Looked at a lot of scooters before picking this one. We have a lot of hills in Devon so wanted brakes, also a few (!!) uneven pathways, so larger wheels important too. Great scooter all round, easy to assemble unless you are being badgered by a 6 year old with no patience 🙂
The materials are very solid and heavy duty, I have chosen a good company for my son birthday gift, he is very happy to see this, if company provide a star key tool in the box so it will be more satisfactory for custome
This scooter is really brilliant in any terrain. Only minus here is the back mood flap… Its really flimsy.
Item arrived with no damage or missing parts, firmly packed. Box size 100 x 48 x 14 cm. Scooter is bulky and heavy, you must realize it will make some troubles to transport it, will be difficult to accommodate it in the small sedan’s boot. It is well balanced – easy to lift it up and carry over the road border or other obstacle, just lift it up holding the steering wheel and it stays parallel to the road. Positive side (and main reason why I bought it) it has comfortable and soft ride because of inflatable tyres. Generally I am happy with it and giving 5 stars, it is our second that size scooter and I bought this type deliberately. But I want to notice few things, could be missing by ordinary customer:
1. Front wheel bearings – found overtightened so wheel wasn’t spinning free enough. Counter nut on the wheel shaft was overtightened as well, conical nut flats damaged, spanner wasn’t going in firmly. After bearings released, wheel is spinning freely, but still not smooth. I am going to check conical nut and bearings after summer season and change if necessary. Have to do the maintenance yearly anyway. Also wheel is unbalanced, have to put 15g weight to balance it up.
2. Rear wheel bearing just a bit tight, left it as it is.
3. Steering column – you have to put it in and secure with allen key. Just an advice to put some grease at the end to eliminate seized parts in the future.
4. Kickstand – There is no chance to put it on by foot, also plastic end comes off easily. And scooter is not secure on it if the surface is not absolutely straight. But the good point is it’s under the footboard so it can’t be catching by foot. But catching by bigger road imperfection as scooter wheelbase is quite long.
5. Mud guards – Some customers mentioned it catching up the wheel tyre. Really there is no problem, just bend the bracket a bit. It should be wider than 90 degrees, can do it by hand. Rear one wish to be bigger/longer. I doubt it will protect from spraying mud and dirt when passing through the paddles.
6. Forward brake wire protection sleeve – damaged, somebody just forced it through and made a hole in it. Not a big deal, but shouldn’t be like that. Brakes ok, don’t panic they are not braking straight away, give them a bit of time to line in and then adjust. 1 riding hour was enough for us, then the tension increased a bit and ok.

Very happy with this scooter for my 9 nearly 10 year old looks very sturdy You can make the handle bars smaller for younger age maybe 5 year old plus scooter tyres came pumped up all you had to do was fit the front mud guard and front wheel easy enough to do and arrived sooner then expected and well packaged
Not happy with the front breaks, they don’t seem to fit properly needs some adjustment. Still a great buy.

My son love this scooter, he’s the only one using this type and he’s proud of it.
No tools supplied to assemble it, had to take to harold to fit it and pay extra charges.
Purchased this for my 6 years old Grandsons birthday. He loves it !!! Really sturdy & he scoots everywhere on it.
Building it was easy, setting up the brakes took a bit to get right. The only real issue was the rear mudguard was a bit flimsy and has cracked. Not a major issue to be honest.
You will need to have decent knowledge of bike maintenance to put it together or take it to someone who does, but once it is built it is fabulous.
You will need to know how to detach the breaks to attach the front wheel and also then line up the break pads and adjust the break cables. You will also need to have the right bike tools to do this and a massive spanner to attach the handle bars. Oh, and a pump for the tyres. I have neither the skill or the tools, so my bike enthusiast father-in-law did this for me.
My 7 year old loves it, especially its versatility on different terrains and the fact that it has proper bike breaks.
He has already been out several times doing jumps and treating it like a bmx.
I just need to get him to use the stand instead of flinging it on the floor!

I found the wheel assembly instructions very difficult to understand despite the fact that I have had many years experience dealing with bicycles. If anything the instructions were TOO comprehensive. I have the following points:-
1. I think that the pictures could have been larger.
2. Removal of the front brake cable was SO difficult despite the picture – this needs re-thinking!
3. In “Scope of Delivery” (strange heading) 1 x screw with washer and nut is mentioned. I could not find this anywhere until, next day, discovered it actually on the scooter! Originally I did not know what the items were for until, on reading the instructions, found that they were for fitting the chain guard. (Why on earth is it called a “chain guard” – there’s no chain on the scooter!). Maybe, when you re-label the heading to something like “Items included” you could add a note with the “1 x screw with washer and nut” to say “For fitting the chain guard” (or .mudguard” as it’s commonly known).
4. Maybe you can also help save the planet by also not including ath instructions in so many languages too!
Such an swesome scooter. Got one each for bith of my biys and they love it. Very sturdy, can go over gravel and grass no problem! Definately worth the money!
My boy is 9 years old and he says that is the best scooter he ever had. Goes easily, all-terrain: sandy beach, grass, woodland rides,rocky paths. Very usefull pneumatic tyres are much better than plastic ones. I feel sorry for the forgotten Globber scooter in the garden:)

Well worth the price (88) lovely well made scooter. The back mud guard can be annoying but had to laugh when the grandson thought it was the brake like on his cousins. My grandson is just over four, he is 4 foot tall with a size one shoe, and this is perfect ofr him and still allows the handle bars to be raised as he grows, so should get a few years out of this.
The build quality is awesome, easy to finishing putting together. We have had this just under a month and the grandson goes to and from school on it, uses it for the park etc… He is on it constantly. Love that it is a BMX scooter, my brothers had them and I find these better scooters than the ones with the plastic wheels.

I bought this for my 10 year old son but was surprised how small it was when I received it. The build quality is good, however the rear mudguard is easily knocked out of place when scooting along. I thought this would be bigger and so slightly disappointed. Age range for the scooter needs to be more clearly defined.
Arrived 3 days earlier than expected, easy to put together and my 9 year old loves it – Brilliant!

Comes fully assembled except for the front wheel…takes 5 mins to do.

Despite some issues shown in the video, I have rated the product highly because it represents excellent value for money and when assembled correctly, I judge that it will last several generations and may well become as collectable as the 1970s Raleigh Chopper bike.
