we use it to warm up our conservatory, it is amazing how quick we can feel the difference of the temperature in the room, especially when it rotates, easy controls to use very happy with the product great value and can highly recommend the heate
Would of been nice to have felt some heat off the brand new heater.
But the bloomin dog got in first .
So I guess it’s a good heater ,
P.s
Dog bites so I’ll wait a bit to test it myself
UPDATE impressed with heater. Ordered a second one for upstairs
I have tried other heater fan but this is superb, the fact that it warms my room in just 30 mins gives me joy. This is the second one I have purchased, every home should have it.
Very pleased with this purchase. Warms through quickly and love the oscillation on it for lo and hi outputs .
The heater has good output and warms rooms up quickly and efficiently. It helped manage heating costs over the winter. When I had a query the supplier was really responsive efficient and helpful so you are in good hands.
This is a good portable heater that can be easily be moved anywhere in the house/garage .pumps out powerful and srong heat and also spins so you heat more space .light weight and save you money
Our central heating boiler stopped working and we had to wait 3 days for a gas engineer to come out during a very cold period. It was bitterly cold and we had no supplementary heating, so we ordered this ceramic heater to heat our living room. It worked extremely quickly and we soon had to turn it down! It does not take up a lot of room for storage and is easily portable. Highly recommended
Unit is deceptively small given the heat it pumps out. Oscillating feature is good at distributing heat around whole room (rather than the corridor of heat that can come from non-moving fan heaters).
A good heater. And half he price of the big ones
Good little heater bought it because our kitchen gets very cold in the winter. Only downside is that it is very noisy else would have given 5 stars.
Energy efficiency which is a big plus, heat output and safety
This is quite good for giving a fast warm up to small areas. You can have the unit oscillating or fixed and the top over safety cut off worked instantly. Light to carry around from room to room.
My radiators take too long to heat up. This gives out instant hea
It’s very good for the dize of it and rotates to Hest up a room quickly
This is an amazing heater, does what it says it does, even stops mould.
Warms the room quickly. not sure of the energy use yet. Only slight down side it is a bit noisy, but the warmth is worth i
Good size heater and good heating output soon had the small room warm , too early though to know the cost of running it.
it automatically turns off when you pick it up which means its safe to move it while its on or accidently gets knocked onto a carpet sideways which is useful!
Proves to be energy efficient as if you keep the door closed you and keep the heat in the room and it doesn’t have to be on all day:D (id say it only up takes 2 hours for a large room and I like it to be really warm! )
A good little heater that send heat out as soon as switched on.
I bought this heater after seeing how many good reviews had. I am very pleased with it, it is small but can heat quickly and effectible a good size room, it is economic and works well.
We liked the fire, it’s warmth, looks, and it is in the price range of its competitors
Bloody smashing little heater, I was recommended by my sister and one of the best buys I’ve made. Small and compact to carry from room to room and heats up in no time at all.
Thermostat a little flaky. Cuts out at one temp, but then temp has to drop a good few degrees below that temp, to kickstart it.
Worth the money though.
A great heater, perfect size. Without it I would not survive at work at this days.
Heats room quickly only downside is that it’s a bit noisy
I would highly recommend this heater; great for when you want 1 room to be warmer, without needing to put on central heating. Heats up quickly, and has been so useful.
As it becomes very hot when it’s switched on I would not personally leave it accessible to young children or pets.
A very good manual came with the pro breeze heater which should be read thoroughly before using the heater.
I’m amazed how quickly it heats up my 6mX4m sitting room. Only using it in 5 minute bursts. Not needed to use my E7 central heating yet. Hopefully, will save me a goodly amount on my electricity bill this winter.
Well made, very easy to use, and move to different rooms
Temperature setting could be digital
Apart from this very easy to use
Fantastic heat, I have the temp at less than half and on low output (osc) and the heat output is fantastic for a 15ft x 10ft room. I am sure if I have it on max and high it will heat up a bigger room.
Love the fact that is oscilates. Lets see how long this one lasts!
Bought one before and decided to get another as it has been good.
Small In Size but pumps out the heat. The oscillating option is great to speed the heat around.
My bathroom . to heat the room up then I remove the heater THEN run the bath.
It’s warm and cosy in a short time.
In these tough energy times this is a good alternative if you only want to heat one room.
Unobtrusive and simple to use.
Perfect little heater. I bought this because of the current energy crisis and hopefully keep my bills at a decent level
For its size it throws out a satisfying amount of heat quickly, it’s fairly quiet good at taking of the chill in the room.
quick to heat up a room and very portable so will be used a lot this winte
GREAT BUY. THOWS OUT A LOT OF HEAT. EASY TO MOVE FROM ROOM TO ROOM. COMPACT AND GOOD DESIGN.
The best fan heater that I have got. It is so cute and it works so well. I would highly recommend it to others.
Only just purchased not as much heat outlet as advertised.
Central heating broken down and this little heater is doing a great job heating our lounge up in ten minutes. So far good value for the money
It has an automatic cut off on the bottom of it topples over, I would however have liked somewhere to wrap the cord (underneath for instance) however understand this is probably a safety features to prevent cable being coiled when in use. Aside from this, it seems like a superb little heater however this winter will be the real test.
Basic controls, but that’s good! Haven’t tried it on max heat, do can’t comment on total output, but low heat, oscillating, was great.
Fantastic little heater. Warmed my room even on low setting very quickly.
It warms up the room in no time. I won’t give all the stars thogh because it melted a socket. I shouldn’t have ran it perhaps for hours…
Possibly the best portable Heater for Winter. Does its job perfectly. Ideal for kitchen use where you can’t have a heater. We are cooking happily now. Go for extra 2 years warranty and you won’t regret it .
I brought 2 different heaters at the same time. After the winter, this one is still good in use. Warm enough and durable.
This little heater has allowed me to get out of bed on many occasions; provides a good amount of heat quickly and efficiently. The rotation feature is nice so you don’t get blasted constantly.
The device has safer feet on the bottom for if it’s knocked over it will turn off
Heat settings questionable for adjusting heat level; I would say these could be better designed to work bette
This little heater heats up my 3x4m room within a couple of minutes including on very cold winter days. It is stable and very sturdy, doesn’t get knocked over, and the heat output is strong. It’s much more efficient (also more cost-effective) than the electric radiator which I now no longer use. I’m very happy with it and have bought a second one.
I use it at about 1/3 setting on Low, and it will adequately lift the heat of the room to a more bearable level. I have not been beasting it until its glowing.
Its slightly noisy if you watch TV with the volume set low (I don’t like loud TVs) but I must admit that I have actually got used to this now.
My only gripe is that it does seem to have a fairly wide-band theremostat, in that after the heater has been running for a few minutes and shuts itself down, it seems an age before it comes on again. Though having said this, I have not tried it at say 1/2 heat; it may come on sooner – but I’m trying to run it economically and at a minimum just to float the heat in the room up slightly.
I needed a second one of these, but noted the Haden heater which looks and performs identically to this Pro Breeze 2000W Mini Ceramic Fan Heater, was a bit cheaper.
Thought I’d write a review up because I’ve had this for 4 years and it’s been great for me. I’ve had other cheaper fan heaters before and you get a couple of months to a year out of them. This one beats them all easily.
I’ve had no problems with it. I can imagine other people’s problems are likely to be their own fault. Without them knowing it is their fault.
Much better than the previous “radiator” type I had which frankly became a death trap when it started popping and sparking.
Decent price and looks well made. Good amount of heat too. So far so good.
I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT 5STARS BUT THE FAN WAS VERY NOISY
Great for a small room, currently using to heat up my legs quickly when the room gets a cold. Much more convenient and quicker than turning the central heating on. Cant speak on the durability but Hopefully it last me a long time, happy so far.
Small and well made.Just as description. Good heat out put and ease of use.
Ideal for small rooms.
Compact with good choice of options in control of ultimate temperature requirements.
Fan rather noisy.Hheat flow tends to rise rather than staying low to the ground.
Fairly chucks out the heat. My room is 15 feet x 12 feet and this heater raises the temperature by about 5 degrees in 15 minutes or there about. If I was using the gas boiler the room would be about 1 degree warmer in that time if I’m lucky. The differential between the on and off triggers of the thermostat seems to between 3-4 degrees, which could be better but it’s perfectly usable.
Out of curiosity I timed the on/off cycle and currently with the door and windows closed it’s on for 13 minutes and off for 42. At 2KW it’s costing about 10p per hour which I think is pretty reasonable. As for noise, I can tell it’s on – you can’t expect a fan heater to be silent – but there’s no need to up the TV volume which is fair enough. It’s quieter than the ambient fan I use in the summer.
The oscillation feature is nice as it distributes the heat evenly.
If the 2000W heat output is the size you need to heat a room, this makes a perfect little electric heater. Portable, controllable (both in intensity and whether it rotates to spread the heat) and with a cut-off switch if it is knocked over. All at a good price.
Note that is an ‘old school’ heater – you physically plug it in to a 13-amp socket and manually set the controls. No smart functions. I like that for this portable product. It’s a different product from a ‘permanent’ ceramic radiator which might use a thermostat and smart use of cheap tariffs. You could use a smart plug to allow some control.
Just bought a second unit as the first was so useful: we can now heat a couple of rooms on a temporary basis if our gas boiler fails again.
Great product, it does what it says! Warms up the room very quickly when I come home to my apartment. Often I put this on & leave central hearing off and the room stays warm forever. This product is more than worth the price and will definitely recommend!
Bought this last year, and am using again. I saw other reviews about dust getting inside. I don’t know about that.
My apartment is laminated except for my bedroon.
I’m still yet to see any dust build up other reviewers were referring to.
Maybe they need to vacuum their homes more often!
I.m extremely happy with this and would definitely recommend!
In just a few minutes the louge is warm.
I also place in bathroom whilst showering near the door off course not near the water. The bathroom gets warm instaneously!
Once you put theDial to left half way it’ll cut off when room is already warmed up, so half way of the left dial is all you really need!
It has some manner of basic thermostat built into it so turns off after a while on its own depending on what you set the first dial to, then turns back on once it’s cooled back down (if left set to ‘on’). There is no remote included which it claimed to have at one point – while it would have been a handy extra, it wasn’t a requirement). It’s about as loud as anyone could expect a small fan to be. It has four settings – Low, High, and then Low Oscillating and High Oscillating. I find that Low with the other dial turned to about halfway is plenty sufficient to warm upstairs comfortably when left for a couple of hours on the hallway. The heatwave from the fan doesn’t travel super far into the room, but it does a great job of warming a room up.
It also has a safety button on the base that shuts it off if the unit gets knocked over, which is useful when in use around pets (although my cats avoid getting too near it because of the fan sound and the heat). The base itself is otherwise sturdy and there’s no way or reason for the unit to easily tip over when placed on a steady, even surface. The base also doesn’t get warm so I feel safe when it comes to the surfaces I place it on when in use. Only the front seems to get hot/warm to the touch after it’s been used. It has a handle on the back/top of the unit and it’s very lightweight which makes it easy to move from room to room without a problem. There were only one or two times it seemed to give off a very very vaguely plastic smell the first couple of times I ran it.
I don’t tend to pay too much attention to my electric usage in great detail so I can’t comment on how expensive it’s been to be using this every day, but I don’t feel like it’s going to be excessive.
I’d just had my downstairs floor tiled and couldn’t use the under floor heating for a couple of weeks (in November). I needed a heater to heat the whole open-plan downstairs consisting of living room, dining room, large kitchen and hallway as all my doors still hadn’t been hung. This heater had good reviews but when it turned up it was barely bigger than my kettle. When I first powered it on at max output, it didn’t seem to blow that hard and I was thinking I’d have to order a couple more, however this little beast of a heater managed to heat the whole space in no time. I couldn’t be more impressed with the output of such a small device. I’ve only had it a week so can’t vouch for its longevity but as far as heat output is concerned this heater really does the job. The controls are straightforward to use…you set the heat output you want and decide whether it blows high or low and whether you want it to oscillate or stay still. It’s small and modern looking so can just sit out on the counter and not be in the way. It seems to have a safety cut-off where if it’s lifted whilst in use it will stop until it’s set down again.
Great heater, runs for a few hours a day on and off and keeps us toasty warm. I imagine in a single room that this wouldn’t need to be on for long. I would highly recommend this heater.
I bought this for 40 back in October 2019 to heat the conservatory space I use as a bedroom during the winter and it’s performed admirably. Like most space heaters figuring out the ideal setting for the temperature control is a matter of trial and error but that’s the only criticism I really have.
Aesthetically it’s nice and neutral, so it can go into any space without offending anybody’s sense of decor. It has a reliable safety mechanism which springs loose and turns the machine off if not standing upright. It naturally makes a bit noise but it’s by no means an unreasonable volume in my opinion. If you wear headphones you’ll be unaffected, otherwise you’ll probably have to turn the volume on any media you’re playing up a bit but not obnoxiously so.
When the weather was at its coldest this little thing really proved its worth: I never thought to time it but I would say it can get my airy conservatory from sub-zero temperatures up to shorts and t-shirt levels within half an hour of being turned on. I wouldn’t recommend using it like that for a regularly lived-in space because it requires permanently running the 2kW setting which will land you with an eye-watering electricity bill if you’re doing that daily, not to speak of the environmental impact, but I had to see if it could be done for science and yes, this thing is strong enough to generate tropical temperatures in poorly insulated conservatories while your car freezes over outside. Fortunately for my more practical purposes the lower 1.2kW setting with the dial a bit over halfway and the thermostat turning it on and off is more than enough to cut out the winter chill and not bankrupt you. One weird thing I’ve noticed is that static mode seems to heat the room more effectively than the oscillate setting, it’s funny because that’s one of the main reasons I went for this product but I don’t mind as long as it’s doing its job well. Ultimately I’d thoroughly recommend this to anybody in need of a good space heater on a budget.
I was a little hesitant to buy at first as I’d never heard of Pro Breeze but couldn’t see anything else that was exactly what I was looking for. But no problems at all, well packed, neat and unobtrusive and will be very easy to put away for the summer. Or maybe we won’t even bother, its so small it doesn’t take up any space at all. My very critical son was suitably impressed which is an excellent recommendation! I’d definitely buy another if I needed one.
ETA 4 years later
And this heater works as well as the day I bought it. I even took it away on holiday once! It’s been perfect for it’s original purpose of heating the kitchen/dining room. Great for popping into the kitchen to make a quick snack without freezing!!! It’s now been rehomed to another property where it heats up the large living room very quickly (no central heating there and only an electricity supply), and I’ve ordered a replacement Probreeze for home. I did look at the cheaper versions but for me, the oscillating feature is extremely useful and spreads the heat round nicely. Even with the horrendous cost of energy now, the thermostat should limit the time its actually using power. It’s only for occasional or intermittent use so should keep me warm without breaking the bank too much.
