you may still get unwanted operation so be sure to shut off the water supply if you don’t want it on (do a final discharge to make sure it’s clear otherwise you might get a not so pleasant surprise).

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI’ve tried:
An ultrasonic scarer – the squirrels avoid it, but not the cat!
Smelly granules (Get-off) – they work for a while, but get expensive.
Coffee grinds – free from many coffee shops, work for a while, until it rains.
Throwing stones / scaring the beast – this works, again but only for a few weeks and you have to be there!

Finally set this up the other day and wished I’d bought a motion activated night vision camera so I could watch the little git get soaked. I’ve been happily laughing to myself about him scrabbling back up the fence insane with fear, but I’ve not seen it yet and probably won’t as he either comes when I’m away, or when I’m in bed. They know…..

Nevermind, I’m happy. I should have got one of these in the first place!! He’s not been back since I set it up.

I’d avoided this product due to having to faff about with hosepipes and leaks. But I managed to set this up in about 45 minutes and it doesn’t leak at all.

There’s a few things you need to be prepared for:
    1) Buy some PTFE tape for the screw joint on the top, mine did leak until I added PTFE tape to the screw thread, this joint has no washer!
    2) The instructions are basic. They don’t really show you how to set the angle of dispersal or the range.
    3) There is no OFF switch other than turning the sensitivity down to 0/ZERO. So you have to remember what to set it to, to switch it back on (and be able to see the dial). A switch would have been nice.

Regarding point 2, there’s a dial on top you can twist to set the range from nearby to quite far. Mine covers about 3-4m. Not bragging or anything, but I’ve got good hose pressure :), it would probably reach about 7-8m.

Setting the angle of dispersal involves not ‘pulling red tabs’ like the instructions say, but separating 2 red clips from each other by turning one one way and one the other around the neck of the device to create a gap that’s as big as you want the head to move between. I’ve set it to about 45 degrees so it covers a 4m square patch of gravel that the cat used to feel at home on 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOur next door neighbours leave their cat outside all day in all weathers and they do not have a cat flap. Consequently, we were getting fed up with the cat in our garden, hiding under our shrubs and one day I saw her leaping up at my bird feeder with all four paws off the ground. I know it is in the cat’s nature but this cat had definitely scared the birds out of our garden.
Saw this online recently and thought we would try it as the previous sensor deterrent worked to a degree but was not keeping the cat out of the garden.
I can honestly say that we have had this device two weeks and next door’s cat comes nowhere near our garden. I have twice seen her on the fence scowling at me and I have heard the jet spray go off a few times so she must have had the shock of her life. I saw the cat this morning sitting on the neighbours shed roof so it looks like she has got the message.
When we first got the jet spray it was going off quite a lot, about 6 times a day but recently nothing and I have been out to check that it still works. It is not particularly loud but does deliver a fine jet of water around the garden. I think the spray acts as a deterrent as well as the noise of the spray which is not loud and also the spray just going off when sensing motion is very good, saying that if the weather is very windy, this can set the motion sensor off but it is very easy to use just remember to turn it off if going in the garden otherwise you will get wet. Thought it was very good for the price.

The spray has been very effective at keeping rabbits from eating new plants and crows from pecking at windows woodwork and putty around my windows.
The first I ordered worked brilliantly, the second the sensor did not work and I returned it and ordered a replacement which is working brilliantly. All arrived quickly. Battery life has been about 3 weeks and it has been cold. I am using 4 rechargeable AAs. The battery cover could be improved to unclip rather than 4 small screws, Set up is easy the spray is very adjustable and the chatter it makes as it goes off disturbs pests as much as the spray I think.

I bought this cat scarer as I was fed up with clearing up after other people’s cats using my garden as their litter tray. On the whole it works very well and has stopped the fouling when nothing else did, but I would advise not leaving it out in frosty weather as I forgot to bring it in and I’ve found the freezing water has split the feed pipe and caused a few leaks in the joints which have to be constantly repaired. I would recommend this item to anyone who has a problem with cats fouling their garden.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis works a treat for keeping unwanted visitors out the garden… even watched the neighbours moggie have to walk all the way round on top of the fence, to avoid my garden. It is quite sensitive, even on the lower settings. It also works in the dark.
The downside is that the water from the hose constantly drips through the unit, so I’m concerned about water wastage – my property is on a water meter.
I find I only need the hose tap on minimal to produce a good burst of water. I don’t tend to have the tap turned on constantly, especially on rainy days as the pesky cats aren’t usually around, but I found leaving the unit in situ as a visual deterrent also works.
Wish I could put it in the front garden to stop them on the driveway, but I don’t think the postie would like it, and I need my Christmas parcels delivered!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOrdered and delivered same day – perfect. Initially, after several attempts, I couldn’t make this work & thought I would be sending it back, but when I slackened one of the screws to the battery compartment to remove the batteries, it started to work (I could here the valve opening and closing). When I tightened it again, it stopped. I guess tightening the screws distorted something enough to stop one of the batteries making contact. Assembly is straight forward except for the bit about green tabs, they’re orange on mine, but I worked it out. The ranges stated for PIR and jet are reasonably accurate. The spike is a bit flimsy so I put a small stake behind mine (making sure not to obstruct the mechanism) and secured it with cable ties. It’s now rigid.
Foxes have been coming into the garden for a few months now. We have security cameras so were able to see what they did.
I bought this because I’d top dressed and seeded the lawn. I have been using this for a week and the foxes are coming less and less, they don’t stay very long and don’t dig anymore. I will be buying another one so that the whole garden is covered. I have also made access to the garden for the foxes more difficult. Also keeps birds off the seed.
Bonus – very funny if my wife forgets it’s ‘armed’.

I have been searching all over the internet for ways to keep my mother in law’s Peacocks out of my garden (we live on a smallholding and I can keep every other animal out except those horrible, flower head eating, loud monsters!) Anyway, I came across this and thought I might as well have a go, and it works like a charm! For the first year ever, I get to actually look at my flowers for more than a day before they’re eaten. (And the kids have had fun ‘testing’ it, pretending to be peacocks )

    Good bits:
    *Pretty powerful blaster
*Sensor has a good range to cover a large garden
*Can change the range of the sensor and the sprayer
*Easy to set up and use
    *It works!!!!!

    Bad bits:
*A bit flimsy so the power of the jet flings the whole thing backwards which raises the height of the jet (and I wanted it fairly low) and I imagine after a while would break it. I combated this by hammering in a metal stake behind the plastic pipe/stand and tying it to it for support.
*It uses batteries fairly quickly – 10 days (although considering I put cheap 10 for 1 batteries in it, and the kids were playing with it almost every day for 10 mins or so non stop, it didn’t do too bad!) I would recommend high power rechargeable batteries to save money and waste in the long run.
*It’s quite sensitive (now this is in the ‘good bits’ as well) but if like me you have lots of blowey in the wind type plants (bamboo and other low to the ground trees etc) then it can get set off by them rather than the beast you’re trying to deter. I just had to be careful where I positioned it and reduced the sensor range so it didn’t quite reach the waving plants.

Overall, it’s been a good purchase and I’m now considering buying another for the other end of my garde

Only had a week, and so far so good. It is a little flimsy — but for 20 that’s to be expected.
Just needs careful handling. Works a treat — motion triggers a jet of water which hoses about for a couple of seconds, in the direction its pointed — there are some controls but did nt seem to make a massive difference, water flow from the garden tap probably a better way of controlling distance.
We are trying to stop cats, and although it can’t cover the full length of the garden it cover the width. Which should be enough to prevent cats using the garden as a shortcut. It’s pretty easy to reposition so long as your hose reaches. I am guessing it’s not a permeant fixture, just sufficient to change the cats behaviour. There has been no fouling since its been in place. Needs to be turned off when you are using the garden — but we just pop a large bucket over it which stops it triggering..
In the past we have tried ultrasonic scarer -cats soon get used to them, various noxious substances — just kill the grass and the rain washes away..
This certainly seems a cut above — can’t imagine any cat wanting to get hosed if they can avoid it.

Golden Review Award: 436 From Our UsersThe garden fouler arrived – carefully walking through the bushes to leave her calling card on my lawn. With the arrogant confidence of a zen master she eyed her spot. Watching from the kitchen window in the darkness, throat dry, and full of anticipation I waited for what I hoped would be a beautiful moment. The cat slowly and cautiously crept toward the lawn, stopped to take one more look, yes all was well…. then BAM what the #$% was that! Got you! Oh the joy! The fouler leapt with shock and ran for his life never to foul my garden again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDoes the job intended perfectly once you figure out how to set it up properly.
The instructions are poor along with the plastic ground spike provided. It needs to be secured to a more substantial post or spike to stop it wobbling about.
I initially had a problem with the unit going off constantly for no apparent reason.
At first I thought it must be the motion sensor setting but after numerous adjustments it was still happening.
I eventually discovered that my problem was the water pressure.
I had the garden tap fully open but once I had turned it down to just before the off position, thus reducing the pressure, it has operated perfectly ever since.

Golden Review Award: 42 From Our UsersI have a nightly visiting fox that smells funky and cats are starting to use the garden as a meeting spot. This is the first measure that I’ve put in place today, as starting to grow some veggies.
This product is majority plastic with a few metal springs, mostly the plastic is solid but bits like the spike that go in the ground are a little flexible. I don’t see it as a major issue as I don’t plan on spearing the fox with it, it may not survive a child kicking it across the garden but should be okay if a particularly angry cat takes a swipe or 10.
The instructions are not exactly comprehensive but a bit of thought means you can work it out. It requires 4 AA batteries that fit fine underneath and there is a rubber section to stop water ingress through the seam but poorly fitted screws are an annoyance if not major issue.

You are getting damp when you set this up, you’ll be careful but wetter after you are done, accept this now.
There are red clips to specify sweep of water, a knob on top to adjust water distance (turn right down to start and nudge up) and a knob for distance before it is triggered and to turn off, make range finder look too far an it’ll be a hair trigger.

In operation it makes a soothing (to me) stushhh-tik-tik-tik sound like sprinklers on American TV/films, for 5 seconds when activated, which I imagine would startle cats, I am also hitting the fence for more sound. I wonder if others nearby have this as cats came to sit on fence to look but none venture into the garden at first.
Will be interesting to see fox reaction as it seems slightly retarded but quite athletic, leaping across fences.

Edit: after about a week I’ve upped to 5 stars (from 4). It has worked wonders for me cats sat on the shed looking daggers at the thing, none coming into the garden now. I’ve CCTV of a very miffed, damp looking fox, unsure where to walk and deciding to bolt and jump the fence never to return.
I did move it to continue the shock and awe, I also considered another one for a ‘kill zone’ type setup but the war is won. I did use in conjunction with plastic fence spikes to also help.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersHaving cats use my garden as a toilet, despite trying various electronic methods, I decided to give this a try. Installation was easy and I connected the unit to the mains. Being a thoughtful grandfather I used my youngest grandson to test this out and to fine tune it, it worked a treat and he managed to dodge the majority of the water so I was not in trouble with my daughter.
It seems like the local cats were aware of what this unit is. I normally see them coming through the bottom of the garden and along the fences. After installing this unit I did not see a cat for a few days. I was keen to see what the cats response would be and one morning I witnessed it. Cat comes into the bottom of the garden, sits down and looks at the unit, which is situated down the other end. Looks interested so it decides to stroll down and investigate – big mistake! The noise and water spraying saw him do the 100 metres in record time. Job done.

I would highly recommend this to anyone, it’s great value for money .

*****Edit***** I am having to return my unit as it has malfunctioned – it continuously blasts water. I have ordered another one as when it worked correctly it was doing a great job. Hopefully it’s just a case of a dodgy unit.*******

It is quite flimsy, leaks a bit and the plastic spike is not fit for the job. However, I bought a Darlac metal spike (about 6) to replace the plastic one which makes it much more robust and used ptfe tape to try and prevent the leaks, with partial success. I do wish there was a more robust one available, but this works brilliantly and I guess if I have to replace it every year or so, for 20 and a few quid on the water bill, it’s a price worth paying. It does keep the cats away, though I have to remember to turn it off when my own cat, who is seemingly unique in our area by using a litter tray, wants to go out!

Easy to install (provided you don’t have leaky hose connectors like mine) and if you turn up the hose/water pressure
then it jets easily 30 feet quite powerfully for about 4 seconds, sweeping back and forth in a variable arc in an angle depending
on where you set the little red toggles (they’re not green as in the instructions). Seems a well designed product, and the local cat’s nightly poop visits to our lawn ceased five days ago since I installed it. Hopefully will permanently deter the blighter, as long as I can put up with the dripping hose connectors (mine, not the products). Good value. Had already tried lions’s dropping, pepper spray, electronic high pitch emitters etc, all to no avail. THIS ONE WORKS.

I initially purchased this to stop neighbours cats from fouling all over my lawn. I had also hoped it would stop the squirrels digging holes in the lawn which was making it look like a mini golf course. To my joy it’s been a total success so far at stopping the cats doing their dirty work. It’s been in use for two months (still with the original batteries) and since then not one single mess to clear up. No such joy with the squirrels though. Half the time they don’t trigger the sensor, probably because they’re small and they’ve probably learned that if they move slowly they can evade it. Even when they do activate the spray it doesn’t seam to bother them that much so not much luck there. A bit to clever these squirrels but at least they’re not using the lawn as a toilet! The unit itself is very temperamental though. During the morning, early afternoon and evenings when there is no sunlight on the garden no problem, but mid to late afternoon in direct sunlight it starts spraying whenever it feels like it even if there is nothing moving so I have to turn the sensor off on sunny afternoons. Strong winds can also have the same effect. Reducing the sensitivity of the sensor has no effect. Some other reviewers have reported the same problem so no point in sending it back for a replacement. Will have to take the unit indoors in very cold weather to prevent frost damage so I’m hoping the mess does not return. Even though it hasn’t worked with the squirrels and the sensor is temperamental it’s still 4 stars for the fact that it has stopped the cat problem.
One last thing. The unit is top heavy so not very stable when just pushed into the ground. To solve this I’ve knocked a wooden stake into the ground alongside it then secured it with tape to hold it firm.

Since new neighbours moved in next door, I’ve had trouble with their cat using my garden as its toilet. Tried the sonic scorers, chicken mesh on the borders, pepper spray, and other repellents. Nothing worked for any prolonged time. This unit however did the trick! 24/7 passive monitoring with instant activation on detection and positive repellent . See those cats move! Certainly don’t like the water spray. Negatives are, the water jet range, when turned down for the smaller garden, turns into a spray, when turned up its too high and goes over the hedge. Ground peg flimsy leading to instability after a few activations. However, with a little enginuity both can be overcome, and for the money well worth the investment. Now just need to get another for the front garden, to save swapping it around.

Like many of the other reviewers here our garden appeared to be the preferred latrine for the neighbourhood cat population. We’ve been through a couple of different noise deterrent devices and, to be fair, they did get rid of most of the cats. Except one. This cat doesn’t know it but he/she effectively declared war when leaving a particularly unpleasant “present” right outside the door. Game on kitty! We’ve had this sprayer for a couple of weeks and, after hearing it go off late that first evening, no sign of further gifts! It isn’t very loud when it triggers, but I had the window open and was listening for it.
Having read the other reviews I was a bit concerned about leaking when I put it together so I used a bit of PTFE tape on the joints to make sure – except for one thread that I neglected in my excitement to set it up, but that hasn’t leaked at all. And I use our existing garden hoselock attachment with no leaking issues so far. It’s a bit fiddly to set the side-to-side range of the spray initially but once you get it it’s quite simple. Ours has the sensitivity dial set to 4/5, when it was first set up on 9 it practically went off every time you breathed near it.
    Happy hunting!

I’d read a few reviews that were a little critical of the build quality of these units compared to the Comtech Scarecrow so I Bought one to test on the back garden. It is great and deters 100% of the local cats. I immediately ordered another for the beds in the front garden where we suffer the most problems with cat fouling and they are fantastic. No more cat mess.
The Comtech units may be better built, I can’t comment having never owned one, but at 20, these are a bargain and seem solid enough to me. Within an hour of installing we’d given two of the local cats the fright of their lives and I’ve not seen them back since.
Several months later and both units are still working well. One even survived being frozen without any damage once thawed out.
The cats seem to learn that they get a soaking so don’t return for a long time. Have had to take them in now to avoid damage by freezing but so far the cats have stayed away. Battery life is excellent and the cats don’t come back and it only takes one soaking to teach them to stay away.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHaving tried everything to get rid of the foxes down the back of my garden I was at a complete loss as what to try next! Every morning a new hole would appear in my lawn and it would be covered in random bits of rubbish. I tried Scoot (didn’t work), filling in the holes under the back fence that they’d dug (didn’t work, they just dug another hole!). Then I read about the ScareCrow online but couldn’t afford it. I knew Amazon would have a cheaper alternative and this is what I found. Yes I agree that it is a little ‘flimsy’ as some of the other reviews mentioned, but what do you expect for 20! The set up instructions weren’t great but with a bit of common sense it’s easy enough to work out. The most important thing is that it works! It doesn’t appear to be too sensitive and when it does go off it’s loud enough and powerful enough to scare away the foxes and no doubt squirrels and cats too! I pointed it in the direction of their point of entry into the garden and it does spray quiet a distance and moves side to side. Would definitely recommend this product.

We have a small patio garden partially covered in gravel. The gravel is perfect for the local cats to use as a loo. The jet spray was easy to set up using a splitter on the outside tap. This means it can be always be ready to go, as can the garden hose. No sign of cat disturbance to the gravel since installation and although we normally don’t see the covered area from inside, we know it works, having been caught out ourselves a couple of times. The arc and range of the jet spray is ideal and it’s pretty sensitive too. The only complaint would be the spike length. For a lawn it would be fine, but we have to use a plant pot with bricks around the base of the sprayer, because it’s rather top heavy. Other than that it’s great and would have gained five stars.

This really does work well and is very good value for money. Picking up on other comments about leaks and set up – you just need to take care and set it up properly. Don’t just throw your hands up in the air if it doesn’t work as you want straight away. All these devices take a bit of tinkering to get them set up correctly.
Having said that, the spike is very flimsy and when the spray goes off the whole thing flails all over the place – so adding a reinforcing stake is a good plan. Also sensitivity can be a bit variable and does take some fine tuning to get right. It often goes off when windy as it triggers on the movement of leaves. Good batteries are vital to ensure consistent performance. I use rechargeables.
One useful plus over the more expensive option (at least the one I have) – the head can be rotated without having to pull it out of the ground – useful if you just want to quickly point it away from where you are working without having to turn it off.
Bring it indoors over winter to avoid frost destroying it and use as a chance to clean. Do that and no reason why it shouldn’t last well.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is great value for money, and it’s finally seen off the cats from the front lawn. It is a bit ‘lightweight’ but it does the job, and it’s not something I’ll be leaving out all the time, anyway. It does tend to leak a bit, and spray is a bit wide-spread.

I’ve seen a cat walk towards the side of it, see it, remember what must have happened before and done an about turn!

Update, about 4 months on: I initially had this in use for a month, and it worked wonders. Within a week, the ‘deposits’ had ceased. I found that after that training period, you don’t need the water! Just the sight of the sprayer is sufficent. It got taken up about a week ago now, and I forgot to replace it. Within 2 days the caller(s) had returned, so the device is back, with water, for another training spell.

Water leaks: it does dribble a bit, but it’s outside, so what does it matter? Mine was leaking from the top, rather than the hose fitting. I had no problems with the hose.

Battery life seems excellent, weeks and weeks.

A few minor irritations: firstly setting it up is a faff, it seems to take a lot of adjustment to get the water going in just the right place. It sways about when if ‘fires’ so you have to take that into account when aiming it. It does seem to be triggered by sunlight, in certain situtions. On windy days, swaying trees and bushes can also trigger it, so you have to turn the sensitivity down. You need good water pressure and flow to make the oscillating movement work right.

But despite those niggles, I love it, and it was money well spent. I would heartily recommend it. The best ‘cat solution’ I have found.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Don’t leave it outdoors, with water on, when it’s freezing. Mine froze up, and split open the bottom bit, where the hose attaches. This was after I had turned the water off, and triggered it to release the the water pressure. If you must leave it outdoors, when freezing, turn off the water and undo the cap on the other side to the hose, to drain it.

Tip arising from this: if you break the base spike, buy something like this:
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/iHome-iLife-Automatic-Irrigation-Sprinkler/dp/B01G8FO8ZS/ref=sr_1_9?s=outdoors&ie=UTF8&qid=1480865965&sr=1-9&keywords=lawn+sprayer
as the base is the same, and it’s cheaper than another repeller. If you shop about, you can get a similar sprinkler cheaper than the example above.

Well after trying several ultra sonic devices with no success I purchased this item after reading all the positive reviews. I set it up using good quality connectors and it did not leak, which was fairly simple although setting angle and arc is a bit hit and miss . However if you persevere u can achieve very good results and for the price of 17.50 u can not complain. It certainly blasts the nuisance cats right out of my garden cats hate this equipment. The noise alone frightens them. They leap about 5 foot in the air, must video it. It needs to staked and tied as plastic stake it comes with is to short and mains pressure is high here. The range is impressive noise level is OK once you are inside u do not hear it. U need to watch out for false activation by plants blowing in wind . I did not use extension pipe so it’s low in ground. Overall it is a great piece of kit. Sennsitivity from pir is good. May try hard wiring in a larger capacity battery as not sure how long battery will last. Requires constant mains pressure water or will not work.

My neighbours have a small company of cats – maybe 20 in total, plus leave food out for the badger and the fox. Up until now this menagerie have made extensive use of my lawn as the place to do their business, but not anymore.

This thing isn’t so much a sprinkler, more a water machine gun. If you are downrange when this goes off you will certainly know about it. When triggered it fires out jets of water over its arc for a good few seconds, certainly enough to startle any animal unlucky enough to find itself its crosshairs. Arcs of fire and range (the best descriptor really) are set by the plastic tabs and the wheel on the top.

This is the first device I have had that works; orange peel, scent sprays, ultrasonic machines have all been tried with no success. Yes it is a little plasticy and yes the range selection is a little crude, but I have had a poo free lawn for a week now. And for 20 delivered whats not to like?

No complaints from the neighbours yet, but of course, its never their darling kitty befouling my lawn, always someone else’s cat, so what have they got to complain about…

I have brought two of these to cover my once “Cat poo” covered garden. I could only attach one to my water supply until my multi outlet water manifold arrived and it was during this time I discovered that I need only have ordered one because they are so effective. I now have one facing up the garden and one down the garden from the centre and can scare off all sorts of creatures (including the neighbours) as soon as they enter my property….
Seriously, if you have a problem with unwelcome deposits these will do the job. Even on the lowest settings, movement can be detected from 30 metres, I have not had to turn the sensors up at all and the water can squirt as far as 5 metres on the lowest setting and as far as your water pressure allows on the highest setting. The only disadvantage I have noticed is the sensors are sensitive enough to pick up even a pigeon if it flies close enough so you may find your bird table is vacant for a while….
I now have a deposit free garden and they were switched off for 2 weeks. I have now reconnected them as a precaution to reinforce any local pooper that he/she is no longer welcome. The cat owning neighbours are not happy however because their own cats now poop in their garden…Result.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLike most other reviewers, I was utterly fed up having to clear cat poo off my newly laid back lawn.. every day I had the task of scraping up anything from 4 to 8 pops off the lawn… We had the garden removed of all its trees and thorn bushes, we have a 2year old daughter who was now able to run around…so had it fully replaced with lovely lush turf….
Within a matter of weeks our nice software lawn had attracted every cat in the neighbourhood… Resulting in our daughter not being free to run and play on her garden until Dad had been out and removed all those filthy piles of disease ridden slips…all of which are a real health threat to an inquisitive2year old!!..
I’d already spent ‘s on everything I’d seen on shop shelves to no avail….I even know someone who is a salesman for a national chemical company which supplies a liquid deterrent that is sold to a lot of councils throughout GB and is used in parks and garden areas to deter fouling by dogs/cats/foxes etc…. On his advice..I was instructed to not bother diluting it but use it neat…”that’ll really see em’ off for half a mile” was his quote.
FAIL!!!… Next morning I was out there again with my shovel and scraper!!!
So I finally gave in to spending on something other than chemical/powders/gels/sprays… etc.
I wasn’t convinced by the reviews of “ULTRASONIC” devices… Plus my neighbours have ferrets, dog, rabbits….and I didn’t think it right that they may suffer annoyance as a result of my cat poo minefield problems….
So I thought I’d give the water jet gizmo a shot!…. It was even more tempting as it was reduced from 30 upwards.. to 20 WITH FREE delivery….
    Result…!!!!! BRILLIANT!!!!!
A Little fiddly setting up the distance and arc….but once you get the idea it’s really quite simple!… And apart from it being a bit too plasticy and fragile in places …I would have gave 5 stars no problem… But to be honest if it were more solidly made then production costs would obviously be higher and it wouldn’t be on sale for 20…..????
    But this thing WORKS!!!!!
    Cats hate it…..!!!!!
    I Love it!!!!!
And my daughter has her nice clean garden back…… And she even loves running past it herself and getting a good soaking in this sunny weather….
So fingers crossed….if it holds up to wear and tear…..this has solved my problems ….
So now….. Someone else is waking up to a garden full of sh!t….Lol!!!

Golden Review Award: 74 From Our UsersI already have the expensive version of this spray to deter foxes who seem to love leaving their mess in the garden nightly but the oscillating lever that sits in the jet of water and operates its movement got broken, not the direct fault of the manufacturer but I couldn’t find anywhere to but a spare so I thought I’d try this cheaper version rather than forking out for another expensive one. This one is more flimsy than the expensive one but works in the same way and is just as effective. You do have to be a bit careful about how you push it into the ground and I added a small wooden stake alongside with a tie to stiffen the plastic extension supplied. If you don’t need to use the extension then the supplied plastic spike will probably be OK. You need to use trial and error to adjust for the best spray area and height, but that applies to both versions although the expensive one probably allows a bit more precision. On mine the “0” setting turns the device off without any problem and I haven’t had any problems with the sensitivity settings. Both versions will give you a soaking if you forget they are there and walk into their range! The instructions leave a bit to be desired but you can see how it works. Any confusion is probably about the red plastic clips that limit the horizontal arc of spray. There are two but, as delivered, it looks like only one. Once separated the metal trigger fits between the outer edges of the two clips, not within the open sides, and you simply rotate the clips to vary the ark. These are effective devices but, to be honest, the higher price is exorbitant for what is effectively a few plastic mouldings and a fairly simple electronic circuit board. This one is better value if you are careful. Time will tell if it keeps going.

Finding it hard to set up but will take time to properly position it, but as a slight modification they could add a little switch were you could switch it off and switch it back on when you need too, but it is very effective in scaring the cats away, more effective in ultrasonics at first it worked but they seemed to get used to the sound whether the cats must be deaf and hard of hearing….. Maybe you could suggest to Pestbye or primrose company to think down this way if they could manufacture an kit were the Pestbye Jet Spray Repeller Motion Activated could have a little switch installed so you could turn it off for sometimes it goes off on its own and you end up turning the water off or change the sensitivity to stop it from working! 🙂
