I didn’t want another wired sonos speaker (I have two at home) & I wanted a small, portable speaker to use in other rooms, in the garden and on holiday. This fitted the bill, as it’s battery operated and is small enough to place in a bag. Sound repro is also good. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for..
Had problems with the set up, but Customer Care were extremely helpful and got me up and listening extremely quickly
It’s pricey for what it is but the quality of the sound can’t be knocked. It’s superb.
I used it for listening to my favourite music and a gift to my brother I bought two of this from the same company! Thank you! Will buy again soon!

I’m already heavily into the Sonos system with a couple of Amps, Play 5, Play 3 and Play 1s. What I wanted was something I could pick up – press a button and have it connect to whatever I was listening to and then just walk around the house taking the sound with me.
Initially I had problems where it would drop out of the Sonos system after a couple of days (even though it had plenty of charge left and battery saver setting was disabled). This made it useless as I would then have to go through all the palaver of connecting back to the system just to use it. I think this is now fixed from a hint I got on the Sonos forum to set it with a fixed IP address – if so its well worth 4 stars – otherwise I’ll drop it to one.
Sound quality could be generously described as OK – its a small device so don’t expect miracles or try and use it for critical listening. I haven’t tried it outside.
Big disappointment for me, though, was finding out that stereo pairing is NOT available if your source is linked via Bluetooth, and there’s no aux connection…this means you can’t get nice stereo sounds when away from a useable wifi.
I have speakers in most rooms in the house –just wanted a little cheap one near the kitchen sink so I can listen to the news when I’m washing up. Easy to configure, looks fine, and actually the sound’s fine — at least for talk radio & podcasts etc. There may be cheaper alternatives but as I’m already invested in the Sonos ecosystem this was a no-brainer.

Ottima compagna per qualsiasi necessit, portarla in giro in barca, in spiaggia, in giardino, piscina ovunque, veramente compatta e la qualit sonora per la sua dimensione eccezionale per qualsiasi utente medio che non cerchi la qualit eccezionale e perfetta su qualsiasi lunghezza d’onda che possono avere sistemi da mila euro.. o audiofili che stanno a sindacare la qualit degli alti a xx hz o dei bassi etc etc…ricerca che mi sembra abbastanza fuoriluogo in questo caso.
Forse il prezzo non proprio alla mano ma sappiamo che si paga un sovraprezzo per la marca e ci sta, o meglio, la nostra societ e l’economia ci dice cosi e l’ecosistema sonos (se avete altre roam roamsl one etc..) imparagonabile.
Ne ho prese 2 e ho altre sono play 1 e 3 a casa, potete accopiarle tutte insieme, potete anche accopiare solo le roamsl via bluetooth anche senza app sonos, potete utilizzarle come speaker del pc (stereo volendo se ne avete due) connetterle al vostro sistema home google o alexa, insomma praticamente un p di tutto.
Una 20 di euro in meno sarebbe stato il loro prezzo secondo me ma poco male.
Consiglio a mani basse.
P.S se cercate solo una cassa da usare random per qualche uscita ce ne sono svariate sulla 50 di euro che potrebbero fare al caso vostro, se siete un p pi esigente e pensate di epsandere un eventuale sistema..beh allora andate ad occhi chiusi con sonos.

La integracin del Sonos roam con el resto del sistema funciona perfectamente y permite utilizarlo tanto para complementar el sonido en otra habitacin como para llevrselo de viaje. Sonido ntido y con buenos bajos y volumen.
Bought this so we could extend our music out into the garden when we are out there. It works a treat and connected with my existing Sonos system perfectly.
Would have liked for it to come with a decent case for storage though. It has a flimsy fabric thing, but it doesn’t really do much. We don’t use it all the time, so it would be good to have it in an easy-to-access but sturdier case.
