Got this for my rise and fall desk, keeps the extension lead and leads all together and prevents them being lifted up and down as the desk rises and falls.

The clamps do the job although don’t think they are machined 100% straight as when you tighten them the frame starts to bend, however, does not need to be to tight so not much of an issue.

This is a reasonable quality item, made from what looks like press formed metal sheet with a powder coat paint job. I got it for use with my adjustable height desk in my home office and I’m happy with the outcome.

It’s easy to use, you just hook it over the back of the desk and tighten the screws. If you prefer the top of your desk to be more minimalist you might want something that you screw to the bottom of the desk that doesn’t show on the top.

I’m personally quite happy with the result, I no longer have loads of cables draping at the back of my desk. It might have been better if it was a bit longer, but it’s doing a good enough job.

It does flex a bit when you tighten the screws, so be careful you only tighten it as much as you need.

All in all, reasonably happy. Four stars.

Solid and useful if a bit sho

This is awesome – we just got my husband an outside office and the first issue we came across almost straight away was the fact that his desk was facing the glass door and hence all those nasty unsightly webs of cables were exposed. We got a cable management system that pulled cables together and hid them in special tubes, clipped to certain surfaces, but it was still not the best, as he or the pets would constantly pull on cables when walking past the desk at the front, etc and iut did not look that great! These trays made a world of difference, as all those tubes went straight into the trays, out of the way and it looks sleek and tidy! Great idea and definitely one to recommend!

This is a really solid metal management box that can be clamped into place under a desk or table, It is quite broad and deep and is obviously useful for a lot more than just cables.
As can be seen from the picture above an extension power bank can be easily placed inside it so that four power plugs and three USB plugs (in my particular case) can easily be plugged in and the wiring the routed via cable tidies (not supplied) to the desk top. This can be a good way to hide your power supplies out of the way whilst still having the sockets close enough that you only have to worry about one extension lead at most.
If it were longer it could also be used to route cables the length of a desk and i have speculated about using to mount hard drives, particularly NAS drives, under the desk but I have not had the opportunity to test this theory out yet.
For the price (19.99 at time of writing) I feel that it is a worthwhile investment just to get that power extension out of the way and hidden under the desk – for cables alone, however, I feel that it is overkill.

Heavy duty, heavy weight but perhaps a bit sho

I ordered this to cable manage my desk. Out of the box it feels to be very durable and made of high quality materials. The metal is very rigid and doesn’t bend easily, it is also a nice black colour which means if you can see it, it doesn’t stand out.

Installing was very easy, you just clamp it to the back of the desk. The only issue is that the top is visible on the desk but it is quite small so isn’t a huge problem. Overall after installing though, the underneath of my desk looked much neater and you couldn’t see any cables unless you really tried to see them.

It is great for holding cables and a single width power strip however I also have a bounce width power strip that has 8 sockets and this was too wide to fit into this management tray.

So except for wishing the gap was a bit wider, I would recommend.

Easy to Use, Could be a Bit Bigge

With this cable organiser I finally sorted the cables and my desk looks so much better.
It’s very easy to attach to the desk and there is no screwing into the desktop required.
Overall it feels solid and, because it clamps to the desk, it can be used with any material.

This cable duct comes in a basic printed box and inside you will find the cable duct and an instruction leaflet. The cable duct is made from steel and is very rigid, so will be able to take a lot of weight without bending or breaking.

The cable duct has slots in them which allows you to have multiple cables coming out of the duct in various places, so you have more control of your cable runs. There are three large holes in the rear, which also run underneath, to allow for cable access from different areas and angles. It is fixed very quickly and easily with a screw and handle design. You hang the top of the duct, over the rear of your desk and tighten up the screw which squeezes the desk and holds the duct in place. It’s very sturdy when tightened and the installation can be done in around a minute.

These are a fantastic way to tidy up the floor under your desk and ideal if you have a heavy, or large, cable extension as these are designed to withstand a lot of weight. An excellent addition to any desk to make it more tidy

An easy to install cable management system...

Since moving my power extension leads to under desk cable management trays, I have faced the problem whereby I cannot connect smartphone chargers. That is because they are taller and the USB Type C port is at the top. This Tray does not only give me more room but it is also stronger. It is very easy to install.

    Highly recommended.

Very strong with good space for tall power plugs

This cable holder from CLOOLC is what you really need to organise if you have lots of cables and wires on your working table.

The main purpose of this product is for you to reduce your cable clutter and hold them neatly and tidily in one place. This measures 15.7×5.5×3.9 inches and weighs 1.3 kilograms. It has a polygonal hollow design making it easy to dissipate heat. It also has a black matte texture finish and a double metal clip type cable organizer so you need to use screws or adhesive. In addition, its maximum load capacity is 20 pounds and it can be used for up to 10 years.

To set this up, you only need to clamp the cable desk management along the edge of the desktop and insert the power strip or cable. The metal clamp has a rubber protective cover so you don’t have to worry that your PC will be damaged or scratched.

I really like that it is made of metal making it really durable and of good quality. I installed this in less than 5 minutes which is very impressive. I have other cable management products as I literally have hundreds of cables running under my desk so I needed to get more. With this one, it appears to be long-lasting and durable so I am not going to complain too much, but I do think it should be priced more at around 10.

Generally, I am happy with this, it has really helped me tidy all my wires in my office and they look a lot more organized now.

I’m very pleased with this clamp-on cable management tray. It has a black powder finish with smoothed edges so as not to cause scratches or cuts when installing it. The tray has two T-bar steel screw clamps, which allow the tray to be fixed to tabletops from 1cm thick to about 7cm thick. Although quite expensive, this is a well thought out cable management tray and ideal for my desk – At home I use a dining table as a desk because I find that most ‘home office desks’ are far too small but as such, I’d much rather clamp my cable management to the table rather than screw it to the table in case want to change the use later on. Having screw clamps means that this tray is also easy to re-position. The steel is very stiff and the design allows for easy cable management. Recommended.

This is certainly a sturdy cable management basket. It attaches to the edge of the table or shelf and then screw the supports up tight.
It holds a power bar and has three outlets. The metal is black powder coated so it’s durable.
It’s quite heavy so wouldn’t be any good for flimsy desks. Overall I think it’s an excellent cable management unit.

Nice quick installation, just two screws that you turn so it clamps to the desk.

Big spacers on the end to ensure that the weight is spread well across the table top.

The metal is heavy duty and doesn’t bend with force, your more likely to snap the table first.

It takes a 5 gang expansion lead, then on top of that I put all of the spare cables on top of it to then save even more space.

    Nice addition to my megadesk.

    Under Desk Cable Management Tray
    ============================
A surprisingly solid heavy piece of metal, with a really good design. This hangs off the end of the table and then tightens using the hand operated clamps. Because of the size of the clamps, this will adjust to most if not all desk thicknesses. Once set in place, this isn’t going anywhere – and you can place wires or even extension lead, although the latter wont fit flat , unless you have one shorter than the length between the two clamps, and helps hide your wires away. For me, being able to put all my peripheral power charging bricks out of the way, in a safe place was a huge bonus. I used nylon velcro ties to keep the wires on one edge of the cage, away from the power bricks. At this price, I wish it was a bit longer though, although I suspect it will probably suffice for most desks. The cage has a lot of gaps, so lots of places to thread or wire through. Currently selling at 19,99 – but you will get rid of a lot of cable clutter.

Really easy to set up just 2 spindle bits the keep it locks against the desk. Stays very sturdy and has a lot of options to tidy cables with. Works well would recommend to keep desk area tidier.

Handy bracket that can be clamped on to the bottom of a desk and will hold a power strip, or just cables, close to the desk. The bracket needs no assembly – to attach to the desk simply tighten the two clamp screws. The base of the bracket has a lip so cables can be placed on to the bracket and won’t slip out. The back and base of the bracket has cuts outs which would allow a regular plug to be threaded through. A good solution to tidying up cables or lifting a mains power strip off the floor with the associated cable mess.

This under desk cable management tray is THE perfect way to manage clunky items like adaptors and extensions off the desk. I didn’t even know such a thing existed besides the ones you have to permanently screw in which won’t work for my IKEA desk as they’re usually partially hollow inside. This one fixes via a clamping system and allows me to VERY easily route cables and wires whilst hiding them off my desk. As you can see from the photos, the underneath can look however, as long as the top of the desk is clutter free! Very happy with the build quality and how well this does the job. You can easily fit even the thickest of desks with ease.

Very useful and perfect for desk cleaning and wire manageme

This comes nicely boxed and it’s very sturdy. However, it’s pretty big. In fact, it’s a bit too big for the desk I had it planned for. To fit this, you need a fairly big lip on the back of your desk because the the circular braces need around an inch to brace themselves against. Make sure it fits your desk before ordering.

he instructions are worthless in this – but you don’t really need them. very self explanatory. simply clamp to the desk and then thread the cables through and all your cables are nicely organised and tucked away.
really solid build quality and very strong table clamps.

This tray is fantastic to hide the number of cables under the desk but also is a bit heavy. I was not expecting the tray to be heavy or a bit big but does he work.

To assembly to the desk can not be easier, no need for screws to damage the desk or any tapes

The clamps are very strong and keep the tray in place and as well adjustable.
The price of the tray when the review was made is 19.99 and I believe it’s a bit expensive, but just a bit.

I hope my review and pictures can help you decide.

    Easy to use

This cable management tray is great. I’ve attached it under my desk and it was really simple to install. It holds my extension cable with ease and makes it easy to plug in and manage all my devices. Amazing! Perfect if you have loads of stuff plugged in under your desk!

    Perfect cable manage

I am going to be moving house relatively soon and I am going to be having one of those garden offices put in, with a much longer desk area, in fact an extra 3M. So, I am already on the lookout for extra wiring management solutions. I currently have the ones that screw in under the desk. This one is slightly different in the it is going to be on one of the corners and tucked out of the way and although the top will sit over the desk, it will be covered up.

The first thing I noticed about this tray was the weight, it is no lightweight piece of kit and feels solidly made. Fixing it to your desk is straightforward enough and all you need to do is hook it over your desktop and then tighten the clamps. I do think they missed an opportunity to offer some mounting flexibility with this tray though, by not offering the option of screw mounting it.

There is plenty of space to get an extension block on there, maybe two if you could fix one against the back panel. Where it sits on top of the desk, there are two largish open slots, which if you drilled through the desktop, could be used to thread cables through, keeping the desktop tidier.

In addition to cable management, it could also be used as an external hard drive caddy, and I reckon you could fit two or more on there depending on size and shape.

The key to anything like this, is planning your cable runs out first and what kit you need and where. This tray can have multiple uses and is reasonably priced, solidly made, and easy to remove and move around as and when necessary.

At 19.99, I personally think that is reasonable value for money but you can get two for 29.99, which is much better.

I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.

I’ve been looking for something like this for a while, although I already have some cable management channels under my PC desk I’ve also got three devices that require additional power packs as part of their mains plug, previously I had tried using Velcro to stick these under the desk but the weight + heat resulted in the Velcro failing, this cable management tray is the ideal solution to overcome this. It attached to the desk using a clamp type system where you set the appropriate amount of tension/hold that the clamps have on the desk. Once secure just pop the cables, power packs etc into the tray and they’ll be secure and out of sight. The ideal solution to my problem, very pleased with it.

    Ideal solutio

I got this device to put laptop chargers on whilst working at our home office desk. Currently they are just on the floor and i wanted to stow them safely and neatly. When i came across this device i thought it would be great to fix to my home office desk.

The device itself is very well made, a decent bit of weight to it. You secure it to your desk using rotatable clamps. Because of these clamps it will fit a huge range of desk thicknesses. I have a thin glass desk and it fits great. The storage space is ideal for a couple of laptop bricks with room to spare!

The cost of this device is a small price to pay to keep your room neat and tidy and to stop you damaging those expensive laptop charging bricks!

    Highly recommend piece of kit!

I hope you found my review helpful

    Great charger/Cable Storage
