I don’t use these for sports, normal airpod style headphones won’t stay in my ears. These hook over the ears and work really well. Battery life really good too. Recommended.
In terms of a mid range set of headphones which have been used for running in all conditions, working on property renovations amongst other things, they have survived through thick and thin and are still going strong. After going through the washing machine twice, the sound isn’t quite as good as it used to be but hey, it’s still very listenable to on a run.
I have another pair of premium in-ear headphones for work and casual wearing, but if you are into any form of intense activity or work, then these are a good buy.
I spent hours searching online for wireless earphones that’ll stay in after buying two cheaper pairs on Amazon that fell out constantly, even when I wasn’t really moving.
I eventually found these and while they were more money than I originally wanted to spend, they actually seem quite reasonable compared to other brands on the market.
I use the xs bud and I am pleased to say these have stayed in my ears so well, they feel secure especially with the hook. The different noise cancelling options is a bonus. The 5 different bud options is helpful.
I had struggled to find noise cancelling earphones with a hook to secure in my ear whilst exercising, and I didn’t want to waste more money on another pair that claim to be secure, only to fall out of my little ears. So I was really pleased when I found these, and they have not let me down. They tick all the boxes for me and I feel they are very reasonable price for what they are.
Prior to these, I owned 2 sets of Jaybird Vista 2s. They sounded great, but were useless for me when it came to long runs in the Summer or any gym work. I was constantly pushing them back into my ears as they felt like they were falling out.. incredibly frustrating! I opted for these as they were a lot cheaper and had decent reviews on here. I’m never looking back!! The fit is perfect, and the sound, while not quite as good as the Jaybirds, is nicely balanced even if the volume is lacking slightly; this issue is almost fixed by the excellent ANC. I’ve never had any issues pairing them with my Garmin Forerunner Music or Android phone; it’s all seamless! If you run, these are the ear buds you’re looking for!!
Battery life is amazing, fantastic quality build.
I only say keep them in the box as I accidentally left one in some shorts that went into the wash. These are small, light and easy to misplace
Turns out it still works fine but the person on the other end of a call could hear it going around a spin cycle which is a little distracting!
The guys know how to build/make quality items for not very much cost to the consumer.
I generally hummed an hawed about getting new earbuds, considered all the usual suspects, Sony/Bose/Samsung but glad I plumped for these.
Sound quality is superb and you definitely notice when the ANC isn’t on, you can okay around with sound on the app: equaliser as well.
Build quality seems on the higher end for the price you pay, I don’t understand how they do it, but glad they do.
For me, there is nothing to dislike about these buds. Normally I wouldn’t ride with this type of headphones for fear of not hearing the traffic around me but at low volume, you can ride with quality sound and of course hear background noise. As for being on the Tube, these buds smash it!
These took over from bluetooth headphones which while decent died before their time.
Extremely happy with these – good sound quality, I wear them for runs and weights. They easily last 2 hours and have seen a LOT of use since I bought them.
I am a sweaty man who lives in a very rainy part of the world, and the water resistance has seen me through, including in downpours.
Really recommend if you’re sick of the lower priced earphones out there crapping out on you but don’t want to fork out hundreds for the top models.
I bought these because I was sick of my beloved JLAB Epic Air Sports self ejecting from my pocket due to the soap bar sized (and slipperiness) case. Three sets down and I need something that’s not going to get smashed up in the street or the case going AWOL and so I chose these.
Impressively small case which so far hasn’t leapt out of my pocket. The actual buds feel a little fragile with the pivoting wing but it’s just something to keep in mind as the benefits are clear. Sound wise they’re ok with the right sized grommet fitted. My left ear’ole must be bigger than my right as I do have to keep resetting it even with the biggest grommet fitted. The noise cancellation is no way near as good as my JLABs but it is there but for safety’s sake I don’t consider that a bad thing. The physical buttons are a real boon as they require precise and positive action to make work – always a problem with the capacitive button on the JLABs which would have me smacking the side of my head like Rain Man to try to turn them off in shops.
One great thing is the size – I can lay on my pillow without noticing thay are in. I’ve yet to try and get my full face helmet over them – that might be a bit too much to ask.
Battery life is good – I’m generally happy but it would have been nice to be blown away.
Really happy with these headphones, arrived today. Spent a few hours wearing and using them to test them out. So much better than my buds I got free with my phone. The buds kept falling out and we’re annoying with the touch sensor controls. These soundcore X10 have really good easy to use controls, sound is great with plenty of options on the app for customising. Comfortable and most importantly they stay in my ears.
Definitely recommend especially for the cost.
Purchased the white ones but when they arrived they’re more a rose gold/pink colour. As that’s not a colour option then the description is wrong. Fine if you like pink. Not great if you don’t. Quality wise they’re spot on though.
Anker replaced this so I give them 5* for customer service I bought one and it died, I returned it an fought another the same problem reoccurred on pair 2, unfortunately after the return period but Anker replaced it. Sound was great but the right ear refused to charge on both pairs I bought. It’s beyond the return time I don’t know how to contact anker to get a replacement.
After a month of ownership and using these headphones in many ways I am really impressed. I specifically wanted ear hooks as I wear these sometimes when cycling (very early in the morning) with a helmet and find the straps on the helmet can dislodge my Air Pods pro headphones.
Sound quality: Really good for music and podcasts, clear speech but also a nice round sound with music
Fit: Great. Once you get into the habit of how best to unfold and fit the headphones they are easy to put in
Noise Cancellation: I have to admit this is quite poor and I found I got some very strange sounds in this mode due to a lite breeze. Not an issue for me as I don’t use this feature when wearing these. You get good blocking of ambient sound from the fact they are in ear anyway
Connectivity: Absolutely no issues connecting to multiple Apple devices and the app for the headphones also worked fine on iPhone
Case: This is a much better size than the Powerbest Pro from Beats which is massive!
Cost: really good price point imho, not cheap, not expensive, just very good value for money for the quality
Battery Life: No issues for me so far, I haven’t found the limit but they lasted fine on a 1h40 min ride the other morning
Got these for the gym and they do the job.Perhaps a little bass heavy for some but great for me. Mantain a steady connection and stay in place whilst running. Well worth experimenting with the size buds as a good seal brings the sound to life. The app is also essential. Noise cancelling is okay but doesn’t completely muffle the gym music if it is loud. Overall a good purchase.
My left ear canal is slightly larger than my right one, so I have to use a larger cup in the left ear. I thought the ear clip would would be a solution to prevent the bud from loosening in the canal while sweating when out running, but its not perfect. I use larger cups and I’ve added a sweatband as extra security, so I can live with it.
A secondary problem (that’s a potential showstopper) is that the cradle lid won’t close with large cups so it won’t charge the buds. I’ve tried putting a heavier object on top to close the lid, but the buds won’t charge because the electrical contacts don’t touch if large ear cups are used. The cradle is nano-metre designed, but the designer didn’t test with larger ear cups.
My solution was to go back to the smaller cups and always use the headband when running . Not ideal.
Background:
I had the expensive Beats version of these for running and they got stolen. They were great but that’s 200+ down the drain.
I replaced them with the new fancy in-ear Bose ones that are water resistant. I can’t exercise with them because they either fall out or I’m worried about them falling out. 200+ down the drain again.
So I needed some water resistant wireless headphones for running and gym that are pretty tough.
I couldn’t bring myself to spend another fortune so I’ve been working my way through all though cheap Amazon versions of these (15 to 30). They all lasted about 2 weeks. They might work for some but I’m possibly the sweatiest man alive when working out so I needed something durable.
These are it. They work. The battery is decent. They are comfortable. I kept the Bose for Podcasts etc at night but I’ve actually found myself favouring these.
So yeah decent product at a decent price in a market full of noise.
Sorry that was a bit long winded but it’s been a long journey getting here and I’m just pleased I’ve arrived.
I’ll update this in a few months if I still care.
Everyday wearing don’t fall out of ears all round good job
ied many bluetooth and they always fall out – these never do. Ear hooks soft rubber yet strong enough to hold. The best part – even with eq on neutral I’ve never heard such effortless bass (try time hans zimmer and you’ll know what I mean)
Very comfortable earphones with plenty of Bud sizes. Noise cancelling is good, the sound is great and crystal clear. Highly recommend these for running as the loop is very comfortable around the ear. 5 stars from me.
Good noise cancellation. Overall nice sound quality with excellent bass.
The only negative is you have to use a fingernail to open the charging case, the door has a crappy design and is a bit difficult to open.
Bought these as a step up from previous , thought about other brands like beats and Bose but didn’t get as good write up and always seeing soundcore with good ratings so gave them a try and am glad I did fantastic sound quality , battery great and app customisation is good . I use with Spotify now and again but mainly for use with TV and yes doesn’t use full potential of them but still sounds great !
The sound is great the comfort is great and i like the style. The reason for 4 stars is that the case that the earphones go in looks cheaply made the top bit is very thin. Also you have no indication that the earbuds are actually charging when in the case so if you have any malfunction of charging you will not be notified the spirit x2 you had a light that you could tell
Easy set up great sound – have only set up and not used for any length of time, gym etc, but on the face of it all looks good and good reviews too , so only time will tell.
My powerbeats pro broke, and with the 2nd version rumoured to be coming out soon I didn’t want to for out all that money for another pair, but I wanted a half decent pair until the new ones are released. I have a soundcore speaker which is biblically bassy, so thought I’d give these a go. I may not need to get the new version of powerbeats because these are that good, if the powerbeats are the standard to reach, a 10 out of 10, these would be 9.5, and a 3rd of the price. Well worth i
Very good bass on these tiny wonders. However to get the best bass and sound quality, it is very important that you use the right size ear plugs, which are included. These earbuds hold well when working out and the tactile buttons are perfect when you need to lower or raise the volume, change the tracks or pause the music. I highly recommended these earbuds.
I can’t even remember how many headsets I bought in the past few years, trying to find a pair that has decent sound and is comfortable enough to be worn all day. This is so amazing that I bought a 2nd pair as backup after a month of having them. I hope they never stop making this model!
Really good earphones however I found they do come loose on my ears when I have long hair when in the gym or running, otherwise perfect.
I tried the Bose Sport before these but one of them kept falling out on runs. These are comfortable to wear and don’t fall out when running! I also prefer the sound to the Bose, it seems to be better for podcasts than the basey Bose. The lid on the charging box is a bit erratic and a bit cheap feeling. The button on the earphone is better than the tap system you get on most earphones as commands don’t get confused and you don’t have to stop running. Recommended.
Delivery was good. The quality of the sports ear phones are very good, nicely sits behind your ear and inner ear.
The music/ sound out of them is very good. A long with the touch controls and the hands free speaking on the phone.
I’ve not tested for waterproof yet.
Only negative, are the operating instruction, small to read, although i am 50 and wear glasses.
great to go running, bike to work, do your chores etc
These were the first headphones that actually stay in my ear while thing and hitting the heavy bag. When wearing the headphones i cannot feel the silocone arm that wraps around the ear which i thought would be uncomfortable but i was suprised.
Some reviews point out that the app is needed to sctivate some functions of the headphones, this is correct
But
Its honestly pretty cool cause once done you can modify the functions of the button presses.
Example you can change double tap on the right headphones from “pause/play” to “next song”.
Which i found to be really cool
Noise cancelation is superb.
Transparency mode is pretty cool and works well however since the headphone is literally in your ear, in order to hear surroundings well enough volume has to be pretty low while in the mode to hear others well which i would say is the only con
Overall love these i am looking forwards for the newer version of these headphones.
I love these headphones. I tried multiple pairs of Bluetooth headphones and none of them including Raycon would STAY IN MY EARS. I spent way more than I wanted to but now I know that these are the best ones for my ears. I wear them all day long and I never have to push them back inside the ear.
They sound perfect during phone calls, listening to music, watching videos. I like the way the wrap swivels around so they are pointing the right direction in the case. It seems dumb but I don’t want them to be on the opposite side that they are supposed to go on. I can wear one and not the other so I can have one ear open to listen to my kids.
The charge is good not great and they take a lot longer to charge than any of my other pairs but they will always be my favorite pair based on the fact that they STAY IN. I wish they offered a bright blue color but I’ll take what I can get.
Expensive but worth it.
Werden meine neuen “Alldays”. Ich war so berrascht! Die bequemsten inEars die ich jemals hatte. Passten sofort beim ersten aufsetzen.
I was never a fan of wireless headphones, but after saying goodbye to another pair of wired ones in one year, I decided to have a go at something wireless. These have good battery life, compact, easy to use.
My main downsides are: to use all options (different types of noise cancellation) you have to use phone app. When main noise cancelling profile is on, every now and then you get a ‘glitch’ sound.
These have replaced my cheap but great sounding Power add ear buds. I needed something with good sound, great in the ear comfort and wont fall out. Ive got other ear buds by bigger names and while the sound is brilliant they fall out of my ears regardless of bud. Anyhow these fit straight out of the box which was at almost 100% charge. The only negative is with big manly hands they are a little fiddly to place in the case after use. Sound wise really good, not Bose deep base but deep enough and with out the really tinny high trebles. They connect easily with my redmi phone and there’s no signal drop (so far) have yet to recharge after a weeks use but thats only 5 or 6 hours. A decent set of ear buds from a name that I trust. I have a couple of their BT speakers and they are awasome too.
These were purchased to wear while using an elliptical in my home. I ride 5 to 6 days a week for 40 minutes and like to watch a TV 25 feet away listening on a 5.1 system. Having mild to moderate hearing loss, I have to crank the volume. This was proving to get ridiculous so it was time to try something different. These are my first set of wireless so I have nothing to compare them against. They paired easily to the DishTV Hopper. My AV receiver is older and doesn’t have Bluetooth so the volume of these earbuds alone is adequate, although a little weak. The noise made by the elliptical ranges from barely noticeable to non-existent. They easily paired with my phone, tablet, and MP3 player using the volume control of those to boost the sound to a very nice level. The Soundcore app is easy to use. My favorite feature is the “Custom EQ”. Hearing has lost some of the mids and a chunk of the high frequencies so the Custom EQ allows me to dial things in nicely. They are comfortable and stay in place. The medium ear plugs fit perfectly. There are other sizes included. As for battery life, there are 3 LEDs on the storage case. After one week, two of them are still lit. Since these are sweatproof, they do exactly what I need them to do. So far so good. I hope they last.
Long time user of Soundcore branded earbuds here… and I have to say… compared to my Liberty 2 Pros (that just got stolen out of a rental car) these things are amazing… and I thought my Liberty 2 Pros were really good… These blow them away.
They are super comfy to wear all day long… No ear ache… Much easier fit for me as well…
Less likely to fall off and lose … especially easy for the liberty 2 pros to fall off my ears while on a plane… not these! These also are wearable while I rest my head on a pillow… Which is a huge plus as well.
The sound quality is a little “wetter” sounding than the Liberty 2 Pros… but I actually prefer it. The bass is FAR superior sounding than the Pros – even without LDAC. The highs still come through nicely and with a little EQ tuning on my Samsung phone I am beyond impressed…
The noise cancellation is really solid as well. A huge benefit for me when I take my next trip on a plane.
Overall I’m giving these a perfect score 10/10 for me, my ears and my preferences.
Great job, Anker!
Klare Kaufempfehlung!
First impressions were very good. At last a pair of earbuds that stay in my ears! Brilliant design, both ergonomically and technically, and great sound. Unfortunately I’m on my third pair as a result of the first 2 pairs falling apart. You have to be very delicate with them. I do have to say though the customer service has been excellent. I purchased at 90 but for 67 a great buy. Just be delicate handling.
Firstly the rotatable hooks are great as they allow for the earbuds to fit into the case better and make the case smaller. They hold the earbuds in my ear better then any other earbud I’ve tried and allow me to feel confident in wearing them that they won’t fall out and get lost at all.
The noise cancelling is great, stops me being distracted while listening to music and playing games.
The transparency could do with being a little louder as it is a bit of a struggle to make out what people are saying while wearing them, however the feature does work.
The battery life is excellent, I’m yet to see them drop below 50% and have used them for multiple hours straight with noise cancelling enabled.
They also come with plenty of silicon bits to help them fit any type of ear, they are so soft you could probably use one’s that are too big without even noticing.
They have an app, which is very simple to use and works very well, it allows some customisation of the buttons on the earbuds as well as allowing you to see which mode you are on and switch between them
The microphones sound as good as a regular phone on calls.
The sound quality is fantastic, it’s a bit bassy but not too bassy and you can alter the sound balance on the app. There are multiple preset options including a bass boost so you can customize them to you.
Ultimately if you need secure fitting earbuds then these are great as the hook and silicon options will allow them to fit nearly every ear. They sound fantastic, the microphone quality is great and they have all the features of more premium earbuds at a lower cost. Highly recommended. 🙂
Klare Kaufempfehlung.
At this price point, these earphones represent excellent value for money. Sound quality is very good with a strong bass, but still giving you clear vocals. Comfort is where these really excel, they are incredibly light to the point where you can hardly feel them on your ears, if it wasn’t for the sound pouring into your ears, you would not know they were there. The earhooks also make them very hard to fall out or even come loose.
If it has one slight flaw, its that the buttons don’t feel very responsive, this is not a deal breaker however as I never had a problem getting all the controls to work.
I should point out that just over a month of use, I did have a problem with the right earphone, the sound dropped off considerably. It was just passed the Amazon return point, so I contacted Soundcore directly and they replaced them at no charge. Now I have an excellent set of working earphones which I thoroughly recommend.
Having used the Spirit X2 for a few years I was hesitant to change to a new model. However the Sport X10 have impressed me a lot. The noise cancellation allows me to hear my music without having to set the volume as high as before and the folding ear hooks greatly reduce the need to adjust them mid session.
If you’re looking for a set of earbuds that are comfortable, secure, and have a fantastic sound palette, then look no further than the X10s.
Ultimately I use them for running, and they do not disappoint. They stay securely in the ear – I’d wager they’d even survive a good mosh pit, if pushed to the test! – and they place no pressure either on the inner ear canal or outer ear, which tends to be the case with other earbuds on the market. The hook clasp is extremely secure and, contrary to what others have said, not remotely fiddly or fragile. Rather, the clasp is both flexible – as it needs to be to suit a range of ears – and robust, so there are no worries here.
The sound palette is astonishing too. I count myself as a bit of an audiophile and like to try my hand at music production every so often. While these earphones are not suitable for this – they have an additive bass tone that would get in the way of production – they are perfect for any song or piece you try them on. Remember: if you don’t like the Soundcore signature sound that comes with the app – which is bass heavy – you can always change this and choose something that sounds your tastes, so you aren’t confined to a bass heavy track profile.
As far as connectivity goes, I haven’t experienced a single problem. X10s connect flawlessly to my MacBook and Samsung mobile phone; and as yet I haven’t experienced a drop out in sound. The battery life is also fantastic, giving you many hours of playback during the day before you even think of charging them; and as the case packs quite a few charges, you won’t have to worry when they eventually run out of juice.
So all in all, a very well designed and executed product, worthy of five stars.
At first I saw some bad reviews that made be skeptical but when I got them the sound quality was amazing I dont even need to put the sound much past half way on my phone for it to block out the sound of the gym and to hear the music at the perfect volume compared to my old earphone which had to be almost on full volume. Tiny and compact durable, long lasting and you dont have to use the ear loops all the time if you dont want to
(highly recommend)
Researched for ages for some decent Bluetooth headphones. These are the ones! The base is unreal! I love the easy change from noise cancelling to transparent or normal sound. I run a lot and these aren’t going anywhere, light and fit perfectly around my ear. Happy custome
Sound quality is top notch and it truly does fit securely on the ears.
So i thought I’d drop a review on the X10’s as I’m sure there are others keeping an eye on these, and because I’ve gathered enough thoughts on the buds.
Firstly, being that they are specifically for sports being sports earbuds, they fit very well, and securely thanks to their hooks. This is highlighted by the fact that my soundcore life p3’s would consistently drop out during a run on the treadmill, whereas these stay snug throughout, though I sometimes push them back in for no other reason than because I’ve adapted to earbuds just slowly coming out of my ears when I’m running. I’m sure I’ll adapt to these quickly. I don’t even bother wearing the p3’s anymore as I actually find the X10’s to be more comfortable. Fit and comfort would be a solid 5 from me.
Hybrid ANC: works alright nothing to write home about but it is somewhat effective in being able to cut out humming noises particularly. They’re decent enough as to cut off the woeful music they seem to play at the gym. The transparency mode isn’t great unfortunately, the p3’s are definitely better here, but I mostly don’t value the feature that much. ANC for the price is a satisfactory 3/5
Sound quality: now whilst I don’t claim to be an audiophile I have come across many many earbuds and headphones from across the price spectrum, and these earbuds are ok, certainly fine for sports, as I don’t focus too much on the accuracy of the sound. With the soundcore signature preset, the lows are rather overemphasised, I’m sure it’s not a problem for bass heads out there, but it can prove to be overwhelming with songs where there is a lot of movement elsewhere and not just bass. Highs are reasonably well controlled but not as sharp as the p3’s. Again at the price point, I could arguably be nit picking here, especially when you have a eq at your disposal within the soundcore app. I like to benchmark a lot of products to my KOSS KC75’s which cost me 29 and I have found for audio specifically, these Sports X10 earbuds aren’t for audio enthusiasts to be perfectly honest. The Bass reducer preset more accurately reflects the artists intention of said piece of music so I tend to keep that EQ mode on. At least that’s what I value. Music preferences are subjective so I won’t dive too much here. Sound quality for the price and EQ adjustments: 4/5
Sound quality generally: 3/5
Price point: At 89.99 they start to get rather expensive and I’m not quite sure whether I’d get these specifically, but at the offer price or 69.99 they are decent.
Price at RRP performance: 3.5/5
Price on offer performance: 4/5
Thanks for reading!
Great base, comfortable – have not slipped/fallen out
Noise cancellation is reasonably ok but it’s worth the sacrifice for the great base and comfo
lightweight, stylish, fairly good sound and simple to use. The left ear doesn’t fit very well.
These are a replacement for earbuds that would fall out of my ears. The little hook on each bud makes all the difference to it staying in with no chance of it falling out. The sound quality is decent and each earbud has a button to increase/decrease the volume. The case doesn’t have wireless charging which is why it’s only 4 stars.
Also hier der letzte Versuch….
Positiv:
Also evtl. nicht verwenden)
– Sound
Fazit:
So, genug gelabert 😉
I bought this so that they fit to my ear in the gym. The sound is loud but not amazing. It feels more like noise. The fit is good but it’s hard to take off each time you want to talk to someone and the ambient noise isn’t great. Physical buttons are good to prevent accidental presses but the buttons are small and on top of the earbuds.
I would say go for the Liberty 3 Pros. Thats what i kept after buying both.
Top class customer service. I am very satisfied with replacement. Thanks
Get the App. Wow what a difference in power. My initial impressions was they are very similar to my Google pixel buds in power… Until I got the app, wow these are strong, I don’t need to max volume on these at all after I got the app. They sound great, the piano setting sounds good in the app, I didn’t feel like I got an ear beating. Another reviewer posted as custom setting which sounds amazing but I felt the highs exhausted me ears after a while, I have yet to alter his settings to my comfort but they sound really good as well. Case is cool, battery im sure is good. Color looks nice.
Some cons for me that stood out are the auto stop and play doesn’t exist. They’re not as carefree to use as the pixel buds when taking them in and out. Also, the 10mm drivers make the bud a little chunky to get inserted deep into the ear, I prefer a smaller 6mm driver but not a big deal at all. The hooks are nice, I don’t see many people not liking them due to fit and comfort, yes they may take some getting used to handling them at first but I don’t see it a big problem. I haven’t ran in them yet so I’ll update this review after some time.
Product arrived partially DOA; review updated after issue was resolved.
The app is fine, sound is decent for the price. I unboxed the product and updated the firmware upon setup as prompted.
The fit on the earbuds is interesting, I couldn’t get a strong isolating seal with any of the included tips and I think it’s because the body of the earbuds themselves won’t let me get the tips further into my canals. This is actually fine for me because my ears get irritated easily, so they’re more comfortable. The hooks don’t anchor firmly over my ears and the earbuds do jostle a tiny bit as I move, but they never actually get loose and tend to actually settle back to the right positions so I don’t have to adjust them at all.
The controls are buttons, which I like, because they’re harder to accidentally trigger.
The sound quality is pretty typical for this price range, nothing stellar, but definitely not terrible. I’m using them with AAC on a new Samsung phone. The bluetooth latency is very minimal. The EQ in the app is pretty good but the buds themselves trim a bit off the higher end which is expected.
The lack of isolation does mean the ANC isn’t working very well for me. It also introduces a bit more hiss than I expected and compresses the signal quite a bit, more so than on my headphones from the same brand.
I didn’t get an opportunity to use them on a phone call. The “wind noise reduction” feature is a manually toggled setting in the app.
However, when I put the earbuds back into the charging case, the left one didn’t seem to connect; the case lights tell you if each bud is connected. Upon fiddling with it I got it to at least light up by closing the case with both buds inside, opening it (which turns on the earbuds), taking the broken one out, and putting it back in. But that didn’t solve the issue, it’s not actually charging. The left bud now turns off immediately after turning it on (via opening the case or holding the button).
I’ve started a support process with the manufacturer through their US website and I expect this issue to be resolved, but I decided it was important to leave my review in case anyone else has the same problems, since it’s hard to predict if you’ll receive a product with a defect. I’ll update my review after resolution.
Update: Support was very prompt, they asked for a photo/video of the charging connections on the buds, sent me a packing label for a return, and overnight shipped me a (working) new replacement pair. They also said if I had trouble returning the old pair to have them recycled. 4 for buds, +1 for support.
My long term relationship with my beats recently ended when the ear hook broke after 3 years. Needless to say I was back playing the field to find the new perfect relationship for my listening needs. I stumbled across these after several days of endless surfing and was at the point of realizing I would either need to cough up a few hundred dollars to meet my listening needs or sacrifice what I wanted for a more budget friendly earphones. When I came across these and saw the reviews I was impressed but also skeptical so I began scouring websites to find as many reviews from different resources as possible. I searched for positive, negative and neutral reviews and in the end decided the price was worth trying them out. Wow….WOw…WOW!!! These blew me away and far exceeded every hope and expectation. They sound better than my Beats, are 10x more comfortable and I love the presets you can choose from. I’ve seen reviews that address sound quality, noise cancellation and heavy bass and all I can say is “take the time to research” things that can either make or break these potentially fatal flaws. The equalizer makes a HUGE difference as well as knowing what size ear buds you should be using. The X10 Sports come with 5 sizes to choose from. XS, SM, MED (the one already on the set when unpacking) LG & XL. Research how the sizes can impact your listening experience and I guarantee you’ll be shocked, impressed and oh so pleasantly surprised to realize you really can get phenomenal sound with a sports earbud that’s comfortable and oh so freaking affordable! Absolutely AMAZING!
These are by far the best earphones I have ever used they look absolutely stunning and the bass is to die for there is an app to get for them for those who don’t know and you can tune them to how you like so no bass for those who don’t like i
Pros
1. Super comfortable and secure fit. I can wear these all day with no discomfort and you can do gymnastics and they wouldn’t fall out… I’m assuming this – I don’t do gymnastics. I prefer these over Beats Powerboats Pro.
2. Good app support with lots of options and ability to update earbuds.
3. ANC mode really enhanced audio.
4. Ambient mode sounds very natural with no white noise like other earbuds I’ve used.
5. Great design to come up with a sport earbud with over ear wings that fit in a small charging case.
6. I like the small buttons over touch sensors that are activated by accidental touches, but I’d prefer if their location was 180 degrees from current placement so you could activate them with thumb rather than index finger.
Cons
1. Single click left/right locked at volume up/down. I want 1 click to play/praise and 2 clicks for next/previous and press/hold for volume up/down, but no option to remain single click. Apps for other less expensive apps provide more options.
2. When using both earbuds, there are no options to launch voice assistant, but there is when using single earbud. This is just dumb! Come on, Soundcore!
3. Although people in the other end of a call can hear your voice clearly, it is way over processed and not at all natural sounding. How people that have normal hearing to tune the mics. I don’t want people on the other end of my call to think I’m calling from the International Space Station.
4. ANC on and off doesn’t sound any different until you start playing music… That’s not active noise cancelling, that audio enhancement. I want to hear a difference when I’m not playing anything and I turn ANC on…
5. No reason at this price they can’t have Qi wireless charging.
Overall, these are great sounding sport earbuds, but some of the software decisions just don’t seem well thought out … and I’m a big Soundcore fan and have purchased several other of their earbuds. So, I don’t have an axe to grind; they just made some bad decisions!
Like most folks I have been on a quest to find the perfect set of earbud-type headphones for me. I have tried so many I have lost count. Most of them were very good as far as sound; they just didn’t stay in my ears when I moved my head even a little. And anything that had an over-the-ear hook got in the way of my glasses.
When Anker came out with these my husband bought me a pair on Prime Day. He figured if I didn’t like them he would try them. Well, he is not getting them. They are comfortable in my ear when wearing for longer periods of time. They do not fall out. They work fine with my glasses.
I mostly use them when I exercise. When I work with my trainer I keep one of them in and paired to the iPad for my workout. He can hear me just fine when I have music blasting from a bluetooth speaker close by. When I work on my own I use both of them and listen to music.
I am not an audiophile by any means. I listen to mostly 80s music when I exercise and classical music when I want to relax. The sound on these is fine. I have not tried using the app to adjust the sound. I also do not use the transparency mode. And since I mostly listen to music, I don’t use the buttons on the earbuds either.
It seems like the battery life is pretty good. I have not managed to run them down yet. And I think I have charged the first case a few times.
I now own three pair of these – one in each color – so I can keep each set paired with a particular device. They did get a little weird when I tried to change devices. And it would be nice if they had multipoint, but my over-the-ear headphones that use during the day at work do that just fine instead.
I’ve tried a couple of different true wireless products lately. The Cambridge Audio 1+ sounds good, is well priced, but one earbud failed after a couple of weeks and the set up process is such a pain that I couldn’t face getting a replacement set. And a Panasonic set that sound decent, good noise cancelling, but they just don’t stay in the ears. These ones are better. Is the sound as good? Not really, it’s a bit bass heavy (as befits a gym focused product). The noise cancelling is also not quite as good. But they are comfortable and secure, and the Soundcore app makes set up easy. So I will stick with these.
I have used many of these Bluetooth small earphone styles for running and general around the lawn type use. Most all have either been uncomfortable, break quickly from my sweat, and don’t seal out sound from the lawn mower or wind on my bike or they fall out to easy. These are extremely comfortable and they stay in place. The band that goes over my ear is not floppy but it gives enough that it doesn’t hurt even after wearing it for hours. The design also allows the ear piece to actually seal off my ear enough that I can hear some bass and less of the ambient noise around me. I use these while mowing or riding my bike so I appreciate that. They also remain in place. So yea. I have tried a ton of these on Amazon and these are the real deal. A little more expensive but in this case I got what I paid for….oh and also some of the other ones were not easy to pair with my phone or one would pair and the other was a pain. These paired right up easy and seem to charge more reliably. So again..I’m happy. I will update this if that changes but they seem great for now and I have sweat in them quite a bit by now.
I am an avid runner and love to listen to my music when I am out running and have been looking for a pair of earbuds that will stay secured while I am running so I purchased the Soundcore Sport X10 earbuds and have been EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THEIR PERFORMANCE!!
SECURITY OF EARBUDS WHILE RUNNING
The wrap around ear hooks work perfectly and have kept the earbuds secure during EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY RUNS since I have purchased them. They are so easy to put on and you barely notice the ear hooks when you are wearing them. There is one very slight drawback that I have experienced, in that when I really get into an intense workout and I am sweating rather profusely I have noticed that the sweat at times will follow along the ear hooks and drip inside my ear. It doesn’t happen all the time and isn’t a major drawback for me but I thought was worth mentioning.
SOUND QUALITY
The earbuds advertise as being very bass heavy to keep you motivated during your workouts and they are right. If you keep the Soundcore Signature setting on with the BassUp activated the bass definitely kicks some butt!! Even when using the very bass heavy sound the earbuds remains clear no matter how loud you play them. I tend to listen to most of my music in the 80 – 90% volume range and they still sound great. I love that you can customize the equalizer and I have created my own custom setting that reduces a little of the bass and pumps up the treble that seems to curtail to the hard rock playlist that I usually listen to. Additionally, the app offers about 15 – 20 different pre-built equalizer settings that you can use for various types of music (Acoustic, Podcast, Classical, Deep, Etc.) if you don’t want to create you own customized setting.
OVERALL RATING
BATTERY LIFE
The battery life on these earbuds is as advertised. I use my earbuds 5 to 6 times a week for a few hours at a clip and still haven’t totally drained the charge in the case. I usually only charge the case once or twice a month.
AMBEINT NOISE
If you are using the Ambient settings when you are indoors they work perfectly. If you want to listen to your music and also be able to hear someone that is talking to you the Transparency Mode works great for that purpose. My office has a window AC Unit that runs about 10 feet away from where I work that is pretty noisy. If I put in my earbuds and put on the Noise Cancellation mode I can’t really hear the noise from the AC unit. I did try the Transparency mode when I was running so that I could hear approaching cars and was a little disappointed in their performance (reason I took a star away on the rating). I found that most of the ambient noise that they let in was from the wind whistling in the earbuds as i was running. I didn’t hear most of the cars that were driving around until they were already on top of me. The ambient noise definitely took away from the quality of the sound when I was outside, so I just keep them in Normal mode and they work perfectly.
So this is probably my 15th pair. All in varying price points from 25 to 140.
I work out and use them for commuting (use a single while cycling) so tend to replace them here and there.
For the price, these are amazing. Also supported by the app which makes them easy to adjust controls.
Sound, fit, ease of use and so far battery life all rock.
The putting them into case is fiddly but you get used to it.
Get them, you’ll love them.
Btw the ambient sound bit is crap but all earbuds suck at it.
As you can tell all features fittings and finishes match the price point but as a gym and workout buds its hard to get better for under 100. So what could be better? The Noise cancellation is just ok it works but I have had better from anker. Second on the LG V50 smart phone the volume feel a tad low even at max.
But the sound is good and punchy the battery lasts well over whats needed and the charge case againg works better than needed so very happy. Also the sweat dust and water rating means they should last even the harderst workouts.
If you need a pair of reliable and great sounding headphones for the gym, these are just the ticket! They sit securely in my ear throughout my workout, with little to no adjustments needed to keep them there. The sound quality is very good. If, like me, you were raised on a soundstage similar to that of Beats Headphones, you will love these. Very base heavy but maintaining good highs for vocals, I’m personally a big fan. The Soundcore app is pretty good for adjusting the sound and controls too.
Only one drawback for me – the eartips don’t seem to be fully sized, in that if you opt to change them for non-Soundcore ones they don’t fit in the charging case. The eartips provided are ok – but can give your ear canal a bit of fatigue after an hour or so. I tried changing these for Beats tips, but this didn’t work in my experience, although other branded tips may fit. My advice to combat this is to not press them too far into your ear, this will avoid any fatigue and they are still very secure due to the ear loop.
Overall, a great pair of headphones at a very fair price.
First a bit about the product itself before the story about the amazing customer service:
– Sound quality is good and the app is good. I love the customizable EQ. There are presets, but you can easily roll your own.
– They’re comfortable for up to a few hours, after which you may need to take them out for a few minutes. Works well, since that’s about when they’d need to be charged in the case anyway.
– I can go days without charging the case, even though I use my earbuds a lot during work.
– The retention band that goes around the ear is both very comfortable and very effective. I have no fear of losing these during exercise (racuetball is usually a guaranteed way to eject earbuds) like I do with other “sport” earbuds.
Now, for the spectacular part: The customer service.
When I first ordered these – the very week they were released – there was a bug affecting my phone that caused the audio/video sync to be very far off. It made videos unwatchable.
When I reached out to customer support, they gave me clear instructions to reproduce the issue, some fixes that could’ve helped (but didn’t), and then forwarded my issue to their engineering team.
Within 2-3 weeks, the engineering team had figured out the issue and prepared a fix.
The customer support rep reached out to me again, asked for the serial number on my earbuds, and pushed an early version of the fix *specifically for me to test out.* They pushed a firmware update just for me, I clicked the firmware update button in the soundcore app, and voila, problem fixed. Earbuds work perfectly and I have zero complaints.
This is absolute top class service. I was a fan of Anker/Soundcore before this, as they make good stuff, but this is beyond any level of support I’ve received for any product, ever.
Bravo, Soundcore. Keep doing what you’re doing. Easy 5 stars. I’ve never reviewed a product on Amazon before, but this more than deserved a writeup.
Let me start by saying these headphones are really good, they have huge potential. However there are a couple of flaws which are starting to annoy me. Firstly, the depth of the ear tips are not the same as typical silicone ear tips, they are shorter and don’t sit as far into your ear canal. For me personally this is causing an issue keeping a good in ear seal which is needed for audio quality and ANC. Its fine when stationary but if I start to run or work out, it will loosen the seal in my ear and the audio sounds horrible obviously causing me to constantly have to push them back in my ear. I’ve tried every ear tip included and identified that as the issue. At first I thought okay no problem, let me use an eartip from another pair of headphones i know will fit. The problem with this is the case will not close properly when using other eartips even a couple of mm more in depth. First pair i tried the case doesnt click shut but the headphone does make contact with the magnet prongs inside the case and sort of close (but it can pop open if you move it). Second pair i tried from my old powerbeats fit amazing but then the ankers wouldn’t even make contact with the charging prongs in the case. This issue alone is making me want to send it back and just get another pair of powerbeats but for the price i dont know if i can.
Secondly, the earhooks are a bit fiddly but im used to them now and its not that bad. I can appreciate it makes them allow for the case to be compact which is good. Please anker make the case a few mm taller to allow for third party eartips thank you.
I run a lot outside but have a problem that due to the shape of my ear virtually every in-ear headphone tends to fall out regardless of make or price. So I need either over-ears or in-ears with an ear-hook.
I prefer in-ears with ear-hooks like the Anker X10 and already had good previous experience with the Soundcore Arc a few years ago.
Here’s my experience after two runs outside:
Positive:
+ tight fit right out of the box (with medium ear-tips, 5 sets provided from XS-XL)
+ IPX7 rating
+ very compact carrying box which is protected against accidental opening by a button but can still be opened with one hand
+ more than enough battery time (~8 hours from single charge)
+ very light
+ immediate and problemless pairing (recognised as a pair, often you you get L and R separately)
+ immediate Software update (to V1.69) when first connecting to Soundcore App
+ Bluetooth 5.2 and Wind Noise reduction that actually works
+ USB-C (but no wireless charging)
+ good sound quality and volume (I know that is subjective)
Neutral
– ear hook seems flimsy/point of weakness and could break
– buttons on ear pieces don’t give a proper tactile feedback
– no wireless charging of case
– no real ANC but that can also be dangerous when running outside
Negative
– playback doesn’t stop automatically when removing in-ears
Conclusion:
The Soundcore X10 are the best sport earphones I have had to date and will hopefully accompany me for a long time.
Really happy with these headphones, purchased for running. Been using them for about 5 weeks now. I literally tried about 8 different earbuds, ones more expensive than these. None of them were secure in my ears when running and always felt like they were gonna fall out. No problems at all with this design. The sound settings can be adjusted in the soundcore app which makes a big difference to the sound quality. Like them so much that I feel like buying another pair just in case they discontinue this desig
These are super lightweight and comfortable for all day listening. Sound quality is really nice and customisable with the app.
Had problems with cabled headphones getting the way during my morning jogs. My ares would catch the cable and easily pull out of my ear. So I opted for a wireless sport headphone which would stay fitted all through my run but also have great sound. I found the over ear clip gave great and comfortable support and kept the earbuds in place. Great sound and base for a compact package with noise cancellation all at a very competitive price. I could have gone for more expensive brands but why risk loosing them when these Soundcore work perfectly for the jogging with added benefits of being water and sweat proof.
I bought these for running as I needed the ear hook. A bit pricey but, that hook was the hook (heh).
However, on my first run out, I took them off at the end and immediately dropped them onto tarmac. Cue one scratched end plate (the bit with the logo on it). I was surprised by two things: 1) how easily they were damaged; and 2) that they weren’t made entirely from plastic. Anyway, filled the scratch in with a sharpie so not the end of the world.
The active noise cancelling on these (which they do have, despite the comparison tables on here saying they don’t) does generate a bit of a hiss and a loss of frequency response. Yet to determine how effective it is. I did see an option for wind noise cancellation in the associated app (which is good but requires yet another online account for some reason…) but have since lost it.
I’m still working on customising the button actions via the app to find something that suits me, but glad that there’s a great deal of customisable actions – singe tap, double tap, or long tap, left or right – so that’s six controls. I bit surprised that there are actual buttons on the top of each bud: was expecting the (aforementioned now scratched) end plates to be touch sensitive, but they’re not.
My budget for truly wireless earbuds with ANC (the only way to go for earbuds) is around $80. That’s a lot of features to ask for at this price. But Anker has risen to the challenge with their SoundCore Sport X10. I own three other SoundCore models, the P3i, the Life A1, and the Life D2. All are good base models, but the Sport X10 is a genuine leap forward in technology and design.
1) Superior sound: Anker’s marketing department claim superior sound, especially bass, through newly designed sound generating components. On top of that, there’s a feature that justifies the purchase of the X10 on its own: the SoundCore App, a free download for iOS or Android. This app contains a graphic equalizer that really works, and you can create your own custom settings. Other cool features of the app include breathing exercises to get you ready for your workout; three choices for ambient sound: Normal, Noise Cancellation (that really works); and Transparecy, which filters out clutter and helps the human voice to come through — ideal for iPhone calls, which are of excellent sound quality for both parties. And finally, the app enables you to revise the button controls to you liking. (The button controls are a weak part of this product: they are too small and lack a “click” that informs you the command has been accepted. But they are not a deal breaker.
A tip to ensue maximum sound quality: be sure the eartips are nestled snugly in your ear canals. If you let them dangle from the ear loops, you will lose half the sound quality.
2. Superior fit: I have a terrible time with buds falling out of my ears, especially the right one. Anker have come up with an ingenious solution: super-soft, pliable and foldable ear hooks that suspend the weight of the buds from you ear, so the ear tips are ideally positioned for best sound and are far less likely to fall out. Once again, after you’ve fitted the loop around you ear, nestle the ear tip snugly in your ear canal for best sound quality.
3) Beautiful case: These are the first earbuds I am able to store completely in the compact case. Just fold the ear hooks and pop them in. My other earbuds require foam ear tips so they will stay in my ears, and those eartips are too large to fit in their cases. The Sport’s unique design means I need not mess around with foam eartips.
Battery life is not as good as claimed. I get about six hours of playback time. The quick charge feature helps with this. If my battery discharges I switch to one of my three backup SoundCore earbuds while the Sport charges. I’m already spoiled by this significant new model, and if it holds up, the Sport X10 is a great sounding solution for active wearers, and fantastic value for the money.
The sound quality is very good but quite bass heavy out of the box. I found it easy to tweak in the app. Noise cancelling is OK, just about does the job especially combined with the wind noise setting being switched on. They are comfortable and secure with the ear loops. Pairing was straightforward as is charging with the USB C cable.
I am giving them 4 stars because the buttons are small, fiddley and for me, would be impossible to use with gloves on.
Unboxing:
Aufladen & Anschluss:
Weiter so…
I saw these newly launched ear buds from Anker/Soundcore and immediately purchased as they had everything I was looking for based on past experience.
Most ear buds fall out of my ears when engaging in physical activity at the gym etc. so have found that for sport use you really need some with ear hooks. The problem then was that ear hooks heavily restricts the product range and so compromises have to be made on sound quality, lack of noise cancellation and things like physical buttons. When engaged in a workout with hot sweaty paws, the touch control ear buds just don’t function in a positive or satisfactory way.
These by contract are great. Nice tactile silicon ear hooks, noise cancellation which works well and a physical buttons on each bud to control basic functions (do wish Anker could add Google/Amazon assistant control though).
Sound quality is also good with plenty of range, detail and bass. The final thing that makes it a great product is there is a physical grip around the edge of the bud which makes extraction/insertion easy when someone’s trying to converse!
Only minor negative which is a little surprising for a new product is the lack of wireless charging as this doesn’t appear to be supported (only a USB C jack).
Recommended for you physical types!
