Easy to fit very pleased with the purchase will definitely be adding more in this range
I have many Wi-Fi bulbs which worked ok, But found They don’t work now and cant connect to the apps.so after a wasted day trying all my bulbs I gave up! I saw these and thought oh well nothing ventured nothing gained so brought just the one(encase they were like my others ie don’t work) Well to my surprise it only worked but within seconds of putting the bulb in…So none of the pesky turn off turn on for an hour, this bulb is straight in, open app, two secs your done. From this I have ordered another two.. Hope this helps you guys…
I put 2 of these in bedside lamps and linked to Alexa without any issues. On off and dimming all working as they should
Docked a star because after power loss, the bulbs automatically come on which is ridiculous. Particularly if power drops during the night and all your lights come on!!!!!! Otherwise, all good.
It works as expected. It is one of the brighter smart bulbs I have bought. Easily connects to the Hue Bridge and works seamlessly with Google Home.
Easy to install, and they work with Alexa. Not too much brightness from this one. Other than that, grea
Love these products. Super easy to use a does the job.
I bought some other bulbs at the same time, of the same make.
They just seem to work, setting them up is easy and they just seem to work.

It’s a great bulb and sets up really easily with the Hue Bridge and Alexa.
Please bear in mind though, you cannot choose what colour the white is with this… ie warm white or cool white. For that you need an ambiance bulb.
You can dim it though which is good!
Super easy to install. I have 9 of these and this was the Best Buy. Grab a bargain.
It works with Alexa but I got it as a free gift with the echo I doubt I would pay 40 something pounds for it though
Came as a bundle with the new Echo. Love that works from echo hub without having to have a dedicated hue hub. No problem getting Alexa to switch it on/off/dim.
Great, you can operate it via Alexa , dim or brighten it by voice command if you want, set the brightness to your desired level.
These are the cheapest Hue bulbs – just warm while (not quite 2700k more like 2900) and standard 800lm (so say 60W incandescent). They used to look different – but now all the bulbs have the same design (warm/ambiance/colour). So don’t buy these thinking they are Ambiance or Colour.
These still have BT (BlueTooth) but to be honest please invest in a Hue hub – best get a starter kit. Thankfully now after link-up BT is finally turned off in the latest firmware. Yay!
As these are the cheapest, these are the best in places where you don’t want to use expensive bulbs – say outside lights, utility/garage rooms and hallways. But for normal living rooms I’d say get Ambiance. For bathrooms since there are no Cold White bulbs perhaps again get ambiance.

I have tried out several smart bulbs which no look, it was always the Philips bulbs which worked immediately and without any issue. I rather spend some money more and get these than those 3rd party ones which are hard to connec
Very easy to link to Alex’s and works perfectly. Had it in and working for 6 months now no issues.
We have 2 and they are in our lounge lamps. Ideal
Once installed in a lamp will automatically reconnect if you turn the lamp power off by mistake.
Added 3 stage dimming by voice command to a lamp that didn’t have the feature
Have 2 in my living room lamps, it makes life so much easier being able to voice control them from Amazon Echo, have one in another room that only ever gets used as a normal bulb as voice control no advantage in there.
Not the gimmick I thought they were, actually a really useful addition.
I got this Smart bulb for my living room and it seems to work well without any issues. I would buy a colour one but not for almost 50.
Installed the bulb, sat on the sofa and as as soon as I opened the Alexa app already had a message that new bulb was identified. Within seconds Alexa took full control, very impressed and pleased with purchase.
Got ours free with the 4th Gen Echo.
All round top product.
Philips hue is a great product. Bright and easy to control. Allows you to change brightness and intensity. The app is very intuitive and easy to use.
Amazing! Set up took a few videos and instructions and confusion but once set up this light is brilliant! Connected up to my Google Nest mini. Very bright and is built so it gives full light to all areas of the room! I bought a refurbished one and came in excellent condition almost brand new!
Great to be able to use this with the Alexa
Bought it for my sons room to go with his Alexander. He’s happy and that makes.me happy
Bough as a gift to go with the Alexa I bought for my sisters and she was so happy! Very useful as well when she feels too lazy to switch the light off before bed! Works great with the Alexa, very happy.
Relatively easy to install, handy device for both general lighting use and as an addition to home security
Will not dim lower than 20% but otherwise is excellent! First one stopped responding to Alexa after 3 weeks. Replacement seems to be working perfectly!
Exactly as described, just added to my collection used with Alexa plus app on phone.
There are plenty of ‘smart lamp’ options around some of which work with the Philips Hue system and some that are more generic and I have a few. However, for ease of use, integration and reliability, no-one comes close to Philips Hue.
First off, this is a very well made bit of kit. It feels quality and it is quality – which, it should be given that it’s not the cheapest item out there.
Secondly, it just works. Out of the box, screw in and then add it to your Hue gateway hub. Takes seconds and is utterly reliable.
Now, the one thing that I didn’t notice at first is that you can use this without a hub and simply connect via Bluetooth from your phone. For me that’s not an issue as I already have the hub (well three to be honest) and use the full range of options. However, if you just want a couple of lamps to be operable from your phone then this works well.
The light quality is excellent and of course can be adjusted to suit easily either in real time or set up for a particular routine.
As for looks? Well, this is perhaps the downside of the Philips lamps. Mostly they don’t have the kind of ‘designer’ look that is suitable for bare bulb implementation. Nope, these lamps need to be in a shade for sure.
Overall, there is no better smart lighting system on the market.

It was easy to install and set up unlike other so called smart bulbs.
Works as should, I see no problem with this produc
They work as expected. Solid, easy to install and integrate with smart home.
It’s an A+ energy light bulb and it works. Would be nice if one were able to get white light, 6k, instead of warm light which tends to be a little too yellow for my taste but I can’t seem to track any down of the smart light variety. Is it easy to link? Yes, especially if you tick the little option box to link with your account, or does that not matter? Anyway it worked out of the box and it then took me way longer to figure out how to set it to come on at a specific time with the Alexa app! Very confusing, well for me anyway. Once I’d watched a very helpful Youtube video by some chap on how to do it I was up and running. I do like the ability to dim the light and not have to have a dedicated light switch to do so and I am enjoying the novelty of saying ‘Alexa, good night’ and the lights turning off. Little things please little minds and all that. Just remember that to make them work you need to have either a forth generation Echo a hub thing or a smart plug, which of course is the cheapest option. 25/01/2021 – Had to return this as the bluetooth side of it decided not to work anymore! The bulb itself continued to work but only if you got up and turned it on/off. Amazon replaced it so lets hope this one works way longer.

Bought an Echo 4th gen, with one of these bulbs included.
So easy to connect to Alexa with the inbuilt smart hub, that I bought another.
Very well made, good quality.
I really like this product I own same product from the previous order and it is already 3 year that works properly connect with my Alexa device.
Very comfortable to manage with Alexa and easy to setup.
Brilliant !! what a great invention!! so easy to intergrate with Alexa using the bluetooth.
I am disabled and yes i have a normal ceiling light in my living room but i dont like that on whilst watching tv…..so i have a corner lamp that i use but its fiddly to turn on and off!! NOT any longer its not !! thanks to Alexa !! love it , thank you so much Amazon !
I use this product to operate an up lighter in my lounge
Plugged it in, found it in my apps, connected to Alexa and was up and running in a couple of minutes.
You can’t control the colour as it’s a white only bulb.
You can’t control the warmth of the bulb using Alexa or the Alexa app but you can with other apps.
The light is bright! Really good.
It arrived with Alexa, using it easy and it has 10 different brightness setting which you can ask Alexa to adjust very easily. Only downside is that is only warm white. I would prefer cool bright white.
Easy to set up with seamless integration with your Alexa.
A nice soft glow with full dimmer functions using the smart hub.
Will be looking to add more smart bulbs to brighten up our lives.
My old porch light got broken so I bought a new one. The bulb in the old one turned itself on and off at sunset and sunrise. Unfortunately, its idea of these times was wholly dependent on ambient light outside. Also it used about 36 watts.
Having bought several coloured Hue lights before, I thought I would get a white only for the porch. This fits the bill perfectly and I can now program it to switch on at sunset and off at sunrise far more accurately than the old bulb. It is nominally rated at 9 watts but I have turned it down to about 50% as it is still bright enough at that level. I guess that means it’s now only using about 4.5 watts which is next to nothing.
I can also control it via Alexa. It also has bluetooth which means it will operate without a Philips Hub. However, as all my other lights are on the hub, so is this. I can’t comment on the bluetooth aspects, therefore.

After the initial setup, I have not had any problems since I bought it.
Very pleased with this purchase and impressed by the bulbs quality. Have purchase several since the initial buy and am using a number in my home at prese
The Philips smart light bulb is a must for any house. No need to get up from your sofa to turn the lights on or off. Just open the app or use amazon Echo. A must-have.
I would like to have cool white, but this one is too warm(yellowish) to my like… 🙁 other than that, it’s fun to control with Alexa.
Philips Hue Smart Bulb worked great…for 1 day, then wouldn’t reconnect to Alexa for love nor money. As yet, I haven’t got the bulb connected to Alexa but it does work perfectly fine independently
Expensive light bulb, but great to use on phone, Bluetooth control, I can turn on the bedroom lamp on way upstairs so we don’t have to put hall light on and wake the kids.
Easy to turn off when ready to sleep.
Love the wake up or sleep routine.
I love it.
Works well with Alexa. Solves a longterm problem. Very useful
It’s Philips Hue, what more can I say!!
They are the best.
Brought light to my life – literally. So easy to use and set up and dimmable – easy to set up with Alexa cannot complain.
Awsome bulb, it was a bit tricky getting the bulb to connect to Alexa and yes you don’t need the Philips hub to connect to Alexa. Light brightness is good and different options.
Great control, would be nice if it could go a littler dimmer at the lowest setting.
Perfect. Added to my collection so not much else to say. Just works and integrates perfectly with HomeKi
If you have multiple lamps, these save a lot of switching.
Works easily with Alexa bright enough and dimmable when needed.
Easy to set up and decent quality from a well known brand. A lot easier to setup than some of the cheaper ones I’ve bough
Simple and easy. Works really well with the Alexa app
Great bit of kit. Easy to setup both in app and on Alexa. Can’t wait to do the rest of the house!
