I bought the Usogood TC80 Trail Camera to observe wildlife in the garden. It was easy to set up and takes great still photos and videos in all light conditions, night and day. Furthermore the support service has proved to be very good. All in all I’m very happy with the product.
I took a while to put this camera in place. We are simply using it as a wildlife camera in our garden but it would suit use in a much more wild situation. Good range of sensors, excellent camera. You fit an SD card and some batteries , configure some settings and then leave the camera to do its stuff , enjoy
I purchased this camera as an upgrade to a similar product I purchased in 2016. The higher resolution with this UsoGood wildlife camera definitely makes it a good purchase. These ease in which you can transfer videos on to your iphone is another plus point. Last night the camera caught a badger and a fox on film.
After a long search I landed on this product and I’m so pleased I bought it. Most important for my usage was that it would allow for long uninterrupted night recordings. Most trail cameras only go up to 20 secs. Here the menu suggests recordings up to 9 minutes. I only used it for 3 minute night recordings, so I don’t know whether it actually goes up to 9min. The image resolution is great compared to other cameras I’ve seen. The only downside is that when something is near the lens (which by the way allows for quite close-up recordings without getting blurry, I reckon 25cm which is also unusual) it starts to look quite fish-eye. Other than that this is excellent value for money and I would highly recommend.
I have had a couple in the last 3 years. The photo quality isnt bad. The motion seems to miss the subject sometimes seconds later so you have an empty picture. The night vision is only good on my camera if the subject is up close otherwise you just get darkness and shadows. Day time quality is good.

I bought this Wildlife Camera to replace an unreliable more expensive well known make for use in my garden.
I have been using trail cameras for many years and have seen them evolve in video quality and features. I have found the usogood 4k 48 MP wildlife camera to be well made and robust enough to survive the English weather.
The camera is easy to use and set up.
The video quality day and night is excellent and the stills day and night are also of very high quality something previous cameras have never been so good at.
Trigger time is more than adequate for garden wildlife.
Battery life is also good with the added bonus of an external power supply socket for busy bird feeders.
Usogood customer service is excellent and could teach some other trail camera manufacturers a thing or two.

This is the first trail camera I’ve bought and used and so far I’m really happy. I have had it out for a few days-more than a week and the batteries haven’t died really quickly. I have however only had a small amount of wildlife visitors to that area so perhaps that would be different if it was going off more. The picture quality is good though, and the strap to attach it is nice and sturdy. It also seems to do well in bad weather so can say it’s weatherproof.
The app did take a while to find and connect and can be a little slow but once connected works well so you can change settings remotely – you do have to be within about a 5 meter radius though.
Would recommend and considering a second one for another location.

Easy to set up and it has a comprehensive menu to allow you to set the various sensors and camera settings to get the best results for your own circumstances.
The results have been great quality and some great pictures have been taken and shows the variety of wildlife in their garden.
We did have a slight issue with the unit but the supplier dealt with that quickly and efficiently after asking for a few details from us. After we described the issue they sent us a new unit without any quibble. Excellent customer service.
Pros:
– Very easy to use, I didn’t read the instructions, it was totally intuitive
– Excellent quality pictures, both during the day and at night
– Excellent camera sensor. The video picked up a tiny mouse in the middle of the night
– Very cheap in comparison to some other trail cams
Cons:
– When videoing at night, the video make it look like the animal is in the middle of a big spotlight eg there is darkness around the edges of the frame (see still taken from a video, attached). This doesn’t happen with the more expensive trail cams
– The battery compartment is a bit strange, it doesn’t pull out so I could see a danger of getting batteries stuck in there if they were left in too long or were slightly oversized
– Batteries have to be over 1.2v, which means I can’t use my cheaper rechargeable batteries. I tried and they didn’t work. So just make sure if you’re buying batteries they are over 1.2v. To be fair, this may be the case with all trail cams
In summary, if you want a great value trail cam to record the wildlife that’s around, day and night, this is a really good option. If you are wanting to use the night images in films, I would suggest going for a more expensive version so you don’t get the spotlight effect.
Pros about the camera : straightforward to use, does what it says it does – clear pictures, PIR detects at 20m or so. Night vision
Cons: battery life can be short, depending on PIR choices. Use rechargeable batteries Or better still, run a waterproof cable to a 6V mains adapter if possible.
Found that the camera was not happy with Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries for some unknown reason, using PeakPower rechargeable batteries instead. Curiously the Amazon batteries were very slightly larger both in length and diameter (by maybe < 0.1mm) - and are too snug in the battery compartment and won't come out easily. The app has changed from the one mentioned in the manual - customer support responded well to point me at the new app ((look for 'Victor Cam'). All camera controls are available from the app, apart from time/date setting. App to camera communication is not too swift - viewing a recorded video through the app is not feasible.
Although I’ve only had it a few weeks I am very happy with the sensitivity of the motion sensors and quality of the photos/video – both in the day and the night. Battery life is much as expected with a set of new batteries lasting about a week and capturing hundreds of photos/videos. I had a few issues using the app to connect to my phone but the trouble-shooting guide supplied helped with those in the end. Don’t forget to buy an SD card (max 64GB) for the camera.
We are very much enjoying our Usogood Wildlife camera. The picture and video quality is very good. Unfortunately we had issues with the software and the instructions weren’t very good and the app is in Chinese. The customer service was helpful.
Still we are enjoying see the wildlife in our garden.
First of all, the picture and video quality is outstanding. The cam captures incredibly crisp and clear footage, even in low light conditions. I was able to capture some amazing footage of wildlife in their natural habitat, and the images were so clear, I could even see the fine details on their fur and feathers.
The setup process was also incredibly easy. I was able to get everything up and running in just a few minutes, and the user interface is very intuitive and user-friendly.
I was especially impressed with the cam’s battery life. Even with frequent use, I was able to go weeks without having to replace the batteries, which is a huge plus for anyone who wants to use the cam for extended periods of time.
Overall, I would highly recommend the camera to anyone who loves spending time outdoors and wants to capture amazing footage of wildlife.
Camera works very well. (images/sensors,PIR/night vision all good) when working remotely, i.e. if viewing images on SD card on a computer after removing card from camera. Images are v good. But instruction are poor.
(Note: max 64GB SD card and must be at least class 6 (6mb/sec) or greater – info I could not find on web until phone arrived)
However instructions on how to use the Apps are non existent, only poor instruction on how to connect phone to camera.
The Android app recommended to use in the instructions no longer exists. Had to contact manufacturer to get details of new android app which they did provide (Victor Cam). Customer support is good.
The Apple app works and connects easily to camera but again was difficult to figure out how to use as no instructions on use of app.
Summary: Camera works very well and we have excellent photos of hedgehogs, but the app is somewhat limiting.

Foto trappola bella robusta, facile da usare, ottima qualit di foto e video anche di notte. molto mimetica e si adatta sugli alberi o nelle siepi ecc. Infrarossi non si notano nemmeno che in alcune fototrappole si vede anche da lontano. I sensori di movimento sono istantanei, se passa qualcosa lo riprende sicuramente. fornita con un bel manuale di istruzioni, avendo la funzionalit del Wi-Fi molto comoda scaricare foto e video sul proprio smartphone in pochi minuti. La disponibilit del produttore molto eccellente. Se dovrei comprare un’altra foto trappola prenderei ancora questa.
Fototrappola arrivata in tempi brevissimi. Si presenta robusta e di buona fattura. Molto intuitiva da usare grazie anche al wi fi incorporato che permette di gestirla dal telefono. Ottima la durata delle batterie e la visione notturna. Buon prodotto..

consegna rapidissima (meno di 24 ore), ben confezionata, la fototrappola arriva corredata di cavetto USB e accessori per il montaggio, con un manuale in varie lingue compreso l’italiano: le istruzioni sono molto chiare (a parte qualche piccola sbavatura di traduzione, ininfluente) e la configurazione stata semplice e rapida (davvero 10 minuti incluso scaricamento e impostazione della app per il collegamento wi-fi, che comunque non strettamente necessario ma solo comodo)
i comandi intorno al display sono semplici, abbastanza intuitivi, e il funzionamento immediato
la fototrappola fisicamente ben fatta e per quanto le superfici siano di plastica d una sensazione di vera robustezza; la chiusura dello sportello con guarnizione promette una sicura impermeabilit
quindi come primo impatto sono molto molto soddisfatto (il rapporto qualit/prezzo mi pare eccellente)
a questo punto non vedo l’ora di provarla sul campo, dopo di che aggiorner la recensione

installata nel prato della casa di campagna, funziona in modo eccellente: attiva da un mese per 7 ore ogni notte e non si sono ancora scaricate le batterie, non pare aver risentito per nulla del meteo avverso, ha fotografato diversi animali che sono tornati per diverse notti, un daino, una volpe, un gatto che si credeva smarrito a fine estate 🙂 (allego solo un paio delle decine di scatti memorizzati), in seguito prover con i video

Very easy to use ,picture quality is really good ,wi-fi slow but works and is very handy viewing files from the warmth of my home .
I cant wait every morning to see what is on the cam from last night .
The camera works as specified, taking videos/pictures or streaming live over WIFI. It takes a while to understand how to operate the camera. However, it works well when set up. I can’t give an opinion on the battery life because I’ve not had it long.

Unfortunately the first camera I got was faulty but this was quickly remedied by the excellent customer services team and a couple of days later I had a replacement camera which is every bit as clear as my other camera which is of a well known and popular brand but more expensive,this one is well worth the money.
Easy to use, good quality camera for day and nightime with plenty of settings to choose from. The main issue is the built-in WiFi connection that is patchy at best and really hammers the batteries. I’ve stopped using it so had I known I would not have paid extra for this feature.
This camera is great quality and easy to set up. Usually I will take notes on how to easily set up devices but this one was easy to follow the given instructions. I didn’t test Bluetooth but don’t see the need when the WiFi works great.
The build quality is good and it’s not very heavy even with 8 AA batteries in.
There is a loop to padlock it closed in case you are leaving it somewhere where someone else could access it and you can password lock the camera itself.
I haven’t had a chance or need to use the attached straps yet as I have placed it in the garden against a stake in the ground to watch what critters come through a hole in the fence.
The one issue I do have is the tripod adaptor and mountain plate (the round disc) use but as to keep attached and they don’t stay tight. Should easily be fixed with a couple of washers though.
One other thing I didn’t consider was about batteries. I didn’t realise I take it for granted that everything nowadays has built in batteries and usb-c and I think this could perhaps benefit for just a built in battery to avoid needing 8x AA separately to the purchase of the device. Finally it needs an SD card but these are also something I don’t have much of anymore so micro SD would be great or built in storage because it’s just so cheap. But other than that the camera is great and am glad to have it and will hopefully have some good results from it being stationed in the garden soo
I have been considering a trail camera for a while and after some damage to my lawn decided to pull the trigger.
Both the picture quality and video is very good although I have yet to use in daylight. I have had the camera out 2 nights picking up quite a few videos and there’s still quite a bit of battery life left ( it takes 8 x AA ).
The camera is easy to use and the menu fairly straightforward. I did turn off the beep noise you get when you press the buttons as it is annoying. There as lots of options like choosing video length and image megapixels.
It’s still early days but It I would definitely recommend this camera if you are after one.
This is a very impressive wildlife camera. 4K is superb but remember I would advise using an U3 memory card with 4k to prevent buffering. These days they are cheap as chips.
Very simple to set up and access. The Bluetooth is ingenious!
Unfortunately, I have only caught my cat so far but we were having issues with other cats entering the garden and fighting, so I wanted to catch the one causing the problems but as yet they have opted not to come back!
Easy to set up and I strapped this to a fence post 🙂 Easy. Bluetooth makes it simply to access on your phone as well.
I used to have a 1080p camera which looked similar but the quality of the images is very noticeable. The other bonus is it starts to write over older vids and photos you no longer need without having to remove the card. The only thing that it could benefit from is a wifi connection so you can view it away from home but facing facts, this would smash the battery and also is of no use if it is outwith a wifi area, which as a wildlife camera it probably will be.
Would I recommend is always the question at the end of these feedbacks, 100% yes. This is a wildlife camera but will still double as security if required to do so.
Amazon reduces the quality of the photos but this gives you an idea.
Immagini e video sono di buona qualit, e il comportamento degli animali ripresi evidenzia come la luce IR non dia loro fastidio, e anzi la ignorino completamente.
Non d 5 stelle per la visione notturna perch non la migliore tra quelle che ho provato, anche se decisamente buona, e non d 5 stelle per impermeabilit perch quando mi arrivata, la fototrappola aveva il vetro di protezione della lente diurna non perfettamente incollato ( venuto via quando ho rimosso la pellicola protettiva che lo copriva). L’ho spinto in sede e sembra essersi incollato perfettamente. Di fatto la fototrappola gi stata sotto diversi temporali senza dare problemi. Il servizio clienti stato molto veloce e pronto ad aiutarmi, anche se alla fine non ho optato per il reso ma l’ho tenuta.
Nel complesso la consiglierei sicuramente!
Aggiungo una nota dopo qualche settimana di utilizzo, ho collegato la fototrappola a un pannello solare per alimentarla senza un eccessivo dispendio di batterie (dopo 5 o 6 giorni l’indicatore riportava gi 2 barrette su 3 di carica, forse dovute alle connessioni wifi per verificare il funzionamento). Per come costruita la fototrappola, non possibile aprire lo sportellino per prelevare la schedina MicroSD senza staccare lo spinotto dell’alimentazione del pannello solare, e questo provoca lo spegnimento “improvviso” della fototrappola ogni volta che bisogna aprirla, il che potrebbe compromettere la scheda di memoria.
Sarebbe stato meglio progettare la scocca in modo da poter aprire lo sportellino mantenendo inserita l’alimentazione, a mio avviso. Resta comunque un prodotto valido.
I received my Usogood TC80 Trail camera same day with amazon prime. I charged 8 x AA Re-charchables and slotted them in the battery magazine as instructed by the arrows on the unit. You can also power it via the 6v adapter at the bottom of the unit. The Cam was very easy to setup leaving most settings as standard just adjusting the resolution of pictures and video. I also recommend this Cam because of the rubber seals being water tight and good quality. I strapped my cam to a tree in a random location for 24 hours and got the results in the video below. I did not have the setting of video on max but quality was excellent. I am very pleased with this Wildlife Cam and highly recommend it to others that are interested in an easy to setup cam that oozes quality and performance.
Very pleased. I’d tried another brand and returned it. Takes very good stills and videos and is simple to use. It had been outside for a few months now and remains weatherproof. Buying a card reader made it even easier for me to see the recordings as I only have an iPad, and this makes the photos even quicker to download rather than using the Bluetooth. Highly recommend.
Blown away by the quality of the images, I thought the other cameras by USOGOOD were excellent but this beats them all. Only trouble is I forgot to set the date on this, too excited to get it in place, so its 2021, never mind. I have a few of the cameras around the garden and tried this one in the Hedgehog Feeding Station. As you can hopefully see it does not put them off. Great item, would highly recommend, love it, would probably consider trading in my TC30 and TC50’s for another TC80 or just keep them as well as they are still very good and the images are clear on all of them.
This camera is the best I have had. it wins on all points. The usual weak point of trail cameras is the hinges and mounting point (A PREVIOUS DIFFERENT BRAND) This is the second of this brand I have used. They are well made. This new version is really well constructed. It feels right and on inspection it is right. The hinges, and also the loops for the strap mounting are robustly made. Excellent. Access to the SD card, which now is a full size one, not a fiddly micro one, is ready to hand. The introduction of a wi-fi link to your phone (and in my case my I Pad as well), makes life very easy. 1) you can use it to see the field of view you want when setting it up. previously it has been a bit of guess work as you cant easily use the screen when setting up position. 2) it is easy to check if you have captured anything without recourse to getting the SD card out , and disturbing your set up. All in all I am delighted with this camera. Attached is a still taken during the set up, and the first video taken in action overnight. My favourite Hedgehog.

The camera is good build quality which gives you confidence that it will perform in all weathers. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to set up and then it’s just a case of getting your location right. Unfortunately I have not captured much apart from my dog and will change the location, but the quality of the photographs are superb and very clear and so is the video.
The battery life so far is really good.
Would recommend this camera for those who want to capture wildlife.

Bought this as my first trail camera and it has lived up to expectations. Easy to set up and use with high quality videos and still photos. Battery life has been better than I expected. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality trail camera at a resaonable price.
Very poor buy. WiFi is not very powerful. Batteries do not last very long.
Camera was easy to setup, just plug in a USB card, 8 batteries and it’s ready to go.
Has a bright colour screen and comprehensive menu with various settings such as video resolution form 720p to 4k.
Uses AA batteries,. so easy to charge and replace. Because it’s batteru operated can place anywhere anytime, so easy to move around. Though battery life depends on settings i.e. 4k video is going to drain the battery fast within a few days, whilst will last several weeks if just taking photos.
Ive not tried connecting it to my phone, I view the footage on the camera’s screen and if I want to grab any I just take the SD card out and plug it into my computer.
Overall a good addition to my camera collection.
This was my second camera trap and is a distinct improvement on the first one.
I bought the camera to see what wildlife was visiting my garden at night.
After installing the batteries and SD card into the camera, I installed the app on my phone.
Connecting to the camera was easy.
1. The app sends a bluetooth signal to the camera to switch on the WiFi.
2. The app then redirects to your available WiFi connections.
3. Wait for the SID of the camera to appear in the list.
4. When the SID appears, select it. (You may be warned that the WiFi connection has no internet connection. Ignore this.)
5. Press the back button and the app connects to the camera.
The WiFi range was much better than my previous camera. I don’t have a very big garden, but the WiFi from my first camera didn’t reach the length of the garden. This one had enough signal strength to reach.
From the app, you can easily change the settings on the camera. I found this much easier than changing the settings directly on the camera. There was no option to set the date and time from the app, but I found that it was set correctly. Therefore I assume that the camera takes its date time settings from your phone.
You can also take pictures and videos manually in daylight mode or night mode from the app. This is useful to see what to expect when the camera has been placed in the desired position.
I installed the camera in position and waited.
After nothing on the first 2 nights, I thought I’d better check the settings. All were OK. I then tested the sensors. The camera has 3 sensors. One in the middle pointing forwards and 2 others pointing left or right. The middle one wasn’t working. I also found that the camera could not take photographs, but was able to record videos.
I contacted Usogood customer service. I have to say the response was excelent. They obviously believe in their products.
I was offered a replacement, but due to changes in circumstances, I opted for a refund.
Bought this camera after researching others of similar specifications. It was easy to set up and get using and produced good quality results both day and night without too much time spent setting up. Picture quality is nice and clear. Only thing I have found is that the external supply I bought to go with it needs a different plug as it has to be quite long to make a proper connection. However since using it on batteries it does seem to last a reasonable time.

Me and my partner purchased this product to place on our fence in our garden as two sets of foxes had cubs just in the field behind. My son was really excited to see them so we set up the camera and boy did it not disappoint ! The picture is clear and we got some beautiful footage of the foxes with their babies. Great watching and very educational for my little boy. He loves it !

It’s really interesting seeing what wildlife comes in your garden and this camera as made the viewing perfect. I have a couple of wildlife cams and this one is by far the best. The image quality is second no none. At full definition the battery’s don’t last that long obviously if the camera is working regularly, but what can you expect. Quality comes at a price. On a lower resolution still good quality with a longer life for the batteries.

I personally prefer the battery box used on the earlier version but size is reduced which is a bonus.
The camouflage colours have changed on this version to dark green and black which again is an improvement as the sandy yellow colour used previously was a bit garish.
Really happy with this camera which was a gift for someone. She has already gotten some lovely footage of garden birds!
I bought the camera to film wildlife in my back garden in Cambridge. The garden is 100ft long and 20 feet wide, so not huge and only a couple of miles from the centre of Cambridge. I knew there were foxes and muntjac deer in the area but was amazed to find that I had a badger(s) visiting regularly in the middle of the night!
The camera records very sharp pictures both during the day (full colour) and at night (black and white). The audio recording quality is also excellent. I now start everyday reviewing the nightime events and am delighted to have found a new hobby. Money well spent!
Have been looking at wildlife cameras for a while now, and after reading the reviews of this one I decided to take the plunge. I have to say I am not disappointed so far. I haven’t had a chance to fully review the battery life yet – I will update this review once I’ve had it long enough – but the picture and video quality are really impressive. As is the build quality, it feels like a sturdy piece of kit but not heavy. Very glad of my purchase, I would definitely recommend.
Only wanted it to check on the birds and the fox at night.
Also serves as a nice little security camera of someone’s creeping round the property.
This camera is great for capturing wildlife; it captured a photo of a bird in mid-flight with incredible clarity, and it also doubled as a security video by catching a trespasser entering our property, so that’s a plus! This product is incredibly easy to set up and secure outside, and I am quite pleased with it.
I like the camera, it produces a clear picture and is fairly straightforward to set up, the only problem I’ve had is with connecting up the wi-fi but I got there eventually
when i got this camera i was On its size and I love the camo camouflage look i love how u get two ways to mount it and the strap that he came with his pretty long very secure this my ever first wildlife camera and my first thought was pretty good worth the money as well it takes 8 AA batteries and i love how it have the temperature displayed on the screen three sensors on the front only thing i would have loved if the battery compartment was inside the case so no one can take the batteries out but overall it is a great camera great night vision great pictures good audio I would definitely recommend this camera if you are into wildlife again I’m not into wildlife cameras this is my very first and I’m loving it because we do get wild animals and the app is easy to use it’s just overall brillia

This camera is perfect for catching wild life , it caught a picture of a bird mid flight , the quality of the picture is amazing, also doubled as a security video as it caught a trespasser coming in to our land so that’s a bonus ! Really easy to set up and secure outside, very happy with this find
Picture quality good. Setting up tedious. Will not connect to iPhone as per instructions. Left looking as small screen on camera. Very disappointed considering 94. However it does work as a camera with censor.
High resolution and very good image quality for the price. Good for monitoring nighttime crittwers in the garden.
I have wanted one of these cameras for years now, and I have finally taken the plunge.
After much research I settled on this particular model, and its one of the best purchases I’ve ever made!
It’s easy and intuitive to set up, the wi-fi and Bluetooth save a lot of hassle, but most importantly is the picture quality and night vision. You can see in this video, one of the first times I used the camera, such a great feeling to see the footage.
I would recommend using some good quality lithium batteries, I’ve had mine set up for 5 weeks taking anywhere between 50 and 100 videos a night, amd its barely made a dent in the battery life.
10/10 would recommend
[UPDATE: On Motion Capture, 720p setting on battery alone, so far my trail cam has taken 900 photos, it’s still over 50% on the power display and it’s lasted over a month!]
Every year, someone steals my strawberries from my allotment.
Well this year, I’m going to find out who thanks to this camera.
It’s easy to connect to. The settings are very simple to navigate and alter.
It is well built, sturdy. It has a hook that allows you to padlock the screen shut.
On 8x AA batteries with the motion capture set to take photos in 720p, it has lasted 4 days so far.
I would say if you want to make use of the impressive 4k settings, or the Time-lapse recording, you will need a 6v DC adapter to power it constantly. But even on battery it has surprised me with the quality of the images.
I got this device to use as a security camera in my garden where I have no power or wifi.
The camera was very simple to setup and use. The app connects to the camera and you can view photos and download video very easily.
I tested it with the photo and video attached and it caught me by the house in total darkness. I will now move this into position.
I’ve had an issue with rodents, and this camera perfectly captured good clear video footage of the culprit in my garden. Happy days!
