Very happy with this purchase. The bar makes the ladder feel sturdy. Easy to open and close. Moreover I can store it easily in a corner of my shed

Bought this to gain access to the loft. The stabiliser adds extra safety and gives confidence that it won’t collapse! It’s great in that it’s easy to store in cupboard after use.

I was a little concerned about some of the feedback but took a chance and glad i did! Very sturdy even when extended fully. My husband is 18st and I am 10st & we both feel really comfortable using these ladders. Delivered in good time and well packaged

These are very handy to have, take up very little space compared to a normal ladder so they are great for storing for them occasional times I need a ladder.

A really great quality ladder. The aluminium build makes it light but very sturdy. It’s easy to extend and I have every faith in the locking mechanism on each side. These ladders are extremely solid. This ladder is great as I can keep it in a cupboard. Highly recommended.

Nice solid ladder. Using for loft entry, where installing a loft ladder was not possible, so won’t get heavy usage. Certainly built more abuse that they will get with me. Raise and lower easily and pack away in a limited space, which was important for me.

These step ladders are made from quality steel. They have a lot of weight to them so may be difficult for some people to carry or manoeuvre. But the weight of them just adds to their stability.
The telescopic design moves smoothly and allows for easy storage in smaller spaces. There is also a velcro strap that wraps around the steps to stop them moving when not stretched out.
The ladders stretch pretty far, we were able to get to the roof of the house, and surprisingly they were very stable and didn’t bend much. The stability bar and rubber grips at the bottom helped a lot.
The only issue we found was that if you don’t require the full ladder height you are left with a few steps bunched together either at the top or bottom and it can be very difficult to step the full length of them.
Great quality for the price and I can tell they will last some time.

    Heavy but great!

Good ladder. The only downside is that it’s a little wobbly when fully extended.

My husband has been using these to access our extention roof, they are really easy to assemble and pop up in seconds. They are quite light to carry so i was worried of it holding his weight but he said they feel very stable and hes comfortable climbing them. Hes very happy with the quality and as they are telescopic they save so much space compared to a traditional ladder and even our old step ladder. And i can say being able to fit them straight in the car is really handy too for when we need to go do jobs for my mum. They were left out in the rain for about a week as i had forgotten about them but its caused no damage, rusting or jamming to it being extended.

An excellent ladder and it’s so compact. I’ve been wanting a decent sized ladder for a while now but really didn’t have anywhere to store it, this solves that problem – it’s 3.2M when extended and only 0.8M when fully retracted.

For a telescopic ladder this one feels quite sturdy and it was very stable with my 14.5 stone on it. There is a little bit of assembling to be done before you can use this, that only entails fitting the bottom stabiliser bar and rubber feet, that takes all of a couple of minutes – however, I do think that they should have included flat washers to go underneath each of the stabiliser securing bolt heads and nylock nuts.

You need to be a bit careful when retracting the sections of the ladder, my fingers were nearly caught as it does ‘retract’ quite quickly – it’s probably best to lay it down when putting it away, so that there’s no risk of trapping fingers.

These are great, they do not take up much room for storage and they are so easy to use. The extended motion is very smooth and once up they feel really sturdy, solid as a rock.

Very well made and very good value for money, these ladders are absolute winners.

For certain jobs around the house you can’t get around the need for a ladder. While I had a stepladder, it was a bit beaten up and bent out of shape. It also took up quite a bit of room and so I was looking for a replacement. While I’d not used a telescopic ladder before I determined that one should suffice for the jobs.

As you would expect there isn’t a lot in the box apart from the ladder. Just the stabiliser bar and the parts to attach it to the ladder.

Once assembled the ladder is easy enough to use, sliding the sections up to the required length.

When stored the ladder also takes up less space than the stepladder it has replaced.

Great tool for getting on with jobs in and out of the house

Fantastic purchase! I’ve been after a step ladder for a while. This being the reason as I haven’t got the space to store a larger ladder… Then I come across this. It needed a little assembly but nothing too difficult. And when it’s collapsed it’s virtually the same size as a 3 step step ladder.
It’s easy to open and close. It does have a weight limit of 300ib which I think is incredible really given its a telescopic design.
    Brilliant buy!!

Me and my partner are not on the small side and needed some ladders that would hold our weight these are perfect very easy to extend the maximum height is 3.2m.
They come with stabilisers to attach to the bottom of the ladder and a have a strap to keep the steps in place when not in use.
They are abit on the heavy side but that just shows the quality of them we are very happy with these ladders.

    Fantastic quality

I have been wanting one of these for years

This one is brilliant, lightweight (for what it is – of course there is some weight to it) and easy to use

    Very sturdy too

Have already used this at full height extension to put up some lights around my house and felt very safe using this ladder

    Brilliant – highly recommended

We are pleased with this ladder all in all, it will store well and is easy to carry around. Beware of your fingers when opening and closing as it has finger trapping potential. Seems very solid.

Brilliant. Collapses to a small, easily stored size. Extends to a very useful length and, what’s more, is fully rigid and completely strong and safe when extended. We found it very suitable for redecorating our stairwell. This telescopic ladder is easy to use, you just pull each step up until you get to the height you want then it locks into place when you are finished you just press the left and right lever of each step and it will close each step. It is easy to use and displays when the ladder is properly locked in position for use at the length required. The ladder is just as easily collapsed by the simple depression of the locking/unlocking buttons, although care should be exercised to avoid it closing too quickly. Beware the rate it comes down There are warnings on each rung about keeping fingers clear etc and I can see why! All in all, tho, a great piece of kit when room for storage is limited.

    Brilliant.

These telescopic ladders are reasonable, but I’ve had better quality ones.

They are simple to assemble out of the box. You just have to fit the bottom stabilizer bar, which is two bolts & nuts, and fit the protective feet on the end of the bar – easily done.

The ladders erects and collapses easily. When fully erect, it’s quite stable, with just a bit of give as you climb it.

The plastics let these ladders down. The carry handle under the bottom rung isnt well finished and has rough edges (see photo) making it uncomfortable to hold.

The top of telescopic ladders often has a couple of protective caps so the ladder doesn’t scratch whatever it is leant on – these ladders don’t have protective caps.

The plastic levers to collapse rungs arent the best quality either.

    Reasonable telescopic ladde

This telescopic ladder is very good quality and saves so much space! I was wary to begin with when first using this ladder as I have never used a telescopic ladder before and I’m a large gentleman on 19 stone. The ladder is actually very secure and holds my weight perfectly, which is very reassuring. I’m really happy with the ladder and the quality. You do need to set up the ladder and assemble it to begin with but I can tell this is going to last years.

This collapsible step ladder is fast becoming one of those things I wonder how I’ve managed without all those years. I do have a three section extendable ladder but it is such a struggle to get it out of the shed that I tend to let some jobs wait till I have a burst of enthusiasm or my wife notices what needs doing.
This collapsible ladder extends to around ten feet and is adequate for most jobs like gutter cleaning, small fascia repairs or pruning some higher branches.
Out of the box there is a little straight forward assembly of the base bar and rubber feet. It is sturdily built and very easy to store and transport. Extending and collapsing is also simplicity itself. All things considered it is a pretty good bit of kit…recommended.

A useful ladder which is compact.
This ladder reaches upto 3.2 m so is certainly tall enough to reach most 1st floor windows or domestic stairways.
The ladder itself is made from aluminium and therefore pretty light weight considering the height it reaches. As this is a telescopic ladder it folds down pretty neatly making it great to transport in the boot of a standard sized car if needed rather than strapping to the roof rack.
The base of the ladder has a stabiliser, however this is just simply an extended bar that attaches the the base of the ladder and bolts in position. There were no instructions showing assembly so just looked at pictures on amazon to work it out.
The biggest issue with the ladder is the release mechanism. Each time you lift a rung it it locks into place and so on up the ladder. It’s a simple slide catch, but when you let the ladder down, mind your fingers as there is nothing stopping the ladder from dropping instantly on your fingers if your not careful, a slight safety flaw.
The price of the ladder is more expensive than others I have seen but is certainly lightweight and easy to use.

    Careful of fingers when lowering

These extending telescopic ladders which collapse down to a fantastic size for easy storage are superb quality, sturdy and unbelievably lightweight.
I’d say the price of just under 90 (at time of review) is about the right price for these.
They are well made, easy to extend and collapse and feel just as sturdy as a normal ladder. I felt totally safe ascending and descending these and I’m not a huge lover of heights tbh but felt fine going up and down them.
The treads have grooves for good grip underfoot and the runners are large diameter tubular runners.
Being made from lightweight aluminium these won’t rust and are very strong.
At 3.2metres these are long enough for me to be able to get onto our extension roof safely and will be perfect for when I clean the 1st floor windows 🙂
They collapse down and take up less space than my step stool and step ladder lol.
The bottom stabiliser bar which you need to attach with a couple of bolts supplied gives added safety when using.
Raising and lowering each section is easy, simply pull up each section and when you hear a solid click then you’ll know that that section has secured in place, you’ll also see that the release buttons either side of each rung will have a symbol of a locked padlock to affirm that the section is locked in. To lower you push the 2 x release buttons inwards and that section will collapse down into the tubular runners and you’ll see next to the release buttons an unlocked padlock symbol. Be careful when collapsing each section though, that you don’t get your fingers in the way as they slide back into place, I’d suggest holding each sections tread and lower it down slowly to avoid trapped fingers.
Once it’s collapsed back down there is a strong webbing type band that wraps around the sections to keep the sections together and secures together with velcro.
Warning and safe user labels are ideally placed at the foot of the ladders to give guidance to the end user with more guidance labels on the face of the treads.
These are excellent quality and I’ve been wanting a good set of telescopic ladders for quite some time to use around the home and these are ideal for what I need for home maintenance such as window cleaning, maintaining walls and guttering, getting into the loft, decorating indoors & out and gaining access to the extension roof.
Well made, easy to use, good price and easy to store.

I have been after one of these for a while now, so when the chance came to try one…

First of all, this is no lightweight, however it isn’t ‘heavy’ either. It comes in at 10.8kg (almost 24lbs) and feels very manageable for a ladder. The materials used are top notch and cannot be faulted in any way. It comes with what they refer to as a ‘stabiliser’ but in truth it is a small, yet very useful base – as it extends the width a little plus it gives more traction on the base, making it safer in use.

In use, it feels very stable indeed and me being a large man, this is very important – perhaps that is why I didn’t get one before, because I questioned the stability of the design – also the steps/rungs are comfortable to stand on whilst doing whatever job you are currently using the ladder/steps for.

To extend couldn’t be simpler, just place a foot on the bottom rung and pull from the top. Each step locks into place with two clips that automatically click into place as you extend the ladder. Putting it down after use you just press the two clips holding the step in place, one by one.

Another great benefit is the fact that it takes up little space and can be stored easily.

I can see this being extremely useful and well used. Highly recommended.

I have had a play with this so far, just to test how easy it is to open, close and how stable it all feels. It passes on all fronts. Plus the rubber feet give a good grip on most surfaces. This is light to carry and best of all very easy to store.

3.2m Telescopic Ladder with stabiliser bar

I have to say that I was pleased with the build quality of this extendable ladder when it arrived. I was a little concerned that this may easily bend or collapse due to the many moving parts. But no! this is extremely well made and safe looking. The ladder is constructed of heavy gauge aluminium tubing, along with box sections on the steps. The locking buttons and tube sliders are made from a super tough looking black nylon material. On the base is an attachable stabiliser bar that fits into a slot and is screwed into place. On the rear of each step are two slide buttons for releasing the locking pins.

I often find that my fixed height ladders are way too big for using indoors, step ladders too can also be an encumbrance. With this extendable ladder, it starts off at 80 cm tall and can be extended one section at a time to create the perfect working height.

In use I have been very pleased with this. There is a velcro strap holding the sections together whilst in storage. The ladder folds down so small it takes up very little space, it can easily slide behind a cupboard or under a work bench out of the way. To use, just undo the velcro strap and lift each section from the bottom until the ideal height is reached (3.2 metres max). As you pull each section up the locking pins snap into place. Even at the fully extended length this is very stable indeed, there isn’t even a hint of wobble or instability. I like that the upper steps are the same width as the lower steps, unlike some ladders where the steps become smaller the higher you go. I will find this very useful for indoors where I can set the exact height, it will also be ideal for placing just below the gutter on my house which is difficult with a conventional ladder.

I’m impressed with this – Highly Recommended!

This telescopic ladder is really easy to use, you just pull each step up until you get to the height you want then it locks into place, when your finished you just pull back the left and right lever of each step and it will close each step.

When you first receive it you’ve just got to place onto it the foot plate and feet.

It’s light weight and easy to store away.

    I definitely recommend

Bought these to access the loft as my normal ladders were too cumbersome to use. I have to say that these are ideal and when I’ve finished using them they stow away so beautifully. I was a bit concerned about their sturdiness but I have to say they handled my 96kg bulk remarkably well.

I bought this ladder for a job my step ladder couldn’t reach, I can easily carry it in one hand and it can support my 115kg bulk at full extension with no problems. My 50kg wife has no issues extending and housing the ladder as the mechanism has a simple and positive action. Overall a good piece of kit at a good price.
