light fitting – bought several for a run along a fence line and 2 had slight dents which pulled out fairly easily. Glass and metal compared to cheaper lights I considered and glad I payed the extra. So far so good

It’s a reasonable budget external light that is as described (that’s quite an achievement with some Amazon products) a more expensive light would have a slightly better paint finish but I am really being very picky here! The clear glass cover is thick enough to withstand a few accidental knocks and the simple black and white finish makes it quite elegant.
You get what you pay for but these are very good quality for the price. Fitted earlier today on a job I’m on and will look the part when completed !

Easy to fit looks good as with most light fitting it wont come with a lamp
I had a job drilling the holes for the back plate to get the light level but once I managed it the rest was pretty straightforward. The light gives a good amount of light at night so I can see what I am doing when I go out my back door. It looks very attractive and is very useful.
I love that they look in keeping with the property and they have been greatly admired by all. Arrived quickly. As regards fitting my electrician did that and he said they were not a problemm.
This is a class product which I am sure is worth a lot more than the selling price. Solidly constructed in metal and in the right proportions for style. Looks excellent in the garden with a low wattage, vintage light bulb.

This is a great light. So well made and much bigger than expected (but in a good way). It looks stunning. Had buy a bulb as did not take on board that it was not a bayonet fitting. Took advantage to buy a dusk til dawn bulb and it works a treat.

Looks amazing. Purchased 3 for outside. Arrived promptly, but unfortunately one of the glass diffusers was smashed. Contacted the seller, who apologised and promptly sent out a replacement. Extremely pleased with the seller and product. Doesn’t come with bulbs!

This choice is for a wall light is the main light in our newly renovated porch/utility room in our C listed house. The light will be installed on a high natural stone inner wall hence the disappointment that this super solid fitting has a plastic backing box with two squint fixing holes to hold it in place. Because it is so solid I have only dropped it one star on account of the backing box. My husband installs electrics so this will be no problem for him to strengthen. I’m looking forward to the finished result. Later: my new light is in place and looks really good on the natural stone wall. 40w bulb is not bright enough but all I have at the moment with 60w on my shopping list.

Very stylish once in situ and very straightforward to install, definitely go for one of the recommended bulbs with the vintage looking filaments, we got one on eBay which has a heart shaped filament and gives a beautiful orange/yellow glow very similar colour to a summer sunset . We installed ours at the front of the house and are now seriously considering buying a second one and Replacing the old one on the patio at the rear of the house .
