Easy to install.
Bought these during a daily deal and so pleased with them. They are super bright and have a really decent range to pick up motion. So far out of many solar lights we’ve purchased for our new dog parks business they are by far the brightest, easy to install with the solar panel and light as one unit and so far charging really well, especially being in Scotland and heading into darker days! If they’re back on offer any time we’ll definitely buy more, although for the quality, brightness and sensor range they’re a good deal at full price (we got them for around 32 on the daily deal)

These are perfect for security lights that are solar charged through the day with the internal battery, the led panels on these can move around and be adjustable by horizontal and vertical angles as required, they are super bright and provide a very strong motion sensored light without being on the mains supply
Easily installed with the included plugs and screws allowing you to install either on a fence or wall mounts as required, I installed mine above the conservatory doors to provide some well needed light in a dark garden at night, makes you feel more secure when opening the door and letting the dog out at nigth

I bought these for our back garden as our puppy wouldn’t go out in the garden in the dark. The lights were fitted in appropriately sunny spots in the garden in minutes. The lights are really effective and light up our garden very well. The lights can be either just be on motion mode or on all the time at night . We had it on motion mode so obviously the light’s weren’t on all the time so I don’t know how long the lights last if on all the time during night time. Very pleased with these

Lights seem very good, but unfortunately to put them at a reasonable height the solar panel ends up underneath the gutter and in shadow. If I had a different application, or a two storey house I would be pleased with them

These are offering impressive light and are solar powered which makes them very cost efficient. You have to have them in a place where the sun can recharge them during the day so you can enjoy them during the night. Sensor works well and is very responsive. The end panels can be moved to the sides so to cover more all around.

These have been up now for over two weeks and seem to work fine and are very bright (just one mode, come on when motion is detected)
The solar panel position is fixed but the light panels swivel left, right, up, down.
Installation is pretty easy just mounting a plastic bar on the wall and clip the fitting on.
No complaints but a shame you can’t position the solar panel for maximum sunlight.

Solar security lights are getting better and better. These are simple to instal – no wires, just screw it in place. Set up what mode you want, and you’re good to go. The light is bright enough for good security and to show up faces on your cameras (if any), and the motion sensor works far enough out for you to a) be able to see where you’re going on a dark path, and b) see the burglars for a reasonable amount of time on your camera (if any).

This pair of motion sensor, solar powered, security lights are quick and easy to install and set up. They are quite a big size and stand out, but I like how they look on the walls. There is one placed on the back wall where it is very effective and lights up a big area of the south facing garden. There is a gate at the end of the garden that leads onto a lane that runs down the back of all the houses on the street. It has always been a concern because there is no lighting, so it is a prime spot for potential break-ins. The security light sensor picks up any movement and emits a very bright light across that area. I am sure that it would deter anyone who is thinking of entering the garden late at night. It is also useful for the children who often use the back gate entrance when they come home from school. During the winter months (when it gets dark much earlier) this powerful light will enable them to see where they are walking and help them to keep to the path rather than end up walking over the grass. Hopefully, this will mean less muddy footprints through the house!
The second security light from this pack is now on the wall at the side of the house where the bins are stored. The sensors are really sensitive and even visits from the local cats will turn the light on. The side area is covered in gravel, which attracts a lot of cats in the area and it has been awful discovering they have treated the ground as a giant litter tray, but since this light has been fitted, the cat mess has greatly reduced.
The solar panels work really well and I think the lights look so much tidier without any ugly trailing power leads coming from them.
The light panels can be angled and directed to where you want them and they provide a wide span of light.
These solar panel security lights have been useful in more ways than I had expected and I think that the current price of 25.49 is excellent value, especially for a pack of two!
The Pafolo solar security lights, which come in a two-pack, are quite impressive! They’re of good quality, bright, and relatively simple to set up. I have one on the side of my house to light up our sidewalkand one on the back of my house. Motion detection is excellent; it turns on just as I go towards them and brightens up the area nicely. The angle rotation design is one of my favourites. The heads can be changed to my desired angle. There is only one lighting mode, which is a bright night – time light that turns off automatically after 20 seconds if no motion is detected. The light stays active when in the sensor range which is convenient. Overall, they are effective at illuminating the path ahead without the use of wires or cables and are powered by sunlight. They offer a high level of security while requiring no maintenance. Simply place them in a location where the sun shines the most so that the solar panel can charge throughout the day.
These were super easy to install with the supplied bracket – just screw that to the wall and slide the light on.
The light then can be tilted down and the outer two lights tilted and rotated independently. Obviously no power required and there’s a simple on/off switch – not control over sensitivity, range, time , brightness etc, but they do the job.
As they are solar they really do need the sun to charge them, they will struggle in a shaded spot.
These are nice lights with 2 settings. They are not motion sensor alas so when it gets dark they are just on. They have versatile fixing options but none of them look like they’ll last long or put up with being hit by a football. The ground spikes are probably the best option. They are a good subtle, warm light though and adjustable angle of lights/solar panel. A must for any garden.
This is a great set of solar LED lights. I’ve just installed these on our drive. Easy to install, screws and wall plugs provided. They are really bright and the motion detection works really well as you can see in my video.
The whole unit as well as the LED lights swivel a bit so it is easy to adjust the angle to cover the area you want.

Whole process of fitting comes down to screwing this light to wall will plugs and screws provided in box and that is pretty much all you have to do. Light is fully powered with solar panel so all it needs is access to sun and nothing blocking the rays of sun.

These are extremely bright motion sensitive security lights. Easy to put up and great value. They also seem to be well built and are durable under all weather conditions.
I tested one before drilling holes in the wall to put it up and it lit up our garden enough to see where we’re going, so two will be much better.
All lights in the strip are adjustable so you can have them all facing straight ahead, in a semi circle, pointing down etc, so it suits your needs.
The solar panel is a great size too so it can take in as much energy as possible.
I feel these are a very good price and I hope they last as long as possible!
Upon opening this I was really impressed with the design. It has 3 lights that can be moved to adjust the angle and cover a better area, is easy to install outside and has a large solar panel to get as much energy as possible. We have a Ring security light which comes on day or night as it’s wired into mains electricity. As this is what I’m used to I almost gave this a bad review as it didn’t seem to work. Luckily my partner pointed out that it may need to work in the dark…which is exactly the case! It works perfectly at night and the light is incredibly bright. As they come in a pack of 2 we are using these down the side of our house to illuminate our side entrance. I’m very happy and feel the price is very good for what you get.

Pretty simple installation of 2 srews and hang to wall.
The lights are adjustable in direction but the solar panel is fixed so you can’t adjust it’s angle for better light absorption.
The construction is decent enough though and hopefully will survive a UK winter.
This LED Solar Security Lights comes very well packaged in a printed cardboard box.
The security light is made very well of black solid plastic. There are 5 LED lights all of which can be adjusted to get the correct angles. There is a solar panel at the top and there is a PIR sensor on the middle light that detects motion very well at some considerable distance.
The light automatically turns on and off, it is automatically on when the movement is detected and when no movement is detected the light automatically turns off after a period of twenty seconds.
The lights come with mounting brackets and raw plugs and screws. It also comes with a very easy to follow manual.
These lights I find excellent for security and are great at detecting movement. I have had no issues at all so far with using them. Given that 2 are supplied I think they are very good value for money.

These security solar lights are fantastic. Its amazing just how much light they give out with only using the power of the sun and are ideal for lighting my outside patio. As I didn’t have and near by power source these were ideal and with a set of 2 lights in the box I can easily over an area around 40m2. The lights on the unit can be well adjusted to different angles, but the only slight issue is that it would be better if the solar panel itself could be angled more to catch the sun.
The mounting of the lights was super simple. There is a separate mounting bracket that fixes to the wall then you simply drop on the light which is then held in position by gravity.
The lights have operated very well even through rain and thunderstorms. The motion range is OK but could be improved. I reckon it’s around 4-5m rather than the stated 8m.
Overall happy with good light coverage.

You get two for your money
We have an area around the side of our house with uneven steps which is not practical to get mains lighting to and it is not really necessary to have permanent lighting. These lights are the practical and effective solution.
Fitting was really easy. Just screw the little bracket to the wall (easy for us as it is a wooden shed) and clip the light unit to the bracket. Lots of adjustment available to both get the light pointing the right way and the solar panel pointing to the sun.
In use the lighting is really bright and the sensing a person in the area is very quick and effective. I think the sudden bright light would be a good deterrent to an intruder trying to gain access via the rear of our house. As they are only ever going to be illuminated for short periods there seems to be plenty of battery power to last. night.
A simple effective and cheap solution to lighting in difficult areas as long as there is some access to the sun.
Bright and highly sensitive motion security lights but not as bright as the 5. It’s light weight and needs drilling. I like the solar aspect of charging. It can be angled in different ways too.
Ive gone thru a couple different solar led lights for our front porch. Either they dont collect enough power or they dont put out enough light. This has worked well since I put it up a few months ago and it puts out a great natural light that lights up the stairs leading to our house. Other units were set off by passing cars but this one just activates right where we need it.
There are 2 lights in the set. Each light has a large solar panel and 5 lights The lights have censors so if someone passes they will go on and remains on until all movement has stopped. The lights are very bright and as they are solar powered they are cost effective, I think they look nice tooJust set in position and leave then .

Easy to install: It comes in a pack of 2 solar-powered outdoor lights with a motion sensor and a screw set. Straightforward to mount them on the wall/fence.
Brightness: This is one of the brightest solar lights I’ve seen. Defo 5/5.
Easy to use/ battery-saving: Unlike others with different lighting modes that can be kept on low light, this product has just one lighting mode. It only turns on for a few seconds when it detects motion, which is excellent if this is your only purpose for buying this, as it can keep the battery longer even in gloomy weather. Also, the lights are adjustable, catering to different angles of how you need them.
Reactive motion sensor: The motion sensors are surprisingly reactive even from a few feet away.
Cons: As I mentioned, it has a sensor motion only mode, which means if you’re looking for an always-on mode security light, then this one is not for you. Also, it is too early to say if they are durable, but in my experience, once the water gets into the solar panel, it will damage the whole unit. It could have been better if this product came with a warranty after 30 days, so I can say that it is a good value for money.
A lovely set of security outdoor lights. They shine very brightly, does not require much energy to produce quality light. Motion detection is excellent, value for money is also top. It is a product which is easy to install, the light goes a long distance and can pretty much light of most of the garden as the directions of the lights can be adjusted to where you prefer it. I would definitely recommend this, price is set right in my opinion and you also receive two of these lights. One for the front and one or the back garden. More than satisfied with this!
It’s advised to charge the lights in the off position before first use, there’s an on/off switch on the underside and when switched on the lights will turn on for a few seconds to show that the on function has been activated.
I really like the base mount method where you can position the base first and then slot the light onto it once fixed, this can also be used to remove the light from the base easily to position now and again in the sun to have a full charge ready for the night if the position doesn’t get much sun in the day.
When fixing the base to the wall make sure the angled shelf is to the bottom, there are fixings screws and wall plugs included.
The light is IP65 waterproof and has 190 super bright LEDs, It can produce up to 2000 lumen and has a 6500K colour temperature with a 2200mAh built in rechargeable battery.
Overall, the lights are simple to use and function brilliantly, you can point 3 of the lights in different directions simultaneously and I like the option to remove from the mount to charge if required, thank you.
We have a dark path with steps near our back door and wanted to make it easier to use especially on dark winter nights. This is a motion sensitive light that also detects whether or not it is daylight, so it only comes on when movement is sensed during night hours. Power is from an integrated solar panel so it should be fit and forget — expect that the manual advised regular cleaning with a damp cloth.
No wiring is needed so the only tricky bit is getting on a stepladder and drilling suitable holes in your brickwork. These solar lights are great because getting mains outdoors is expensive and needs a lot of care for safety reasons. I found the supplied plugs excessively chunky so used smaller ones, but it will depend on the exact surface used for mounting. You attach a small bracket, then the light hooks over it so it is removable. The unit comes with some charge, though a top-up is recommended. Specifications reveal a 3.7v 2200mAh battery, which seems perfectly adequate, detection range of up to around 8m (26 ft) within a 120 angle, and brightness of 2600 lumens — fine for our path.
The light itself has four panels which swivel between facing directly down and straight ahead or even slightly up towards the sky (an unlikely requirement. They do not swivel sideways except that you band the individual panels back a bit to adjust the width of the illumination. I do not think the light is beautiful, but it is functional and unobjectionable.
There is a simple on/off switch but no control over brightness or sensitivity. This means you may find pets setting off the light, for example. There is also no option for “always on”, perhaps because the battery would not last long enough — depending of course on how much charge you get during the day.
You get two lights in the box and a nice instruction leaflet, as well as the screws and wall plugs. Seems like a good value package and works well.
I have mains-powered security lights outside my house, but they leave some places in shadow, and that has left me worrying in terms both of safety and security. I thought these Pafalo units might be a solution, without the hassle of putting in wiring.
I was right. The lights are a quick and easy way to add outside lighting. Installation is only a matter of putting in two screws. (Some are provided, though in rare circumstances you might need longer ones.) The light from the units is not quite as bright as my mains-powered security lights, but it’s pretty good — enough to banish the darkness from paths and to make burglars feel exposed. The motion sensor seems about the right sensitivity to detect visitors but not get triggered by swaying branches. It’s rained on my units, but so far they’ve been unaffected. The ability of the units to gather and store charge hasn’t been tested, as we’ve had bright May days, but I’ve no reason to suspect it will be a problem. So these lights are proving very satisfactory, and good value.
One note of caution, in case you haven’t tried this kind of unit before. Having everything in one unit is very convenient, but it’s also a limitation. The parts of the unit can be swivelled to point the way they’re needed, but (of course!) they have to stay together. So, firstly, you might want the lights in a dark place, but it can’t be so dark that the solar panels don’t get enough light during the day. Secondly, the on/off switch is (of course!) on the unit. Sometimes I like to sit outside quietly in darkness, so I’ve put the lights where I can reach up and turn them off. But this would also make it easy for an unwelcome visitor to turn them off, or simply smash them, and so it slightly reduces effectiveness as a burglar deterrent.

The lights look very well built, with good solid feeling plastics and decent size solar panel for charging. An easy slot on bracket means you can easily remove to wipe down and you can turn the light on/off without removing. The lights have a good angle adjustment so if you have the light set at 7-8ft you can angle them directly down. The three lights can also be set at different angles both up/down or right/left.
A single on off switch when on the lights are motion activated and only come on during the night or when its darker outside. The one I have set up lights for 17 seconds, a little under the 20 seconds stated but will stay on if more motion is detected. No need for messy wiring up and the light is bright enough to light an area and for me provide some light down the pathway as well. Hopefully these will last, I have no concerns they wont given the overall build quality. The two lights include the two brackets screws and plugs.
What an upgrade for my balcony!
I needed a solar powered light that would offer me good visibility and at the same time ease of installation, here I ordered these lights and I must say that I am very satisfied with them.
They recharge with sunlight and are IP65, the light is enough to illuminate the path and allows a good view of the environment in the absence of light.

These are the largest solar security lamps I have seen. They are really well made and designed to be screwed into walls. The advertising suggests they could also be used as atmosphere lights – but I think they are far to bright and harsh to use like this (far better mood solars available for less cost). However as a security light they are brilliant (although note that they are sensitive so not best for high traffic areas).
I’ve got similar lights to these for my garden already so I knew what to expect. The light produced is really bright for solar powered lights and they’re great for deterring intruders and providing a bit of light for me when I walk down to my garage at night.
It comes with wall brackets, wall plugs and screws so they can be fixed to masonry or wood.
There are two modes for either constant light or for light to come on when motion is detected, which I’ve tested and am happy to report works perfectly.
They’re great solar lights and good value for a pack of two at 29.99, which was the coat at time of writing.

This is a very well thought out design. Three led panels swivel and tilt to provide excellent coverage. Clever so you can tilt the motion sensor to detect one area, while illuminating a much larger scope.
The mounting plate is very light so easy to fix while up a ladder then simply slide the light into the slots. Brilliant for remote areas
Excellent value and price. I prefer the white outlook, it usually blends better with the look of your home unless of course your home is black/dark.
Let’s talk features, and wow, this unit is full of rewards. With an amazing five-panel/blade design and included solar extension, they really work – at such an affordable price point at the time/date of this review.
I would obviously recommend orienting the solar panels at an angle to best capture the best direct sunlight. So get out your sun compass app and figure it out. Roofs work best without too many obstructions or obstructions, possibly blocking sunlight at various stages. However, where it is inaccessible or impractical, place it on the wall at a right angle. You might even want to consider using a piece of scrap aluminum – or better yet, a clear or reflective sheet – to keep snow/rain from blocking the solar panels and maybe even the light fixture itself.
Tip: You can use reflective materials, or even mirrors, to direct more sunlight onto your solar panels. Obviously, place it in a location where it won’t blind passersby.
I have a similar version to these that have a single light, so I was fully expecting this to blow them away as far as light power goes.
After leaving them out in the sun all day, I set them up at night and wasn’t disappointed; these are really powerful for solar lights. The lights are very bright and can be adjusted to point in different directions
In the box you get a pack of 2 which should be more than enough for a garden, patio or driveway.
I tested the motion sensor and it came on as expected when I walked by. Which is great because it provides light for me in the garden and deters intruders.
It also comes with screws to fix it to the wall, which ones I’ve had in the past did not.
All in all they’re great sensor lights and decent value at 39.99 for a pack of two, which was the price at time of writing. 5 stars.

More impressive than expected. When I received these lights I was quite surprised by the weight of the box. I knew they’d be of plastic construction but didn’t think they’d be as weighty as they were. When you take them out you soon realise that a lot of work has went into them, their are lots of joints and pivots to ensure you get the best light coverage possible to suit your needs. The solar panel also looks of good quality and is a decent size, which is just as well because they put out a lot of light and illuminate the area very well indeed. They’re very easy to install ( three screw’s ) to fix the bracket, then the light unit just slots on. The lighting modes had me confused, it states two modes, 1. Constant on when dark and 2. Motion only on, but the switch only had On/Off? It turns out that off is for motion setting and on is for constant on when dark. I’ve installed back and front of my shed which also illuminates my driveway and part of my garden to cover another shed I have, and I’m very pleased with these. Good quality, solid solar lights.
On receipt these do provide a strong bright light. I don’t know about their longevity or whether they have false tiggering. The fixing allows easy lifting and the solar panel is not angled sideways
