Bought these because I wanted the Adirondack style but not the weight that often comes with them. These are very light but that is an indication of how fragile the wood is. I treated them 3 times before construction to make them more weatherproof but still might store them in the garage over winter. Easy to put together and look very smart painted slate grey.
After searching several retailers for affordable Adirondack style chairs, I got these, slightly wary because they were considerably cheaper than others. But I am pleased with the quality and found them very easy to put together. We painted them with an exterior wood paint before assembling and I think they look great.
Delivery was quick (2 days early).
They are not hardwood like the expensive chairs but a good coat of garden paint and they looked amazing. I bought the table (which comes built) and footrest (only needs you to attach the legs with 4 nuts and bolts).
