Seat Cushion for Office Chair – 100% Memory Foam Pillow

I normally don’t review things but this is a GAME CHANGER. I just had a hip replacement and sitting down made my tailbone hurt so bad when I ordered this and I haven’t been in pain all morning. It’s like sitting on a cloud.

I have been having severe hip pain for months. I was sure that our 12 hour flight to Japan was going to leave me in bed for the entire 2 weeks we were supposed to be there. Using it on the flight was easy and very helpful! The handle makes it easy to carry. The relief on my leg did wonders. I ended up carrying it all over Japan. I now use it on my kitchen chairs. My hip pain is still there, but nowhere near as bad!

My mom is elderly and found this question to be most helpful and giving her elevation to help get off of a chair as well as comfort while she’s sitting on it.

It was smaller than expected and not as thick so its hard to sit right on it so that it makes a difference. While it can’t use it consistently because of this, it does help for about 30 minutes at a time.

Had surgery and needed a good cushion for sitting. This cushion is great, solid, well made, and comfortable. Only drawback is that I exceed the weight limit which does make a difference after a while of use.
Recommend that the maker make a size larger for heavier clients. Definitely would be worth the extra cost.

I got hamstring tendinitis and it hurts to sit on my ischium. With the slit in this cushion I can adjust so I am not sitting in ischium. This is very firm foam. When I got off the plane I noticed this gentleman carrying it and he said he had sciatica and it worked for him on the airplane.

It is very comforting and relives pressure off your spine.

This has given great relief for a spinal slippage causing sciatica and numbness. This seat has been a godsend it is comfortable and used with a back support. Great buy.

I drive trains with worn out drivers seats. This is a huge help and makes those long trips to the seaside a dream.

After buying several types of coccyx cushions over the past 12 months this has been by far the best one. The cushion keeps it’s shape and has most definitely helped reduce the pressure on my coccyx when having to sit for a few hours. I’ve now bought a second one for the car and used it when travelling the 7 hours from Cornwall to North Wales. It makes travel bearable. The handle on the side is useful too so I’ve taken it into restaurants, the cinema and wherever I’ll need to sit.

Ok so i got this cushion becuz i sit all day, i try to kneel on the floor, sit in a kneeling chair and stand at my desk throughout the day so that i am not sitting all day. If i sit all day my sacrum is killing me by the time i get home. about 15yrs ago i had surgery for a herniation between my sacrum and L5. I’ve been fortunate becuz only since last yr my back has been causing me alot of problems, probably becuz of being locked down and staying home more due to covid. Fast forward….
This cushions works, it is firm, it keeps it’s shape, it is comfortable, it absolutely helps, i can sit on it all day and my back doesn’t hurt.
When i first sat in the cushion the first day it made my lower back hurt, however i very quickly realized that IF that happens to add sum lumbar support. I hav a lumbar pillow so once i put that in place i was VERY comfy. I now see why two pillows are shown when u order. i think the lumbar support is key here, when using the cushion.
I do understand that the cushion was NOT causing harm to my back, becuz i was sitting differently other back muslces needed to be engaged more. Im happy that using that extra lumbar support worked becuz it really does feel so much better. Feels like normal, when you were young and didn’t hav any back problems.
i am very happy with this purchase, it is exactly what i needed and the best part is my back doesn’t bother me from sitting all day.
P.S.
1. Play with the adjusting of the cushion, just sit it in at first,
2. then get up and push it all the way back in the chair, then sit down in it, see how u like that.
3. Then get up and move it forward in the chair and see how you like that. (note if the cushion is more forward in the chair the lumbar support is most useful for that perfect form of sitting up straight and tall in the chair.
4. most importantly is to play around with the positioning so you find the most comfortable position for you.

Pretty thick padding, and quite sturdy, so does the job pretty well. In comfort terms, it’s a very slightly awkward size for my legs (I’m 6ft tall) but for the most part it’s pretty good. I tend to break it out for the afternoon when I’ve been sitting in the chair all morning, rather than using it all the time, and it helps alleviate the built-up discomfort of the day.

I had two issues with my chair:
1) I could do with a bit of extra height
2) I spend a lot time on my chair and I felt maybe a cushion would make it more comfortable.

I made this purchase, there were some critical reviews. My first impression was… “interesting”. The coccyz support (gap) was an awkward thing but I soon got used to it. Initially I thought it was a little too firm but after sitting on it for long durations, you start to realise this firmness is necessary as otherwise your cusion would soon sink. The memory foam and firmness allows you to spend a long time on it.

I would say initially you need to give it a a few days and then it will be like you cannot do without it. Kind of depends on how badly you need a cushion to begin with.

I used on my office chair and it actually supported my lower back. I genuinely haven’t got the lower back anymore (I did do some exercises alongside it)

I was worried that this cushion might be a bit squashy, but I was pleasantly surprised by its firmness and comfort. I wanted it primarily to give me an extra couple of inches which it has done. The comfort of it is an added bonus.
It does not move about on the chair due to it ‘sticky’ underside and it is very light which lend itself to travel.
I am a 52kg small frame female, I’m not sure how it comfortable it would be for a larger, heavier person.

I have returned this due to the size. I bought it for my car but it wasn’t compatible.
From seeing the product I would say it good quality and good value

Spending long days sat at my desk. My bottom and my hip bone would hurt. Obviously a repetitive strain injury. From the minute I sat down on this cushion, I knew we were meant to be. Love at first sit. I’ve gone ahead and bought a further two for my mum and dad. So yeah!

Wife’s dodgy back, but this seems to help. Only time will tell.

Wasn’t convinced this would work but was worth a try. I used it on a long journey in the car where previously i would have had to constantly move around because of the pain and take regular stops to get out and walk about. The pain was massively reduced using this cusion therefore i could comfortably sit still in the car. Would 100% recommend!

This cushion has really helped me with my posture, and the discomfort I was experiencing when sat at my desk for work.

I have had it for a few weeks now and am not feeling the discomfort I did previously.

So, I am a big and tall man (0ver 6′ tall, over 300lbs), and I am using a $70 Ikea office chair which I far exceed the weight limit on. I am in this chair mostly all day and night, every day, as I am disabled.
The padding of the chair is nowhere near enough. I was using two pillows as extra padding but even with those, I constantly had to adjust to try to relieve pain on my rear, my tailbone, and my legs.
I started looking for better chairs but literally all the chairs I looked at, from cheap to expensive, all have the same reviewed issues: A combination of poor Quality Control, and poor padding.
So, I decided to try a pad instead. At least the chair I have has good QC so there was no point in spending extra hundreds of dollars on a new chair to experience the same lack of padding problem I already have.

I got this two nights ago (on 6/2/21) and and been using it since then (now 6/4/21). So far I have not had ANY pain or discomfort for my rear, or my tailbone, or my legs.

Not noted in the description is the pad comes inside it’s own cover. The cover does not have a handle, but I imagine it is perfect for storing the pad. The cover has two holes at one of the ends to vent air as the pad inside is squeezed and released. A travel cover, perhaps?

*UPDATE*
It’s now the end of July (7/26/21 as of this edit) and I still use this all day, every day. The only caveat is the placement of the pad has to be just right or I will get some pain. Not a lot of pain like before I had the pad, though. But this is easily avoidable. Just line it up right and it’s no issue. I mean, keep it centered and close to the back of the seating area as the pad migrates a little forward when you stand up.
So, I am 6’3″ and a bit under 300 pounds and generally spend all my time awake using my PC and sitting on my chair and this pad. It’s been basically 2 months now of this continued use and the pad still exceeds my expectations and stands as one of the best purchases I have ever made.

UPDATE 2: It’s now 5/12/22 and I still use this all day and night, every day. Items like this are hard to find these days during the plague of planned obsolescence and lack of quality control and price gouging. I’d give this 10 of 5 stars if I could.

This was used for an old office chair. Made it really comfortable.

The product arrived exactly as advertised in great packaging and generally seems well put together. The memory foam is great and supportive (to a point – see below) and the nonslip base works well.

However, at 118kg I should have read the description better I think as I have found that whilst the cushioning is a great improvement for me over the standard cushioning on the chair I’m using which is awful, I’m not sure my larger butt fits it that well and I do find after extended periods I do have some tail bone discomfort when getting up. Admittedly, I didn’t notice the weight recommendation when I bought it and this isn’t advertised it as being designed for those of my weight/butt size so this review is more useful to those over 100kg that are thinking of giving it a go.

If it had been advertised for my weight I would have given it a 2 or 3 star rating but as it’s not, it is well made and supportive and would imagine it’s great for those lighter, smaller butt’ed people and so went with a 4 so not to pull the average down unfairly.
