Whilst this is a reasonably lightweight mower it suffers from a significant design fault. When you pick the mower up by the carrying handle on the main body the handles tip backwards making it significantly unbalanced. Could be quite dangerous if you are not prepared for it.
Used for the first time today & has a real solid feel to this mower and surprisingly cut longish grass on the 2nd setting. Only used 50% charge for about 20 minutes work. So far so good, would recommend.
just as described. Very easy to use and lightweight which is why I bought it as I have arthritis in my hands and shoulders but found this was not affected when using this mowe
Easy to manoeuvre and cuts well. Grass box could be bigger, but ideal for smaller lawns. We have a large garden but bought this to supplement our main mower and help with those ‘hard to get to’ areas around trees and flowerbeds. Works well.
Was easy to put together. I am a 5ft 1in tall woman and I managed okay. I have a small lawn. After about 10 mins the battery had used 1 out of 3 bars showing on the battery. I like that you can see how much power you have left whilst mowing. It’s easy to raise and lower the height and the grass is cut evenly. I would definitely say value for money and quite a sturdy machine.
Ah, the joys of battery powered cordless gardening tools. Not only do you not have to fiddle around with the cable every 5 seconds, but, with the limited battery life, you have the perfect excuse for saying “Well, that’s all I can do for now…”
This is a really good piece of equipment. Pretty sturdy (I haven’t tested it’s survivability…), with a good big steel cutting rotor, it’ll deal with most things you’re supposed to use lawnmowers on. It’ll even cope with flattened aluminium cans hidden in the long grass (not recommended!) It has a good selection of cutting heights depending on how long it’s been since you owned a decent mower, and the battery life is visible as you mow. There is a safety key in the battery compartment to make it safe to clean out the underneath, but, really, is it any easier than removing the battery?
I can see only 3 very small issues:
Assembly requires screwing 4 self-tapping screws/bolts into the plastic body. That needs either a spanner of the correct size (not available) or a large headed cross-head screwdriver (found eventually). Could have been easier.
The grass isn’t compacted very tightly into the collection box. That means emptying it more often than I’d have thought. Not really much of an issue, but it does mean you’ll be cleaning it out underneath more often too, so remember that safety key.
Like a great many gardening tools, powered & manual, it’s designed for someone just a bit shorter than me. I’m just over 6′ tall, not exceptional, but I find when pushing the mower forward, I’m also pushing the back of it down, which raises the front up, making cutting inefficient and jamming it into any divots or ridges in the ground. There is no way to adjust the height, so if you’re unusually tall or short you’ll have to work it out for yourself. I find a careful shove with the toe of my boot on the collection box does the trick.
Overall, though, very happy with this. As I also own a Swift hedge trimmer & strimmer (the latter of which will be relieved to hear it no longer has to cut the whole lawn), I now have 2 batteries to either extend the duration of one tool’s use or use two in one day. I’m not entirely certain that’s a good thing…
This was a replacement for my 37 year old Flymo which was still working but hard work now I’m old !
Assembled easily and have used it twice now. It does the job much faster and easier than the Flymo
and I haven’t needed to charge it again yet.
The only minor issue is that the handle doesn’t tilt like the Flymo, making it a bit harder mowing near
the large shrubs.
Overall, has made a chore much easier ( no 3 extension leads connected end to end ! ) at a very good price.
Moving to a smaller lawn 4 years ago I also moved from petrol to a corded electric mower that still works well. I decided to treat myself to a cordless mower to make life easier and chose this Swift as it has a 40v motor (more power than 18v? – well electric cars seem to go for higher voltage systems for more power!) and is much the same size and weight as the one it replaces. It arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble (including the grass box that some people seem to have trouble with) and the battery 3/4 charged. I gave it a full charge and tried it out on the lawn that was cut last week. On the middle setting it brought the grass back to the same height as the last cut – so down one notch to short and the lowest setting for scalped. Setting is easy with one lever operation. Battery run time seems to be plenty for at least 2 cuts per charge. So far I’m pleased with my (on offer/discounted) purchase – much more expensive than a corded but more convenient (around half the cost is in the battery and charger, if they need to be replaced) and less chance of a careless accident. Swift have a series of tools that use the same battery so a good choice if you’re wanting swapability.
I Purchased this in place of our old petrol lawnmower and also because i have the battery strimmer and i am delighted i did. My partner always maintained our approx 45 ft square garden until he passed away in 2020 but i always found it hard, sore and awkward to use the petrol lawnmower, this lawnmower was easy to assemble and so lightweight in comparison. The battery was already fully charged so i was able to mower the garden right away and i was able to cut the whole garden in approx 20mins and was especially impressed i had only used 2 bars of power on the battery as i had my strimmer battery ready to use as back up but didn’t need it.The 30 litre box did need emptied a couple of extra times but this was no big deal as its easy to clip and unclip back to the machine. So for anyone who struggles with petrol lawnmowers or finds it a pain to be tethered to extension and electrical cords from an electric lawnmower this lil machine is ideal
Bought this to replace my old Qualcast battery mover that I’d had for about 8 years. Only used this once so far and it is heavier than my old one but it does a good job. My lawn isn’t that big and I still had 3 lights showing when I’d finished. Worst part of assembly was the grass box. It took two of do it, the handles were easy. I noticed some reviews stated that you had to remove the wheels to adjust the cutting height but mine came with a lever so I’m very pleased with that. I would definitely recommend this mower. Does a a good job, handle a decent height and easy to clean after mowing.
I’m happy with the product, but more impressive is the customer services.
My battery went faulty and the customer services was professional and sent me a new battery without issue. Very pleased.
Lightweight and easy to start. I hve even struggling with my petrol mower and this is a dream on comparison. The battery life is adequate for me to cut my lawn which is about half the size of a tennis pitch.
The product was easy to assemble out of the box & looks just the job!
Battery charging was straightforward and it fits easily into the mower. Only used once so far, but it seems to be a good mower. I only have one medium lawn so its size and operating time are fine for me. There is a larger version for those with more lawns to mow. Good to use and manoeuvres well, with a good cut. Wide range of cutting heights which are easy to adjust. Very pleased with this purchase.
First time using this but I’m very impressed. Compared to my flymo it did the job in half the time, a far better cut, closer to the edges and no brushing the path after the mess the flymo leaves behind. Very light to manoeuvre too. Looks like the battery will do at least 2 cuts though I don’t have a lot of grass.
I needed a lighter weight mower than the one I have been using this one has been just what I wanted and cut all my grass on one charge which was more than I expected. No lead to trip over so safer to use
Wish we had bought this sooner because lawns can be cut more more quickly and look bette.
Works very well! Easy to assemble and easy to use. Would recommend.
Really easy to use, lawnmower does a great job on top of which it is light weight for putting in the shed. Brilliant for the price I would recommend this if you are someone who just wants to cut your grass quickly but if you are pernickety about stripes and very low grass level this is not for you
It was quite easy to assemble, lightweight and great without having the cord to worry about. It cuts the grass well and there is no limit to how far you need to mow because you are not limited with the extension. There is a light on the mower showing how much power you have left before the battery needs charging. I would recommend this mower, it’s perfect for my garden.
I am not a gardener, and cannot work big and heavy machines. This one is light enough for an older woman to use. It cuts the grass ok. My only slight criticsm is you have to tighten the handles every other use. It has good safety features if you follow the instructions.
What a great product this is! Easy to use and mows brilliantly. Battery lasts long enough for me to do my whole law
Works exactly as it should, charges well, pleased with it for our small garden.
Once charged up very easy to use, a good buy.
We have a petrol mower and I can’t start it with the pull string thing so I wanted something I can use myself without help. Read the reviews and was convinced this was for me. However, the handle is as low down as I had hoped. I’m 5ft 2 and was hoping the handle would be in pram pushing position but I find it’s just as high as any other mower we have had. Like the reviews say if it struggles at any point just pull it through backwards. I have it on the lowest setting to keep the grass neat.
I charged the battery when I received the mower, I have cut the grass about five times and charge in the battery is still half full my lawn is about 40sq meters
As we have a small lawn this lawn mower is ideal for the job and I have not got any issues with the mower as I am able to do father-in-law lawn to on one battery
I bought this lawnmower because I was struggling with our Flymo. I spent hours looking at various different cordless mowers, some of which had eye watering prices. Eventually I chose this one because it seemed to fit the bill.
I cannot say how impressed I am with it. Everything is simple to do. That includes putting the battery in and out, charging it, emptying the grass box and of course mowing the lawn. There are 5 different cutting heights which are easy to change. The lowest one scalped my lawn so I vary between the next two. My lawn has lots of other things growing in it such as daisies, buttercups and clover. It is also not exactly an even surface but the mower copes easily with it. The lawn is roughly 75 square metres and I use less than half the battery.
I also tried it on a steep grass bank at the front of my house which had very tall weeds growing in it. The lawnmower tackled it with ease. Sadly I did not cope so well as it is very steep and awkward.
Yes the battery takes quite a long time to charge but with a small lawn, which gets cut using less than half the charge I don’t see that as a problem. Also I cannot cut as close to the edges as with a Flymo so they require a bit more attention afterwards but that is the closest thing to a negative that I can think of.
In summary it is really easy to use and cuts the mowing time in half because there is no annoying wire to move. The added bonus over a hover mower is that it doesn’t spray grass cuttings all over the paths, so no sweeping up afterwards.
Compact to fit in boot of car, shame was only one battery for two things brought togethe
It’s easy to assemble and looks good and cuts the grass well,( use the handy height adjuster first.
I read the rsviews on this lawnmower and foun tgem confusing, many seemed to refer to being unable to adjust the height or having a short handle, neither of which us the case. I have found it to be a good quality, nwell designed lawnmower and I couldnt fault it. The same is true if the other Swift garden tools I possess.
Good cutting size, easy to use and easy height of cut adjustment.
Fantastic being cordless
Poor cut
Good solid grass box
Would not recommend
First mow of the year, foot high and daffodils, this little mower powered through it all!
Really impressed with Swift tools,I have 3 now so plenty of batteries.
Highly recommended for a small/medium lawn.
The lawnmower is very good although it is a little hard to push but cuts the grass very well. The battery charges very quickly which is good.
This cordless mower arrived unassembled but after a bit of reading it’s fairly straightforward to set up. The mower is almost entirely made of toughened plastic.
The mower blade is sharp and is around a foot wide. The 30 litre grass box is easy to attach and remove, I find. This Swift mower is very lightweight and can be pushed and pulled without great effort. I like how there’s actually a carry handle too which I didn’t realise until I actually received it. Overall, it’s so convenient and easy to use, being cordless. So far, I am completely satisfied. The price/performance ratio for this mower is very good in my opinion. I can adjust it so that I can cut the grass to just a couple of centimetres high.
For larger grass areas, I would recommend getting a spare battery. The batteries are easy to switch.
I also find that in use, it’s not as loud as an electric mower. Overall, I am recommending this mower. It’s a Godsend and very simple to operate.
Very easy to put together in minutes, even for people who have little to no manual skills. Very easy to operate. Good results if intention is to have a simple grass cut. Suitable for small gardens (mine is about 50 m2)
I spent ages choosing which cordless mower to buy, eventually settling on this one because it was being offered at a lower price. I read all the reviews, including negative comments about battery life. It arrived within 24 hours of ordering it, and only required minimal assembly: attaching the lower handle parts. A bit awkward at first but managed it on my own with the assistance of a dining chair to support the top of the handle whilst I seated the bottom end in place. The battery was showing three lights, so i put it on charge overnight to be fully charged for use the following day. The grass box proved more difficult to put together, as they all do, in my experience, and I begged help from a neighbour who did it without any problems. The blade height adjustment is easy, the handle height is just right and the mower cut my minuscule front lawn without showing any battery usage, so I decided to tackle the back, slightly larger area which had grown longer than I would usually leave it. The mower performed well, and was still showing two lights on the battery when I finished. I am really pleased on the whole that I chose this. It’s early days, but so far so good. Slight downside? For me the grass box is not huge, and I had to empty it every two runs, but the grass was very long so that’s probably to be expected.
Great product, easy to assemble, and easy to use. Would recommend to anyone who wants a new cordless lawnmower.
We have a storage unit where the grass surrounding it has been overgrown for a while but not having any power there it was impossible to keep tidy, until now.
This lawnmower comes with a large battery that plug in and runs it cable free for around 20 mins. Plenty of time to keep the grass around our unit trim and tidy, then just remove the battery and charge it when back home, easy.
The battery is completely removable, it comes out of the small plastic see through compartment on the top (this is also where the safety key is hidden) and can be charged completely independently of the mower.
It also has a fold up arm, which is useful when trying to use as little space in our unit as possible and even the back box can be removed when you need to empty it or to create more space too. I personally ran without the backbox on as the mulch being so short now is fine on this grass but if you want to run it it just sits on the back of the mower.
It’s reasonably powerful, especially based on the fact that it is battery powered, but still kicks out a good bit of power (strong enough to flick some stones into chipping the paint of the unit)
Assembly was easy apart from the grass box, I did manage to get it together although it took awhile to work out the best way. I have used it a few times very light and easy to get out of the garage, the grass box is quite large so I could cut the grass without having to empty it part way through.
I purchased this cordless lawnmower for my elderly mother-in-law who was finding her old wired electric cable style too heavy and fidgety to handle. The use of extension cable outdoors was also a worry for me in case it got wet or she cut through the cable. This lighter weight lawnmower suits her perfectly as she is quite a small frame lady. Once I had this built up and running she was so surprised at just how easy it was to move about. It was definitely less of an effort and finished the job much quicker making it less stressful on her joints.
I managed to build this together within 15 minutes of opening. The instructions were easy to assemble and everything was there that was required. My mother-in-law has tried it out a few times now and finds it very light and compact compared to her older model. Battery is powerful, lasts well and recharges fairly quickly. Handle can be adjusted if you’re slightly taller but overall for the price it’s great on performance.
I bought this trimmer once and for all, after I burned so many electric one. I really really like it. It very strong and stud. Super powerful. I cannot immagine a battery one can be so powerful. The battery last ages, and not need to charge every time you use it. It has a security system that allow the machine to not start in an unsafe condition. All the grass goes inside the container and every few times you can remove and bin the compost. You can also set in several different levels to Adjust the length of the grass you want. It arrive till the floor to fully cut the grass too. Very easy to manovre and I cannot be tired to recommend it. The best money spent so far.
Battery life could be better ….luckily also bought swift strimmer…..so can inter change batteries …..1battery does about 30 sq meters of lawn depending on grass length ….full recharge time around 2hours…excellent product would still recommend
Well made looks good with thick crunchy wheels on a solid metal adjustable chassis which is outside cutting dome which keeps it clean. One position handlebar solid grasscatcher mulcher a pad which blocks grass catcher orifice. Instructions competent except my full charge covered 10 x 7 metres (a) charging WRONG states no lights on battery fully charged should state battery flat fully charged 4 lights although charger light starts red and goes green long after 4 lights whoops (b) No uk helpline or list of servicing agents but found one online [email protected]
I bought it for my mum because she has back pain and this light lawn mower is suitable for her . It is cordless and easy to assemble. It’s convenient and flexible to move around without cord. It cuts grass fast and efficiently. It can be used straight away once the battery is fully charged. Excellent battery lasting time and fast recharging. It has large capacity for grass, so no need to empty grass frequently. My mum said garden work was endless but it save her time and made her work better .
I bought this mover as I needed a cordless mower, that was easy to use
This certainly fits the bill
I only have a small lawn, so I cannot comment about battery life – My lawn is about 8 metres x 8 metres
And 1 charge coped with that fine
I would certainly recommend
I purchased a small flymo lawnmower last year, it was great for the price as it was just under 100. Unfortunately it was quite annoying for me to use as I spent as much time laying down extension cords through window’s as I did actually mowing my garden. I decided to go with this particular lawnawnower as I already own a swift strimmer so I can interchange the batteries between the two.
The lawnawnower is very easy to use, I don’t find myself accidentally letting go of the throttle like I do on my other lawnmower. It performs very well, although it isn’t quite as powerful as a corded lawnmower but this is expected. The lawnmower makes up for this by being extremely convenient. It also flolds away for very convenient storage.
The grass container is big enough meaning that I only have to empty it a couple of times per mow. The batteries last long enough to now my back garden and the front of my house.
It does a great job and cuts the grass well
I was disappointed that cutting height changes is achieved by unscrewing the wheels and screwing them back in a different position. I would have paid more for a proper job
Battery ok but needs a bit more Umpf
Arrived by Parcel Force day after ordering. Lovely packaging. Only negative. Odd length lower handle arms. (Speedily replaced at no cost). Assembly takes some thought. L and R on wheel bolts confusing at first. Mulch Plug. I had some fun with this. Never heard of one for a start. Give the battery a long charge. Wet long grass just drains it. Should have waited really but eager to test out. Very pleased overall. Customer Service absolutely excellent. Thanks to Lisa and Ross. Went the extra mile. Brilliant.
I just purchased this item and found that the wheels prove near impossible to screw in, been at it for hours only managing to fit two wheels so far… They should come with wheels fitted as this is just a lot of fiddly nonsense. Maybe i should have just bought a second hand one out the Charity Shop because it comes all fitted and hassle free at less the price and put the new one i bought in the bin.
Excellent value for money and a deceptively robust machine. 3/4 hour charging time lasts about 20 to 25 minutes, ample for my needs especially when the mulcher is attached; don’t be put off by the battery lights going from 4 to 1 very quickly. A red light flashes when it’s about to run out.
The only problems are that the wheels have to be reattached when changing cutting heights and after reversing a few times the wheels can fall off if not securely attached. The pushing arm is rather low is a trial if you have back ache! The blue electrical engage arm also needs to be gripped very firmly for the mower to start.
We bought this mower as needed a stop-gap before buying a petrol (new home, covid-19 crisis etc) so went with this model. Charges relatively well and easy to assemble. I do find that the wheels do come off quite easily during use, but it is quick and simple to reattach them.
Worried that we would have difficulties as the first cut of the season required two charges to get our moderately-sized lawn mowed. However, now the hard work from the first cut has been done, can usually mow it twice on a single charge (if not three times). Cuts the lawn neatly and evenly too!
It is easy to use and seems to keep itself clean as it is used (many mowers I have used in the past needed regular unclogging) and I like the colour-design. I may now keep with this one instead of upgrading to a petrol mower in the future – as it fits all purposes that we need for a lawn mower. Recommended.
I liked the size, weight and the adjustable cutting height. the battery kept its charge for a small sized garden. unfortunately there seemed to be a faulty connection so I only used it once. when contacted the firm were really good arranging for the mower to be collected. they offered a refund or replacement at once.
The battery life is much better than expected , assembly was quick and easy. The only downside is quite a major one; the handle is too short. I am 5’2″ and it still go as me a bad back from bending. The battery will do a rough cut of my garden, but I have to keep taking breaks to straighten up. I’m not a soft old granny, I’m a professional groom .
Delivery due 4/4 received 31/3. Arm to handle bar is fixed and unadjustable there by is not truly suitable for anyone 6ft and above (I’m 6’5) my wife is 5’1 so although easy for me to lift and move not for my wife. Safety button and level not the best in-fact pretty cheap compared to the rest of the mower it is hard to keep the mower on unless you hold very tight up against the handle bar but to the side bar going down as if held on the top it keeps cutting off. So once you work out all the negatives and providing it does not cut off it can cut the grass pretty well.
As far as I am concerned this is the most perfect appliance ever produced anywhere on the whole planet.
Bear in mind though, that I am a five foot tall OAP trying to improve an acre of what is probably the worst ground in all England.
I am not strong enough to use a petrol strimmer, but someone gave me a battery-operated lawn edger when they bought a better one. It was a huge help when used as a strimmer, but just couldn’t keep up in June and July. I became discouraged and nearly gave up.
Then I came across this mower.
Reviews were moaning that the handle was too short for them. Ideal! I am only five feet tall.
When it came, I did need some help from my husband to put it together, but it didn’t take long.
It is so light that I can easily pick it up with one hand, and it has a helpful handle on top for that. The battery was easy to charge, and slides into the charger with a satisfying “click”. I like it when things do this, as I know they are properly in place.
The blade is more like a brush-cutter blade than a lawn mower one. It is strong and sturdy.
So, I set off, all excited, for my acre of land.
At first, I began with a patch of mostly grass outside the caravan I use as a tool shed. I carefully strimmed it to a sensible height and removed all the stones I could find.
Then I mowed. Five minutes and it was all looking tidy, and I was looking around for something else to mow. The battery on the strimmer had gone flat already, (it is not a lithium one like this is) but I was eager to get more done.
So I set off through the jungle.
I soon discovered that this mower can chew through small brambles, weeds and long grass. It may not like to be pushed through it, but it can be pulled through it, and one cut does a huge amount. It is not necessary to go backwards and forwards over the same patch.
I have put a picture form that day. Soon I will post an after picture, but the weather is too wet to finish this area at the moment. You should know that I have probably cleared around 300 square meters of this land using only this mower, my grass trimmer, a pair of shears and a pair of secateurs in the past month.
Know anyone who would like all those hunks of concrete and stone I have dug out?
Oh well.
My husband says I should keep quiet about it as I have probably invalidated the guarantee. I say let’s shout about brilliant British engineering and manufacturing from the rooftops.
TL:DR If you are six feet tall this may not be for you. But if you are five feet tall, 70 years old and any sort of gardener, you need one of these. In fact, being 70 years old is probably not a requirement. It will save you masses of time at any age.
My mower arrived and kept cutting out every few seconds. The battery was faulty and customer services were amazing and replaced it immediately. It cuts short grass really well. On longer grass the battery does drain more quickly. The cut is clean and neat. I found the grass box kept clogging so at the advice of other users removed the white flap and it now works well. For small areas it is great, my lawn is about 6m x5m and it uses half the charge.
Do check the grass box regularly as it fills very quickly, compared to my other mower.
I would purchase this item again.
So bearing in mind I have a cordless vacuum cleaner… I was lazing on my sunbed on a lovely sunny afternoon feeling so happy, then…. I started to fixate on the daisies and dandelions growing on my recently mown lawn, mmmm I thought, I don’t like the look of those, but I couldn’t face getting my electric corded lawnmower out (the cord is always in the way, the machine is heavy and then I have to meticulously rewind cord or it takes me ages to untangle on next use) I thought I wish I could just use my vacuum cleaner on the daisies… So to cut a long story short… I got this lawnmower. I LOVE it, I can whoosh around decapitating daisies, dandelions and straggly weeds with such ease! It’s light weight and with no aggravating cord I can change direction wily nily! The handle height is quite low but perfect for petite me ! The big boy mower will no doubt still be used for long grass cuts, but as a summer ‘tidy upper’ this mower is just the job. (I just hope the re-chargeable battery lasts a reasonable time)
This lawn mower is quite the thing. If you’re old or have a small lawn then this is ideal. I got this for my. Mother in law to keep her grass in check (obviously this isn’t manly enough for me and my manly lawn) but using this it was remarkable. The battery was not fully charged when I cut the grass but this managed it without too much fuss.
Assembling this was a faff as I am a man and do not read instructions but it was up and running within 10 minutes.
Cut the grass nice and short the only downside I would say is if you want to adjust wheel height this is a tedious task compared to my earth destroying petroleum lawn mower.
All in all this is an ideal lawn mower for your small lawn(I have not tested this on medium or large lawns)
We have a small garden and the mower is good enough (not sure battery would last on a large lawn). There is no easy height adjustment – you need to physically alter the position of the wheels to raise or lower the mower but since I don’t tend to adjust the height routinely (you should never cut grass too low), this is a minor niggle. The Handle fold down mechanism – you have to unfasten restraining screws almost all the way to drop the handle – could be a bit slicker but again, small issue.
Bought this mower as we have planted apple trees in our lawn and roses round the edges and my usual mower was forever getting its cable tangles up in trees. This lightweight mower is smaller than average, lighter but nearly as powerful. I can waltz around the trees with no problem now. There are two down sides. The wheels have to be unscrewed, easy but time consuming, removed and refitted to alter the cut height. This was only necessary once at the first cut of the year to trim off the long grass. Then I lowered it to give my usual height and have not touched it since. Secondly, the length of the handles can’t be adjusted and they are too short for me (5′ 11″) and I have to mow stooped over. Not a big deal. The grassbox is adequate and the battery is powerful lasts long enough and recharges quickly. I still use my original mower on the front lawn where there are no obstructions as the Swift would be to slow it being so small. A good mower that solves my problem.
Having chosen for a long time, I finally bought the lawnmower. Delivery is fast. The box is so big and heavy. The day after I received the goods, I opened the box and prepared to recharge the battery. When the electricity is fully charged, I can start mowing my garden. When I opened the box, I saw a handrail missing. In this way, the lawnmower will not be installed. I send an email informing the seller. The seller immediately sent back the handrail to me, the service attitude is very good. The lawnmower is of good quality and easy to install and use. Remind everyone, battery charging, can not only look at the battery lamp, to the charger to the lamp prevail. If the light that only looks at the battery turns green. In this way, the battery may be charged only 80% of the electricity. If the battery is fully charged, it can mow more than 100 square meters of area. I tried it two times myself and finally knew the proper charging method for the battery. A little hint, I hope it will help you
I went to comparing lots of lawnmower from Amazon, and there has lots choice and different price. The final i decide to have this one not only recommend by friend also ut is wireless! lazy me didn’t do anything for the lawn… So it nearly heigh at my little girl’s knee.. Which i have to do something to preparing Summer PLAYING GROUND. This is my second lawnmower, comparing to my first grass cutter, it looks more professional and easy to tidy after cut. Courser it has big storage basket that back of engine which i didn’t need keep to pulled into garden bin oftentimes. The sound is acceptable volume. Easy assessable that just put to handle into the machine and make sure they are fasten. The height of handle is easy to control even 150cm height of me light to move that even teenager can use it to have lawn mover action but well they still need to becareful when use it.
I will upload my garden picture to show how it effective to “dress” grass to make it become “super handsome, clearer boy”. The 40V engine has enough to cut under 35cm height grass with no stree and most important it is very sharply to cut it. I dont need go over twice to cut same area. Best one i would like to say it is “wireless”. I dont need keep clean the wire after use and dont need extend the wire when there has no plug. Much convenient for household.
Afterward i use, i may like to mention some weakness. I need charging the battery before use and after half grass cutting because the life of battery. As its said the battery life only can support by 150cm2 ground. So for those have over that size garden’s customer i would recommend they going to buy a spared battery for swap use. Which can finish garden cleaning at one time. I would say if seller can design it has two way to charging this lawnmower should be super popular for reasonable price and efficiency use!
Overall satisfied and five stars!
For the price this is a very good mower. It cuts beautifully although the charge does not last as stated when the grass is long. Therefore purchase a second battery. The only negative is that this is not really suitable for people 6ft or over. The handle is approx 25″ from the floor so if you’re tall you’ll have a bad back. Therefore you’ll need to buy a handle extender. Due to its size it looks like a kiddies pretend mower but no grumbles on its performance.
