Since purchasing these my husband is never in the garden without them. Exactly as described- light weight but sturdy and can tackle some pretty big branches.
By design, to get the great leverage, the handles must be open to about 90 degrees to fit around and then cut a thick vine or branch. Opening the handles this far was difficult for me, but I think that design feature cannot be helped.
Branches would be easy to lop because the individual branches are easy to see. Because I was lopping a vine with tangled “branches,” it was difficult to see to get the lopper’s cutting edges positioned correctly around what I wanted to cut. The blades are designed for cutting, not inserting into tight places.
I put these through the test, the moment I picked them up. Was thinking they’d last 1 day. But these things easily went through 2 inch branches like butter. Very impressed. Was looking for the model that has a nub at the tip to help hold onto the branch, but couldn’t find that model. This is super light and cuts easily. Very surprised and pleased with this purchase. Will last a longer than anticipated. Happy
Slices through branches, over an inch in diameter, with ease. The wife has gone ballistic in the garden – watch out any bush or tree that has the temerity to encroach into another’s space!
The blade was so smooth ans cut the branches with no issue. Next time I’ll use a ladder to reach higher branches

Cuts easily, it works so much better than some I’ve used!
Replaced telescopic loppers. No messing trying to slide and lock arms. Smooth easy cut and good leverage for folk with less arm strength. Gnarled rose stems no problem.The gearing puts them on a par with the old telescopic long arms for bite.
Lightweight. Not the sturdiest (needed a quick tighten after a few hours moderate use, no big deal) but considering the price they’re definitely worth every penny. I’d buy them again.
These are great! They slice effortlessly through small tree branches, which is exactly what I needed!
Does exactly what i needed it to do, slices thtough smallish branches like a knife through butter and not too pricey either.
Not as heavy to hold as most, and cut back my shrubs easily.

So glad I chose this pruner! And just in time (winter freeze and all) … slices right through those smaller limbs and is very well made! Tip comes with plastic cover which is nice to keep it in better shape. Highly recommend.
Cuts branches that are pretty big with ease. Surprisingly find myself grabbing this over my electric hedge trimmer. Great value. Cuts limbs about 1.5″ thick.
I used it for lopping tree branches into smaller pieces for brown bin disposal.
I thought there would have been some ‘care’ instructions, but none included. For instance, is it necessary to ‘oil’ the hinges at any time?

Did an amazing job cutting back the 5cm thick branches hanging over into my neighbour’s garden. Only just used it so of course can’t vouch how good it will remain 2 or 3 years from now.
I was able to snip the roots and stems of fallen Pine trees into garbage bag portions.
Easy to use with a great reach, sharp cutting movement great for my overgrown garden, I’m a 74year old woman, so if I can use say no more.
I’ve gone through a lot of tools that either break or aren’t sharp enough. These have still held up and cut through a huge bush and tree in my yard
I have RA and it’s much easier to use than my old loppers. I’ve cut almost a quarter of an acre of brush and they are still sharp and working great.

It is a good Lopper but it seems that the angle at which I find myself needing to lop the lopper does not open wide enough.. Seems sturdy enough.
I live amongst trees!! It was getting out of control with more over growth than I could tolerate. I went to town on everything and anything that looked like it needed to be cut back! It was actually satisfying to see how nice and improved everything looked after! Not sure how I lived so long without these!! Great buy! I hope they last me a long time!

bought this to replace my fiskars loppers because the fiskars lopper blades were destroyed after just a few uses and i read how others were having problems getting replacement blades…glad i did…these work better than the others from day 1…cleared a 50 x 20 section of overgrown weeds, vines, and tree branches in no time…and there is not even a dent in the blades…highly recommend

I’ve been using the wrong tool (hedge trimmers) to try to trim smaller branches for too long. So I decided to get this to make yard work a little easier.
I’m amazed at how easily it cuts through branches. No matter how strong you are (or aren’t), I bet you could use this tool with ease. I’ve had zero problems with it, and it seems like a great design.
My grandkids and I use it for the first time and was easy to cut off dead branches. A plus.

The tool is very well made after a full day of trimming its still sharp and the joints are tight. The tool is easy to clean preventing contamination to other bushes, rose or ornamental. My wife likes it light well balanced with a fulcrum that allow a woman to use with no issue. I am very pleased to see such a high quality tool being imported from Taiwan and not bringing the poor quality from that other country
Even though you gave sharpening instructions, I don’t think I can do it as well as the new blade.I would like to have a spare to replace the original when it gets dull. A sharp tool is a safe tool.

I was pleasantly surprised (actually I was shocked) as to how easily these loppers cut through branches. I had been battling overgrown forsythias with a chain saw to no avail. This product cut through the branches as if they were butter. Even cut branch roots into the dirt. I am so happy that I finally have the perfect tool for my war on the forsythias.
They where light weight and easy to use to cut bushes.
Just learned the difference between anvil and by pass loppers. Bought these and just in time to chop up the entire canopy of a large maple tree as well as chop up some old shrubs. I’m an old lady without a lot of upper body strength. I was able to use these very easily.

I had just bought a pair of 28 inch loppers that were twice the price of these loppers. I decided to take a chance on the Tabor Tool trimmers since we go through loppers fairly quickly with three growing boys doing a lot of the trimming on our 10 acres. I have been SO impressed with the cutting ability and quality of these trimmers!!! Definitely recommend these as a quality tool.
Cut oak & pine branches that seem to snap apart on cuts with a good sense of tool strength. Maybe have made a thousand cuts thus far from downed/damaged trees branches a result of a tornado & Nor Easter with absolutely no issues. A tremendous value too — couldn’t be happier.
With long handles I was able to reach more. Light enough to be manageable but tough enough to do the job.

Worked very well. They were large so i thought they would be difficult to handle. But they werent. And they were very sharp on the branches. Cuts great!
I’ve bought/owned many lopers. Majority of them work for a little while then end up in the trash. These are the best I’ve ever owned. I’ve put it through it’s paces and it keeps going strong! I’ve had to tighten the screw once and it works like when I first started using it!

Sorry for the delay, but I just got around to using your wonderful lopper. It is so lightweight that trimming my palm trees was a snap. The blades are so sharp that very little pressure is required. You’ve made my life is little easier. Great product!
love this Tabor Tool GB30 . works very well,I cut down a large shrub. Some branches were 2.5 inches and it took me a bit to cut thru . The smaller branches cut off with no problem and quickly.I really enjoyed using this tool
I bought this 30 inch model for the larger branches and it works beautifully. It is extremely sharp and easy for by five foot 102lb wife to use. Extremely satisfied with this Tabor tool.
Have not used this much yet, but it appears to be built sturdy enough for the job. Comfortable to use. Seller seems very concerned with customer satisfaction which is a good sign. So far so good.
The tool is also very light weight and it looks like the blade is easily removable for replacement or cleaning simply by removing 2 bolts.
After using it to trim all those trees and cut up the branches to be bagged up, the blade looks like new. All past ones that I have used have gotten dulled very quickly but this blade seems much stronger.

This is one very well made tool. I am 68 and have arthritic hands and this takes all the work out of cutting down small branches. Absolutely love it!

This is by far the best lopper I have ever used. I used to think one needed a lot of leverage and a rachet to cut 1″ branches. This tool does it easy without long arms or a rachet.

I deducted one star for the rather generous description of its capabilities. The ad says this will do 1 1/2″ branches with ease. Based upon my experience, I would reduce that to 1″ branches. You can probably gnaw through a 1 1/2″ branch, particularly with 2-3 attempts, but I found the cuts to be neither clean nor easy. To get one clean cut all the way through the branch, I found the branch needs to be all the way down to the base of the blade. The width of the cutter at its base is one inch.
