I’ve only had the screen for a few days &, so far, it has been a great second screen when I’m working at home. Set-up was simple & it comes with 3 different cables to connect to different devices. It seems good value for money compared to other screens.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersScreen is like advertised, photo is next to Samsung tab S8 plus which is OLED, so not as good but still looks good.

Used with my tab as above and with my Motorola edge 30 ultra, does not need an extra energy supply but helps if you do. I use an external battery, this has been great and charges the phone when In use! Good for Dex and Ready For

Can use with switch but needs to have an AC power source, so not able to use with my battery.

Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an affordable portable monitor!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for number of devices

Not ideal for gaming as restricted to 60hz saying that the picture quality is outstanding the ips panel has a vibrant and clear and crisp picture with colours looking awesome. Love the fact it works with just one cable via USB C as long as the source can power the screen. The cables that coem let it down a bit one being too short and quality feels like happy shopper version of cables. So i bought a longer and better quality usb c cable and now its just a great investment as you can never have too many screens. Back to gaming it does game ok but high refresh rate games will look ok but you may find it will start to blur on motion.

Good Monitor but needs a power source , I bought a power bank for 11 to power the monitor works flawlessly now . Mine did not come with the Power adapter so had to source my own.
Used with my Raspberry pi . Tried on PS4 no powerbwnk needed. Series X needs powerbwnk.
    Good purchase for 100 , 1080p .

I regularly work away from home and hate having to use just the laptop itself. I can’t believe I didn’t know these existed – I was about to take a small TV on a two-week trip so I could have a second screen. For the money, this really makes working away easy. I find the connections easy with the included cables (although I did need to buy an adaptor for my iphone and be aware so far, I haven’t been able to work out how to show Netflix or similar on the monitor from an iphone as it seems to cut the connection). The stand works fine once I realised how to set it up. I stays perfectly well in one position, so if you need a range of positions, you may need a separate stand. All in all, I’d say its my tech purchase of the year.

Have multiple monitors at home and need an additional screen when working at sites. This is a well priced unit that fits the bill. Screen quality is good and comes with all the cables you need depending on your connectivity on your device. Knocked off one star as it doesn’t remember the brightness setting each time.

    Overall, would recommend.

Having got used with working with two monitors I struggled when working with my laptop. This monitor is great as I can now have two monitors wherever I go. It takes power from the laptop so can connect with a single cable. It’s a great size and has good definition. Would definitely recommend.

Really happy with the Arzopa portbale monitor.

I wanted to have 2 screens without taking up too much space on my desk. This was a great solution.

The screen is nice and clear and the included stand works really well.

It was a nice surprise for it to include the necessary cables (usb-c/usb-c, hdmi/hdmi mini and usb/usb-c)

Not sure what I was expecting for 99 but very impressed. Only just connected it up to my old 2014 MacBook Pro with the HDMi supplied with the monitor and I am up and running in 2 mins. Not just a mirror of the main screen, enables dragging of a second window over the monitor so you can view and work on two screens. No idea of durability but all good so far and build and screen clarity very good.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBeen looking for a while now for a portable screen and bought this with a 10 discount. Overall good quality screen, can take it anywhere with me. The screen cover provided is good however the magnetic flap isn’t as strong.

Only issue i’ve had is changing the brightness, i’ve tried changing it with both while connected directly to laptop or via the mains plug, just cannot seem to change the brightness. If anyone knows how to please let me know!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI went for this as it was affordable and came with good reviews.

I was really surprised and impressed with the quality when I started using it.

I use it both at work and home to extend my laptop. I use it via the USB C connection. I find it connects very fast without any need to perform any configuration. The monitor has built in sound. Although It isn’t the best sound quality. I didn’t buy it for that reason.

    Pros:
    – Good size screen for a portable screen
    – Lightweight
    – The screen cover and foldable stand is tough
    – powered from the laptop through USB C
    – Easy to connect and extend laptop

I would recommend this screen as a portable screen for working in the home or away from home. It is a really convenient way to extend your laptop.

Bought this at a reduced of 99 then a 10 discount was applied. Neat and compact and be taking wherever you go. Versatile too; hooked phone to it and watched a Netflix movie on. Great purchase at a great value price.

Quick convenient bringing your effective office on the move – most of the stuff I do needs two screens. Also, comes with all of the connecting leads that you need, good quality, gold plated connectors. Literally connected it to my laptop with the USB c lead, reached for the instructions to see what next and it was working anyway. So far dead chuffed.

    Great value for money.
I was sceptical but it’s a great little monitor, bright and clear screen.
Comes with all the cables you’ll need as well as a foldable protective case.
Ideal if space is limited especially if you get 2 and use them as dual monitors.
    Can’t fault it.
Bought it along with UGREEN Tablet Stand – https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08VDF8PZB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 – which makes an excellent stand.

Was looking for a second monitor when working out of the kitchen. Didn’t have the storage for what I thought a second screen was. and then. saw a friend of mine on social media talking about this and thought I’d try it.

    LOVE IT!!

So easy to set up – powered and signal from laptop, all through a single USB C lead – instant split screen.

Comes with a cover/portable stand so it folds up like a large tablet and stores in a drawer or cupboard, so no having to worry about where to store it in a busy kitchen with 3 kids on the loose!

Comes with USB C to USB C, HDMI and USB A to USB C cables with a charging plug (if required as if using USB C to C then you only need one cable!!6

And all for half the price of a monitor! What’s not to like!!

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME bit of kit!!!!

Bought this screen during the Prime promotion and the fact that its till the same price makes this a great bargain.
I bought this as I have little desk space and putting it away each day is easier than putting away a actual monitor. Its light weight and easy to set up with a laptop. I am yet to try it out with the Nintendo Switch.
Only disappointment was that I could not connect it to my Google Pixel phone.
I would definatelty recommend this if using it for work stuff and at 99 its a bargain!

It’s image quality is good- not far off that on my laptop. It’s thin and light. The protective cover is neat and works well as a stand, in either portrait or landscape. The controls are easy to manage. The price was very fair. A good buy. Comes with all the cables, you will need, including a power lead (so don’t bother, like me, buying a HDMI to mini HDMI lead. You won’t need it!). You won’t need to use the power lead unless you are connecting to your computer only via HDMI. If you are using the USB ports, the power cable is unnecessary.

At home I have 3x screens, when travelling using just 1 laptop display significantly reduces productivity. Having an easy to transport 2nd monitor is a game changer. To a point where I am now thinking can I get a 2nd one! Easy to use, good quality, great picture. I have nothing but positives to say

Value for money – 5/5 ; productivity boost is worth every penny paid – and more!
Features – 5/5 ; USB C + mni HDMI. More cables included than expected. Cover protects screen and acts as stand
Seller – 5/5 ; swift delivery, great comms

Would – and likely will! – buy again!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI got 2 of them, as i like to work from multiple screens. There is a slight colour variation in the screens compared to the laptop and the sound is quiet, but neither of those impact the work i do anyway.

I have 1 plugged into the USB C and the other plugged into the HDMI. The HDMI one does need to be plugged into a power supply, but the other one gets its power from the laptop.

I bought the stands separately and I don’t use the magnetic cover unless I am travelling for work.

I’ve had them about 3 weeks and so far no problems, if they do stop working I will update this review.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have only had this 30 minutes or so I ordered at 8am and it was delivered by 8pm I have quickly rigged it up to my laptop which is the secondary use for me and it is exactly as you would expect plug it in turn it one and your away. The main reason I purchased this portable monitor is for setting up NVS for CCTV systems and maintaining them where customers don’t have a monitor in place and it’s just perfect the amount of monitors I end up breaking being in the back of my van or it just gets in the way but this will live with my laptop safely in the cab. I have briefly tried it on my home NVR and it is just as I would of wanted. If I was going to be extremely picky the magic case it comes with could use some stronger magnets to ensure the case doesn’t come off unintentionally but this really doesn’t effect use. Exceeds all my expectations I highly recommend

Bought this as I am often on sites with just my 14inch laptop and when working from home I have 3 x 24inch screens. This is great for working with when away with work and in places like server rooms where I can hook up to a headless server if required or simply use as a second screen to my laptop. Cover and stand are great too.

  25. ferminriordangnsyr says:

Very good product. Clear screen and comes with all the cables. It has definitely improved my productivity.
Some downsides:1. the supplied cover does not act as a stand as there is no magnetic attachment between the cover and the screen. I had to buy a separate stand.
    2. It would not connect with my hp elite with single USB. I am using both USB and hdmi cables at the same time which makes it a bit awkward with cables sitting between the laptop and this screen.
Perhaps some smaller cable attachments and blue tooth connectivity is needed.
But overall, I am very happy with the product, it’s price, portability and performance.
    Well done.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis monitor was recommended to me by my colleague as I mostly work from home on my laptop. I use it as a second monitor rather than having a fixed standing PC monitor. Its basically a tablet so its flat and easy to put away, doesn’t take up a lot of desk space and it comes with a cover with ridges to stand the monitor up, which is great! so no extra cost there. It comes with all the leads and connectors so again no additional money needs to be spent or worry about which leads you require to fit the monitor. There is no messing around setting it up, just a quick plug the monitor with the lead and it automatically mirrors your laptop or PC monitor.

The picture quality is very good, bright and clear.

I bought this screen to allow me to work remotely while away on holiday. Inhave it setup using usb3 for power (using the USB to USB c connector provided) and hdmi. It works perfectly for what I need it for (office work). I have not tested for any gaming or film etc. I did have issues when trying to use it via the USB c to USB c cable only. Not sure whether it was user error. But it did not come up as an additional display in windows. If this could be refined it would be perfect. As I said hdmi works great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt may not be the best out there, but for even full price this monitor is fantastic for many use cases. Taking it away on a trip for that bigger display experience without the heavy weight of a laptop. You can plug in a speaker so the sound quality can be increased loads (Built in speaker isn’t bad but you’ll wanna plug in one to the aux in). Great as secondary display either via HDMI or USB-C. I’d recommend buying a Mini HDMI to HDMI adapter when purchasing this so you have more flexibility for any use cases such as plugging in say a Fire TV Stick etc.

Finally, it’s not so heavy duty in weight and also is easy to travel with. Powering it also is a delight as you can plug it in to the wall or power it from a PD enabled powerbank (Power Delivery) and it has a a PD enabled USB-C port to boot so you can power it well and another USB-C peripheral also!

    Highly recommend, 5 stars!

Screen quality ok, haven’t used it much yet due to the horrendous smell. It smells like rotten fish on the back and the smell get way worse when the screen is working! Hoping it will go away but if it doesn’t not sure I can stand the smell! Quality of audio very mediocre but is a screen so that was kind of expected

Update: stopped using case and the smell went away. However the screen when in use it makes a very annoying high pitched sound

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this for use with my Steam Deck as some games benefit from a bigger screen. However, this is better than I had hoped. If I plug the steam deck charger into one of the monitor’s USB/C sockets, and then the steam deck itself into the monitor’s other USB/C socket I get pass thru charging, so no need for a dongle. I had not expected this, and it’s a real benefit.

The monitor can also be powered just from the steam deck itself with a cable, which gives me a couple of hours play depending on what I’m doing. But this does mean that the second monitor being taken on the go becomes a real option. It’s not nearly as bright, however.

Only thing I would say is that if you’re using the Steam Deck as your controller you’d be wise to get an angled USB/C adapter as otherwise the cable can obscure the screen depending on how you’re sat. I got a 180deg dongle from a seller on here for about a tenner, very tidy.

    Genuinely delighted.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWhen I ordered this Portable monitor to use with my Nintendo switch OLED I wasnt expecting what I got, at the low price I paid I figured this would suffice until I decided if it was worth having one, how much would I use it? so when this package arrived as you can see from the photos the product is incredible for the price, well packaged and with everything you need to use it, the picture has a good menu of adjustments that I have only just begun to adjust and the built in speakers for a hotel room are ideal although I predominantly use bluetooth headphones, I have certainly answered the question whether I would use this or not and the answer is I use it alot infact whenever I am away from home its with me, great piece of kit and I highly recommend it I have also connected my phone and ps4 to it as well and these work equally well, if you are looking for a good quality product for a very reasonable price this is one I would recommend, I am so pleased I got this one and wouldnt be with out it now

Delivery was fast. The monitor is really good for use with my laptop. I’ve also tried it on my iPad which is great to watch things on such as Netflix. My sons used it for gaming is Xbox and found it great. One downside is connecting it to my laptop you do need to have two cables going into the laptop not just one as the picture suggests, so you need one to connect it to screen and then another one that connects with a power source be it either on the laptop via usb or a mains plug. Would I buy it again. Yes I would

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt works well with my Dell G15 running Ubuntu. I have it connected to a thunderbolt 3 hub via a usb cable for power and a hdmi cable for the video.

Compact, thin, light weight. Nice case/stand.

1080p resolution. Crisp and sharp. Not used the speakers.

The stand works well on my desk.

The monitor sits under my huge wide screen monitor to the left of the laptop.

It works well as a chat/email screen and gives me my fourth monitor without taking up much desk space.

I use it for customer meetings where a projector is not available.

I’m tempted to buy three more for work to get rid of the large monitors that currently sit on the floor. I only need 1080p and I’ve limited space.

    ******Edit 19/04/23******
So I’ve bought a second for work on the work account. That Works fine.

I then bought a third one that has been returned. I’m really not happy with my time being wasted… as I had to do an 18 mile round trip to return this one.

The box in hindsight had been opened.

The film covering the screen was attached to the case. I initially did not think anything of it.

I attached the monitor to check it worked and got a warning from the computer. So I checked the eeid information. The monitor reported it was an A1 version and when I compared the information against the others the video resolution support was a lot less.

The label on the back mached.

However I was not happy with an inferior specification monitor so it’s been returned.

Before returning I did an even closer check and found a thumb print on the monitor. My fingers very rarely leave prints (very dry skin) and I avoid touching screens in anycase. The cables also looked inferior to the ones supplied with the others; not as thick nor as long.

I’ve attached the screenshot of the eeid information. It’s the one on the right. The one on the left is one of the original monitors.

In summery I think someone did a swap and returned an older model or a different model and that was sent out as new… So check everything carefully.

PS. I’m happy with the two that I have.

PPS. A large proportion of tech kit I buy is warehouse/referb/returns. But in these cases they will be clearly marked and as described, this was not…

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprised at how good this is.

I started staying at my GF’s house a few days every week but started to miss my Xbox Series X. With the TV occupied by the children I wanted a portable solution that can allow me to discreetly play my Xbox at her house.

    PROs
    -Good build quality.
-Works as advertised! Plug and voila the screen fires on, enabling me to play the Xbox anywhere.
Refresh rate is good for Fortnite.
-Image quality is as expected and similar to that of an affordable laptop. Obviously it doesn’t compare to my LG C1 with OLED and Dolby vision, but I’m satisfied and not complaining. Brightness is fine but not ideal for use outdoors or near a very bight window.
-Can be powered by your laptop and most USB chargers that people have laying around.
-Volume and brightness rocker is more intuitive than buttons. It makes the monitor less prone to being knocked over.
-One cable solution with my Macbook Pro using USB type-C.
-Packaged with all cables that you need, including a HDMI to mini HDMI cable.
-The smart case is protective but also serves as the stand.
    -Built in stereo speakers.

    CONs
-Speaker quality is fine but the max volume is low. Probably intentionally so to avoid distortion. If the room is noisy or your gaming console has a loud fan, you might find it difficult to hear the audio. However it’s acceptable and like many gamers, you could use headphones instead.
-The stand has no adjustment and hooks onto the monitor using magnets. Be mindful of this if you have children or cats as they could topple the monitor over.
-HDMI to mini HDMI cable is a bit short.
-No HDR, however most monitors or TVs in this price range either have poor HDR or no HDR.

Regrets? No. I’m happy with the purchase. For some games like Microsoft Flight Simulator and a few others, a 4k monitor would be over. However the 1080p screen that I purchased has better value for money – especially if you only plan to use the monitor a few times per week.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersVibrant display for it’s price point, unfortunately the magnetic cover detaches very easily which isn’t particularly confidence inspiring when you use it in portrait mode. The stand/cover doesn’t really fold up particularly well in landscape mode which is a pain. Thankfully Arzopa have a sister model with a fixed stand which is MUCH better.

Couple of other improvements I’d like to see in future models. You can’t daisy chain multiple monitors even though there are two USB C ports on the monitor.. The ports are also in a bit of an annoying position. If you use the monitor in portrait mode the USB C lead protrudes from the top of the display. This means the cable can accidentally block the display, and also has a tendency to make it a little more unsteady due to the weight.

The included accessories are good quality, and generally the display feels good.

I ordered a portable monitor because I needed an extra screen, I’m developing my class lessons and need at least two screens to work simultaneously. I like its brightness and good colour combination. I highly recommend to buy this product in the near future.

Only been using it a day but already I’m very impressed. Everything you need is in the box and is easy to set up. The display Is big and bright and robust. Don’t like the toggle switch but don’t expect to be using it much so not a big deal. Definitely recommend this brand if this is something you need.

I am not great with all these gadgets but I had it set up and working in no time. This second screen is a life saver for work, but ideal if I travel with the kids and take their switch. Only 1 little niggle that the cover / stand took me a while to maste

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersMy Table S1 arrived today and I unboxed ready for testing. Had multiple scenarios I wanted to try:

    1. Microsoft Surface Pro Gen 5 – connected via Mini display port adapter (which I already owned) to the supplied HDMI to Mini HDMI cable. Connected with ease, screen powered on and colour and brightness where both superb. Running as an extended desktop is exactly as I wished.

    2. Xbox Series S – HDMI from console to mini HDMI (cable supplied). Used a USB A to USB C from console front facing USB slot which gave power to the monitor. Set preferences to 1080p and we have a smooth running game, played on a portable monitor. Means I can game on the go.

    3. Nintendo Switch – This was as easy as connecting the console, without the dock, straight to USB C and use the power cable supplied (power socket + USB A to USB C) to give life to the monitor.

This monitor is as close to plug and play as you can get, easy to set up and great colour definition. It’s better than I had expected. Will definitely consider buying another.

PS the tech support, via FB messenger is excellent. I emailed them before purchase arrived to ask about my cabling solutions, to make sure I had all the necessary cables when my device arrived. Reply was clear, specific and within hours.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have been looking for a portable screen for some time, so when I saw this one appear it seemed to be good value given the size and the price.
The item comes well packaged and with most of the cables/accessories you are likely to need. If I was to add anything to this package, I would add a mini HDMI to HDMI socket adapter or HDMI-HDMI Inline coupler as some of my devices have HDMI plugs on them which will not fit into the mini HDMI socket on the device.
I managed to get it working straight away with both my Windows laptop and my Mac laptop using just the USB-C to USB-C cable with no issues, and I tried the HDMI output of my laptop too. I have not been able to get it working with my Android mobile devices as I’m guessing they do not support USB-C Video, though I did connect it to my iPhone with an HDMI adapter and had no issues.
The display is clear though it could do with a little more dynamic range and some display adjustments are disabled when connected via USB-C which leaves it a little lacking in brightness/contrast/vibrance – maybe I just haven’t found the controls for this on my Windows laptop when it’s connected this way.
For me, the audio is poor, too quiet and not as clear as it should be, though there is a headphone socket so could probably connect some better external speakers if needed.
Either of the USB-C ports can be used to power the unit or connect to a device.
On the whole I’m impressed and I would happily buy it again if needed.

This portable monitor is great for anyone who works from home, or for people who want to be able to work from anywhere.

The monitor is lightweight and easy to carry around, it weighs less than one kg, so you can throw it in your bag and take it with you wherever you go. It’s also very slim, at just 0.3 inches thick, which makes it easy to slide into a small space in your bag or backpack while still allowing you to use it on the go.

It has an anti-glare IPS screen that provides fantastic picture quality and rich colors. The resolution is 1080p FHD, which means that videos and games will look crisp, clear, and beautiful on this monitor.

The best part about this monitor? It’s also a smart cover! You can use it as a stand when you’re working at home or on the go and then when you want to fold up your laptop and put it away for travel purposes or storage at home, simply flip over the cover. It has two USB ports and a mini HDMI port so you can connect all of my devices seamlessly.

Overall I love this, I take it to meetings and use it at home to work in front of the tv rather than in my study.
The only problem I’ve had is that the screen surround keeps getting stuck to the cover due to excess sticky left over from the screen cover which is causing it to break.

This is an excellent screen, I got this to use with my iphone and bought an iphone to HDMI cable I plug in but the HDMI port on the monitor seems smaller than a standard HDMI cable so I haven’t worked out which cable I need to make the phone happen but I can still use this with my laptop which is useful for a second screen.

The monitor itself is slim and portable and very light and has a cover which adapts into a stand but we found it slipped and didn’t really hold in place well so I use a sturdier stand with it to prevent it falling and breaking.

The screen is clear and bright an the size is ideal, such a useful gadget, I’m really hoping I can find a cable to fit to use with my iphone as watching videos on the train will be perfect with it! Recommended.

This one fits the bill very well, and works not only with my MacBook, but will also work with my iPhone if I need it to! Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI work from home and always need a 2nd screen for my laptop. I have a very large one set up in my home office, but wanted something portable that would be easy to set up when I wanted to work elsewhere. Specifically at my backyard pool during the summer!

I had no idea there would be so many to choose from when I started researching one to buy. I relied very heavily on reviews when making my decision, and have no regrets in purchasing this one.

This connects to my laptop with the (included) hdmi cord. The quality of the screen is really good, even when outside in the bright sun.

Unfortunately, it is not battery powered. I plug it into my portable battery, though, and it works just fine all day long.

The cover that comes with it works great for protection when on the go and also as a stand when in use. This feature was very important to me when deciding which to buy and did not disappoint.

I have recommended this screen to 2 other people who have also purchased it based on my recommendation and they are pleased with it as well. Highly recommend.

    Great quality

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI bought this monitor for remote work. As soon as I received it, I used it for 2 months straight, then on and off whenever I wanted to work from a coffee shop. I’ve used it for 3 mos now along with my Dell work laptop, and here are some observations and my experience with the monitor:

The monitor comes with 3 different connection cables – a USB-C/USB-C cable, a USB-A/USB-C cable, and a HDMI/mini HDMI cable.

    1) I have only used the USB-C/USB-C during my entire use. When I use this cable, the monitor is dim (about 50% bright), and I would have to manually increase the brightness each time. It’s a minor annoyance, but not a deal breaker.

    2) If you’re not using the USB-C/USB-C cable, then you have to use the other two cables TOGETHER in order for it to display. When I connect the monitor like this, I notice the screen is automatically 100% bright. Anyone else notice this?

    3) After observing #2, I hooked the monitor up again using the USB-C/USB-C cord….. then the screen went to 50% brightness again. For the heck of it, I also hooked up the HDMI/mini HDMI…. This didn’t do anything. When I removed the HDMI cable and hooked up the USB-A/USB-C, the screen went 100% bright.

For my needs, this monitor does a great job. It’s thin, lightweight, and fits in my laptop case. I am not experiencing any flimsiness with the cover/stand as a few have reported. I anticipate using this monitor a lot more in the coming year as I plan on taking advantage of working from anywhere. So, I’ll update if this monitor goes out on me prematurely.

This is a nice-sized display that has a tablet-style presentation, along with an origami-like smart case for multiple stand positions. It comes with a generous selection of cables, and has a good fit and finish.

I’ve been using this variously as a second screen on my iMac and as a main portable display for the Nintendo Switch. It functions great in both cases, and is a really nice option. It does have a limited maximum brightness, which is most notable when it’s side-by-side with the iMac, so I’d say that it is best considered a second screen rather than a primary display – but it’s perfectly functional.

As well as the limited brightness there are some slightly frustrating compatibility options. It syncs perfectly (via HDMI/Lightning cable) with my iPhone, with screen-mirroring, but when it comes to playing a Fitness+ video it refuses. I don’t know if this is a firmware issue with the display or an Apple-side restriction. Either way it’s frustrating as the screen would be a perfect solution to showing that content.

All in all though, this is a nicely versatile second screen with tablet-style portability that delivers performance across a variety of uses.

The portability of this monitor wins me over, it’s light for a screen and has a quick and easy magnetic fold up case which doubles as a stand. It fits inside my laptop bag and is easy to carry around with a slimline chromebook or equivalent.
The screen quality is perfectly useable and looks bright enough and clear enough. Watching a movie on it doesn’t have the same colour depth or sharpness I’m used to on a 4k tv but that’s not the primary use for this, it’s perfectly fine using this in a caravan as a tv.

The sound isn’t great at all, it’s like laptop speakers lacking power and bass, as soon as I turned up a zoom call it all got a bit nasty sounding.

For 179 it’s an ok buy if you’re after a second portable screen, the build quality does not seem premium and the buttons don’t feel that good so not sure how long it will last but at the moment it’s working fine.

This is a very good quality, versatile portable monitor – great for adding to your computer’s screen real estate, or even as a bigger screen for two player Nintendo Switch games.

The monitor comes smartly packaged, with good quality power and HDMI cables plus a power brick, and a clever origami smart cover which can prop up the monitor. There is also a helpful user guide and a nice cleaning cloth – all very thoughtful. One small gripe is that the one metre power cable could usefully be at least twice as long.

The monitor resembles in size and weight the screen element of a larger laptop, and is impressively thin, while still accommodating two USB-C ports, a mini HDMI port and a 3.5mm AUX audio port.

The picture is excellent, whether for tv, video games or just as a monitor extension. I was particularly impressed with the screen’s performance with quite demanding Nintendo Switch games – the monitor kept up nicely with fast-flowing, multi-player Mario Kart graphics, for example.

Don’t expect miracles from the two audio speakers – given the compact size of the unit there is very little room for audio components to work with and the sound is acceptable but without much in the way of depth or bass.

Aside from the mediocre audio, which may not matter if you are using headphones, or just working, this is a very good quality and highly portable additional monitor, which I am happy to recommend.

Some people mentioned that the build quality was not good but all as I can say is that they must have got one dodgy unit because this is one of the slickest things I have ever seen.

Great quality, smooth to the touch, the picture quality is out of this world and the snazzy design is just tremendous.

This is beautiful and it performs on a level that is way above my expectations.

Advances in technology never cease to amaze me, and as a “techy” I love to try out new kit. At first, I was at a loss as to what to try first, my Switch Console docked on this larger screen, or paired with my laptop. BOTH in fact, worked rather well, and I used the additional screen as a presentation screen alongside my laptop for a meeting at work. I then tried it with my Switch and the quality of the screen was very decent.

This screen is versatile, and I think for the money pretty good value for money. My only real gripe about it is the cover, which I found did not attach quite as well as I would have liked. I guess I have been spoilt with the Microsoft Surface and Apple iPad Pro whereby the cases are perfectly magnetized.

Overall VERY pleased with this, and think I will use it a lot, but the case/protector could do with a bit of improvement.

It’s very easy to setup this display with Windows and Mac PC as a second screen. I use this as a second screen which speed up my work and also make it easier for me to attend calls as I don’t need to toggle between applications.

You can also pair this with your phone for mirroring the phone screen which can make playing games or watching movies more enjoyable.

The display has great quality and some controls are given to change brightness, contrast, colours. The display comes with inbuilt speakers which is definitely a plus.

The picture quality is impressive. The display has a sleek design and attractive look with smooth finish.

You don’t need another stand for this display as is protective cover can also be used as a support stand for this monitor.

The monitor has several ports and all work as expected.

The cost of the monitor is on the higher side. The monitor has a good size to be able to use for long duration.

This external monitor is nice, once you open it, you can smell the premium material used, but the case doesn’t have a great magnet. The screen is very big, isn’t super bright, and the audio volume isn’t hight too. The good is, you can connect a phone, (Android or iOS, Samsung has also a computer mode), or tablet or a laptop even. Everything it works fine, i even connect through a Type-C dock a mouse and keyboard, and with Samsung DeX i have used like a laptop.
The only missing part i believe, is the lack if Wi-Fi, it would be helpful to connect a phone through wireless, and also a lack of an internal battery.
In the end the user experience is really good, i ll bring with me in holiday too

This is a really cool bit of kit. It’s very thin and very light – ideal for travelling.

You know that thing where you bought a small-screen laptop because you usually use it hooked up to a huge ultra wide screen at home, but now you’re travelling.? That is what this screen is for. Or for hooking up to your iPad. This gives you a nice option to have a decent-sized (15 inch) screen for travelling, without having to commit to a large laptop all the time.

The set up doesn’t really count as a set up. I plugged it in to power (it doesn’t have internal batteries, so you’ll need to be near a socket) and used the cable provided to connect it USBC-USBC to my iPad. And it worked.

The screen quality isn’t the best compared to what we’re used to nowadays, with Retina screens and so on. However, it’s certainly good enough for working at word-processing type stuff, although probably not for high-end graphics. It’s certainly adequate for watching films in your hotel room (or wherever), but don’t be expecting cinema-quality picture and sound, because that is not what this is for.

I’m really happy with this – happier than I thought I would be – and I think that it’s good value for the money. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this.

Excellent portable monitor - best for computer stuff rather than films (but will do both!)

I’ve been wanting to test out one of these portable monitors for a while and this model from Arzopa seemed as good a place to start as any. At 1080p and 60fps it can work well with PS5 but not take advantage of its higher resolutions and frame rates. That said, I’ve been testing it with the latest Call of Duty on the FPS setting and it’s something I can happily use with one of the ultimate twitch shooters. Input lag is not an issue and visibility of opponents is strong.

It is indeed compatible with a HDR signal and the colour gamut in this mode is pretty nice but it’s all a bit too dark and unfortunately I see no way of countering this. It works in some instances better than others. Cartoon-like graphics tend to look great. For a game like Stray, you may want to turn HDR off in order to see where you’re going. It’s a shame. Other modes produce a decent if less dynamic image but I found Game Mode to be oddly washed out.

When playing movies it’s a similar situation. You can view 4k Blu-ray discs on it (in 1080p) and it picks up the HDR signal but again it’s commonly too dark. All other discs are as expected. Solid image quality and motion.

Results with Nintendo Switch are favourable. A screen of this size suits the graphics very well while being significantly easier to see than on the Switch’s screen, although if you have a Switch OLED, the loss of the OLED screen balances that experience out somewhat.

The included folio case offers enough protection for transport. It doubles as a stand and is adequate as long as you’ve got the space to lay it flat. The HDMI cable is 1m long which should be okay in most portable situations but you may want longer. It wasn’t ideal to connect to my PS5 in my set up, to be honest.

Sound is passable. I didn’t expect much and got slightly better than that. Not that this really matters to me because all the devices I connect to the screen have Bluetooth so I use headphones. There’s also a 3.5mm jack on the screen itself.

Overall, I’ve found the monitor fit for all purposes. Viewing angles are reasonable although on mine I detect some minor light bleed in the top right corner when viewing from the side over black images. Controls can be a little fiddly at first but quickly become second nature.

In this instance a portable monitor has turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for. Just a shame the HDR isn’t a touch brighter. Worth noting that for Switch and older consoles like PS3 and Xbox 360, HDR doesn’t come into play and doesn’t really have to for current ones either.

I received this monitor for free as part of the Amazon Vine Programme.

This monitor is beautiful! I love the size of it and how it has a variety of uses! So far I’ve used it as a second computer monitor, I’ve been able to hook up my Nintendo switch to it to play games and even connected my phone! The graphics are amazing and I love being able to play my games on a bigger screen. I love that it comes with most of the leads you need to connect it to your devices and it was packaged nicely! The stand that it comes with is really handy too! The only thing I would critique is I wish the lead to power the monitor was a bit longer! Unfortunately it is quick short and it makes you limited to only being able to use it near a plug point which isn’t always possible. Overall, I love it however it is rather expensive so if it is in budget it is a nice treat!

This monitor is thin and flat and quite weighty, is well-finished, and comes in nice box with three leads and a power adaptor and a pleasant-feeling cover/stand. The controls are simple, and occupy the top left edge, with the three input sockets further down. When I used the USB-C to USB-C lead to connect my Android phone, the screen immediately mirrored the phone’s display, magnified to fit the larger screen. This is impressive, but I soon ran into a problem. The phone flagged an overheating condition, and after repeating the warning, it shut down. Clearly, with the phone powering the screen, the drain on the battery is too much. The monitor has no battery of its own, so realistically, will need the separate power supply to be connected for anything longer than brief use. This makes it a little less convenient, especially since the USB-A to USB-C power lead is only about one metre long. You could substitute a longer lead, or use an extension. The phone will be charged in this configuration. The third lead supplied is an HDMI lead, which will not power the monitor. I haven’t found a source to use this lead yet. The PC has two graphics card, but no output to suit the leads, so an adaptor will be required. I am not convinced I need it, though. I believe there are options for a second monitor on the PC, but a standard monitor would be more useful in that role, rather than this portable one. If this device had Bluetooth and its own power source, I might make use of it. As it is, the applications for me are limited at present, but I am sure it has a niche. The current price of 180 is considerably higher than it was when I was sent this sample.

A decent portable monitor, but it overheated my phone.

This screen surpassed my expectations in terms of build quality of the screen itself. The design is very stylish. that also functions as a stand and protector for the screen when travelling.

It’s powered by USB-C (I have a USB port in my main monitor which then plugs directly into this monitor and powers it just fine) and uses a HDMI to Mini HDMI cable for visuals. The picture quality itself is great but you should keep the hdmi in cable somewhere were it won’t get knocked – I’ve found that even the slightest knock creates static on the screen which you then have to re-adjust the cable to fix (nothing too major, though).

WORD OF WARNING IF THIS IS INTENDED TO BE A SECOND MONITOR: Make sure to double check that your motherboard supports iGPU in your BIOS Chipset options. If it does not, please order yourself a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter as you will almost certainly need it if you wish to extend the monitor (and not just duplicate the main monitor screen to this one) – I made the mistake of not checking this and had to order myself a DisplayPort adapter later.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis monitor is truly plug and play.

Depending on what you are connecting it to, you may be able to just run it via the USB C cable, which can transmit both power, and the images from your device.

I am in and out of meetings all day, being able to use two screens while in a meeting, showing data on one, without showing my entire inbox, from a confidentiality standpoint is very useful. I am able to run this from my thinkpad, just with that USB C. It automatically detects and powers up, and is ready to go in seconds.

The case took me some time to work out exactly how to use that without it wanting to fall over. Once you figure that out, its fairly sturdy and wont fall over without being knocked. There are 3rd party cases that may be more sturdy and provide additional protection when moving about.

You can use it as a traditional monitor, duplicating or extending the display. With more high end phones, you can use it as a second screen, if you wanted to watch something on a larger display. Unfortunately I am not able to use that function due to my phone being quite old.

This works well, is easy to use and has a crystal clear display. Cant fault it.

Plug and play - on the go

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis review is for the Portable Monitor, Arzopa 15.6” 1080P FHD Laptop Monitor USB C HDMI Computer Display HDR Eye Care External Screen w/Smart Cover for PC Mac Phone Xbox Switch PS5 (15.6 inch, S1, black)

144.99 at the time of review.

This is a little weird. Arzopa advertise this portable monitor for 144.99, reduced from 179.99. They also advertise what would appear to be the same monitor for 135.99 reduced from 159.99 and the only difference I can see from a quick scan is that the latter model has a rechargeable battery. Some of the reviews for this monitor must relate to the latter model of the above as the reviewers mention charging the battery.

This model has no battery and is powered by a supplied USB C cable; it also has its own power plug as well. I found connecting it to my devices worked well and easily and could expand/duplicate my screen well. It even worked under Windows 10 and using a USB to HDMI converter without any problems. The image was good and stable and I didn’t get any flicker at all.

The cables are just under 1m long and I feel they could double that length to make it easier to position the monitor where you need it to go. They work fine; they are just a little on the short side. If you are using this monitor with a laptop, for instance, then it would be less of an issue perhaps but if you are placing it on a desk you may already have enough stuff there that your space is compromised somewhat.

It took me ages to get the stand/protective sleeve into the correct height and for ages I had it lying at the most awkward low angle to the desk. Only when I saw the images on the advertising did I see how they got the stand to be more vertical than I had it.

My final thought concerns why/where you would want to use this type of portable monitor. If you simply want a second screen, you can buy a regular monitor for around the 100 mark or less, so why buy this? I guess the advantage is that this monitor can use a USB C port or (USB 3 with a converter as I did) if you don’t have a spare HDMI port. It is also light and easy to carry about with you when travelling. It could be useful for working from a laptop, for instance, or for people in tech support to check on a computer’s video status; for checking on a server that doesn’t have a dedicated monitor, and so on. I would not use it for a second screen for serious gaming though as its refresh rate simply isn’t good enough.

The stand is the weakest part of this package, so 4 stars and recommended for professional use or travelling, but I am less convinced about its value for use at home.

Really pleased with this travel monitor. It seems well made and is super easy to use. Comes with power cable and a couple of connection cable options to get you started. I knew I needed to connect with hdmi and didn’t know how I would do it considering the screen is thin well who knew there was a mini hdmi, certainly not I! And better still, one is provided in the box (mini hdmi to hdmi). The cables are not long, but adequate. Works straight out of the box. Screen image is perfectly adequate. Sound isn’t the best, but I can live with that. Works well with my desktop PC, laptop and tablet.

I travel a lot so I was looking for a portable screen and I finally found the perfect one.

My work requires a second screen.

There is no way you can complete everything on time using just the laptop.

It’s been always a huge problem to work out of home or office but not anymore.

This portable screen is medium-sized (I got 15″) so you can easily put it in the laptop case and take it with you on the plane or any place you go.

It’s pretty light which is also great for traveling.

Also, it’s very easy to attach this screen to your laptop.

I reattached it a few times because my laptop moves a lot and I didn’t have any issues taking it on or off so far.

I am personally very satisfied with this

This is a really well priced, nicely made little screen that comes packaged with just about all the cables you might need to connect it to your various devices.

It comes in a really nicely packaged hard cardboard box, very much like a macbook or similar. Inside you get the monitor, a cleaning cloth, a USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-A to USB-C cable and a mini HDMI to HDMI cable, as well as a USB-A wall plug adapter. All the cables are actually really nice, though they’re all quite short, only about a metre long, but they’re nicely made cables and I was surprised at not only getting all of them, but at how nice they actually are as well, given the price of the monitor. I was also pretty impressed by the monitors smart cover, which comes attached out of the box and fixes onto the back of the monitor with magnets, folding into a neat triangle stand to keep the monitor upright. In practice it looks really nice and provides a bit of protection whilst also keeping a really slim profile to the monitor.

So all the accessories are great, but how’s the actual monitor? Well, it’s pretty good actually. I found when it was plugged into my iPad it was a little washed out, though I might be able to mess with the settings to sort that out. Plugged into my macbook, however, and it was all fine and looked excellent. If you’re looking to buy this for doing photo editing work, maybe as a second monitor as a streamer or for any sort of conference/office use then this will be perfect. If you are hoping to pick up the perfect gaming monitor, well, you might be a bit disappointed. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s really good for a portable monitor and if you want it to game on in a mobile package, then this is great, just don’t expect it to match your dedicated 4k, 120hz monitor. As a secondary monitor, then this is so convenient that I think it makes up for any shortcomings it might have in its picture quality. Its thin enough that I can keep it in the same carry case as my laptop and then I have a dual monitor setup anywhere I might need it.

It has excellent connectivity options and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack which you are absolutely going to need if this monitor is your only option for sound because the speakers are awful, I mean beyond bad, they are essentially useless. I kind of think at this price point that that is fair enough, I’d rather they concentrate on the panel quality, but just a heads up, you’ll either want headphones, or some sort of external sound option, because the onboard speakers are just not worth it.

But having moaned about the sound, I do really like this monitor and think it punches way above its weight. I’m a podcaster and do occasional live streams and I’ve used it to have chat windows and backend apps on whilst streaming, I’ve used it for extra tabs in chrome when I’m researching and writing my scripts and I’ve even plugged it into my camera and used it as a camera screen, just to see if it would work. Honestly, for the money I am pretty well impressed by everything that this does and I think if you’re looking for a good value portable monitor then you could do a lot worse than giving this a try. Normally I’d dock a star for the sound quality being so bad, but I think given the price and the fact that its essentially bezel-less and really thin, it can be excused, especially as I doubt most people really care about the speaker quality that much. I also think it would be nitpicking to dock stars when it’s so good in every other way. An excellent product overall!

Great, portable little secondary monitor, with fantastic included accessories

This is a really good idea if you want a secondary display to use in conjunction with the laptop. One of the more interesting points is that it can be entirely powered via one single USB C cable – meaning you don’t need to carry an additional power supply or worry about lots of different cables. There is a number of different cables included in the box for other connection options such as HDMI and also a power adapter if you want to use it in conjunction with something like a smart phone that wouldn’t be able to deliver the power. It’s really easy to set up and it’s plug and play once connected it works fine with a number of windows laptops and also my iMac and MacBook. The magnetic case means you don’t need to carry a stand and can have a couple of different positions and when I used it in conjunction with my iMac I was even able to use it in a vertical which might be handy if you want some clip views et cetera if you are doing a video. The speakers are particularly good quality but it works and for the price I’m amazed how good it is.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent
This is basically a IPS monitor with good colour fidelity and brightness.
    Excellent clarity
Very useful indeed as the versatility means you can use it with various devices such as a Nintendo Switch or other games system
Plus a computer such as a Mac Mini

I gave this to my son who uses it to play with his Nintendo and to plug in the Apple Mac mini

    Easy to set up
    Very well made
    Plug and play!
Plenty of sockets and cones with the cables you’ll need – HDMI and usb. C
The magnetic cover stand is a fit fiddly so takes a little time to set up
But overall excellent as can be used as a portable monitor
    Worth the money too

    Grea

I’ve managed to get this connected to my Dell latitude E7450 with no issues at all. Mini hdmi cable goes into the monitor alongside a usb c to usb into the plug. Synced with no other requirements. The picture is great and I can extend or duplicate just as I would with a projector or dual screen, really happy with that.

Then I tried with my iPhone XS, not expecting much but it worked and I can even play the bbc iplayer on it! The sound is pretty good! The picture, even with the plastic still on ( I’d like to get a screen protector first) is excellent. All I used was a normal hdmi to iPhone converter cable. It started to ask me for a firmware but then just connected it without my doing anything else.

I’ve uploaded a video to prove it works! Neither of these are listed as connecting according to the instruction manual, but it does say other devices will connect.

I’m really happy with this! Recommend it for all the reasons:

    – easy to connect to many of my devices
    – sound quality is good
    – size is great and integrated stand works well
    – practical and has all cables and plugs included
