Fast charging tips
- To achieve fast charging, you need a fast charging power block and your phone must support fast charging.
- For Samsung Galaxy S20 /S20+ /S20 / Note 10 / Note 10 Plus: Support fast charging but requires USB-A charger QC2.0 / QC3.0 / AFC. The original charger is a 25W USB-C PD charger
- For HUAWEI: It supports fast charging, but cannot support HUAWEI SuperCharge (5V/4.5A or 4.5V/5A).
- For Google Pixel : Fast charging is not supported as it requires a PD charger with a USB-C to USB-C cable
- For One Plus: Only standard charging is supported, but DASH fast charging is not supported

Have trouble charging stuff like playstation controllers etc, but works with my phone and kids tablets, although does take a bit long to charge

Being red, these cables stand out from the usual white rubber or grey braided cables. The cable is slightly thinner than other alternative braided brands, however this makes them a little easier to take travelling and they charge fine.
Currently they are discounted from 6.99 to 5.69 with a further 10% discount offer. For 5 they are an absolute no brainier. Recommended.
I love these leads. Great colour, feel good quality and have sufficient 2m length for most uses. Allows fast charging of my Samsung S10e and fast and sufficient data transfer between devices too. Really happy with these and feel 5.69 for two leads is great value for money. Due to the lovely braided cable these should last a long time. They are very flexible to bend around objects and have good weight which keeps the cable on the floor or surface when it is being used rather than creating a trip hazard, but is light enough to carry around.
My son is forever losing/breaking chargers for his phone and tablet. I’m constantly trying to find something indestructible, but not found anything yet. These seem like they could last the course. Nicely made with a good quality nylon braid. Fingers crossed.

I am always on the looking out for decent quality and durable fast charging wire. We are a house of 5, so they become hot property and you can never find one even though there must be 50 of them hiding somewhere. So, when these came up for review, I was keen to try them out and claim them for my own before the teens get hold of them! Here’s what I thought.
Wide compatibility
One of the best things about these charging wires is how compatible they are with most things I own. Laptop, computer, and gaming controllers — all work with no issues. This makes them very multi-functional, and handy. I loved that I could quickly transfer data — something that actually hadn’t occurred to me before so that added another string to their useful bow that really impressed me.
Fast charging
The wires are, as they claim, to be fast charging. No real surprises here, but you’ll need to pair them with a fast-charging plug to get the most out of them — your power adapter needs to support QC30.0 2.
Durability
I’ve lost count of the times that wires have broken, bent and become dangerous and unusable, so I was pleased to see that these are made from ultra-durable aluminium shell, nylon braid and 250d fibre core. If like me, those names mean nothing to you, then you’ll just have to take my word for it that the combination of the previously mentioned materials makes for very strong wires. They just feel tough and that’s enough to convince me they’ll last.
Conclusion
These are excellent fast-charging wires with wide compatibility — they’re really tough and designed to last. Overall, I’m very impressed. 100% recommended.
I’ve noticed some other reviews stating that they’ve received faulty leads but this has not been the case for me. Fortunately, I received two cables that work as expected although maybe a little slower than other USB C cables I’ve tried.
They feel durable – I much prefer braided leads as they are far stronger and tend to last longer. These cables are 2m in length which is a little long for me but they do their job so I have no major complaints.
Durable, and definitely worth the money for 2 cables.

Bought these with the sole intention of using them for my children when on car journeys. They reach to the back of the car easily and will charge their switch – which will hopefully keep them entertained whilst we’re inevitably stuck in traffic.
They are good quality cables, come in simple packaging and they do what you’d want them to do. They feel durable and sturdy They’ve been used several times over the past few days with no issues. 6.99 for a 2 pack at the tie of reviewing seems like a good price for these – more than happy to recommend.

Great double pack and 2 meters they give you that extra flexibility of being able to sit on the sofa away from a socket or for me great for social media streaming and video making. Nice beaded lead I did find it a little hard to push Into the charging port on my phone for the first time as I didn’t push it all the way in it felt like it was all the way in but fell out just push a little harder and it kind of clicks so not to fall out they are not loose and charge fast so these are lightening cables would recommend.
They work perfectly fine for my Nokia, as extra chargers. The length is more than sufficient and the wire covering is a nice material.

More and more tech devices come requiring charging via USB C and quite often, the cable provided with them is either too short or of a quality that wont last or survive too much bendy cable management. Thankfully this double pack is a great solution to that issue.
At 2M in length, these are just perfect for those like me, who want to set up their tech area so its just plug and play and not wasting time searching for the right cable and I also love the braided style so the cable has extra protection as well from wear and tear like bending. I can set up the devices for charging and have the cable hidden away with enough to get to the power point or plug needed. Quality is superb, I love the colour combination that makes the cable stand whilst looking stylish and professional at the same time. Great solution if you are looking for USB C Cables for fast charging but also for space management.

Fast charging is supported for many devices, but really fast charging isn’t possible due to the limitations of the cable.

You get 2 x 2M nylon braided cables and being nylon braided, they should prove to be durable. Where the cable joins the housing there is a short, perforated sleeve which runs down onto the cable. This allows the cable to flex without putting undue pressure on the wiring inside. Personally, I prefer these to extend further onto the cable. The connectors look to be well finish.
In terms of charging performance, this is going to be dependent on the voltage going to your device from the charger. I tried the cable with one of the latest 120W GaN III fast-chargers and at 5V it will charge at 3A and at 9V it is 2A. I take anything equal to or above 2.4A to be fast charging. I tested the cable with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus and both were getting 9V/1.63A. I then tried a different, non-GaN charger that will charge at 5V/2.4A and tried both devices again. Each was getting 5V/1.63A. I had just tested a similar set of cables and the result were exactly the same for both.
The 480Mbps data transfer speed is relatively slow in this day and age, but it is sufficient for connecting to an external hard drive or SSD, but you would not want to be transferring large video files. To be honest, I would use a USB-C to USB-C cable to do all of that.
As I mentioned, I got two pairs of cables, both 2m in length, and about the same price and I have to say that the other ones were better quality than these. Although they performed as well as each other.

These are very good quality leads, the connection between the lead & phone seems more solid than the original charging leads. I would highly recommend these, especially for a great price to.
I don’t know about the durability, the time will tell. But the type c end fits firmly in to my phone despite the case.

As far as chargers go this cable looks great but I would have preferred one of the cables to be a bit longer than the other but that’s not a deal breaker for me.
This is a great USB C cable that I feel will stand the test of time, the cable is protected by what I feel is a robust metallic sleeve and the colour of the cable is nice in contrast to the accent on the sleeve it’s a good touch in my opinion.
The cable length I had was 2m (2 pack) and they work well for charging my phone, headphones and controllers, I’ve not tested for data transfer as it’s not the intended use for me but the charging rate is fine I have no issues to report.
The cables are great value for money and seem reliable, so I am happy to recommend them.
