Well constructed. Sturdy. I like it! Just be mindful that if your yard is huge, edging by hand with this will take forever. I do like that sharp edge for splitting roots.

Overall very well designed, but fairly flimsy hollow-core fiberglass shaft.
Broke after 2 weeks, but they did send me a replacement without questions when I contacted them.
We’ll see how long this one lasts, but now I know to be careful when lifting and dividing.
It does do a better job of breaking up clumps once the dirt is softened than standard forks.

Well designed but not sturdy enough

Bought as present for my dad. He’s been looking for a 3 prong fork. But nobody makes them any more. I found this and thought he might like it. He said it’s not what he wants! My mums tried it out on a really tough root and said it was great getting it up compared to other forks. Does the hard work for you.

Bin 83 und habe noch nie so leicht Grabearbeiten erledigen knnen. Der Spaten dringt durch Erde und Wurzeln, die ein normaler Spaten nicht durchdringt.

Edged sidewalk and driveway. Easy to use does a very good job and much quicker than other tools to do the same job. Root cutter works very well working around shrubs.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis saved me a lot of work on my hands and knees removing grass that had grown over the plastic black edging on my lawn. I have a BIG lawn and it never failed. Very sturdy and very easy to use. There is a small learning curve of getting next to the edging, but once I figured it out it worked like a champ. I’m a 67 year old female (although I do keep in shape), had a knee replacement last year that was on the knee I used to “shovel” with. I had no issues with it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a great spade cutting through roots and it seems to handle slightly rocky ground. It is lightweight but very sturdy and ergonomic for an overweight 70 year old. I’m only 5’8″ and it suits me fine, it might be a little short if you are over 6′.

I am 67 years old and found this to be the most lightweight and easy to use shovel I have owned. I dug up 4 bushes with long tap roots and yes, I was tired but it was a lot easier with this shovel.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is not only a shovel, this is also a serrated root cutter that you push on with your foot ! And that really gets the job done.
It is sturdy enough for most things, be carefult though that you can’t use it as a lever to rip a 1 foot diameter stub out of the ground. Use it to remove the earth around the roots, to cut through small ones until you get enough removed to be able to remove the whole thing.
it is small enough to be used while leaning/squatting/sitting/kneeling around the problem area, but also long enough to use while standing up, weighting on it to saw a protruding root inside the soil. The handle is ergonomic and you won’t get blisters on your hand even after a few hours shoveling the area.
The weight is light enough, although I understand making it lighhter would have implied a reduction in its sturdiness, so that’s ok.
    Overall, a good product, recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve had a few edging tools over the years and they’ve all broken at the bottom of the wooden handleprobably due to me using them to create new edging and carving up sections of lawn to remove for beddings etc. Anyway, I’m really happy with this purchase. Used it to create a new flowerbed and to section off turf to be removeddid a great job including breaking through 2 inch thick roots.

I bought this in May 2020. It has been the best spade I’ve ever bought. I thought it was pretty indestructible until today. The shaft which is wooden has just given way. Such a shame. Even though it’s only lasted 2 years, I’m buying it again as if I had not attempted to leverage out some heft clay soil it would have last longer. I will simply have to restrict its use to something lighte

I was really surprised at the weight of this fork. It is supposed to be lightweight but in fact is heavier than any of out forks. I had hoped it would suit my wife who finds any sort of digging in her garden very hard these days. We’ll see how she gets on with it when Spring arrives but I think it will prove too heavy.
If the concept actually works to make an effective tool I won’t mind using it myself but we won’t know that for a month or two yet.

Does exactly what they say it does. Cut through thick tree roots like they were limp noodles. Well worth the price.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersRegardless of price this was worth every penny for me. Due to my age and condition of joints, I felt I required the very best tool available. I’ve done a lot of digging/planting. And this technology fantastic. Even my 8 year old could productivity dig in the rooty, clay soil. The joy, pride and satisfaction validated the expense.
